Question: Trying to get wife to listen? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 09:11 PM PST My wife wants me to listen to her on everything (she's very controlling), but like today, when I had work and I asked her not to interrupt me, she wouldn't listen and kept interrupting me(for silliest reasons)... It seems like her words are law and mine are a joke and I really don't mind listening to her, but I also want to feel heard. How can I accomplish this? |
Posted: 29 Feb 2016 09:11 PM PST I feel that i am part of the group of people who has never dated anyone yet. Im 18 and have been single my entire life while my friends and family have dated and married. I feel very un experienced. Has anyone else gone through this? Its sort of weird to me. |
Question: At age 50 when did you start dating? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 09:00 PM PST Not really an ideal question id like to ask but my parents are going through a divorce and the idea of my mom and dad living lonely lifes old is killing me inside. im their oldest daughter age 27. Mom is 47 and dad 50. would it be possible for my parents to find happiness in a new relationship while at that age? i just feel their both old and well perhaps feel to old to date if any of them ever did consider that option to get back into. i asked my mom if she felt perhaps shell work it back out with dad later down the line on and she said no she is ready to move on, both parents been married 27 years, they had a huge break out and sadly felt its best its time to go on their own ways so they can both be on their own and find happiness... =/ |
Question: How does my busy spouse have time to fight? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:53 PM PST My spouse works from morning till evening 5 days a week. He says he gets tired by weekend. But he has enough energy to fight with me, remember what happened years ago and hold grudges. When i was working, i would be so tired when i got home that i would fall on my bed. I had no time to think. But my spouse makes everything a big deal, has time to find my faults. I am sick of fighting with him. At this moment i am unable to work. I try my best to keep doing new things. But i am unable to figure out how to reduce the arguments. I thought being busy makes you forget or atleast makes you realize what the imp things are. I try to talk to him and he shuts out. I just dont know what to do. |
Question: My fiancé and my body mods..? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:48 PM PST My fiancé doesn't like my septum piercing and would love for me to take it out. He was never really exposed to piercings where he grew up and thinks that they are trashy. It hurts my feelings but he proposed to me knowing i have it so clearly its not a deal breaker and its also not the only one i have , its just the only one he doesn't like. He also doesn't like visible tattoos, most of mine can be hidden but i plan on getting ones that i cant and it would be fine in my profession but he thinks they are trashy as well. Im scared to marry him and him not be able to accept my take on beauty and self expression and will eventually divorce me if i take it as he puts it "too far". I think if he loves me he should be fine with what i do to my body but he says i need to compromise and that he would compromise for me but i would never ask him to do or not do anything to his body because i accept him the way he is. advice welcome, rude *** comments will be ignored |

Question: Should I pack up the kids and leave? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:42 PM PST My husband hates me and the kids. We sleep on the couch and have no beds. I just want to leave and get to a healthier environment. I sleep on a bug infested old couch with two girls. He sleeps on the bedroom floor. I would take some money and go live in an apartment on my own. He has money but he never uses it. |
Question: What are the functions of a pastor's wife? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:35 PM PST |
Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:21 PM PST My mom showed me a pic of the woman she caught him cheating with a long time ago, and since then I ve been keeping an eye on him. One day I saw a reflection in the window of my dads car and it was one of his texts and it read the woman s name at the top. So I told my mom a day after that. They had a big fight and my dad moved out for a week. My mom told me that if she catches him cheating again(this is his 2nd time cheating) she ll file a divorce. I dont want that. I ve also seen some condoms, Viagra pills, and some other pills that involve improving your sex. Maybe he sneaks off at night and goes to her to have sex idk, but I hope everything that I ve seen isn t what it looks like. What should I do? |

Question: I think my best friend should leave her husband. What should I tell her?!? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:12 PM PST I have a friend that is going on her 8th yr of marriage to a man who only provides 'his half of the rent'. He doesn't pitch in for food, clothes (they have 3 kids), bills or anything to do with the car. He works as waiter because he is trying to avoid child support for a child he has with another one (before they were married). She's also cried about him not being able to celebrate any holidays with her (bday, anniversaries etc.) because he's always broke. I asked why she wont leave and she said she is scared. I didn't understand why when she is doing about 95% anyways! She is scared to be alone or that she will have to leave in a bad area because she wont be able to afford rent alone (but that's all he pays) I tell her to find a low income place or move into a 2 bed instead of a 3. I don't know what other advice to give her but I feel like she should defiantly leave.Meanwhile she has a career and a degree. He was in the military reserves when they first met but ended up getting discharged (which was nice of them) because he was AWOL on his drills. He picked up an AGR position and lost that because he was tardy all the time. Ever since he has been in and out of careers and when I say in and out I mean a new job every 3 months!!! She is struggling with bills and to keep everything a float. She has cried to me about having to ask her mother for money for her light bills. |

Question: Why does my vagina always smell? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 01:34 PM PST I have no itching or redness, but I always smell down there. Even when I am fully clothed I can smell it. I tried soap made specifically for down there and it still smells. I am sexually active, and It's been going on for over a year, I just try to hide it with spray and stuff. It can't be bad hygiene because even after I take a shower, give it an hour or so and it smells. I'm on birth control pills, but I don't see how that can cause such a strong smell. The discharge is usually always the same, whitish I guess, it only turns white when it dries and makes my underwear all crusty. What could be the cause? And how can I control the smell? |
Question: Odorless chunky discharge? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 12:37 PM PST I noticed a translucent-ish discharge in my underwear . It was slightly chunky and had no smell or odd color. It was like regular discharge but with chunks in it, what does that mean? I haven't had my period yet either. This is a REAL question meant for women's healthy category. I'm not sure why it is changing to pets or relationship categories, but this is meant as an honest question! |
Question: White discharge no smell could it be pregnancy discharge? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 11:29 AM PST |

Question: Signing divorce papers in Florida? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 10:23 AM PST My husband wants me to sign divorce papers (after he gets them) but I don't understand what I will be signing. Last night, when I stated I wouldn't sign them, he told me I had to pack my stuff and be ready to leave on Friday. He would take me where I wanted to go. I have no money, no car (he sold it before moving, after filing joint bankruptcy) no job as I have been sahm for over 20yrs. No friends and limited family. Our youngest is 18, in HS and would want to stay with him. There is nothing to split, but he is employed and I need help. If I sign, would he not have to help me financially? |
Question: I'm married but have thoughts about other men...? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 10:18 AM PST I'm a married woman but I'm in university and sometimes have thoughts about other classmates. I would never act upon it but these thoughts still creep in and I just feel horrible. What can I do about it? |
Question: I get the feeling for sex but then certain things tear me down? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 09:58 AM PST I'm 33. My wife is 30. She is Chinese (not that culture should matter?)... she can be quite dominant and strong... A small misunderstanding about me being locked out escalated with her coming downstairs and assuming I was sitting around on purpose (I had all her phones so I couldn't contact her since she asked me to carry her laptop bag upstairs). She approached me and yelled "f...you"...after I explained things, she apologetic. Our biggest problem is in the bedroom. No caring or attention to connection. I try to please her and she lies there telling me it is taking too long, I'm not hotting the spot, "my kissing (oral sex) is sh***t", etc. Then gets abusive and demands the porn video. I feel utterly useless and degraded. I was in tears and holding my head low. I felt a shock/overload after I finished her- went outside to try and process everything. I came back and she started to put the moves on me but I had absolutely no feeling. I felt so traumatised and worthless. I was the one who initiated for sex. I wish we could feel passion and understanding. I told her before that I feel useless if she watches the porn while I go down on her. It's like I'm not sexually attractive at all to her. So why the other acts of hugs, kisses etc.?? I wish I had a soft woman with the maturity to value fun, safe sex. Someone to connect with and feel good. What are the opinions of others? I am often sad because I'm constantly yearning for what I think is a kind of safe and loving comnection. I am not sure because I haven't been in any other relationship We have been together for 8 years. There's no excitement, no deep feeling (I don't know how to describe it)... she wants kids but I don't at the moment. She just gets angry when I am trying to finish her. Then demands a video. Gets excited by that instead. It feels like she can't be bothered and isn't interested in me sexually. We were compatible before marriage...then after that things went south. |
Question: Is marriage selfish? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 09:36 AM PST The husband keeps the wife all to himself and the woman keeps the husband all to herself both taking away from everyone else. How is this not extremely selfish? |
Posted: 29 Feb 2016 09:13 AM PST My wife is a plain jane kind of woman. She has straight brunette hair, a "cute" face shape, and never wears makeup. She is definitely aging gracefully. But now that we are older, she's getting passed up for jobs because she looks 21 when she's really 34. And nothing is more depressing than being stuck in a position NOT because you don't meet the new job's recommended education/experience but instead because they see you as a child and not a person who would be given respect by their employees. This seems like it would be illegal, but people tell her that she's "not a good fit" all the time. And I keep telling her that being a quiet, "introverted", average woman may have helped her in childhood survive by not being noticed when bullies/teasers, but in the adult world she absolutely MUST be extraordinary if she wants to keep advancing her career to higher and higher pay levels/responsibilities... But this... This picture she found... This just doesn't seem like her. Don't get me wrong, I find this attractive, but it's too bold for her. A person who looked at her (if she pulled this off to the "T") might see her as bold, candor, tough, and uncaring. These are the opposite of my wife's beliefs. She's sensitive, subtle, gentle, and compassionate. I know some of you are going to be like her and say that hair/makeup doesn't say anything about a person and it is just a decoration, but what you don't say is just as important as what you do. |
Question: I am married, and not dating my sister. My husband feels the same.? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:52 AM PST My sister is mean to me. She says I am too happy. It makes her sick. Why is my sister so mean to me ? |
Question: Hubby is driving me crazy? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 08:45 AM PST We agreed to only spend money on what is necessary, since we've working hard to save for a house. Well, hubby went on a wild spending spree this weekend. We have friends that are moving and are selling off all of their large items. Hubby bought a TV from them, and agreed to buy one of their trucks. He worked out a deal with our babysitter's husband to borrow half the money from them and just making payments to them as we can. He'll sell his current truck to cover the difference. Well, now that we have the new TV, he now wants to buy a new bedroom set. I'm not opposed to it, since we could use a bigger dresser, and could consolidate a few storage bins into the dresser. Our kids' need a bigger dresser, so ours will be perfect in their room. But, he still has to pay his friends for the TV. It's a bargain if you ask me, but he forgot that we still to make my car payment and pay the car insurance. I don't know how we're going to afford another car payment on top of mine. I'm concerned about how much the car insurance will increase. No matter what I say, he's insisting on getting the truck. He's essentially made me completely responsible for the household accounting, but doesn't listen when I tell something isn't affordable or it's better to hold off. He's driving me crazy, and I don't know what more I can say to him. Don't get me wrong, the new TV is nice and much better to watch movies on, but we had agreed to wait until we get a house. Now he's saying that we should change the larger items beforehand, since we can't be sure how the expenses with purchasing a house will affect the budget. And then we buy the small things (i.e decor, accessories, and what not) slowly over time afterwards. I do have a separate account for him. For while, he was doing great. He doesn't get that it takes time to save enough for a house, and buying thing unnecessarily takes away from that. He thinks that when he find the house we want, we just go to the bank, request the loan, and bam! I've tried explaining it to him, our babysitter has explained it to him that it's not that easy. Our realtor has even told him we need to apply for financing FIRST, so we know how much we can actually afford. |
Question: Workaholic husband, trying to reconnect but he won't communicate? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 07:38 AM PST I'm trying my best to salvage my marriage. He works most weekends, is very hard to communicate with, makes me take care of both kids like a single parent (15 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter). I tried this am to warm up to him sent him a text that I missed him and thought we needed a date night. He responded right back "I keep telling YOU to set one up". That was it, no other message. That hurt! Am I wrong that he should also pursue me a little too? Maybe I'm beating a dead horse and should move on? |
Posted: 29 Feb 2016 06:19 AM PST Is it to prevent her from getting anything should they divorce? What does this say about the state of their marriage? Canadian couple working/living legally in the US. Add: He works. She is a homemaker. |
Question: How do I convince my wife to give up our son for adoption? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 06:08 AM PST Allow me to make a long story short. The wife does not work due to an anxiety disorder, she can't drive either. I agreed to have the baby with her back when I was working a job which paid almost twice what I am making now, but they went out if business and I haven't been able to find anywhere close to that pay in the same field. I do all the laundry and grocery shopping, all the work, pay all the bills. To her credit she takes care of our one year old well, but that and cleaning the house is all she does. We barely make enough money to provide for all needs. There is no room for any fun. Any issue that arises such as a car issue is an unmitigated disaster. All forms of social services have denied us based on the amount of money I make, but that is because they fail to take into account loans and credit card debt. They'd prefer I file for chapter 11 first, therefore killing any chance of any financial future for life for our family. I don't want to live this way. I don't want my son to grow up poor like I did either. Its no life for a kid, and his financial needs will only grow as he gets older. Ba will not be given to anyone trying to convince me I should try to make this work |
Question: For adults, what do you think LOVE is? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 05:37 AM PST Not love between family members and between you and Jesus. I'm asking love between married people, what is love to you? |
Question: How can My wife call herself a Christian and want to separate and leave me? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 04:56 AM PST I would still work things out with her if she would be willing but I don't think she cares. She wants me to waste another 20-30 years going to church and praying reading the bible and suffering when all it does is wear me out making my life go down the drain where she is. She has nothing and wants to sell the house getting half and destroying our family. Right now I have 2 kids here and the bills are all caught up and we have food to eat because I am working and she is not. I pay her TV bill so she can watch preaching all day and it does nothing for her or me. She threatens me saying I will go to hell if I don't do like she does. She prays often but I also hear her cussing under her breath swearing calling me dirty names. She is hoarding somewhat and I keep throwing stuff away and it comes back again. I want our home to be clean and not cluttered with stuff we don't need. |

Question: I'm in love with my husband's ex-wife, and I could seriously use advice? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 01:58 AM PST I'm a 35 years old woman, bisexual, and I've been married for 5 years. My husband's ex is 32. Me and her have been good friends for a long time. About two years ago we began having an affair. My husband and I have been having problems for the last couple of years. And I turned to her for comfort. Over the last two years, her and I have gotten really close. Last night, she told me that she loves me, and I replied in kind. I'm in love with this woman, and frankly I don't know what to do? I lover her with all my heart. But at the same time I wanna stay married to my husband. Especially considering that we have two children. So what do I do? |
Question: How long should I continue to fight for my marriage? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 01:42 AM PST My husband and I have been seperated for the past 9 months and we have made no real progress as far as working towards reconcilliation. I still love him and want the marriage to work, but it seems that he just wants to push me away. Whenever we get close, he forces us apart again. I'm not sure how long I can continue to break my own heart. When should I let go of this marriage and move on? I would appreciate respectful and helpful answers. |

Question: Would you tell your husband what his mother-in-law says about him? Posted: 28 Feb 2016 10:29 PM PST Ok long story short.. I make more than my husband.. Income wise.. He used to work for Mercedes got injured and they fired him.. He got a job making $13/hour.. So I was making $9/hour.. I wanted nicer things so I landed a job working at Mercedes.. We got a really nice house but both agreed that I would have to keep working at Mercedes to keep the rent up on the house.. I was out at Mercedes for over a year until I got injured. My injury happened while I was off of work but I know it's from work.. So I'm on FMLA.. Had to have surgery, couldn't work, lost the house and ended up living with my mom and her boyfriend.. After we got situated I was focused on healing and recovering so I can go back to work.. Wasn't even there for 3 days and my mom starts badmouthing my husband to me.. Just saying stuff like he should've done this or that or if he was working a better job you wouldn't have lost the house and so on.. Well I confronted her and told her why don't we all sit down and talk about how ya'll feel about my husband and the situation.. Mom was like oh he knows how I feel about him.. So I've been telling my husband everything that has been said.. He was very mad and just absolutely stressed out.. It's getting in between our marriage.. What do I do? |

Question: Ummmm is this normal behavior for my wife to act this way? Posted: 28 Feb 2016 10:10 PM PST My wife will just come up behind me on the couch and try and wrestle me until I push her off then she ll lay there for about 20 minutes happy I just pushed her off. We were in a disagreement the other day and I yelled at her and she started blowing me because it turned her on that I talked to her like that. If I take her phone away from her she wants me to screw her because that just showed I want her attention and she wants it super kinky. She'll come up behind me and kick me in the azz until I turn around and tell her to stop and she'll give me horny eyes because I just restrained her. Wtf is going on? |
Question: Should I be concerned? Posted: 28 Feb 2016 08:03 PM PST My wife and I were talking about sex and things we might want to try. She said she might be interested in trying an open marriage. She said that the only way she would try it is if it was something I was interested in too. It didn't bother me at first, but thinking about it makes me think she might want to see other men. I don't know how I should feel about it. I'm not to worried, but I just want some outside opinions to see if I should be. |
Question: Husbands weight is getting OUT of CONTROL? Posted: 28 Feb 2016 05:41 PM PST When we first got together, he was 5'10 and 160lbs. 4 years , married and 3 kids later, hes now 260 lbs. ANd worst of all, he won't change his eating habits. Today he ordered a HUGE HUGE deep dish pizza and devoured a few huge slices. He eats constantly and binge drinks on the weekends at home. He drinks over 2 cases of beer in just a few hours once a week. He does work and he always says hes going to go exercise, but never does. If he does, it doesn't even matter because his weight just goes up and up because he keeps eating. I am pregnant with my 4th, and I still weigh the same as when I met him. (Naturally fast metabolism) IDK what to do. help BTW, I DO NOT NAG, OR EVEN EVER mention his weight. He probably thinks I dont care about his weight...but i do. I dont want to hurt his feelings |
