Question: Someone else sharing YOUR good news!? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 09:14 PM PST So I'm kind of annoyed and wanna know if I have the right to be. Me and my boyfriend of 3years are engaged he asked me before he left for boot camp. Week ago his parents stopped by my work and forever reason felt the need to announce I was their sons fiance to my boss (at this point I had not told anyone besides all my family and CLOSE family friends (idk why but I kind of wanted to wait to tell everyone until he comes home for leave in May or well that was my plan) I had asked my boss not to say anything because I wanted to tell people on my own way on my own turms ) well I found out today my toss told one of my coworkers and this person is actually one of my bestfriends/ who I want to be my bridesmaid when we do get married. So It was pretty f*cking awesome she found out the news from someone else. I'm pretty upset I'm not mad at his parents because they didn't know not to say anything yet but my boss I asked him not to! Why would someone feel it's okay to share someone else's good news ? |
Question: How to un-bridesmaid someone? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 09:13 PM PST So I made my two sisters and my fiance's good friend my bridesmaids. But my fiances friend has been really kind of flaky and two-faced as of more recently, and we found out she had been saying bad stuff about him at work (calling him a liar, saying he is controlling, making fun of us slightly for going to church). The only reason I made her a bridesmaid is because she is a longtime friend of my fiance and she kept telling him she reeeeeallly wanted to be one. I thought it was weird since we aren't that close, but since she was a good friend of my fiance (and lack of my own female friends) I asked her to be one. But after how she has been lately I definitely don't want her to be a bridesmaid... my fiance is wanting to hang out with her less too because of how she's been, so it would be weird to have her be a bridesmaid. But how do you un-ask someone to be a bridesmaid??? I am bad with confrontation and I don't even feel close enough to her to talk about the issues I have with her behaviour... How can I do this nicely? |

Posted: 22 Feb 2016 05:24 PM PST We re looking for places that are warmer, not incredibly expensive, but you know more for adults to relax and have fun! Just hoping for people who had an amazing experience and want to give recommendations! |
Question: Dress color advice for mother of the bride dress? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 05:03 PM PST My wedding colors are fuchsia, black and white. My Maid of honor and bridesmaids will be wearing fuchsia but I am not sure what the mother of the bride dress color should be. She doesn't want to wear black and not sure she wants to match the bridesmaids. I'm thinking cream is too close to white (and of course I will be the only one wearing white). Is there someone out there who can color coordinate and give me some good advice? |

Question: What's a good free photo hosting and sharing site? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 03:30 PM PST I'm going to be setting up a photo booth for my buddy's wedding with the pictures available online within a day or two so guests can see them and even download them if they want to at their original quality and without watermarks. For redundancy I'll use two or three different sites. I want to have cards or slips of paper at the reception with the web addresses of where the photos will be so guests can see the pictures soon afterward without having to ask about where to see them or using social media. I tried Photobucket but the address of a shared album is too long and complex to type into a browser. I want something simple like: sharingsite{dot}com/couplesname. I suppose I could use TinyURL so guests only have to deal with short & simple addresses. |
Question: Why is My fiancée so frustrated ? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 09:43 AM PST Our wedding is in one week starting Thursday and my fiancée is frustrated like crazy I had some of her gfs take her to a spa it worked for a couple days but she's so stressed and everything and the wedding is in order she told me she has her dress picked out and I have my tux and stuff the church is ready a lot of the people are on there way to town today so everything's good I'm nervous but I'm probably more excited but she's so stressed and frustrated I try to tell her to lay down and I literally clean the house and have a hot meal waiting for her whenever I'm off and she's at work and she aprreciates I can tell and then it's right back to stressing and biting her nails and snapping at me so I just leave her alone it's getting worse the closer the wedding . And idk what to do |
Question: Is it still considered inappropriate to wear black or white to a wedding? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 09:27 AM PST Black used to be only reserved for funerals and white was the color only a bride was supposed to wear but now I see women wearing black dresses and white dresses to weddings! Makes me nuts--especially wearing white to a wedding. |
Question: Anyone in Wichita Falls, Texas know of a wedding venue that isn't very expensive? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 08:49 AM PST My fiance and I are getting married in July but we don't have much to put down on a place and we are having trouble finding an inexpensive place. Any suggestions would be great! |
