Update** he recently dropped his medical coverage on her as well His business is apparently is not doing well so he has taken it upon himself to stop paying child support and also dropped our daughter s medical coverage. My brother is divorced and in his divorce papers it states about how much he or she would have to give for spousal support. Now, since theyve been divorced, his ex has had a job, higher paying job than his, and wants to get him for back spousal support as well as monthly support now. They live in Arizona . would she be able to do this ? And she recently got fired from her job. Would she still be allowed to have spousal support even if she was fired ? Additional facts: The nephew came for college (paid by his father). My wife helped him pass standard tests, TOEFL, apply to the local college (a year before arrival) without telling me. We were and still are in financial difficulties, so she knew I would have opposed the move.
