Well last year this girl started a bunch of drama and made alot of people not like us because of rumors. This year, just recently, they have been making up so many lies about us! This girls friend messaged me and told me to stop bullying her friend, even tho I never said ANYTHING to her. I litterally have not said a single word to her. Well they are making up this lie that I'm sending rude and threatening messages to her, but I'm not! This girl is freaking out at me and my friend for absolutely nothing and she's telling people at my school that I sent these things and I didn't. They keep saying "we have the messages right here" and they called my friend an idiot and they said I'm a liar. Nice right. Well I dont know how to make them stop. I think maybe this girl that hates us made a fake email with my name and is sending stuff to herself then pretending it's from me. I'm pretty sure that's what's happening. I asked her to show me the messages and she claims she deleted them. She's lying and turning people away from me what should I do?? 10 points best answer!! |

But I live in the outskirts of this city, maybe 15 km away. There is a group of ~15 people here, who are my age and always hang out together. They are poorly raised, that fact stands out quite a bit, so I guess it's entertaining for them to always pick on people who are not their friends. I have had a rough past, which I think is the reason to my low self-esteem when I'm not around my friends from the city. The problem is so bad, that I even try to avoid at all costs riding the bus home, because these guys are there too and they make fun of me every time I go home with the bus. I don't know what is happening, all these friends, who are "famous", friends with everybody or just people who are generally respected, love me the way I am and accept me, but suddenly the people from where I live are so mean to me, and I really don't know why, it's not like I walk with **** on my face or ***** drawn on my forehead, and I don't have any past with them too. Please someone help me, it's getting out of hand, to the point where I am too afraid to use the bus to go home, because they are always there. I've known him since my freshman year and we've been best friends from about the start. He's on the dean's list every year. He wanted to be a high school English teacher but soon after doing his student teaching decided it wasn't for him. Then for about a month, all he wanted to talk about was law school. He signed up for the LSAT prep course, then suddenly dropped out and then it was he wants to join the Navy. He's also had some personal setbacks. His mother died in October and then his fiancee broke off their engagement around Christmas. So going home for Christmas break he looked like hell. He always had a sharp personal appearance and he really let himself go. He didn't shave, let his hair grow out, but didn't really comb it. He used to wear khakis and oxfords to class, but started going to class in sweats and tees. I was really worried about him, but when he came back from Christmas break he was more or less his old self. I'm thinking that joining the Navy isn't about a career option. (He will be entering as enlisted making about minimum wage--probably less considering he gets a set monthly sum). I'm thinking it's him thinking that his life is falling apart and the military looks like structure and filling your place and not having to make your own decisions. At first I thought this was just a phase he was going through like law school, and he'd move on to something else. But he's really serious about it. SO my question is: Do I tell him to take a moment and think this through or do I let him make what I think will be the biggest mistake of his life. |

I'm just curious as to why I'm not in the popular crowd. I attended a very prestigious boarding school right on the beach. People always ask me where I was before I went to the school l'm at now. When I tell people where I went they are always fascinated. It sounds crazy but where I'm from that is like the ultimate social status. So I made a great first impression. People always tell me (and I would say so myself) I'm very attractive, I model. I only wear the popular brands. I have hair that most girls can only dream of, like it's reeaaaaaaaaaally nice. Like if I cut it off to make a wig it would cost a ton. I'm the captain of the varsity volleyball team. I've posed with tons of celebs on Instagram. It goes on and on. I'm everything you'd dream of being. I'm not this conceded in real life. I'm humble and I'm friends with everyone. I compliment everyone. The only people who don't like me are these girls in the popular group (The guys are really into me though,) They're all basic and they don't have too many friends. The trip is more than an hour and she wants to go again tomorrow. It's my last day of vacation tomorrow and I would really like to spend it at home considering the trip isn't very convenient. And no one have text me first. Even sometime during the pass time, I walked to them to say hello...that it. I feel like I am alone. I have a seizure disorder, so I can't drink nor drive. My friends drive me to and from work and campus, so because of this, I rarely go out and socialize. My friends know, and they beg me to go with them to just hang out, but I hate being the only one drinking. I also don't drink soda. I try to avoid carbonated drinks and caffeine is a seizure trigger. I feel really boring because I can't drink, and I've tried finding different hobbies, but nothing seems to distract me. How can I seem less boring without drinking? |

I'm planning to be a pharmacist. Anyway, when they drink, they don't get drunk. They have done so much for me. They have driven me to and from work. They mean the world to me, and they want to do something nice for me again. Lately, she's been saying things that were a bit racist. We were talking about a movie and I say that I love the movie. She says, "You can't watch that movie; it's for white people." I decided not to make a big deal about it. About a week later, we're talking about the election and she says, "Aren't black people supposed to vote for black people?" I let her know that annoyed me.The next day, she takes a picture of my hand on snapchat. The caption is, "Race". I again tell her that it bothers me. She always feels the need to call my hair "weave", but I try to shrug it off. After the snapchat thing, she promised that she wouldn't do or say anything like that. Last week, we were staying after school for rehearsal for a show. I had some food in a sandwich bag that I left on my seat when I went on stage. This other girl swears that it's hers. My friend speaks up and says, "It's obviously Tatiana's. Look at the ghetto bag." I was really upset and I stormed off. I asked my other friend, who happens to be my only black friend at this mostly white school if I could sit at her lunch table tomorrow, instead of with that friend. She said yeah. The only thing is, I have been friends with the first girl for two years. We've had some good times. This has never been an issue. For my age group, i have matured rapidly this year and a lot of my old friends are starting to seem very unrelated to me. Recently, i have been having trouble talking to my friends who i could once tell anything to. Now they are constantly trying to annoy me or get a reaction out of me no matter what. Sometimes its as little as calling me "gay" or a "fag" whenever i do or say something, or as big as knocking all my books over for no reason when changing classes. They also always try to embarrass me at school and on social media. They also always tag me in pictures of ugly animals and say "hey its u" and comment mean things on my posts. Whenever i tell them to stop or ask them why they did that, they respond by saying something like "dude u have no chill" or "because u overreact." I dont have any anger issues and i dont spaz out when they annoy me and i dont have any history of that kind of stuff so i dont know where its coming from. Most people in my grade know me as pretty chill and fun to talk to. I go to a small school so it is pretty hard to avoid them. This has been happening since around October. Can someone please tell me why this is happening and some advice on what to do about it? Its really getting quite annoying. Thanks :P |

Posted: 15 Feb 2016 12:35 PM PST My two friends asked me if I wanted to hangout next Saturday with them and I thought it was an amazing idea, the thing is, they wanna go roller skating and I honestly have no interest in going. I know how to skate, but the place is crappy, you hardly ever get a chance to socialize, and since I have an expanded in, there's hardly any food there that I can eat. I'd much rather go somewhere that I'd enjoy like a movie then we can go get food afterwards or something (even though I did say I want a social thing we can all do) but roller skating just doesn't interest me. I don't know what to tell them and I really do wanna hang out its just that I wanna do something that I'm happy with too. Btw they're making it sound for sure like it's all planned out and all j have to do is ask my Mom for permission. I'm ignoring them since they both flaked on me last weekend. A few weeks ago I had to take a test online for one of my classes. I ended up doing really bad on it because I couldn't concentrate with the tv on. I now have to take another test for another class. This test is due by midnight tomorrow. School was cancelled today because of the snow so I have a bunch of time to take it, but my roommate currently has the tv on and the door open. The library is closed since school was closed. Tomorrow I have 2 classes and a boxing class to go to at the gym. My roommate only has one class tomorrow so she'll be in the dorm pretty much all day. After that,she changed her page to just "message" and "if you know so and so, send him/her a message. | Question: My male coworker constantly is making fun of me. What is going on here? Posted: 15 Feb 2016 11:34 AM PST Okay so I am a 28 year old woman who has been married for several years. A male coworker who is 32 and I are good work friends. We get along and have similar senses of humor and agree on many perspectives. However, randomly it seems, he insults me, in terms of the school I went to, intelligence....he even makes fun of my husband and calls me a lesbian. I have no problem with people's choice of sexual orientation but I work in an industry where most women get ahead by going up a boob size whereas I do not put off a flirtatious or overly 'feminine' vibe. I'm normal looking- about 135 5'6 with long brown hair and blue eyes so i am having trouble where this coworker is deriving these comments from as well as his others. I typically get along great with others and have never had this issue with a coworker. I do not insult him or belittle him so I really don't understand the comments. He seems to think they are funny; I have told him on several occasions that he crossed lines verbally and his comments are rude. But then, he is super nice a good friend again. I don't get it. He is single and he makes comments a lot about my husband fairly frequently which I find odd. Thoughts? I get that it's wrong and dumb. It honestly should hurt my feelings more than it does. I sort of don't give a **** because it says more about him than it does me and I know who I am. However- I'm curious a little about the why, the thought behind it. Is this like a sexual thing? For a male to want to dominate a female even if it's verbally? Is this like a threatened thing? I'm just more curious than anything about why males do this sort of thing. |

My best friend started to follow her and was rude to me. I ditched them to hang out with new friends but now they are always talking to them when they hardly did when I was friends with them. |
| Question: I have friends but feel alone? Posted: 15 Feb 2016 11:21 AM PST I am a sophomore in high school (guy) and I have friends but it seems like we never hangout unless I make the plans to. Even my closest friend doesn't even try to make plans with me. My group of friends also makes plans without me, I shrug it off when they talk about t at school but it only does bug. The weird thing is, is that I am more popular than everyone in my circle of friends but I honetly don't care about popularity if this is how it makes me feel. Something I work realy hard is fashion and creative projects but I feel like I can't meet anybody who shares the same interest as me which is fashion. I just feel really lonely but people think Im not lonely at all which makes me feel like people don't know me at all.. |

Posted: 15 Feb 2016 11:18 AM PST So last week my grandma passed away and I was in the middle of drama rehearsal with my group of friends when I found out. I went outside and my friends came out to comfort me except for this one friend, let's call him Peter. Now Peter is a very close friend of mine so I thought it weird he didn't come outside. Later that day, all of my friends texted me and called me to tell me that they were sorry and that they loved me, except for Peter. Hell, I left the country for the funeral and other people who I barely talk to texted me saying how sorry they were. Even peters ex who doesn't like me or Peter texted me. While I was away, all my friends asked when I was coming back and planned to see me when I came back, except for Peter. I'm back now and Peter hasn't said a word to me, which hurts me because he 'was' a really close friend who I care for so much so I just think it's weird he hasn't reached out to me in this time of grief. Should I say to him how I'm feeling? |

And then she said it again but she raised her vioice the second time she said it so why did she raise her voice her voice the second time she said it? |

I only have like 2 close friends... one of them is on vacation in Florida, and the other one is busy that day. (Plus, she lives too far away). I feel so sad, I have no plans tomorrow except for my family buying me a cake. They don't even get me presents or anything. And I know my brothers will make fun of me tomorrow for being friendless. What makes me sad is the fact that tomorrow will feel just like any other day. It's supposed to be a special day, with parties and presents and everyone treating you special, but tomorrow will just be a normal boring day at home for me. What should I do? :( |

I have no friends no one to talk to.She doesn't let me have my cousins over because she wants me to do my work ,and I feel lonely. My mom pressures me to hurry and finish my classes, so I can complete two school years in one year I have tried talking to her about but she doesn't care .She says that I should be happy that I am not in Public school anymore getting bullied and that I can finish school early. Also she makes me clean the house do the laundry and cook about everyday . Like she told me to clean the kitchen yesterday and I did . I had cleaned and organized the pantry the cabinets and the fridge e.t.c .Later that day she went behind me and messed up the kitchen and I got upset and she told me to clean it again. |

It makes me feel left out and lonely. These people come to me with their problems but don t ever want to share in their joy and happiness. |

And then she said it again but she raised her voice like she was almost yelling and I had just got done telling her about some movies that I had watched that were suspense movies where people became obsessed with other people so why did she like raise her voice when she asked me the second time? Posted: 15 Feb 2016 10:30 AM PST I don't stay on campus and it seems like everybody either have their friend groups from high school, campus residence or have made their own friends. I feel so left out. I joined a 2 clubs but they haven't had any meetings yet and it is volunteer clubs because i am dismal at sports. How to make friends? Should I just wait it out? I try just talking to people but then the next day in the same lecture i won't see them because the lectures are so full. I am a girl and in our country we just started the new college year. |

Posted: 15 Feb 2016 10:16 AM PST I've a got a male-to-female transgendered friend who's very shy and anxious about walking into a public restroom. She's really afraid that she'll get beaten up/insulted by the others. A week ago,we went to the mall together and we shoot in there a couple of hours.At one point,my friend told me that she needs to use the bathroom,but she's too scared to go into the ladies's room since she might not look 'feminine' enough.So she decided to hold it in.When we left the mall,I told her we should visit a gas station since there are not too many people going in those places usually.Once we got there,the owner if the gas station said rudely to my friend : "Hey,are you a guy or a girl?" She gotvso mad,we left instantly My friend was almost crying.She made it at home eventually. I fell so sorry for my friend.She keeps denying going to some places,unless she knows there are gonna be one-singled bathroom.She told me she will never walk into a gender-segregated toilet again.She even stopped drinking liquids when she knows we are going to parties or anything like that. I think this is not good for her health.Not drinking water can easily make you dehydrate yourself.Also,holding in pee for so long can cause urinary tract infections. What should I do to help her? |

She is also the nicest person you will ever know. I am lucky to be able to call her my good friend. She is a volunteer math tutor at our high school. Her tutoring has enabled a lot of people to graduate from high school on time. Her tutoring classes are usually full of mostly guys. She has the unique ability to make math fun and the guys REALLY ENJOY and learn. Mostly they enjoy her questions that make them think. For example, she will say "If I sleep with 2 guys every day, how many guys will I have slept with in July"? Or if I kiss a guy the square root of 9 times, how many times did I kiss him? The guys in the class JUST LOVE THIS. They often bring cake and cookies to have after the class is over. Us gals think they are doing that just to flirt. What do you think? Are they? And if they are flirting, is there anything wrong with that? |

Me, Sarah, and our other friend Meredith were like a trio. We were never apart, the three of us never did anything without each other. But for the past 5-6 months, everything's been different between us and Sarah. Me and Meredith are still the best of friends, but Sarah barely talks to us anymore. It all started when she found a boyfriend and she spent all of her time with him and started hanging with a bad crowd. She now hangs out with potheads and her boyfriend's friends. We always text her and ask her to hang out, but she either ignores the text or makes an excuse. And when she does hang out with us (maybe once or twice a month), she leaves after like an hour or two to be with her boyfriend and his friends. We used to hang out daily, multiple times a day. We all go to the same college, so it's not like it's hard to find time to hang out. She's started smoking pot, and drinking. We've talked to her several times about it, and she always says she's really sorry, that she still loves us, and that she's just 'going through a lot right now' and that she promises she'll make more time for us. But that still hasn't happened. She was our best friend, and I miss her. Should we give up on her, is this friendship doomed? What do you think? |

He would joke around about hanging out, hooking up, going on dates, but he would never follow through. Then one day we were finally alone together and we cuddled and talked for hours about our lives. After that I grew to care about him because be both come from bad family lives:/ we continued talking and hanging out etc. So since me and Evan became so close, I also became really good friends with his friends. Eventually Evan would pick me up and a lot of times we would go to his friends house and hang out. Well two weeks ago he slowly stopped talking to me and started acing weird. Then I found out he was hooking up with this girl Sophie and I felt really upset. He seems like the type of guy that will never fully commit to any girl and I'm over it. Basically I decided to just do my own thing and ignore him at school but it's really difficult! Every weekend HIS FRIENDS invite me to come over to their house when Evan is there! Then they send me snapchats of Evan doing dumb stuff and it's so annoying. I'm supposed to be going over to Evans friend's house today, and I think he's going to be there:/ I don't know what to do! I can't move on if I keep hanging out with his friend group! At the same time, I really good friends with his friends and I like hanging out with them:/ what should I do?!!! I know if I keep talking to Evan he's just gonna play me... |
