Question: Where should I get married? Posted: 27 Feb 2016 04:26 PM PST I'm getting married next January. We've decided on a super small gathering (20 people). Some friends of ours have generously offered their house for the reception, but we don't know where to get married. We are not members of any church, and that is a requirement to get married at many churches around here. A friend of mine is going to marry us, so I don't want to go to the courthouse or justice of the peace. Outside is not a possibility since it will be in January. Any other suggestions? The ceremony is only going to last about 20 minutes, so I don't want to rent a hall or anything. We are considering the friend's house for the wedding too. It's a beautiful big house, but no one room is really big enough to seat 20 people in rented chairs. |
Question: Do people generally have sex on their wedding night? Posted: 27 Feb 2016 01:20 PM PST I'll be getting married in two months. Do people generally have sex on their wedding night or do they wait until the honeymoon. I know it's whatever a person decides to do, but I was curious about this. Also, I'm a virgin, my fiancé isn't. Is it a little weird if I become nervous leading up/right before sex? |

Question: A friend of mine wants me to pay for her thank you gifts on her wedding.? Posted: 27 Feb 2016 11:58 AM PST Hello, I have a friend who is getting married and because the wedding is a little over the top, she has asked friends and relatives to help her with the expenses. At first, she came to me and asked if I could help her buy bottles for each table. I was like sure because I know how much she is spending. However, now she told me she wants me to buy the bottles as thank you gifts to the people who helped her out in the wedding. I don't know how to feel about that. I didn't mind helping her out, but I think it is rude to ask someone else to get your thank you gifts. I mean shouldn't the thank you gifts come from you not someone else? Am I wrong to think that? No rude comments please. |
Question: What do you think of this style of wedding dress for first time older bride-to-be? Posted: 27 Feb 2016 07:08 AM PST I've never liked sequins, lace or big ball gowns. I'm a 43 year old first time bride, and I am thinking about having something similar very made for my July wedding. I've worn a dress similar to this, and I looked great in it. The dress would be made of organic cotton, in a champagne hue. What do you think? Question: Would you wear a dress that looked like this for your wedding? Posted: 27 Feb 2016 05:52 AM PST This is the link to the dress: http://www.dressale.com/fairytale-strapless-quinceanera-gown-featuring-cascading-rainbow-ruffles-p-43881.html currency1=USD&track=g_dr_us&gclid=CIzI3cWKmMsCFZCIaQodouEBbw I was looking at dresses online, and I came across this dress. Oh my word, I wouldn't have worn a dress like this for my wedding. It reminds me too much of a peacock or a rainbow. And to top if off it's fluffy, round, and very bright. I wouldn't be caught in a dress like this. |
