Keep in mind that we didn't go to the same school by choice, we both applied to this school and when we found out the other was going, then we decided to room together. Anyway, for the past two weeks or so, everything that happens causes a confrontation between us and it's getting to where I don't even wanna be around her. She's my best friend and I love her but what do I do? |

This guy rushes out to help me almost every time & says to his coworkers "I got it, I got it." He looks up while making me my salad and smiles and when he hands me my sandwich to bring up to the cashier, he says "have a good day!", smiles & looks at me a little longer. Once, all he did was turn around, stare and smile at me for a long time as I said "thank you!" Whenever another employee is helping me, he watches me from the back and if I notice him, he'll wave to me/smile and sometimes he'll be walking up front putting something away and keep eye contact w/ me and smile. When I was ordering the other day, he started talking to me in Spanish a little and laughed b/c I was confused lol. He'll ask me questions once in a while like "how was your weekend?" and he'll tease me a little b/c he knows my exact order every time. He doesn't treat other female customers this way, at least from what I've seen & doesn't smile and laugh like he does when he's helping me. I still wonder though if he's just being friendly because I'm a regular customer or he's flirting? |
| Posted: 24 Feb 2016 04:11 PM PST So the real me is crazy and fun and interesting, but around some people I act super reserved and quiet...especially adults and teachers. I'm really quiet around people that don't know me very well and when I talk to them I just laugh and nod and smile and don't really carry on a conversation. But when I'm with people my age...teenagers even if I don't know them I'm crazy and super fun. In school I have a lot of good friends and no one really dislikes me. But even my history teacher was saying how I'm bizarre but hide it really well. Some times I do need to tone down myself so people don't think I'm completely insane. I don't want to hide it but I do. Teachers think I'm very quiet usually and hear about stuff I did from their other students and are confused that I would do that. I feel like I'm wearing a mask around people like that but don't want to. How do I take it off? |

We gave him hints that we didn't really want to talk to him because all he did was make up stories for attention etc. He was a terrible friend however when he realised we didn't want to be friends with him, he targeted me. I was probably his best friend from the group and I couldn't stand to be around him so when he can near me j would walk away, sometimes ignore him etc. He went to my teacher and claimed he was being bullied and I was bullying him, my teacher who already hated me for whatever reason has constantly mentioned this but whenever I tell him the truth, he ignores me and I get in trouble for answering back. I am now labelled as a bully even though I haven't talked to this guy in like 6 months and when one of my friends annoyed him, I GOT BLAMED. According to my teacher, I am responsible and the teacher told my friend not to talk to me because we were making plans to bully this boy. I went to the teacher in private after school to explain the situation and GOT IN TROUBLE for lying about not having bullied this boy. I don't know what to do, my mum will not help and only my friends understand what is going on and despite them backing me up, I got blamed by my teacher again for bringing 'witnesses' What can I do? And I fully understand that they are just trying to protect me the best they could, and that anything can happen, and I love them for that. But I just want to celebrate my friend s birthday. It s at his house, and we are just planning to play video games and play capture the flag and other activities outside. There are going to be other girls there also, but there are going to be some guys from our class also. There is going to be adult supervision. I also recently about a few month ago, went to another male birthday party. For some reason, all of the girls ended up not showing up. So it was just me and the rest guys. (About 5 others.) I had a blast, we went bowling, and played video games. I enjoyed it. There were 2 parents watching us also. However, when I told my parents I was the only girl that came, they got very mad at me, and said I was lucky that I wasn t raped. They yelled about a bunch of other stuff, that I don t want to type. How do I convince them to let me go? I m not friends with a lot of boys to find a boyfriend or get attention or anything related to that, I just have a lot in common with them, and it s fun because we all have the same sense of humor. Posted: 24 Feb 2016 03:45 PM PST so heres what happened me and my friend(friend 1) had an argument but we kinda got over it. however some more drama happened when her other friend(friend 2) told me some lies. basically friend 2 told me lies and said stuff like "ugh I'm just using friend 1 but don't tell her" and she knew that i would tell friend 1, so when i did it i didn't it know it was a lie, friend 1 believed me at first and got into a fight with friend two but then they made up again. Then friend 2 tells friend 1 lies about me as well and friend 2 tells me lies about friend 1 as well. i told friend 1 about the second lie and i still didn't know it was a lie back then, friend 1 called me a liar and started spreading rumors and gossiping about me behind my back. Then i found out that friend 2 was telling lies so i tried telling friend 1 that friend 2 was telling lies to both of us this whole time but now she doesnt believe me because she thinks I'm the bad guy and liar now. help! there is so much drama! |

They love my sister so much and leave me in the gutter. Took me out of school so now I'm homeschooled with no friends. I hate my life. Every day the make fun of me, tell me I'm a freak. They ignore me and treat me like garbage. My grandma, my best friend and the only one who understands me says I changed and she doesn't even know me. My grandpa said I had a "beer belly". My relatives question the hideos mole on my face. The world hates me and I know it. I cut myself all the time and I want to die. My parents are taking away my computer which is music which is the reason I live. They say screamo is for freaks and goths. I hate my looks. I have this huge mole on my chin, I look like a troll. My mom won't let me do my eyebrows so they are huge and almost a uni brow. My face is littered in freckles and i'm a huge nerd. I have not one friend and the one I used to have dissed me and said she had other friends and didn't need me! But I get why, I would probably be embarrassed to have a friend who looked liked me. I made a couple of friends during the first months that I got there. But there's this girl that I cannot make my mind about. When she's okay she's a great friend but from time to time she says downright mean things and then she covers them with claiming her love for us and saying that's just the way her humor works. Anyway that's not the main problem about her. She's constantly lying about the stupidest things like saying she paid 15$ to go somewhere when she got there for free but then she's like "Hahaha I don't believe that you actually believed me!" And then I'm like sorry for trusting you then! Those things shes lying about are not worth picking a fight over but they make me feel stupid because later she admits that she actually lied and makes me look like a fool for believing her! Also I've noticed that she has being planning her lies very well there's always a plot to them and they're never spontaneous! Now I don't trust her but I don't know if I have a right to stay mad? I don't know what to do with her I keep thinking that it would look stupid to argue for such a little thing. When I ask people for help, they agree to help and then they just up and leave. It feels like I'm alone even when among friends. My friend who calls me her best friend has been friends with me for about a year. She dated me for two months and then broke up with me at random. I didn't care because it felt like nothing had changed around the time. l Well recently I may have wrote her a letter and told her I loved her, as a friend, and may have been in love with her. I thought that it would've been ok because she randomly to me that she loved me, which I assumed was as a friend, when we were playing one day in a teacher's classroom two months after she broke up with me. Boy did I make a mistake, I think. She is more distant than usual. When ever I try to hang out with her she'll sometimes say yes and sometimes say no but when we do hang out it usually starts with the both of us play fighting and end with her teeth in my shoulder, her biting hard. When ever I say something she always makes this weird face at me that she does direct towards anyone else. It looks like the face of disgust. What does it mean? (BTW not trying to say this is the reason or mean anything mean behind it but she has anxiety and severe depression which lately hasn't been affecting her. I know that she has it because it keeps her from coming from class sometimes.) Any tips? |

She's an alcoholic and makes irresponsible decisions when intoxicated (DUI/Slept With Minor/Kicked out of Happy Hours/left me at club to sleep with random, etc). She has already struck out with me but I allow her back in. Behind all the apologies and pleas, I've just never had a friend like her. I'm girly, love to drink, and she's my match. Very out going and money is never a concern. I am no angel either, but have higher priorities and morals. I never worry about a shame "You were so drunk you.. blah blah blah" intervention with her. We have a good time. She just reminds me of myself, we both suffer from depression, same hobbies, etc. Anyways I have a VIP table for my birthday this weekend at a local club she attends often. I've been avoiding telling her (kinda hard, she lives down the street) because I do not want to babysit her as it's my night and I will need to be babysat. She's extremely hardheaded and a flirt who takes a lot of burns before realizing it's "hot". I don't wan't an awkward confrontation of running into her and her seeing my table without an invite as it would really hurt her. Maybe I'm stupid? I am not sure why I care for her so much. The one time I have ever remotely interacted with her was three years ago; my friend and I were walking past her locker and my friend said "oh, she has a chandelier in her locker, remember I told you about those?" (we were in seventh grade). Maybe she thought we were gossiping about her, idk, but still, that was so long ago. She always joins my lab group and tries to control it. If I disagree with her ever she snaps at me. If I ask her a question she snaps at me or she explains the answer slowly like I'm mentally retarded. When I correct something someone else is doing she snaps at me until I show her the paper and she realizes that I'm right. Sometimes while I'm talking, she even puts her hand up and makes a noise so I don't talk. So I don't talk to her. And when I work by myself, she snaps at me and asks me what I'm doing. Another thing I don't understand is why she is nice to everyone BUT me. She has tons of friends and smiles at everyone. But with me, she is always rude. I don't get it. |

Two nights ago he went nuts when at 0615 am in the morning, one of the other room mates decided to eat some sunflower seeds. He woke up and said "Dude stop that" and the room mate who spent all that morning packing up (he's leaving the Navy), said "I have leave in an hour, after that I don't have to see you anymore." What I've noticed about this guy is that he has a temper tantrum, is self-entitled and will not tolerate you disagreeing with him. He spent the last week missing muster by sleeping in his bed past 10 am and then complained over the fact that I didn't wake him up. When I did wake him up he looked angry and it was as if I was doing him a favor. He is kind of a dirtbag. The last time we had a group convo, he said that he was going to cheat the Navy $6,000 by claiming that he needed to drive down to Chicago to bring back his belongings. He complained over the fact that he had 2 watches when other people have several. Everytime he leaves the room he slams the door. |

They're not that close but I've known them since freshman year. When I sit in the table I don't say anything and I usually play on my phone until lunch is over. They see that I don't like to talk and they don't bug me about it. About 3 weeks ago I stopped going to the table and hang out by myself in the library. I felt more comfortable by myself just relaxing than be at the lunch table. I felt very awkward there. I do have a lot of friends and I like to socialize but I just seem to like being alone during lunch time. The problem is I still want to visit the table every once in a while just to keep a friendship with them especially a girl I've had a major crush on since freshman year. What kind of excuse should I give for not being there for the past few weeks? I don't want to tell them I'm introverted because they might feel like I'm forcing myself to stay. | Question: Need help convincing parents! please? Posted: 24 Feb 2016 12:11 PM PST My best friend invited me back in november to go the beach with her this summer. (I am 16). My parents told me I could go then. A bunch of my friend's families go and meet up and I have been looking forward to this for so long. My parents recently told me that I couldn't go anymore because my cousins want to go to the beach. Of course my parents accepted that week and said I could no longer go on the trip with my friend. The beaches are bout 3 hours away. I really want to go with my friend and I need help finding ways to change my parents mind or week that they want to go. Thanks |

| Posted: 24 Feb 2016 11:22 AM PST So there's this dude who introduced himself and his two friends into our group. At first, we were like "Sure man, come on in! There's always room for a few more!" One of them is one of the most sweet boys you could possibly imagine. The other ones, well.. The first makes super inappropriate jokes at really inappropriate times. He gets two inches from people's faces and screams at the volume of a mosh pit just to tell you hello. Not to mention he gets all grabby with not only the girls in our group, but also the guys too. The other one is just a huge jerk. One of the shy and really sensitive girls in our group was helping him out with his Pokemon team and giving him advice on which to choose. Then he looks over at her team, laughs, and says "I don't know why I take advice from a girl like you, look at your team! I could beat you within five seconds with my arms behind my back and a blindfold on!" She of course starts crying at this. So.. How do I tell these two to politely get out without them being able to turn it around to the school administrators and call it bullying? |

I used to hang out with 2 friends (I'm gonna call them X ad Y), but this year X ditched us (I think that's because she felt left out, because Y is kind of mean). So now Y and I hang out with Z, W and V. It used to be fun but it's not anymore because everytime Y and Z get together it's so annoying! They look like the "Mean Girls", they say everyone's a hore, they hate everyone and they are just plain fake. I miss the when I, X and Y used to hang out because it was better and i was always laughing and I was very happy. Now it's different, I'm not happy anymore and I feel left out. When they hang out after school they sometimes don't invite me. Y used to be cool and we used to be good friends but now she just cares about Z, and X has new friends now. I just feel like everyone has new friends now and I'm just alone. I don't have anyone to vent with,and that's why I'm here. Also, they are always telling me that I'm a loser and I feel really bad about myself. I used to love school so much! It was so fun, I would get up in the morning happy that I was going to school and now when I come back home I just want to cry. I hate school so much and it's starting to reflect in my grades. I would like to be as happy as I was and I would like to hear your suggestions. I miss loving school so much. Btw please don't tell me "find new friends" because I live in a small town and there aren't many people to befriend. Thanks :) |

But i only tease people that i consider my friends and it's just part of my character! If i ever feel like i've offended someone by my jokes i apologize immediately and make sure they're not insulted anymore.My close friends get that , and they know it's just who I am but some don't, like Sue . I've been nothing but good to her ,I stood by her side when she needed me,I sacrificed my time and went with her to poetry contests and even protests when i hated poetry and politics the most.I was there for her when others weren't and i've know her for 3 years now but still, i was shocked by her behavior today.I made a playful comment about her outfit and that made her furious,I apologized but she kept on insulting me .I was too stunned to answer so i simply went back to my seat. A fellow student told me to check out a place that might let me trade off work for a place to stay. I was met by 2 fairly attractive women who looked to me to be in their early 40s. They showed me the room in their home and it was great. For free rent I had to do several things. I had to keep the yard mowed. This would be no problem for me. They told me they were both gay and asked if I had a problem with that. I told them no problem. I was not gay but it was fine with me it they were. They told me I would see them in various states of being undressed around the house. Some times they would have no clothes on. I told them that also was fine with me. I could not imagine how any straight male would object to seeing women with out any cloths on even if they were gay. The last condition for the room was that a few times a year they needed a male escort to the country club for dinner and parties. They said they would pay for everything. This seemed like a great deal for me so I plan to move in next week. Am I getting in over my head? Is there some problem I have not thought of? Any advice would be appreciated. |
