Question: Should I write this in the company notebook? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 01:40 PM PST We have a company notebook to leave notes without placing blame and while it was friendly and deadpanned serious now it's sarcastic like "who's the pedantic phillistine that is messing up stocking order?" Then the next day we'd see "Tis I, the misplaced boxes say f*** your mother" and stuff like that. Since people see me as kind of like a camp councillor with inspirational quotes and such I wanted to write: Breathe deep the gathering gloom, Watch lights fade from every room, Bed sitter people look back and lament, Another days used in a year spent, Empassioned lovers wrestle as one, Lonely man cries for love and has none, New mother picks up suckles her sun, Senior citizens wish they were young, Cold hearted orb rules the night, Removes the colours from our sight, Red is grey yellow white, But we decide which is right and which is an illusion. I want to write that as a way of calming them down, like a nightly hymn and unlike most dumb ideas I have its not going away. Should I write it or is it too unrelated to work? |

He turns 16 in a month |
Question: I think my son's coaches wife is jealous of me? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 10:22 AM PST My son and his coach are pretty close...his coach respects his work ethnic and has even picked my son up for practice when I had class and my husband was at work. I noticed a woman staring at e at the ball game and didnt think much of it. Then, I dont know if it was the way she was ripping herself around me, making faces or what...but it was clear after the game she was agitated at me. I found out later it was his wife. She never introduced herself or anything. This started after Christmas when I made cocoa as Christmas gifts for all my sons teachers and coaches, he has two coaches. I didnt think she was jealous at first, but her behavior was off putting. I saw him on facebook and he is friends with all of the other kids parents...so I sent him a request. He added me...I congratulated him in a message for getting spot next year for high school basketball...that means he will be coaching the kids next year, too. I thought a thanks would be a normal reply, but nothing. That is fine...but soon after he deleted me. My husband and I go to every single game to support our son...I dont ever talk to his coach much because he ignores me if I try to ask him anything. Ive have never had this problem with any coach. I heard through the grapevine later on...which I guess is true...his wife and him had an affair while they were married to other people, they met through the school. Then it made sense why she acted jealous, silly, if i want to know about my son, i expect an answer Should I let it go...or how should I handle this...it is awkward. It is a problem because my son is 13 years old...I need updates and information from time to time and I dont feel comfortable asking anything. I have no interest in her husband...I think she knows I am attractive so she thinks I might try to steal her husband based on her own poor morals. Ryde On, I keep a low enough profile and never talk to him...my husband is at all the game with me. The guy is not good looking at all. So dont point fingers at me...my son is what matters, he has a lot of goals for my son and as a parent I should be aware of some of the things he has planned for him because I am the one who is responsible for getting him everywhere. It is a problem because he has my son starting for a higher classman team and he has chosen my son to go to camp out of state...yet I, nor my husband are not being informed of details. because apparently him and his wife are minuscular people who are insecure and childish. nobody wants her nasty *** old man. @another crone. absolutely not. I dont go out, i dont go to bars, i have never been in trouble, never had an affair. I have been married to the same guy since I was 20 years old. I am almost 38 now. We just moved her a few years ago. I dont know what her problem is....it looks like jealousy...my son said the same thing. I stayed home with my kids, i was a stay at home mom for many years...so she has never seen me in another light. |
Question: Signs of a girl liking you through eye contact? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 09:53 AM PST does a girl stare at you when talking longer or shorter does a girl get nervous around you etc... this girl has been nervous around me before until i started talking to her and now she ain't but she does now start flirting more and whenever we talk she never looks away from my eyes. |
Question: What can I do to soften my mother's sadness for my moving out? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 09:26 AM PST My mom's been feeling really upset over me leaving to South Carolina to live with my girlfriend, whom I've been in a relationship with for almost 5 years now. Yeah, SC's pretty far from New Jersey, I know the distance will be really hard on her. I'm basically trying to advance my relationship to the next level (we've visited each other a few times before so we already know each others' places and families) and also because I want to start living life without the umbilical cord because hey, I need to get out there, have my own journeys and have some personal development and stuff. But I'd like to know if there's anything I can do, no matter how subtle, that can soften the blow for my family. I could leave photos of myself in the room I'm vacating, leave behind some stuff like posters in the room to kinda give some illusion as though I never really left, and I've promised my mom I would keep in touch with her through phones and computers, but I'm curious to know what else I could do to make it easy on her. Let's put it this way: she's acting like a child about it. She's very clingy, emotional and overprotective. It also doesn't help that she doesn't approve of my relationship with my girlfriend... To her, she's just "the girl who took my son away" and thinks she's trying to take advantage of me when she's actually the most caring person I've ever met aside from my mom. Any ideas on how to make this emotionally easier for her even though she's making things difficult for me? |
Question: Is my roommate lazy and what can I do about it? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 08:08 AM PST He never buys any groceries but always eats my food. He also never buys detergent, body wash or toilet paper but always uses yours and is always the first person to point out whenever we run out of something. When I asked why he never buys any groceries, he claims that he can't afford to, despite working two jobs and he's constantly buying new clothes. He does not do any household chores other than his own laundry. He doesn't even bother to make his bed. Whenever he's home, all he does watch TV. He constantly makes fun of my healthy and active lifestyle, even though he's morbidly obese. Is a major hoarder. He's constantly buying new clothes yet never gets rid of any new clothes. His dressers and closets are overfilled with clothes hanging out of them. He brings home old magazines and newspapers from his job and just leaves them lying around the place. Any open space we have is filled of useless junk. |
Question: Tell me what's bothering you right now in a brief summary? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 08:05 AM PST REPOST FROM YESTERDAY: To keep this short I write music, and I'm currently working with a beat. Problem is, I'm not sure what to base the song of off. It doesn't necessarily have to be something bothering you. Just tell me something thats going on in your personal life right now thats weighing heavy on your mind. You can even explain your situation in depth a little if you'd like. In fact, it would help even more. To anyone who answers, thank you so much in advance. You are truly an inspiration. Thanks! |
Question: My mom passed away almost exactly one year ago? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 07:03 AM PST My mom died March 2nd 2015. I've been handling it pretty well. I think about her daily & I've broken down maybe 2-3 times in the past year. Once was pretty bad. Overall though, I've done ok. As it gets closer to the one year mark though it seems to be getting slightly harder. I've been crying lately. Is this normal? Will I always remember the day she passed? I worry as I age that one day I'll forget about her. |

Question: Is my teacher normal? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 05:35 AM PST She does alot of unusual things, like for one thing, she'll take a squat in the bushes near the school rather than use the facilities. I finally got up the nerve to ask her about it (while she was watering the bushes) and she said it makes her one with nature! WTF? |
Question: Isn't too soon to have sex with someone unless you've known him for a year? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 04:45 AM PST Actually I break up with guys cause they expect sex too soon just after 3-5 dates or 1-2 months. I only had 1 serious relationship and that was in high school but i had known my boyfriend forever before having sex |
Question: What's wrong with me? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 04:30 AM PST I'm a 17 year old girl and I've never been interested in any guys or girls. I've never went to any discos and I never kissed anyone either. People find it strange when I tell them I never had a boyfriend. I've turned down many people and they started to call me ice queen. I didn't turn them down because I think I'm better than them, I turned them down because I just simply don't like them and I don't like relationships. I was already a teenager when I found out that I've never liked anyone, people told me it would change but it never did. What is wrong with me? I hate the thought of relationships and physical contact. When people tell me I'm going to get married someday it really annoys me.. |

Question: Why is it unacceptable for a guy to be 25 years old and be unemployed? Posted: 17 Feb 2016 02:21 AM PST So I am 25 years old and I have bipolar disorder and I am unable to work and I am applying for disability. My friends always constantly criticizes me for being 25 and never having a job. My friend thinks that I am lazy and says that he thinks that I can work but I am just too lazy and unmotivated in life. They also criticize me for not having a drivers license since I failed the drivers permit test like 5 times. They keep on saying it is not rocket science and your not trying hard enough. Almost no one respects me and thinks that I want to live off of the government. They said to me it is my fault that I never had a girlfriend and that I am still single at this age. They said while everyone has graduated from college and working and getting married you still are here a college dropout an unemployed loser who is still single. I am tired of people doing this to me. Why are people like this towards me and have no respect for me ? |

Question: Is tracking down and confronting a celebrity your in love with a bad idea? Posted: 16 Feb 2016 08:58 PM PST I'm in deep with this actress Jodi lyn O'keefe, I have been since I was 13 when I watched her show on TV I'm 19 now. I don't have many people in my life, just family no friends I usually just spend my time thinking about this woman, watching her interviews, re watching all movies and shows she's been in, I've been having the same dream for years, I dream that she's my mother and she takes me to school and takes care of me when I'm sick and just shows me this love and affection you see on TV. honestly it just makes me feel depressed. I don't know why but I just really want her in my life Then I got to thinking one night, why don't I just go to California and find her? Would it be so crazy to track her down and just tell her how I feel? I feel like I can't move on with my life until I confront her, isn't that what all the therapists say anyway? To confront what's holding you back. Sorry for the long post and thank you, |

However Friday I have to learn like 48 human bones perfectly and be able to retain like 15 more on the spot then do a lab. I have not been able to study because I didn't have the book but I got maybe like 10 of them down. I won't get the book until tomorrow night at 8 pm. Then I have the majority of thursday after 11 am to learn the rest. Should I go see deadpool after classes tomorrow or stay in and try to work on other stuff? |
Question: How can I make a good impression? Posted: 16 Feb 2016 07:51 PM PST I'm going to a new school soon and I want to make a good impression. I'm a little nervous to be honest but I'm sure I can get over that with some help. So how can I leave a good impression when I meet new people and how can a make friends more easily? I want to seem approachable and I want people to seem comfortable around me. How can I be less nervous and feel more comfortable around my new classmates? |
Question: Is it considered bullying if I am teased by various people everyday? Help me? Posted: 16 Feb 2016 07:43 PM PST |
Question: Do you think abuser's who's wives/girfriend commit suicide should be tried for murder? Posted: 16 Feb 2016 07:06 PM PST My abuser's mother committed suicide. Everyone who talked about her said she was crazy. I found out later, from a letter she wrote, that her husband (my abuser's father) had seriously abused her. Not only that, everything she described her husband doing to her in the letter, was exactly what her son had done to me. The letter was not a suicide note. It was a letter she had written to her son's (my abuser's) child psychologist when he was a kid. In it she was describing what had happened so the psychologist could better understand what her son had gone through. It was clear that she was not crazy, and loved her son. Some years later, she did wind up killing herself because she couldn't live with what had been done to her anymore. I now struggle with the same feelings of worthlessness, despair and constant thoughts of death that she described. I now believe that it is murder when someone drives a person to suicide by abusing them. I have gone through counseling, support groups ect. Nothing helps, because he took everything from me. I have nothing left to "start over" with. I just want to die, and I cry for his mother, because I understand now what it's like when someone utterly destroys you, then makes you feel like you're the crazy one. I feel so bad that no one knows she wasn't crazy, and I'm so afraid that that is all people will say about me when I'm gone. I guess it won't matter though, I won't be around to care what they think. |

Question: When someone can't let go after 10 years? Posted: 16 Feb 2016 12:17 PM PST My sister-in-law came to my house one time and the kids didn't answer the door because they were instructed not to open for anyone. She claims this has devastated her and that we hate her. She has no kids, so she can't relate to the concept of protecting them. When spoken to, she recalls the event like a broken record. She cannot get over it. I've apologized and she doesn't accept. What do I do? |
