Its easy to deal with most boring situations by simply being passively present and becoming lost in thought. But boring conversation forces you to be an active participant. You can't simplly cope with boringness- you have to be sucked into the boring atmosphere that the other person is forcing upon you. I was casually reading an article on my phone when the person next to me started asking me a bunch of random questions about my work and school- the most boring topic ever. The questions asked were excruciating and the worst part was that I couldn't continue in my train of thought and reading- which is the worst part about spontaneous small talk; it is unnecessarily interruptive. I had to keep answering these intensely boring questions that felt like an interrogation and hope against hope that it would stop. It felt like water torture - drip drip drip. |

Then Stupid Maddie (different girl) said you re making Ruth cry and you re a brat and you interrupt everyone! They only hung out with you because you sat by them! " first, Ruth wasn t even crying. Second, Maddie is a jerk and I hate her. All of my friends went to Ruth s side and believe her when she s making up lies. I have no idea what to do. I hate them now so much and maddie says I don t have friends. And everyone s talking about and saying, "oh, don t tell Eden what Ruth said about her." I heard a lot and I m kind of frustrated and tomorrow s Friday so I won t have enough time to talk to them! We have different classes. Only time we have is recess. Please tell me what I should do? |

My friend ended up going to his house and having sex with him. Not only is the age gap a problem, but my cousin is also married and has 2 kids? He's been married for a year now. The next worst part is my cousins niece is my other bat friend and I hate having to hide this from her. But I can't disown my other friends trust? I think the whole thing is wrong. Except I have not really told her about what has been going on because I knew she would just assume I am being too dramatic rather than actually think I have a problem. I am currently in the 9th grade at my school and have been going there since 6th, so I have gotten to know the people around me. However, this year has been extremely more difficult than the previous years socially since every kid I knew and was friends with, just stopped being my friend and just became a huge piece of **** to me. My mom has been on a business trip for the past 2 weeks and I finally got the courage to call her and talk to her but she just claims that I am being too dramatic. I just dont know how to talk to her and make her understand my problems because she is really the only one who can help me do something; whether that be switching school or finding out what my problem is. I just dont know how to talk to her. |

They were all physically and mentally beating me and yes, i did tried going to the police about it hundreds of times now but they didnt believe me because i had no evidence. I was starting to get depressed, my friends rarely visit me and when i text them they wont respond. so let's just say that made me feel even worse. One of them I have just met within the last year and the other I have been friends with since kindergarten. Today, one of the friends said in a group chat to the other one that they should hang out. I m fine with that, but it kind of seemed rude that they left me out of that. Couldn t she have said that on their private chat? Then, the same friend told me to shut up when I was texting on the group chat, even though everyone was talking, too. She specifically told me to shut up or to leave the chat. Now for the other friend, she always texts me back or answers me but lately she is too busy with social media sites to answer me, but she still can answer the other friend.. It seems like they want me out of the group. By the way; they can text me a million messages but when I talk, they just don t respond or tell me to go away. I'm allowed to work with a classmate, and I'm probably going to do it with my friend. Problem is, I have no idea what to do! I don't want it to be a boring lecture, preferably something funny and clever. I'm not musically gifted, so I can't write a song about it. I was trying to think of a story or something that we could film that takes you through the differences but I can't think of anything. I was thinking a rap battle, because I'm good at editing, but the thing is, I would be the one ending up doing all the work. I'd definitely film and edit it because I have the equipment, I'd write probably 90% of it and so all my friend would do is co-star in it with me. One of my friends decided to distance herself. She never texts me first and rarely asks to hang out. She exited a group chat with no explanation and then today asked me to put her back in and said she only exited cause it used too much of her data. The last time I texted her privately was the end of January and it was only because I initiated it. I told her we should hang out this week. But I had no intentions of making the plans first with her because I always do it. So she started texting me again and asked to go to the mall and have a sleepover. But ironically this is the week I have the most plans. But she found out about the sleepover plans and I think she is a little upset. She's always saying how I hang out with our other friends more (I introduced her to two of them and these friends and me text and make plans equally). That went on for a while, and then it was like a switch went off. I started being rude to everyone except my few friends. I am now in my sophomore year and I have made just about everyone dislike me, and it makes me feel extremely bad. My automatic response to anything is always "I don't care" "leave me alone" or "go away". I realize that I've been rude as soon as I've said it but I rarely take it back. I know it could be because I let people push me around for too long, but I don't like blaming my own rudeness on something that happened years ago. This grade year though... She's not her anymore. She's changed. First, she created a fake account to bully herself, which my friends and I all quickly found out abut that it was herself. We were all confused by this, but we didn't really think a lot of it. But then, she created a fake boyfriend's account and pretended that he hurt her. It was the same person who was the person who bullied her, which was, her. We have evidence, but I'm not going to list because it'll be too long then. Most of my friends had it with her and their friendships never healed. I still stayed with my best friend, though because she's a bit sad at times(she cuts sometimes for attention). And now... yesterday (I don't have a phone), she pretended to be me and said that "I" got a phone, texting my other best friend. She made me look so stupid. Why's she doing this to me? People often tease one girl in my second hour do being friends with freshman. Anyway, I saw him at a party a while back and he confronted me in a hallway. We were alone and he said we "had to get back together." I said no so he grabbed my arm and twisted. I broke free and kicked him as hard as I could right in the balls! I was able to catch both of his babymakers and drive those suckers hard with my pointed boots. After I rocked his ballsack, he fell down and puked. The look on his face was priceless. Anyway, I guess I got him so good his nuts swelled up to the size of oranges and one ruptured and had to be removed (I play college soccer so I know how to blast a ballsack!). I feel a little bad but I've also heard he has been telling people he will never mess with a girl again and says he is glad I did not rupture his other nut. He now wears an athletic cup protector all the time to save his remaining jewel. My girlfriends on the soccer team now call me the "nut remover" and say I should hang up a fake pair of nuts like a hunting trophy on a tombstone background with the words "RIP Brian's Nuts-Destroyed By Girl Power" underneath them. Other people say I should hang up a guy's athletic cup as a symbol of female power of male weakness. Any other good nicknames? And what should I hang up? Most creative response gets best answer. Just wish more girls could experience blasting a jerk's balls! It is such a great feeling seeing a supposedly tough guy go down with one kick. Must suck to have nuts. I've recently realized that I'm getting tired of my friends. We're all in college together and most of us went to high school together. I probably only stayed friends with them in college out of convenience. Best friend #1 stopped talking to me as much and started blowing off our plans yet she has time to hang out with others. Best friend #2 lives 5 states away and I was the last one in our group to find out that she is flying home for spring break. The group of 8 people all planned a SB trip to the beach. They invited other people they hardly knew but I knew nothing of the trip. One of the guys eventually invited me but everyone else in the group voted against me going. They said they already had 11 people going and it would already be crammed. I understand that part. 11 is a lot of people for one trip. All of my friends in that group except one are under 21. The 21 year old had to book the condo. She eventually backed out of the trip thus canceling the condo. The group, knowing my girlfriend is 21, magically had room for 2 more if my girlfriend booked the trip. I told them no since that wasnt fair to me to exclude me from the trip until they needed something. I'm the only one in that group who doesn't live at home. Most of the people don't even have jobs and all they do is argue with each other and talk about each other. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? |

Ultimately i decided teaching was where my heart was and I was willing to do anything to become the best teacher I could be. I decided to take a job with an after school program where we were in charge of giving lessons and helping with homework. I started off with so much passion and it soon fizzled when the kids became increasingly (god forgive me) bratty. Every nice thing i did was wrong, every treat i bought was not good enough, every lesson I gave was unappreciated and even worse I had kids telling lies to their parents about me which resulted in a damaged reputation for stuff that never happened. I stopped caring because my boss wouldn't help me, the kids wouldn't cooperate and their behavior went off the deep end, i was physically attacked by a child and blamed for it (even though i asked for help with him), and worse off the parents thought i had it out for their kids. So now while sitting in my classes i realize i have taken on a defensive tone. I felt like i was in battle the whole time i was at that job.I loved kids and I loved giving lessons and facilitating learning, but after that terrible program i have the worst taste in my mouth. So I guess what i really want to know is if i should work on changing my attitude and classroom management techniques or just throw in the towel? I have been working with toddlers and like that but still worry. |

His first snap to her is asking if she "wants to have some fun", just after she said me and her were dating. Literally, he has been non-stop tryin for her. Just this past weekend he sent her "Happy Valentines Day :)" that pretty much passed the line for me. I trust my GF and all, but i dont trust him. I dont want to tell her she cant talk to him, but ibwant him to stop persuing her, especially since she tella him constantly we arent breaking up. I was gunna message him on FB and talk to him about it, but I dont wanna go behind her back. Any ideas? |

"Short women are unattractive because they don't have the ideal body most men desire, they are usually only attractive to athletes and men with an inferiority complex" I just can't get over this. I feel like I'm just somebody's target because of their inferiority. He said that tall men date short women because it psychologically helps them compensate for their large size. I don't know, it's all very weird and psychological. I do feel degraded, however, because I feel that I am ugly to people who don't have these problems. |

But my main problem is that I feel lonely. I have friends, not close ones, more like I hang with them because theyre all I have in that class. I hate being lonely, its embarrassing so I just cling around them. But im like an extra, not needed, just there. All of the girls already have groups and friends so its to late for me to join in. Dont say stuff like, "just make friends!!" Im not shy but im reserved with strangers. Ive been at this school for three years, i know these people and their personalities, i dont fit in |

I've recently realized that I'm getting tired of my friends. We're all in college together and most of us went to high school together. I probably only stayed friends with them in college out of convenience. Best friend #1 stopped talking to me as much and started blowing off our plans yet she has time to hang out with others. Best friend #2 lives 5 states away and I was the last one in our group to find out that she is flying home for spring break. The group of 8 people all planned a SB trip to the beach. They invited other people they hardly knew but I knew nothing of the trip. One of the guys eventually invited me but everyone else in the group voted against me going. They said they already had 11 people going and it would already be crammed. I understand that part. 11 is a lot of people for one trip. All of my friends in that group except one are under 21. The 21 year old had to book the condo. She eventually backed out of the trip thus canceling the condo. The group, knowing my girlfriend is 21, magically had room for 2 more if my girlfriend booked the trip. I told them no since that wasnt fair to me to exclude me from the trip until they needed something. I'm the only one in that group who doesn't live at home. Most of the people don't even have jobs and all they do is argue with each other and talk about each other. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? |

Me and my friends started out great, there was always this one that was always a dick but we knew he didn't mean it. My best friend and I had done a lot together. His friends never did like me. We were fine. Then after school one day I felt like he was neglecting me a bit, along with my other friends. When I went home he added me to a Skype call with his friends, I kept getting removed and added to it. Then his friends say "Hey, leave us alone. Kill yourself." Be in neglected and few friends all my life this hurt me. After the Skype call I asked him why he added me to it. He said he wasn't in the initial call. I asked him why he was being a dick lately and he said he didn't think he was being one. Today, during school he never talked to me. When I tried to talk to him he tried to avoid me. Am I slowly losing my friend? How can I make different fried s if I am. |

I like to watch movies, spend time on the computer, listen to music, and play my guitar once in a while. Now i came to a point where im getting bored with all that daily stuff i do at home. I been calling people and messaging people on facebook cause im bored. I dont like to bother people. I never get any calls or facebook messages from anyone only unless i respond to them first. So i just feel like peoples pest lately since im the only one in my family and friend group who calls people. Is there more to life than this? if their is, any ideas how to keep myself entertained at home without bugging other people? |

He is the best boss in the world. We all love him. He is so much fun to be with it is a joy to come to work each morning. We have such fun conversations in the employee break room. One time he was giving a co worker an award for outstanding performance. When she was accepting it, she said "I have not had this much fun since some guy hit my G spot. Unfortunately it was not Bob". Bob said "I will try harder next time". We all died laughing. People from other departments tell just Bob does not respect us and we have a hostile work environment. We think just the opposite. I understand that some people that I meet are into that stuff and when I first meet them it seems all good, but then they fall away from me and to never heard from again. Like they would never respond to my calls or text. whats wrong with not doing drugs or wanting to smoke? Its just not my thing and alot of ppl are just into that stuff. The reason being is because it makes me feel that its hard for me to meet someone special or make friends because everyone is so judgmental and hating on me for not wanting to smoke or try drugs. I just really dont need it to be happy! |
