Question: Homecoming ideas for my husband? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 09:03 PM PST My husband is coming home to NY after deployment and we have a 6 month old daughter, what are some fun ways for us to do as a family and as a couple. We usually just stay in and watch tv and stuff but we want to do some new stuff. |
Question: How do I break away from my wife? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 08:48 PM PST I am not happy with her but we have a child together. One of the reasons I've stayed with her is that I don't want to pay child support. With my salary it would be quite a bit of money. We are not technically married under law so at least that would simplify things a little. I really want to make this work but I just don't think I love her anymore. What do I do? I'm looking for unique answers here. |

Question: Anyone else have a spouse that thinks NOTHING you do is right? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 06:43 PM PST My son likes fish and asked my husband to make him some. I took it out of the freezer and my husband says just stick it in hot water to defrost it (not a safe way to defrost it by the way) so i open the package and my husband FLIPS because "I m an idiot" and should have not taken it out of the package- i should have put the package in the hot water to defrost it????? REALLY?????? He is like this for everything. If we take a walk we aren t going fast enough. Can t make his coffee right which is a joke because we use water bottles (2 always and 2 tablespoons coffee) he makes it, it s the best ever - i do the exact same way and it s the worst coffee ever. He always had a complaint about everything and my ten year old even told him he makes him feel stupid. My husband told him he wasn t stupid and then proceeded two minutes later to criticize him on washing dishes and the temp of the water and which sponge he was using. It s freaking ridiculous and i find myself making sure i am gone for work (which he is sure i suck at too) long before he gets up and has to go work and that i go to bed before he comes home. |

Question: Is my wife overreacting? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 06:22 PM PST She gave me a puppy for Valentine's Day (a real puppy). But I didn't get her anything like I said in another question. She's not mad she just told me she's disappointed and she took the puppy back to the lady she bought it from and apologized to her. I mean, it's not my fault that I didn't get her anything but to remember this **** every year?! I was busy taking my mom to get her errands done so it's totally not my fault. |

Posted: 14 Feb 2016 05:00 PM PST We just had our first child in Oct and wife is gaining more weight. I've been going to the gym and getting my muscular body back while encouraging wife to come but she's always saying she's tired. I take care of the baby more than her. She might go one time and then that's it. I've tried being an example, motivating, even begrudging when I see she always is eating popeyes and other fatty stuff. She eats a lot, sits on the couch and watches videos. She never wants to accompany me to the gym even when I take the baby with me as a sign for her. She is getting so fat and I'm no longer attracted to her. She keeps insisting I tell her I love her but I really do not anymore. How can she be so lazy? I'm getting my pre baby body back (really muscular) but she keeps getting fatter and fatter to the point where she hides her body in pics. Wth can I do? I'm on the verge of leaving. Advice please. I've tried everything guys. I'm confused and so overwhelmed at how she can be so lazy and not wanting to take care of herself. She has massive love handles and rolls of guts and it's exasperating. |
Question: ARE KIDS ALL HE WANTS?!? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 04:58 PM PST I ve been dating a guy since Nov. We seem to enjoy hanging out. He said he wants a family of his own someday. I thought I did too. But I ve given it some serious thought. I do not want kids I m already 33. He has been married 2 times. Still legally married to the second wife. Pays her $1,000 a month until Dec 2018. He also has this female friend that has 6 kids, by different fathers. Goes to facility for Methadone. She also takes illegal drugs. She doesn t work, and is a bad mother. He takes her to appointments and then takes her out to eat. I don t really like him associating with her. But, he won t stop contact her!! I feel as if all he wants from me is to give him kids, like I m a baby factory. He said that he couldn t guarantee that if I wasn t physically able to get pregnant, that he would dump me. I don t know what do about the things I mentioned above. |
Posted: 14 Feb 2016 04:10 PM PST One look becomes two, then three...then making eye contact with them once, twice, three times. Is this going a bit too far? So you dont think think there is an issue while a man is out to eat with his wife or family, that he is letting another woman know he is attracted to her by these unspoken signals...even when he has a beautiful wife sitting right there with him? I disagree, I dont think he should do anything behind my back that he wouldnt do in front of my face. When you are married, there are things that you do not do out of respect and loyalty to your wife and family. Its no better or more disrespectful if you do it behind someone's back, anymore if you do it in front of their face. What would it signal to a female if a man were doing this and his wife was not there....she would want to come over and start a conversation...and thats how affairs start I admire other attractive men and women...I notice them, I will even smile and acknowledge them as they walk by. I do not sit there and stare until I get their attention, and then keep staring back and forth, unless Im single and I want someone to talk to me. @Johnny, you clearly do not know how to read or you need a pair of glasses. If I go to therapy, Im taking you with so i can drop you off at the nearby preschool. Just for the record, this is not my problem....this is what some men do when I am out...and yes, it bothers me and makes me feel sorry for their wives. Im just letting you men know...if it's uncomfortable to the women you are ogling...its disrespectful to your wives. Sweetheart, it wasnt my man...if it was, he wouldnt be able to smile at her...cause he wouldnt have any teeth left |
Question: Can a 17 and 19 year old from different states get married with parental consent? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 04:07 PM PST Can a 19 year old guy from Arkansas marry a 17 year old girl from Missouri with parental consent? We are both graduated from high school ( we were both homeschooled). He has a good job and already has a bachelors degree and I am doing online college classes and run my own business. So are finances are in place. We are both very responsible! We are and love and want to get married in the next few months if possible (we are engaged). But is it possible to get marred since we are from different states and the ages? Our parents are perfectly fine with it and think marriage is a great thing :) |

Posted: 14 Feb 2016 03:41 PM PST My girlfriend has been separated for about 5yrs, she says she hasn't gotten divorced because he doesn't have any health INS and gets it through her. We have been together about 3yrs. We live together and she has been hinting around about getting married. I say when she gets divorced we can talk about marriage she says when I get her a ring she will get a divorce. Now she says i have a fear of commitment. Any thoughts? |
Question: Am I wrong for being upset....? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 03:39 PM PST Is it wrong to get upset with your husband for making a hickey bigger than a quarter dollar? I don t like hickeys especially big and black right on the center of my neck. He thinks I m cheating now at work cause I dont want a Hickey but I am NOT cheating I love my husband dearly. I repeatedly told him I don t mind small hickeys..but the big dark ones I do mind its not professional no matter what the title of my job is. Question: Am asian and been dating a white man? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 01:56 PM PST However, I notice he always looks at redheads and blondes, saying his favorite hair color on a woman is redhair. He said he likes their pink tight you know what. Mine is not pink because am Asian. He openly looks at other women namely redheads and blondes when we are out in public together, and even points out the hot ones. Ever since I said it bothers me he has stopped pointing them out, but will definitely ogle them while out with me. Also, he likes the sl utty look in women, the "sleazy easy look", like the fake tanned blondes. He is an adult in his early 40's, I thought men matured by then, apparently not. Should I leave him ? |
Posted: 14 Feb 2016 01:55 PM PST This is 5 years of marriage now and a year of marriage a d every holiday, nothing special. He accused me of cheating, bla bla bla. I m hurt. I m so.tired of feeling shitty about myself, ugly, or not.special. I am not.sure why. He tells me I am beautiful all the time. I know.that I am above.average in looms, but not a model. What is wrong with me that I am not special to him? I m seriously depressed. |

Question: Husband is being destructive? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 01:41 PM PST So my husband is 23 and I am 22 he was abused as a child emotionally and physically by his dad. He is a really sweet guy who would do anything for anyone but he started to drink very very very heavily. He has nightmares and tremors and says the alcohol and pot help him cope with the stresses of life and the past. I really care about him but when he comes home he brings whatever vodka or whiskey is cheap and just goes to town on it. His work and grades have suffered but its heart breaking to see him drink himself till he passes out. It is heart breaking to see a the man I love harm himself like this. The worst episode we had was after he fell and injured himself and broke his ankle and had a minor injury he was drinking and took some pain pills and had to be rushed to the emergency room. I love him but I need to know how to deal with this he has virtually no family support except mine...I talked to our Bishop and he said that rehab is what he needs. How do I go about this to get him into rehab? |
Question: Why am I now more attracted to Indian women than western women? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 01:22 PM PST I am an Aussie guy infatuated by Indian women. I have just been divorced from my athletic and attractive Australian woman after 16 years of marriage. The reason for the split was because she caught me surfing Indian sites and could feel that my love for her, and western women in general was fading. This has been going on for the last 3 years and my attraction to Indian women is growing stronger and stronger. As an arrogant and confident woman, she took offence that I find Indian women more attractive and her response was quite ugly and racist. Things got quite nasty and it proved that she was more absorbed with herself and her looks and less about me which made our separation and divorce the only way to go. I love the womanly figure of mature Indian women and long to meet and be with one. They appear to be more loving and respect a man more than western women do. Western women only have sex when they want and are quite selfish in the bedroom, where I like to think that Indian women are more into mutual satisfaction and enjoy sex for the love making it Is. Am I correct with my assumption? |
Question: My husband doesn't like our daughter? On the verge of divorce? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 01:02 PM PST I'm a mother of four and our daughter is our second youngest, who we'll call E. We adopted her when she was 9 from London, now 14. My husband was reluctant because of her age and we have adopted before despite my first born. Also because her records say she grew up around alcohol and drugs and religious abuse. I am a very open minded Christian. We go to Church every Sunday except for E. She has confessed that she's agnostic which I completely accept. She's not comfortable with Church because of her past so I let it slide. My husband keeps trying to force it upon her though. E's younger sister is known to take E's personal items and my husband tries to tell E that this wouldn't happen if she took better care of things. When E turned 12, she called me from school asking me to pick her up because she felt sick and she got her first period. My husband says she was lying to get out of school. He's always giving her difficult chores to do and gets mad at her for small things, saying she's a nuisance. If she says something to a sibling that he doesn't like, he tries to punish her. Last week, he grounded her for being a half hour late home even though she said her skates broke so she had to walk. E gets straight A's and is a top student. She's the kindest out of all my children. I'm sick of my husband treating her like this to the point where I want a divorce because he's just awful to her. What do I do? He's not like this with our other children, only her. I'm not sure what to do. @Mamawisdom I do not favor E over my children. I punish her when needed just like my other children. She's very responsible and mature for her age. My husband is not treating her like he does our other children. He doesn't nitpick every single thing they do except for her. |

Posted: 14 Feb 2016 11:27 AM PST This is such a cliche, it's embarrassing. Married 18 years and 4 kids, youngest are 16. Last year he took an exciting job offer including overseas work for weeks at a time. Second to last time he was abroad, in Nov, he began facebooking a high school classmate. (He's 46, I'm 44). He was scheduled to be home for Thanksgiving. As time drew closer, he said he had to stay longer. On Thxgiving the kids, in laws and I had dinner together. But he'd flown home before Thxgiving and went to her place for days, then came home on Dec 2. Three days of denial, and he finally admitted he had a "friend". Then he admitted he's had sex but said it didn't matter who it was. He said he lied abt her so I wouldn't think I was being replaced. He makes literally 3x what I do. This is a midlife crisis, no doubt. It's textbook. He has changed into someone I no longer know. (He's a Progressive and she supports Trump!) But I want to know what the chances of their relationship making it? She actually texted me to say that they were "very happy about starting a life together" We are still married! She's got a lot of nerve. And he's so stupid to let her. They are openly happy but they are in the pink cloud still. Everyone tells me they won't stay together but look at Brad and Angelina.- it's possible. Whether or not they make it shouldn't matter, I know. Tell it to my heart though. It's been 3 months and they are behaving like teenagers. My best friend is dead, he no longer exists. Will they succeed? |
Question: A married girl bestfriend? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 11:02 AM PST Ok this sounds bad but I'm best friends with a married girl. Her husband's been letting me see her alone the last few months alone or with him. She an I are so much alike. She also has a kid by her husband. They was both my best friends but I was more her friend then the guy. Anyways I was layed off an net her at work an heard I could go back too the same job from my manager in a month. She's happy for me. But she resintly blocked me. What do you think is going on in her mind? I have sent her alot of videos on her wall an she's been liking most of them. Could I be smothering her an leave her alone? Maybe I'm doing the wrong thing. An maybe her blocking me was best. What should I do? |

Question: Is any age under 25 too young to marry someone? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 09:14 AM PST |
Posted: 14 Feb 2016 08:38 AM PST because his car is old, we end up driving mine everywhere. I have shared with him before that I don t think it s fair that we drive my car into the ground because he has never purchased a new car. I make the payments...I also use it for work. I feel conflicted because I feel like it s wrong of any guy to be okay with driving his wife s car all of the time. He does drive his car to work...I need mine because I travel during the day. He does also fill up my tank if we are driving around and it gets low. I think I am bothered by the idea however old fashioned it may be, that a man wouldn t want to protect his wife by using his own car? I have told him before that i dont mind if my car is the trip car. But i feel like he takes advantage. Thoughts please. |
Question: My husband has lost the touch of being great in bed (re-asked, updated question) ? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 08:35 AM PST I asked this question the day before, but answers were not upto the mark and answerers were asking me questions, as I feel my description wasnt detailed enough. Answers to some of the questions asked or what the answerer incorrectly assumed. 1. Its not bcoz he doesn't want another child, we do want another child in...but in 2 years? 2. Yes I did speak to him about it, but he tries to deviate the topic or says he'll try better. 3. No he is not cheating on me, he is not that type, we have been together 8 years now. So don't ask me to leave him, we love each other. 4. Im not the problem, I make the effort to be sexy and adventurous. 5. Yes I'm thinking of considering counselling, coz of the lack of communication between us in terms of sex. 6. Like every normal human being, we do face stress, at work, at home, it is a part of life but we try to make te best of it. I do ask him if there is anything troubling him but he always says he is fine. Money is not the issue ! 7. Yes I do spent time with him and he does so with me and together with our child and no, I don't believe that sex dies off after marriage, but my husband isn't intimate as he used to be, that is the only thing lacking. 8. No, I am not over weight (seriously???) we are both healthy and in great shape, so I can't see that he has health problems that makes him having sex a problem, he just isn't intimate anymore!. 9. And Yes, I do give him home made food LoL, to the person who said that, what does that even mean ? |
Question: Ladies, how would you feel if your partner? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 08:10 AM PST Was on Facebook, messaging other women with long texts about how they are young and attractive and can do a lot better than their bf, or sending messages on there saying they shouldn't marry the man they are going to marry because he is beneath her and she's better looking with options at her disposal. Also messaging others to say he missed letting go a good thing because he never found that again. He said that with a fake facebook name so these people don't know who he is. Can anyone explain that part ? Why use a name they don't recognize to say how he feels ? |

Question: My fiancée is very controlling of my life. Is this just a phase or is it something more? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 07:19 AM PST On the outside it seems like I have a great life; I have a beautiful fiancée, a beautiful daughter, a good career and a nice home. But I'm not as happy as I should be. I'm 23 and my she is 7 years older and we've been together for over 3 years already and most of the time it has been great. We're engaged, have started a family and she's loving towards me most of the time... but not always. She dominates and dictates my life and she can be really abusive at times. Nobody would believe a petite blonde can be violent but it happens. She controls many things and is too passionate at times. Maybe I am responsible in some way.I believe this is just a temporary problem but it hasn't been easy. Maybe relationship counciling would help? |
Posted: 14 Feb 2016 06:20 AM PST We split chores and parenting. Should I kiss her randomly? Things like this. She isn't into stuff like we used to as she has young children to look after. I'm hoping we get back to normal soon but need some advice. Thanks |

Question: Please help me figure out hot to divorce this guy.? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 02:56 AM PST A few years ago I got married at city hall in Quincy Massachusetts, then 2 weeks after the marriage I caught him cheating on me. So obviously i left him. I never ended up telling social security that we were married because i was planning on an annulment. I went to the court house and they wouldnt let me, said cheating isnt grounds for that and id have to divorce him. At the time i was a single mother (not his child) and couldnt afford it. so i called trying to ask for a divorce and if he would help pay, but he would just reject my calls and never call back. So i called him at work at a non busy time, and asked him if he would help pay, he told me to go fu** myself, we got into a huge argument and he hung up. A few days later I was served with restraining order papers. So i left it alone for over a year. I then moved to North Carolina with my boyfriend, we've been here a year, we want get married and he wants to adopt my daughter. my boyfriend said i could download free divorce papers and just print them out. send them to him, have him sign and mail them back, and bring them to my local family court. Ive looked around and havent seen any free online divorce papers. Even if i pay for legal divorce papers and download them (which i will do) can i do it that way without a lawyer?? we have no assets, no children, no ties expect the marriage certificate. will the way he suggested work or is there a better way? sorry its so long. want to give as much information as possible |
Posted: 14 Feb 2016 01:04 AM PST I'm been a widow/single for the past six years. I have four children that I'm raising on my own. They do have very strong male role models in my life, in the form of my five amazing brothers (I'm the only girl). I have no desire to date, remarry or have sex with another man. I don't get lonely, and I'm comfortable with being single. I'm very comfortable in my own skin, and I don't mind being by myself. '' One of my cousins who is happily married, said that I'm strange, because I am this way. She's never had to go through losing a spouse. I've lost two husbands due to accidents, and I have no desire to date or remarry. My life is full, and I no desire to bring another man into my life. Besides the Lord, and my job, my children are my primary focus in life. I do take time out for myself, but at the end of the day, I still like being single. @Suzanne, I think that strong family ties do make a big difference. Our parents (who are deceased) taught us that the Lord and family comes first, no matter what. My brothers are amazing people. I can't say enough about them. |
Question: Suggestions/opinions regarding marriage issue? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 12:42 AM PST So my husband and I are forever arguing because he wants me to be more affectionate towards him and I actually grew cold towards him years ago because I was tired of him not making me feel "special" in any way. I felt and still feel that there is always something that takes precedence and they seem to be unimportant things and constant. Now he feels that I should start being affectionate towards him so he can warm up to me and I feel that he should make the move. I need more suggestions/opinions other than just go to counseling, we are considering this so I am not opposed. |
Posted: 14 Feb 2016 12:33 AM PST I find myself wanting other people. The desire to feel wanted again. My husband has threatened divorce on me several times and always tries to blame our situation on me. I think I have emotionally checked out or something. Question: My husband and I dont have sex anymore? Posted: 14 Feb 2016 12:30 AM PST My husband and I have been together for almost 8 years. Married for almost 4. We both work and have a child together. We have not had sex in about 2 months. And this is always happening. We will have it once then go for another long stretch with out it. He complains about it but even after all that time passes I dont feel the need for it. I want sex but when I go to bed with him I hope he doesn't want it. We have had problems on and off for like a year and it feels like our relationship is going no where. What do you think? |

Question: Am I the cause of my failed marriage? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 10:12 PM PST I have trouble getting work. During our marriage (wife was pregnant the whole time) I lost a really good factory job. I was out of work for 3 weeks. That was when the first fight happened. She was so pissed getting started to wash dishes she calmly started repeating 'you need to get a job' I said; 'I know, babe' that wasn't good enough, so it escalated until she was screaming in face. While I was sitting calmly on the couch. What else could I say? the only way I could btw is by having a ride, she drives, I was never taught how. We moved to the middle of nowhere; population 500, 46miles from the nearest town, because rent was cheaper for a hardwood 3 bedroom house. She started hitting me; slapping, scratching, punching. I pinned her arms to her side, and (since she's really pale) she had bruises on her arm from it. The second time; she was complaining about not having enough money for cigarettes. I have family, and case workers who will help if we're really that desperate. We were both working for her ex, (who actually beat her. By kicking her so hard into a door. Her head left a hole in it. She brags about it.) at the same store, on the same shifts. She always wanted to go over to his house to smoke after work. Remember 46 miles from home. Our shifts end at 3am. I start complaining cause they give me the sh!t jobs that keep us there that long. So she and everyone else could sit around talking for 2 1/2 hours. So one day she decides to hide my pack. She was pretending to sleep. She wakes up gets em. Then starts saying; she regrets ever marrying me, I'm the most worthless person in the world, etc etc. Until she screaming in my face "you never listen! you're not perfect!" jabbing my face with her first 2 fingers, until she backs up, whines back an slaps me as hard as she could. I keep telling her 'Get away from me, Now' She keeps coming back hitting me. Until I finally get up. She runs off after that, but then comes back lunging at me. Punching, scratching, peeling off a little skin. I pin her arms, pin her to the lounge and say 'the only reason, you're pinned like this, is because you can't stop hitting. Remember that.' She spits in my eye and punches it. The she says she wants money "for gas" so she can go to her mom's. I give her 20 out of 127. More than enough to get there and back. No she wants all of it. I say no. So now it's more of the same, except now my right arm is extended to be out her reach. Yet shaking her off me is akin to throwing her down a flight of stairs. She even claimed I pushed her stomach. To shake me up long enough to try to get my wallet. Then she threatens to call the cops (she has the only phone in the house) So I grab it and call my mom. The entire time, she's slapping my face scratching my neck, biting, and pulling out my hair. While my mom is on the phone. Thinking se couldn't hear it. So she'd scream in the background. To try and make it sound like I was hitting h -er. So she leaves, cops come. She leaves for a month. I had no car, no phone, and just lost my job. She comes back claiming I'm bipolar. For us to work. I need to seek help. So lets go to her OBGYN, who she would brag 'She'd do anything for me'. I say no; if we're going to work? we're going to either a Therapist or Psychiatrist. Anyway; this is already too long, and I cut a lot of things she did inbetween, to save time. Was I wrong? |

Question: Hubby said"You don't know what it like for man wait 10 yrs for sex"? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 06:15 PM PST Asalamoalekum Me (21 y.o) and my 23 y.o hubby just got married. We both virgins. And we're in the room by ourself and started making out. He started getting hooorny and moaned "sweetie, you don't know what's it like for a man to wait 10 years for seeex". I giggled a little bit because I thought it was cute. He got angry and said I killed the mood I didn't mean to hurt his feelings! I also waited a few years for sex! Now he won't talk to me :(. I apologized, kissed his cheek and hugged him. But still angry! Any suggestions? |
