Question: Terrified about being my dads best person? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 01:08 PM PST My dad told me I was going to be his best person at his wedding. I'm not allowed to say no. He told me that several times. The thing is, I've suffered from severe anxiety disorder since I was a kid. I have panic attacks easily and hate crowds and standing in front of people. School is hell for me. Especially when I'm in a large group of students. My dad doesn't understand and forces me into situations that even my counselor advises against. He's even putting himself into debt to have a big wedding because he wants to force me to be in a large crowd of people for an entire day. I have begged and pleaded with my dad to cut me some slack. But apparently he's tired of it all and he said I'll have to get over it. He's always felt like that. Always. But since getting engaged, he's been finding ways to push me. Last Saturday he informed me that I'll be making a speech at the wedding and if I don't, I can expect to be grounded for the foreseeable future. Now I'm terrified. I will not get through the wedding without having a breakdown. Nothing will make it easier. My counselor is concerned about it, but he's refusing to discuss it with her now. My grandma is doing her best to try and see if she can help me. But the wedding will be happening in the next couple of months. Any advice? Please don't tell me to deal with it. I'm doing my best and want to be better, but it's taking a while and we're trying different things to help me. |
Question: Funny Question For Girls?!!!!? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 12:55 PM PST I dated my ex-boyfriend for about a year. I broke up with him because he cheated on me with 3 other girls and verbally abused me. Anyway, I saw him at a party a while back and he confronted me in a hallway. We were alone and he said we "had to get back together." I said no so he grabbed my arm and twisted. I broke free and kicked him as hard as I could right in the balls! I was able to catch both of his babymakers and drive those suckers hard with my pointed boots. After I rocked his ballsack, he fell down and puked. The look on his face was priceless. Anyway, I guess I got him so good his nuts swelled up to the size of oranges and one ruptured and had to be removed (I play college soccer so I know how to blast a ballsack!). I feel a little bad but I've also heard he has been telling people he will never mess with a girl again and says he is glad I did not rupture his other nut. He now wears an athletic cup protector all the time to save his remaining jewel. My girlfriends on the soccer team now call me the "nut remover" and say I should hang up a fake pair of nuts like a hunting trophy on a tombstone background with the words "RIP Brian's Nuts-Destroyed By Girl Power" underneath them. Other people say I should hang up a guy's athletic cup as a symbol of female power of male weakness. Any other good nicknames? And what should I hang up? Most creative response gets best answer. Just wish more girls could experience blasting a jerk's balls! It is such a great feeling seeing a supposedly tough guy go down with one kick. Must suck to have nuts. They are just two targets dangling between a guy's legs! One shot and it is all over :) |
Question: My brother makes fun of me? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 12:50 PM PST I am 16 and my brother just turned 20. Now, I am more of quiet and introverted kid. I like to stay at home and read books, browse the internet, or just text my friends. I prefer to be alone rather than being at huge gatherings of people. My brother on the other hand use to be a really popular kid and he had tons of girlfriends and I remember he went to a lot of party's. My brother always makes fun of me and tells me when he was 16 he was out chasing girls and getting lots of girl friends. Not that I don't want a girl friend. It's just not my top interest and I also don't have good social skills. He makes fun of me and sometimes rips books out of my hand or shuts my lap top on me and says I need to go get friends. He even called me a loser before. It really makes me feel bad and angers me. There have been times when I really wanted to punch him in his face. What do I do? Should I just tell him to stop? |
Question: Why do my parents think they can tell me what to do? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 12:29 PM PST I'm 14, but I'm a person with my own wants and desires. In my opinion, I shouldn't have to do something just because my parents tell me to. If I want to stay out late then I should be able to. I hate when my parents try to tell me what to do. Then they think they can start taking away my things when I don't listen to them. They got all pissy yesterday because I was supposed to be grounded and I didn't come home right after school. They made it so the electricity in my room doesn't work anymore. I just didn't do my homework and told my teacher that it's because I didn't have light to see. Lolzzzzzz. Why do my parents think they can tell me what to do???? They can't!!!! I hate them more than anything!!!! How am I supposed to do homework with out lights??? I am on a school computer right now, but when I go home there are no lights in my room. |
Question: Should an adult child help out parents financially ? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 12:20 PM PST As the question above mentions, should an adult child, who still lives at home, pays their own bills, help parents financially even when there is a low income? And in the circumstances that the parents demand for the money, do not help their adult child pay any bills, and refuse to compromise, is it right to refuse helping the parents? |
Question: Suffering from long-term sadness at 17, please help?? :(? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 12:11 PM PST Hi im a 17 year old guy and im sad in a off and back on type of manner. this mainly occurs when i think about what happened between me and my ex- girl. this is not simply because we broke up, this is not mainly even because it was mainly my fault, this is because after years of abuse and constant adversity i finally had something that made me happy, but because of all the abuse i had gone though (over the last 10 years of my life) i had developed emotional issues, ive tried punching walls (to try and get some of it out, it actually used to kinda work) gone through depression, (more than once) and just all in all been fed up of life. many people say that teenage hood tends to be sad for a lot of people because of hormones, but the thing is i remember being sad as early as 8 years old, cause of the violence ive grown up around. so fairly recently on my girlfriends birthday we were both out and she was dancing with her friends, but then one of her guy friends started to dance with her (it wasnt inappropriate, he didn't have his hands on her and her back side wasn't touching on his front) but i was angry that night cause i got my phone stolen, so i complained at her, went on to talk about how awesome my previous girl before her was (which is what i think really got to her) she and her friend explained to me how this guy was like a brother to her and she promised not to hook up with him, but long story short, my anger elevated and i ended up breaking up with her infront of all her friends on her bithday, and she was just like "if you had a problem you should have just said" and she said that multiple times and even asked her friend to try and talk to me, but i just kept on shouting "its over, its over". anyway i tried apologizing to her (cause i really did like her and i did trust her not to do anything with that guy, especially because i saw nothing more than platonic in their dancing) but she just wasn't budging. now she has a new boyfriend and i just think about how this has been the story of my life, i am not happy about what has happened to me to make me this way, i never asked for it, i kept begging my parent to help me out but they never did anything until I! got big enough to fight back my older brother (7 years older) who has been the main cause of all this, my only question is why does every once of hope of happiness i have keep getting snatched away from me?? why?? |
Question: How do i molest babies more efficiently ? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 11:36 AM PST I do take quite a while to do it .... around 30 minuets to do it to be precise but i feel like the good old classic way of molestation is not good enough for babies....any tips from a pro ? Ive seen my grandpa do it to my brother in just 10 minuets but i cant ask him to teach me that since he passed away recently |
Question: Will I be over 6 ft? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 11:34 AM PST Ok so my mom and sister are 5'1 and my dad is 5'8, while my brother is 6'1, I am soon to be 16 years old and I am only 5'7. My parents always show off my brother because he's so tall, and I want to be tall too. How tall will I be? My aunt is 4'11 while my grandma is 4'10 ish. And is there anyway I can become 6ft? |
Question: Disciplining or abuse? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 11:31 AM PST If I was to apologize to a women in the dentist office for how rude my dad's behavior is towards her and I was caught by my dad and he hits me, do you guys see it as abuse or as him disciplining me? To my dad, I was talking about him and disrespecting him behind his back. I know that when he hits me he's letting his anger out and probably thinks I won't do it again. @holly I am seventeen @Fred I am disciplined and have been ever since I moved in with my dad at age seven. I was obedient as a child and in my early teens because I was scared of him but as an older teen I am obedient not because he scares me but because I know better than to upset someone who's bigger than me and is violent. I see it as abuse and can not wait to leave for college far away from home. This is not how I want younger children to be raised. @Ikl mom doesn't do anything she just watches and hides her feelings @ikl I did try to call the cops but my mom convinced me to not tell anyone because the police can take my brothers and I away and separate us. She doesn't want us to be away from her |

Question: What happens to my parents house if both my parents pass away? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 11:19 AM PST I have 4 siblings, all my siblings are my half siblings. I am the only child between my mother and father. If both my parents pass away, will I directly inherits the home? They want to put my name in the title. Is it necessary for us to go throughout the legal process and add my name to the title or should they just make a will. |
Question: Parents: How could I better explain this to my mom? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 11:10 AM PST I am 18 years old, and I have a phobia of doctors. Well to make a long story short, I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled, and I have to get braces on my bottom teeth. I don't know how to make this sound even remotely nice, but I do NOT want my mom there. I do so much better without her. It's not that I don't love her, want her support, ect. I just feel more brave when I can't hide behind my mom. I told my mom "Please do not get offended or take this as me not wanting you to be here for me, but I would really like if *my friend* could take me to the dentist. It's nothing against you, I just think it would make me more comfortable to do this alone." Well, that went awfully wrong, and she was very offended. She kept saying I was too dependent on her, and that I'm spending too much time with my friends and it's making me think I can do stuff on my own, and that maybe I should experience this excruciating pain on my own. I already am trying my VERY best not to back out of going because I'm so scared. What she said did not help, and the only reason I'm still going through with it is because my best friend convinced me I will be okay. I need my mom to understand it's nothing against her, I just need to be alone for this. |

Question: My daughter is a slut and is out of control!? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 10:43 AM PST My daughter is such a slut and i hate it!! As a father you want your daughter to remain pure and to always respect herself but my daughter does the exact opposite! Her friends come showing me videos of her making out with guys or drinking and it seems like im the only one bothered about it! Her mother just laughs and says shes young and to let her live but just because she's almost 17 doesnt mean anything!! I cant even discipline her cause she doesnt listen to anything nobody else says she has already had two pregnanies and has had to take plan b (if it was up to me she wouldve kept the baby) any advice i dont wanna leave my family but... |

Question: Can I get my mom arrested for being such a hippocrit and not living by what she preaches? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 09:51 AM PST Long story but my mom jjoined a mom and baby group maybe a month ago this was. At the mom/baby group, she met a woman with an autistic 13 year old son. She decided me and this kid should hang out. I find that very offensive. I have mild learning difficulties and so she thought we'd be a perfect fit! It's like a man in a wheelchair becoming friends with a man with no arms and their whole friendship being based on disability. Life doesn't work like that. We were forced to hang out at my house twice and it was pure torture. We had nothing in common and he was bad at conversation (ovizly). He just said the small talk lines they teach you at special school (I know cuz I went to one) such as "how's your family?" "What are your hobbies?" Dull! When I complained that we couldnt be friends due to differences, she be all like "he needs a friend, don't be mean blah blah' and still tries to make us hang out again. like she mentions it a lot. So recently I spoke to a homeless woman and I decided her and my mom should hang out. I gave this homeless women my moms number. Well today she finally called my mom. Well my mom went crazy at me! Being very unappreciative and yelling . Said she'll have to change her number. Is this not the most hippocritical thing ever? This woman needs a friend just like Theo does. I want her arrested I hate hippocrits and I think it should be illegal |
Question: My parents are making a big deal out of my sexuality? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 09:50 AM PST Recently I came out as bisexual to my parents and now they are making a huge deal out of it. Mum keeps saying things like "My baby's bi" "My baby likes girls and guys" "I have a bisexual baby". My dad said that I was bisexual on Facebook literally straight after coming out. I was meant to come out on Facebook by my own post, and not his. He even wants my "coming out story" to be in the local newspaper, and my mum does as well. My sister is the only one in the family who isn't taking this out of proportion. When she found out she said "well done", smiled and hugged me. She didn't react my parents at all. I've even mentioned several times to them that it isn't a big deal, but they say, "Oh, but it is!" Why are they making a big deal out of my bisexuality? |
Posted: 25 Feb 2016 09:49 AM PST Many marriages and families would never have been started if the man and woman had to let their partner meet their parents, or if they had to stay within their culture in order to try and find a mate, or if they had to stick with their ideal height, weight, level of attractiveness, no-exceptions, requirements, or if they had to stick with the same religious/spiritual (or lack thereof) beliefs, and other conventional things like that, right? |
Question: How can I help my mum with money? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 09:45 AM PST My mum is struggling with money- were in benefits but we're living in a pretty good home. We're not totally broke but we have been homeless for a while before. My mum doesn't have a proper job because of her illnesses and constant pains. She used to have a job but then my dad ruined everything and lowered her self esteem. My mum is around 48 and I'm 12 I've been switching off lights, using less water asking for more luxury things but i don't think it's enough. Last year we were still on benefits but we were able to go out shopping but now my mum admits were too broke to do anything so I stay home most of the time which is kind of depressing.... My parents are split up but my dad gives me little bit of money now and then (he hasn't got a lot of money himself) The worst thing is I feel really guilty about everything I've asked for now, I feel guilty for this phone I'm using right now that my mum got me for my birthday. My 3 sisters are struggling financially as well. I want to help get money- not just saving electricity and stuff I want to have a part time job but I'm only 12,there's no lawns to mow and no dogs in the neighborhood that need to be walked. Any ideas on how I can help make my mums life better? (Mentally and financially) Would be much appreciated, thanks. |
Question: It feels like my mum doesn't trust me? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 09:45 AM PST For the past week or so, my mum has invading my privacy all the time. I always catch her reading my texts, checking my Facebook, my Twitter, Instagram etc. I don't know how she's doing it. I don't even have her om Facebook and my settings are so that only friends can see my posts. My Twitter and Instagram are locked/private as well, and my iPhone is also password protected. How does she even know my password? I keep having to change it, but she keeps finding out my password. Why does my mum feel the need to invade my privacy? Does she trust me or not? Question: What is the best way to swap t shirts? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 09:32 AM PST I went to a concert with my dad and I found the seats while he went to get t shirts. I like his shirt better, and want to ask him if he would swap/trade. The thing is he picked out mine for me and I'm not sure if it would upset him, or if he would trade because he wants me to have the shirt I like better. Should I ask him? Or would I be better off "accidentally" wearing his shirt. |

Well, my sister was playing outside in the snow and she was going to come in from the back door and mess up the hard wood so I told her to come in from the front so she doesn't. Although she is in trouble I am in for much worse. My bedroom is DOOR is gone, my phone is gone, she won't buy me clothes despite me needing it, and I have unruly curly hair which I cannot go get cut/taken care of. Question: Are Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the disco concerts crazy/unsafe? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 07:35 AM PST I'm going to a Fall Out Boy concert with my dad on March 4th. I'm not that worried, but Panic! is a little more scary, because my WHOLE family is coming. I'm the youngest, but I know some of the songs are very... unwholesome, to say the least. I'm just asking, if you've ever been to any, how were they, and were they inappropriate? thanks! |

Question: How can I fix things with my mom? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 06:59 AM PST So, this is a bit of a long story, but the jist of it is this: I felt really super sick at work and texted my parents (mom and step dad) about it. They told me not to bother them about it because it was one of those rare nights of silence in my house. (My sister and 3-year-old neice live with us. It s always loud.) I couldn t believe they just wrote me off like that, saying that I only ever complained about being sick when I was at school or work. So, I cried for about 30 minutes at work, finished my duties, and drove to my dad s because my mom had basically told me to **** off. Anyway, flash forward to last night and I come down stairs after spending most the day in my room just to say hi and possibly get something to eat. My mom brings up the whole thing before and keeps saying, "That s all I m going to say." Then saying the same thing once more. She then forces me to stay downstairs where I no longer wish to be and gets mad when I m texting my friend about school the next day. But, it goes on and she basically tells me that if I m not happy in her house, then I should just leave. So I did, and slept at a friends house. I could live with my dad, that s not the issue. I don t want to lose my mom and I don t know how to fix it. I don t even know where to start. Please help. |

Question: How to solve this problem? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 06:35 AM PST I wanted to make my own business on the Internet by making a Minecraft server and also making some stories and guides to sell but first I need to purchase a website and then make my PayPal. I am 13 years old, my Mom won't make me do it, she doesn't trust Internet. You know elderlies don't know much about Internet. I wanted to but she doesn't agree. I did my best at school and got high grades and I told her to give me paypal and then she still doesn't give an exchange for my hard work. Can anyone help me or give advices that can make me understand my mother. |
Question: Difficult time with in-laws!! Please help..? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 06:32 AM PST Well, I've been married for 1.5 yrs. My in-laws insist we call them Each & Every day! Problem comes when we 'miss' calling them. They create such hue & cry & tell my husband: 1. How can you (him &I) not get Some time in the entire day to call? 2. You have changed post marriage! (I was worried if this was true, so asked him how it was before. He said he would call them once in 5-6 days & wouldn't attend calls if he was busy, & they were ok 3. They state all sort of emotional lines to justify their actions-as per them ALL families drift apart when sons get married, & no matter how i try to convince them with my actions, they don't remember it for long & get insecure 4. My husband works in a transferable job & often they say how difficult & unstable that life is (my father-in-law [FIL] worked in the same job & no matter how tough time they had, they keep on demotivating him of what he is proud of! I still try to be calm & patient, but things are getting too much. Need suggestions how to handle all this!! |

Question: Is it me or does my sister in law have some issues? Jealousy? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 06:24 AM PST When I first met my sister in law, she was a pleasure to be around. We used to talk about getting married, having children etc.. I thought it was a bit strange that she had already picked out the haircuts for her future kids and started buying them clothes but whatever. Two years ago, I became pregnant with our first child. I am a bit older and we decided it was the right thing to do. Two months after we announced our pregnancy she scheduled her wedding on our due date. She then tried to convince my husband to attend the wedding and miss the birth of his child. She even suggested that we enduce labor so we could attend. We tried to turn the other cheek and started inviting her over... She said some strange things like how she thought she was pregnant when I made my announcement and could feel the pregnancy in her body. She also said she and her husband were actively trying for children. I suspect the body building supplements she is on aren't helping. Since then she has lied about us to our in laws saying various things. She has also been very standoffish to our daughter. My in laws don't see this and rush to her side but my husband had a serious talk with them about her. Did he do the wrong thing? What is her problem? How do we handle this? |
Question: Is it wrong to help my brother like this????? Question: Is it ok if I stay at a different hotel than my brother? (10 points for best answer)? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 05:50 AM PST I'm 28 and I'll be traveling with my 21 year old brother to LA for 5 days and I'll be meeting up with a friend of mine once I get there he's 41. I really don't want my brother to know about my friend. For the first night I'll be staying at the same hotel with my brother enough though he and I will have different rooms. But I was thinking about staying at a different hotel for the other three days because I don't want my brother being nosy. He's only going with me because my parents don't like me traveling alone. He and I will be staying at the same hotel for the first night. Then I'll be staying at another hotel for the next three nights. |

Question: My mom is ruining her life and mine...Help? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 05:02 AM PST My mom is living a destructive life and doesn't want to admit or change it. When she comes home from work, the first thing she does it plop right in front of the computer, even though she was just on the computer at work, no exercise, cleaning, making dinner, nothing...She also never cooks, she'll stock up on ramen noodles and pasta and will literally live off of that. She eats fast food when she's at work. She claims she hates cooking but really she's lazy. Not to mention she is kinda fat, and complains about it, but does nothing to change it. She smokes a lot as well, and has tried to quit, but has always gone right back to it.She also never cleans, and yells at me when something is dirty like it's my job to be the maid...never cleans her dishes...We also have a horrible relationship, where she'll avoid speaking to me by pretending she is asleep, or leaving home without telling me where she is going. She asks me the same questions about my life that I've told her the answers to about 10 times...she'll ask: What classes are you taking? Did you get into that one class? etc....And she won't go out of her way to try conversing with me either, only if were both in the same room. But if she comes home she won't go out of her way to try and see how everything is going. She doesn't help me with school, work, and all other general life questions. I'll ask how to do something she'll say "Google it." and won't try to help past that. I could go on, help anyone? |
Posted: 25 Feb 2016 04:51 AM PST I don't want to say something like "shut up and quit it" but I want her to see it makes me nervous. |

Posted: 25 Feb 2016 04:43 AM PST My mother and her two brothers had a fight after their mother died last August. I have tried to stay in touch since I am 22 and often do things with my cousins (my two uncles daughters and sons) yet no returned calls from the uncles and their wives and as for the cousins they list things like "we have to be home Thanksgiving weekend" which was never true before. There is obviously discomfort around me due to me being my mother's daughter. I have no siblings and it hurts that the only extended family I have won't communicate (my father left my mother before I was born and never heard from since). This hurts more then anything in my life. What do I do? |

Question: How to disown yourself from your stepfamily? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 03:25 AM PST So...I am in a situation that I need to legally disown myself from my step-family. I was adopted to my biological father's best friend's family when I was 13 and I am legal citizen in America. I wasn't treated very well around his house, but I did not mind because I wanted to stay in US. I am still in contact with my family in Korea, and I do visit them once a year during summer break. The thing is, my family and adopted family got into fight(related to money since my step family ran out of business&other issues) and apparently my stepdad has threaten my family, telling him that since I am under his family, he can do whatever he wants. Of course my father wasn't happy with that, telling me to move out my own and pretty much stay away from his family. I was glad to move out but the thing is, I am still related to him as his son. He won't provide his parental information for my FAFSA either so I am in a situation that I won't be able to go to school starting from next year. I've talked to finance officer at my school and he told me either I need to disown myself from his family because I will need to do it at some point anyways or I need to bring someone who is social worker or teacher&counselor who knows my situation which I can not do because I never told anyone about my situation. I also do not want to be involve in anything in near future with his family just for my safety. I am sorry if my grammar isn't prefect but I really need to figure this out as soon as possible. I am also 21 and will be turning 22 this year. |
Posted: 25 Feb 2016 03:17 AM PST I wouldn't say he is super spoiled, but for lack of better word that's what I used. He's 6 and he's treating like a baby. Our grandparents and aunts and unles will give him toys for no reason all of the time, and he never has any consequences for his actions. Once he punched someone in the face at school but still didn't get in trouble. He also never eats dinner or real food, and my stepmom occasionally makes consequences for this, but never follows through with them. It just really bothers me that this happens and his real adult life won't be like this so him getting this special treatment now is setting him up for a hard life. What should I do? |
Question: I let my wife paint my toenails for fun, showed my Dad as a joke and he flipped out? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 03:13 AM PST Me and my wife have always been best friends, and we do silly stuff together. She got the idea that it would be fun to paint my toenails, so I said what the heck. I showed my Dad in a jokingly way, and said: "Hey you should get Mom to do yours so we match." He then started yelling saying how unmanly that was and how I'm "whipped" and that I need to grow up and "face the facts." I told him I'd do anything in moderation that would make my wife happy and or have fun, and he said: "So you'd kill a man for her too?" Blowing it out of proportion. Now I feel like absolute crap for playfully getting my nails painted by my own wife. |

Question: My sister is babying my nephew I need help.? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 02:59 AM PST My sister is staying with me until she finds a place in my area. Her son (my nephew) is 11 and he literally cries all the time when he does not get what he wants. It is driving me to the point I do not want to go home. I constantly have to tell him to do things over and over. He consumes every television in the house. He will have some show on in one room and another in another room while walking between the two playing on his tablet. If what you cook he does not want to eat he cries or pouts. I have never spanked him but I have raised my voice trying to get him to do what needs to be done and he begins to cry and will run in the bathroom and lock himself in. I have to chase my phone down all the time because he takes it and has downloaded a mine-craft skin maker on there so when people text or call he never even tells me which got me in huge trouble. I put a lock on it and now I cannot even find the phone at all. He will not go outside. He just wants to play on his xbox one or his moms laptop or his tablet and you cannot get him to take a shower to save his life. His face is so broken out from lack of cleaning he has had to the dr about it because of skin infections. My sister refuses to discipline him. She is too buy writing a blog or talking about a new place she wants to travel to. Just to clarify no he does not have an autistic spectrum disorder or adhd. I have no idea how to put up with this while they are here but I am even more afraid of how he is going to turn out. |
