Question: Wedding requirements? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 08:07 PM PST My fiance and I don't want a big wedding. We're thinking ceremony, talking, then we see everyone out. Not cake, no after party, etc. What is the purpose of such? We will have waters set out for our guests, 20 max. We just want it simple and to the point. Opinions? We're 2 broke kids in love who want to do this for under $500 as well, though the short & sweet thing is already spoken for; we want to get married without all the fluff in it. Uniting us together forever is enough for us. |
Posted: 13 Feb 2016 04:33 PM PST They are setting up a wedding registry. I just think the whole idea of giving a gift to someone that is wealthy when they already have more than anyone I know is ridiculous. Your take? Did I forget to mention his girlfriend is a lawyer too? So they have a combined income of at least $300,000 a year. What could I possibly give them? A toaster? A can opener? I won't even be attending their wedding in Fiji for crying out loud! They live in Brentwood, a very wealthy neighborhood of Los Angeles. |
Question: Wedding invitations? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 01:37 PM PST So i made my wedding invitations today and we got ones with our picture on it but we did not have any professional looking pictures so we used a selfie. Does that seem kind of stupid? |

Question: Is a 30 second wedding toast too short? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 10:43 AM PST It's for a parent and his new husband. The wedding guest list is very small, and he's asked me to say something to have someone from our family welcome him. I basically have a few seconds of thank them and the guests, then saying they make a great couple and I'm happy to see them happy, and then say congratulations, say welcome and end with a joke. It's difficult to figure how to address them besides their names and There's not a lot of example wedding toasts for second weddings from a daughter. It's short because I know I'm not a great storyteller and I'm completely without help with putting this together, which I've never done this before. It's not because I don't care or anything negative |
