He's African American. Like last time I saw him he jokingly said, "I need to call my baby mother and check up on my son." He doesn't have a son. Posted: 13 Feb 2016 07:18 PM PST There's a guy who works at a casual restaurant I go to pretty much everyday to order a salad (place has AMAZING salads, but that's beside the point.) He's fairly new still (I think he's been there for a couple of months) and this has really only been going on for about a month. Anyway, he's cute & every time I walk in, he always makes my salad for me (I order the same thing everyday lol) There's a window that leads to the back room where employees can see to the front when customers walk in to order. Every time I'm waiting to order, he's (most of the time) by that window & sees me and comes out to help. When he's making my salad, he'll glance up once in a while and smile. Before, if another employee came over to help, he would say, "I got it, I got it, I got it", but now, it's almost like the rest of them he'll help me & let him take care of it. Once I ordered & someone else was helping, he looked at me from the back room and I looked back, he gave me a big smile and waved & when I'm waiting at the counter to pay, he'll continue to look at me (not in a creepy way.) :) I notice he doesn't do this with other female customers & only comes to the front to help me then leaves to do whatever he was working on in the back room. We've made small talk, but not much yet, but I want to talk more! When he's talking with his coworkers, he's kind of loud, but when he's with me, his voice changes and he gets a quieter. At the end of the second day he asked if I wanted to get coffee with him. Of course I said that would be grea, he said he would text when he got out of class. So the next day he wasn t in class, but texted me he over slept, at the time I was in class so I didn t respond. At the end ofclass he texted asking if he missed anything, knowing I was heading home to sleep I didn t text him. After that he never texted me to let me know what time I should meet him. She and I started talking and I liked her a lot. Anyway, one thing lead to another, and we were with each other every day during the summer. During the school year my grades began to drop(i'm a junior) and i told her i needed to focus on them. About one month later i found out she was with someone else, which hurt a lot. He ended up being an absolute jerk and cheated on her and once again we got back together, but not officially. We've been kind of talking again for about a month and a half now, but her friend absolutely hates my guts because she likes me. He'd been making the relationship really hard on her and she didn't know if we were going to work out. Last week i found out she likes another guy now, and I don't know how to deal with it and what it means. Last night we were at a friends going away party. I saw her tell some of her friends that she and I were done and all i heard was, "I feel terrible." Later on in the night we were on the couch and she was really tired. She had her head on my shoulder and was nodding off, but when she was awake, every so often, we'd make eye contact. Long eye contact and she'd glance down at my lips and at one point she just stared at them. I don't know it maybe she was really tired, or if she still has feelings. We own a house together and its great but I don't wanna be with him anymore, why? He's too clingy, doesn't pay any attention to his daughter, and he has bad hygiene. I'll admit I jumped WAY to fast in this relationship and I want to taste freedom. I want to presue my career as a cartoonist and I've been ties down once before I don't want it for a while again. He talks about marriage and having kids with me and honestly I'm just not ready for that type of commitment. I just wanna focus on getting a lifestyle for me. So my plan to get out was to eventually save up for AIT in San Francisco and eventually call everything off with this person. I feel somewhat stupid for letting this go on for a while we broke up last year in July of 2015 and I honestly should've left it there. I have issues with guys and now that we own our own place I see SO MANY flaws that I just can't handle. He likes to play the he said she said type of game too, he can be so childish HE BARELY takes care of himself as it is. My ex husband was the same way and I just don't want it. And don't get me wrong I love the little girl Shea great but I can't even handle having a child right now and his baby mama drama just stresses me the F out! She is HELLA childish too. So much so that she would always turn to the classroom entrance to see if I was coming. There been couple of times when she will give shy smiles/smirks when we see each other I look at her once and she broke the eye contact and look down at the ground. She was with a friend one day at the school lobby and she kept looking at me and out of nowhere they both ran away giggling. The thing that throws me off is she will act like she does not see or has a serious face when we see each other. The last couple of semester we did not had any classes but we would see each other in the hallways. I got out of the bathroom and and I turn and saw her. | Question: Was I played or just stupid? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 06:53 PM PST Falling for someone's flirtations and knowing they were in a relationship. I was led on. The constant stares and flirtatious grins. After some time went by I decided to just drop everything, let go of my feelings, and befriend this woman. When I found out she was leaving the job we were on, I decided to befriend her and get to know her before she left. I invited her out to eat with me. I had no other ulterior motives at all. I just wanted to bury the hatchet. I told her if the day I set didn't work let me know. When I sent the text she immediately replied and said her and her boyfriend was going out of town. I feel very dumb and so stupid. What should I do at this point? Mature answers only please. Otherwise, I will ignore them. BTW: I am a woman too. |

He goes to another school then me so I barely get to see him but were almost in a relationship. I tried to hangout with him a couple days ago, but my father said he doesn't trust me alone with a guy. I'm not gonna screw up again and I want to show him I won't. My mom won't even let me hangout with friends but my dad is giving me the option to hang with him if I have other friends with me.
