Question: My daughter is a prostitute? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:39 PM PST She's 19. She's been using heroin since she was 15. I had no idea until the cops arrived when she was 17. My husband wanted to throw her out (her real dad died ten years ago), but we gave her a chance. We made her go to a clinic and get clean. She spent two months in the clinic and got back home. We thought all was well. She was losing weight again, but she assured us it was because she had been getting depressed, so we appointed her to a psychiatrist who gave her meds. All seemed fine, she looked normal. A little pale and skinny, but not in a junkie type. Well, a few nights ago the cops knocked again, and we found out she had been jailed for prostitution. When I asked her why, she confessed that she had been using heroin again. She has been a prostitute for the past 7 months. I don't know what to do. I'm desperate. My husband doesn't want to see her ever again (I paid secretly so she's out of prison), and she's now with a friend. She told me I'm a whore and said the f word because my husband threw her out. I don't know what to do, my heart is breaking. She's my only daughter (I have three step-children from my husband's first marriage but it's not the same). I tried talking to my hubby, but we got into a fight; he can't understand why I'm crying over a "crack whore" as he said. I can't understand it either, but she's my daughter. I don't know what to do. I want to get my daughter to the right way. What should I do? Please give me an advice, I can't bear this anymore. |
Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:38 PM PST They had a falling out some 5 years ago and it's been non existent ever sense. This is on top of being separated when the son was 6-11 over a very fiery ending to highschool sweethearts. So he's been absent a lot of his life. So naturally the son (who's nearly 21) doesn't say much when his father tries to reach out. We are going out for my MIL Birthday next week and I want to invite him, we miss him, my husband does tremendously. Or should I leave it up to father and son? |
Question: Did I make a good decision, or should I have tried to work it out? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:14 PM PST I was with this girl for 2 years, she was very rude to me I think. She didn't have a license so I would get her from work and drive her places. I would ask her if she could help me with gas money since I take her places and she would fight with me about it, also when we'd do expensive things like go to shows and concerts and stuff I always had to pay she never would help, well if she helped pay she would get pissy with me because I asked her for help. Now she always gets pissy when I ask her to help me with money but she spends money on her friends. I think It's messed up. Also, when we had fights, she said I was always to blame, like she always pointed the finger at me, sometimes I would ask her a question and she'd get snippy with me and then I'd get mad and she'd say I was starting with her even though she got an attitude with me. Idk I know I caused some issues and I took tesponsibility. She wouldn't take any responsibility for her actions tho. She also rarely wanted to have sex with me, and when we did it seemed like it was a chore for her, she insulted my penis size and my bed skills in front of my friends and hers. Like she told them I was small and I sucked in bed. She also had no interest in sleeping over with me or moving in with me. And she called me fat, I got tired of all this and I feel like I tried to make it work but did I make the right decision, oh btw we had a week break up and I found out that she had sex with her ex boyfriend the same day we broke up. |
Question: Why do some men think they have the right to keep all of the marital assets? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:01 PM PST My soon to be ex-husband is under the impression, that because he was the primary bread winner during our 14 year marriage, he has the right to keep all of the marital assets. What he seems to forget was that I also worked, and contributed to the finances as well. All I want is my half of the marital assets, because it's the right thing to do. I just wish my soon to be ex-husband would be fair, and stop fighting me on this issue. |

Question: Why do married couple sleep with their backs to each other? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 07:29 PM PST Like when I watch like the Simpsons or some other show/movie, the married couple always sleep with their back to each other. Even my parents do that. I walk in the room at night to get a movie and I bring a flashlight, I always see them with their backs to each other. But, why do couples do that? Is it so they can have space? I thought married couples normally sleep with them facing each other or snuggled up to each other? |
Question: I want to get married, but I do not understand how something? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 07:08 PM PST |
Question: 13 years of marriage, do I leave or stay? Help.? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 07:07 PM PST I ve been married for 13 years and we have 3 children. Seven years ago it seemed like we were struggling and we were both working towards something together, then a couple years later something changed. I started going to college, he went back to college and earned his degree, he had such big plans for us as a family and then things just drastically changed. He was informed that his relative was leaving him a good deal of money and now he thinks that he doesn t have to "work" for anything. Funny thing is, he started being really cruel to me, not that i m not awful sometimes, but I don t deserve the things he tells me. He tells me I m nothing, I have nothing, and that I ll end up poor just like my mother. Now, I m graduating and I am a science major, and I m really proud of myself. Unfortunately, I feel like I ve made the biggest mistake. Ten years ago I thought I was with someone who really wanted to be together for life, but now he tells me that he intends on leaving when our youngest is 18. He has already applied for early retirement at his job and he is refusing to buy us a house because he says it will be something I will try to take. He doesn t love me anymore, we re not a team, he just wants me to work so I can contribute. I want to leave, because Id rather be alone then in a relationship with someone who thinks i m expendable and worthless. But our kids are what keep us together. Should I leave asap, or should I stick it out till they re 18? Any advice? |

Question: Is it bad that me and my wife never fight or argue about anything? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 05:58 PM PST We've been married for a year and a half and both are just shy of 30 years old. We both have good paying jobs and are financially stable. There's always a good vibe when were around each other were always smiling, doing things together and enjoying our time together. We have sex very often and both give each other everything we could ever want. She and I have such a strong connection to one another that we both feel that it couldn't get any better. But then again I'm just wondering is it ever not good to never fight about anything? Because throughout the 3 years of dating and 1 1/2 years of marriage I can't recall any arguments that we've had. |
Question: How do I get over this? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 05:18 PM PST Please be kind here, I am admitting that I am wrong and I'm asking for help. My husband has admitted to masterbation and porn. I personally feel this affects our sex life, because we rarely have sex,but apparently I am wrong. SO that being said, I am having a very hard time with this. It makes me furious and I feel very hurt and disappointed. I want to get over this and start fresh with my husband but I am really struggling. It completely turns me off to think about him doing that. And I understand that guys are different than girls and I know it's hard to control that urge. I really want to get past this I'm just having a really hard time. Has anyone ever gone thru this or has any advice for me? Again please keep negative comments out of this. I'm admitting that I am wrong and that is hard enough. I truly want to get over this and would appreciate some real advice. Tia |
Posted: 18 Feb 2016 05:05 PM PST My husband and I just got our first place and I made two account s , one for his bigchecks and one for mine and I don't make as much so I made mine spending money . He is still spending out of the bill account (his checks )! I make $260 twice a month and he spends most of it , am I being fair ? Shouldn't he just spend in one account and it usually $50 of iTunes ! I try not to complain but it's hard |
Question: Has any women had issues with her husband watching porn rather than have sex with her? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 04:56 PM PST Ok so any one that knows me knows how much I love sex with my husband but also Ive struggled with him because I am way more sexually active than he is. Two days before valentines day I was going through the history on his phone thinking he might have searched a gift for me but I was heartbroken because I saw all these porn pages he visited. When I confronted him he said he was looking for ideas to do new things in the bed with me but he was watching girl on girl vids too so I didnt believe him. I think what hurt the most was that he watched the vids in the rr while I am 10 ft away begging for some action and literally begging at times. Idk if I am too blame because I give in to everything he wants and maybe he is getting bored of what I can offer. I feel like my marriage is suffering and I love him so much I want to fix this. We have onluy been married 3 years but have been together for 5 years and we are only 27yrs old. I am so scared to let go of this issue and him be doing it again and what if he is just deleting his history? |

Posted: 18 Feb 2016 03:15 PM PST Update** he recently dropped his medical coverage on her as well His business is apparently is not doing well so he has taken it upon himself to stop paying child support and also dropped our daughter s medical coverage. This has been going on since August of 2015 with him making very sporadic, small payments and NO communication with me except for the occasional hateful text. His wife has also sent me messages making threats to get child support reduced "for fun". I m at a loss here. The child support office of the attorney general is at a stand still. I might be waiting forever. I might also mention that they may be funneling money throught the wife's business |

Question: Is it normal to clean up immediately after sex? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 02:26 PM PST We dont use condom as we are married. But we keep a box of tissues next to bed to clean up immediately after sex . We also wipe out any bodily fluid which spills out. Also we go to bathroom to clean ourselves before we sleep. Is it normal or do other couples just sleep immediately after sex just like they show in movies? |
Question: Wife says she needs 1-2 days a week away from me? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 02:25 PM PST My wife says she needs at least 1-2 days a week away from me. I'm okay with that, sort of... But she wants to spend her time away from me with the one friend that I don't get along with, and this friend always wants to go to night clubs and keeps trying to get my wife to do X with her. This weekend will be the third weekend in a row they've gone clubbing. Her friend is single and can't keep a boyfriend or girlfriend (she's bi) for more than a few weeks. How can I tell her I have an issue with this without sounding like I don't want her to have any fun? |

Question: Is my husband being insensitive? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 01:41 PM PST My husband and I have been married for 4 years, since his son was 2. He has his son half every other weekend and one night a week. He was with us last night and he was really naughty all day. He was rude on the drive home from school, was crazy during hw time, and dragged out dinner bc he wouldn't eat and refused a shower. The worst was bed time. He wouldn't listen during the story so his dad closed the book and left. We could hear him crying for a long time but we wanted him to go to sleep bc he was so bad all day and we knew he was overtired/out of sorts. He fell asleep and so did we but then we woke up in the middle of the night because he was screaming. My husband told me not to give in to him but I went anyways. The poor little guy had a bad dream and he was so scared and upset. He was crying and begging me not to leave him alone so I brought him into bed with us. It seemed like the right thing to do and even my husband seemed fine. He said "it's okay, buddy. Get some sleep" and he fell asleep pretty quickly. But now that he is back with his mom my husband is really mad at me. He says that his son was being manipulative and he will never follow our rules if we give into him, and he even said that the child is not mine. I know that's true but it really hurt my feelings and I think he is being mean to me and insensitive to his son. Was I completely in the wrong? |

I told me partner I met them and such. now me and my partner are getting along very well like a miracle happened but im constantly feeling guilty because I didn t tell him all the details that I kissed nd maybe more but never slept with any other man! |
Question: Am I knocking him or pushing him to do better? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 12:09 PM PST My wife's son (my step-son) is 19 almost 20 years old and is currently living with us because he flunked out of college his first year for partying and not studying. He lost his job because the car that he was borrowing broke down on him because he wouldn't do the basic maintenance like an oil change to keep it running. Even though he was the primary driver he felt it wasn't his responsibility to do it. Ok, his girlfriend and her parents are financially supporting him by paying for their dates and taking him on vacations with them. I told my wife that he has until the end of the month to find a job. Within 1 to 1.5 miles from our house there are probably 7 or 8 different fast food places, two grocery stores, 3 auto parts stores and several other little places he could work at. Every time he wants to go see his GF my wife gives him her car. He had it most of the day on 2/13 because he wanted to take his GF to a party, then on 2/14 he had to go see her for Valentines day. Tonight my wife has a work event and I told her I'd get me something to eat. She asked about her son and I said there were leftovers in the fridge. She thinks it's wrong of me to eat fast food when he's gotta eat leftovers. I told her I wasn't supporting a 20 year old who refuses to work and would rather mooch off everyone else. She doesn't think he's mooching. Of all those places I mentioned he's only put in 1 application at 1 place. I think he just doesn't want to work as long as mommy always hands him the keys to her car, GF is paying for dates, and her parents let him come stay at their house for a few days and takes him on vacation with them. He's enrolled in a graphic design class but I don't see that working out for him cause it's a 1 year certificate compared to a 4 year degree. I told him he had till the end of the month to find a job and start paying his own way but my wife thinks I'm too hard on him. "You can't put a timeline on when someone should have a job, he's trying!" When I was 20 I had a full time job and was helping out financially at home with my parents. I don't see why he can't be doing that either. Am I knocking him or pushing him to do better? |
Posted: 18 Feb 2016 11:47 AM PST If you move someone's question, and they move it back can't you understand that the question is meant to be in this category?? Why do you have no life and sit there being childish moving them around constantly? But they're not moving trolls questions. They're moving GENUINE questions. I wrote a question last night about my ex husband and child custody, they moved it to PREGNANCY. And when I'm answering genuine questions on here, about husbands and wives, I've noticed after I've answers they've been moved to different categories! |
Question: My wife doesn't enjoy sex? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 11:23 AM PST She doesn't enjoy it at all, she tries to "pretend" she is, but it is obvious she does not. Weve tried speaking about it, but she says "really everything is great". She will have sex whenever I want too, we try a lot of foreplay etc. What else can I do? I enjoy sex with her every time, I just want to make sure she gets the most pleasure out of if.any ideas? @gedia how would I know if she is sore down there lol ? Shes very tight.she doesn't seem to be in 'pain' when having sex. I usually have sex with her 3/4 times a week |

Question: Wife started forgetting which foods I don't like andbegan buying them for me? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 09:43 AM PST In a world of Pepsi vs Coke, I hate them both. Always have, since childhood. I also hate potato chips and hot dogs. (I know, how unamerican of me) My wife and I (both women)have been together for ten years and NEVER in that time have I eaten those foods. When we were dating and engaged and even early in our marriage I told her I don't like those foods. For the most part, she's remembered. But these last few months, she's seemed to have forgotten. One night she picked up chili cheese dogs for us for dinner, and brought them home. When I reminded her I didn't like hot dogs, she got annoyed. I ended up eating a sandwich for dinner, and she ate her food and a few bites of mine. Then earlier this week while we were house shopping, she went into the convenience store to get snacks while I was filling the tank. She bought herself jalapeno potato chips and a coke, and bought me regular potato chips and a coke. She'd already opened both drinks (she drank from hers and opened mine to hand it to me since I'd be driving) and opened the chips for the same reason, so I told her to just keep them both. She got angry. I'm not trying to be difficult, but this is happening more and more frequently. I remember the foods she doesn't like, but she keeps forgetting. I think it may have something to do with her new friend who I don't get along with, and who doesn't like me, but I hope I'm wrong. |

Question: What should I do about my husband s lying? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 09:07 AM PST My husband and I have a long history of ups and downs. I love him very much, but I am concerned about his little white lies. I know He tells them to avoid arguments, but it makes me feel like I can t trust him. In the past, he has lied to me about other women he had been with while we were separated. He promised that he would never lie to me again after that. Though I don t suspect cheating or anything, these white lies have me worried. What should I do? |

Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:22 AM PST Saying those words isn't enough. It needs to be a long discussion about "respect". As you know, I don't believe in respect. Not because I think respect is stupid, it's because I believe respect is already a part of my life and I don't need to discuss it. When someone acts "disrespectful", I just turn the other cheek and ignore bad behavior. This isn't "enabling" the behavior, this is just not entertaining the behavior and giving it the attention it wants - kind of like how some of you don't answer my questions any more. But my wife has a different belief on respect. She believes that when a person is disrespected, rather than turn the other cheek a person has to be scorned and told they are misbehaving and to never do that again "or else". Which basically reinforces the other person's hurt feelings to disrespect in the FIRST place and make that person feel twice the pain they felt when they first approached her. She also believes that disrespecting her beliefs is the same as disrespecting her. I am not my beliefs. I am not my values either. I am a human being and I am not perfect. If someone doesn't like that I'm a gamer, that's fine, they don't have to play Final Fantasy or watch me play it. But if someone was to disrespect my wife is a crafter, she will lose her mind and retaliate to get vindicated. I've tried to "defend myself" like she does when she "disrespects me" and she calls it being abusive, but when she does that to me it is called "standing up for herself". "It needs to be a long discussion about respect" as in she doesn't understand how it works and I do (despite not knowing I did). "I believe respect is already a part of my life and I don't need to discuss it" as in it is just a way of life for me so I thought that I didn't need to discuss it online with all of you. But clearly it isn't since my wife doesn't get it, so I need to discuss it and address this blatant disrespect. @??? - First off, why did I unblock you if you are going to get quick jabs in? I think I'm adding you to my block list. Second, I turn the other cheek because I can take abuse gracefully, not because I am superior to others. Turning the other cheek just means you don't entertain it, I had no clue it was a religious thing. But it doesn't matter, the point is, I don't reward bad behavior with my attention. |

Question: Why do men always use the ignorant excuse that they could either watch porn or cheat? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:05 AM PST I'm so sick of seeing posts about porn and men and women both saying "well wouldn't you rather your man watch porn then cheat with random women?" Seriously? Do you know how ignorant, pathetic, and weak that makes you sound? You DON'T have to masturbate. You DON'T have to look a people having sex or naked men or women. You aren't going to die because you aren't having sex with a rando nor jerking off to fake ****. I really don't give a **** about the porn subject in general just over seeing lame *** excuses and ultimatums like that. And another thing stop saying that its okay because you aren't emotionally attached to the person via webcam or porn star or whatever because that really doesn't matter whether you are emotionally involved or not does it? Come up with an actual reason why you think it is okay. Ive had sex with 2 guys I wasnt emotionally attached to. I did it for the sex. If you guys feel so damn justified how about coming up with some actual reasons these girls are wrong instead of acting like its a ******* reflex. That's all I'm saying. Pretty sure when I had sex with those guys it was the fact I could see them in a sexual way and that's prolly what is bothering these chicks. Pretty sure She knows you guys are pathetic because of the lame pathetic excuses you come up with but surely she doesnt think you actually have an emotional connection to a porn star. Use your ******* brain. Stop thinking with the wrong head for once. Thanks. |

Question: Does your wife or gilfriend get upset when you look at other women? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 07:38 AM PST Here's the deal. I can't help myself. My eyes are programmed to look for hotties. It's really just a reflex. |
Question: I feel trapped in an unhappy marriage- husband says he wont live without our son? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 06:54 AM PST We are not happy we do not have a relationship anymore, we fight all the time, sometimes in front of our kid but we try our best to avoid it which means usually we just barely talk. But I feel I have know other choice, I don t want to break apart the family for my child. My husband says we should just be happy and stay together but is unwilling to make any real changes to improve things. He also said he wont live without our kid, who is 2. I know I can t either, but I would be willing to live close to him so we could balance it out and both see him everyday. But realistically I know our son should sleep in the same place as me, he is used to me getting up with him in the night, reading to him before bed and waking up in the morning with him. But my husband is refusing to let that happen. I do not want to take this to court, I don t know what to do. I keep trying to kid myself that we are happy, maybe we can be ok and build a family but I don t believe it anymore. I don t want my kid to grow up in an unhappy marriage like I did. But my husband says it is always better for the kids to live with both parents. But we re clearly not happy and just stuck together. What do I do? |

Question: Have you ever thought of divorcing someone because of their snoring? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 06:08 AM PST Sleeping together means no shut-eye whatsoever, sleeping separately divides you further and further apart. Have you ever thought of divorcing someone because of their snoring? How much more of this will you be able to endure? http://www.livestrong.com/article/263656-dangers-of-wearing-ear-plugs/ http://www.starkey.com/blog/2015/07/Should-You-Wear-Earplugs-At-Night I DON'T DO earplugs. Impacted ear wax, middle ear infection, loss of hearing, I only get one set of ears to last me a lifetime, I like these ears more than I like other people, married or not. |
Posted: 18 Feb 2016 05:39 AM PST Is this bad for a married comply ? We got married while we had barely any money? Or is it ok to be married but very poor ? Should we not be married because we can't support each other's money needs such as health insurance, lots of organic foods , high rent and 5 bills ? I'm just curious. |

Question: Redundancy possible soon - bad time to buy a bigger house? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 01:53 AM PST So I may be made redundant in the near future. Nothing confirmed but almost certain in the next 6 months / 12 months/ 18 months. My concern is my wife is pressuring me to buy a bigger house at the moment. We would be under a lot more financial pressure if we moved. I am confident I could find a new job but I am also terrified of the uncertainty. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Posted: 17 Feb 2016 10:20 PM PST I feel more justified that it's worse that it's his problem because he's a man and can't control his sexual urges. I on the other hand don't fantasize about other men, i just watch porn and masturbate. I feel like if he stopped, I would too. Does that make me a hypocrite? Edit: I am a woman |

Question: Spousal Support question? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 09:43 PM PST My brother is divorced and in his divorce papers it states about how much he or she would have to give for spousal support. Now, since theyve been divorced, his ex has had a job, higher paying job than his, and wants to get him for back spousal support as well as monthly support now. They live in Arizona . would she be able to do this ? And she recently got fired from her job. Would she still be allowed to have spousal support even if she was fired ? How does back spousal support work? Thanks! |
Posted: 17 Feb 2016 09:24 PM PST Additional facts: The nephew came for college (paid by his father). My wife helped him pass standard tests, TOEFL, apply to the local college (a year before arrival) without telling me. We were and still are in financial difficulties, so she knew I would have opposed the move. Until that point, she had refused to work all 20 years of our marriage but finally decided to work ONLY to help her nephew financially. Everything she makes goes to help him with necessities. |
