Question: Should I get a new wedding ring? Posted: 03 Feb 2016 07:17 PM PST I got a promise ring from an boyfriend a long time ago, it's been over for years. I just recently got married, a close person to me noticed that the center part of my three piece wedding ring is princess cut just like my old promise ring. I love my ring set but after I was told that I feel strange about it. Is it wrong to have the same style of ring like before? |
Question: What kind of food and drinks would you want to see at a BBQ wedding reception? Posted: 03 Feb 2016 01:57 PM PST We're planning a casual, laid back, t-shirt and jeans wedding, followed by a BBQ reception. Thanks to another contributor, we're having an "I Do Barbecue". Now we need ideas for food and drinks for the reception. We won't serve hard liquor, but we are open to beer and wine. Other than that, what kind of food and drinks would you want to see at a BBQ wedding reception? |
Question: My cousin wants a groomswoman? Posted: 03 Feb 2016 12:52 PM PST My cousin's wedding is coming up, and he wants his sister to be on his side as a groomswoman. Before you ask, no she's not gay, she's not masculine. She's just going to stand next to him. I see no problem with it; it makes sense seeing as they're very close like best friends, but their mother won't allow it, she's saying it's "untraditional". She's saying that the pictures will look messed up, and the fact that his sister will be walking down the aisle with another girl is "revolting" apparently. What should we say to her? |
Posted: 03 Feb 2016 08:55 AM PST So my sister is overly nice to everyone. So when she announced her wedding, my stepmother was all about inviting her best friend and a few family members to her wedding. Im different than my sister and very standoffish. My stepmother has not once asked me if she can invite anyone to my wedding. Why? Is it because I intimidate my stepmother and she is afraid of what I Will say to her? |
Question: Where is a good vacation spot for Muslim covered girls in the usa? Posted: 03 Feb 2016 07:12 AM PST I am engaged soon to get married and was wondering where I could go for my honeymoon hijab freindly, like where could I go where it might have a private pool, and other private things? Question: My friend keeps changing her wedding plans? Posted: 02 Feb 2016 11:26 PM PST My friend is getting married to a great guy in the beginning of March. I am looking forward to going to the wedding (also because I am going to be a bridesmaid). I am losing patience because my friend keeps changing things. She's been talking about this wedding since these past few months. A month ago, she required the bridesmaids to buy a certain color of dress. Within this month, I could have bought the dress. Thankfully, I didn't buy it. A week ago, her mom and her decided to change the dress color last minute to red (her mom then clarified it had to be a specific shade of red). To be honest, I was put off a little by that because if I was somehow unable to return the dress, I would be out almost a hundred dollars. I just said okay and she then told me her rehearsal dinner was going to be this week. Two days before which was today, she told me that the dinner was actually the day before the wedding. I was upset because I asked my job to have that day off. I called her and she seemed kind of embarrassed but didn't say sorry. I couldn't believe she didn't know her own rehearsal date. I really don't want my job in jeopardy either. What should I do? |

Posted: 02 Feb 2016 06:44 PM PST So I don't get why this girl in vietnam now thinks that she has the power to tell me what to do. I recently told my aunt that I am thinking about delaying the wedding for a few years for some personal reasons. This fiancee of mine heard about it and now she wants to delay the wedding for a few years. She told my aunt that she has other things to worry about before even thinking about marriage like caring for her family and her siblings. I am pissed off because I am 27 and I wanna get married and start a family of my own. She should be listening to me as I am the man of the house and I have the power to bring her here to america. I am tired of viet girls in america playing games with me like that girl named huong and now this jerk decides to play games with me. If she's gonna do this then I might as well find another girl in vietnam to marry. People then said no one wants to you anywhere and said don't you get it your a d bag that no one wants. I told them that I am close to hurting someone and they said see you on the next episode of criminal minds. I am nothing like those criminals on that show and I am tired of insults from everybody. I might just go with a mail order bride service in vietnam if I keep on being given a hard time. This girl should be marrying me when I want not when she wants. People want to report me to the FBI because they think that I have intention to be abusive. No one can trace me online. Why are people like this ? Why do they blame it on me ? |
