Question: I feel like my Fiancé finds me unattractive?..? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 08:27 PM PST I just had our daughter a week ago and before I was pregnant I was really skinny and once I got big in my pregnancy I got bad stretch marks... and after I had her I was scared to show him my body... but I felt confident enough to do so now I regret it... he tells me I'm beautiful still and tells me he loves me but he doesn't touch me like he use to (hugs, hands on my hips ect.) He pats me on the shoulder we don't really even hug. Is it my stretch marks or is it something else???? |
Question: This isn't a question, I just need somewhere to vent.? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 08:09 PM PST This has been the worst 6 months of my life. I feel like I'm about to burst. I lost my grandfather one of the biggest influences in my life, then my husband was laid off, then my grandmother died another huge part of my life, then after 3 years of trying to have a baby (after one miscarriage 4 years ago) we finally concieved, found out 2 weeks later it was ectopic, had a shot to kill it, which didn't work then had to have emergency surgery to remove it on new years eve,and since the husband got laid off we lost our insurance, but before surgery I had an ultra sound and the ladult doing it had the machines sound on, so I got to hear my baby's heartbeat which broke mine even more. And then my dog died suddenly we have had her for almost 9 years. Husband still hasn't found a job, we can barely pay our bills, sure as hell can't pay the outrageous hospital bills. I can't handle anymore bad things. I'm not sure how I haven't completely lost my mind yet. I'm emotionally drained. This must be rock bottom. |
Question: Wife is unable to work and is depressed? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 07:48 PM PST My wife was in a bad car accident last year. She suffered head trauma. It's not that she's unable to work but rather that her former job was a research consultant. She can't do the research and writing required. She gets severe headaches. She has to visit her neurologist and now she sees a therapist and a psychiatrist often for her depression. She tries to challenge herself by reading for leisure and can only do it for a few minutes before getting a headache or what she can do, she can't focus on. Sometimes when she's speaking, she forgets what she's saying mid-sentence. I've encouraged her to find meaningful things to do, saying that taking care of herself and going to her doctor's appointments is a job. She's doing some volunteer work and cooks and cleans around the house. Our daughters are 12 and 14 and notice that Mom is different. So whenever they need something, they only ask me now even though I've tried to explain to them that it's okay to ask my wife things and that it will help her feel better. I am suffering right now not from financial strain or dealing with her disability but that no matter what I tell her to encourage her, she refuses to see any value in herself now because she's not working anymore. I'm used to her being such a strong person and sometimes I feel like she's not even trying and is intent on throwing a pity party. What can I do? I don't want to leave her but sometimes it feels like this rough patch is never going to end. |

Question: My ex asked for our daughters birth certificate? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 04:26 PM PST He just asked for it and he is not on it, never wanted to sign it, and she is 11 years old. He does pay child support after I had to sue and he has it taken straight from his check for falling behind in arrears. He has partial-custody. He said he wants to open a savings account but I know for a fact he has tried to claim her on his taxes every year and it has failed for him since I have primary custody. It states "Father not recorded". Can he get it signed without me? BAM- Paternity was established when I sued for support. |
Question: Do people not know what a prenuptial agreement is? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 04:23 PM PST So I am a Political Science and Econ major who is Pre Law. Though I would never want to get involved in family law , it does fascinate me . It has come to my attention that some people think a prenup can protect future unknown assets like income. It cannot. 1. Everything must be disclosed in a prenup and that is why potential income cannot be protected and stock dividends and trust funds can. 2. Prenups cannot be a condition of marriage and cannot be signed under duress or it is void. 3. After 10 years, your spouse can challenge it and usually wins allomony. 4. In community property states, your spouse is entitled to half your assets regardless, unless in extreme situations. Is that not common sense? How would you explain this ignorance? |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 04:07 PM PST He burned his hand and has a 3rd degree burn on the back of it, and his pinky. He has had 3 surgeries on it and it is wrapped from the elbow to beyond the fingertips, with the splint at a natural curve, to help heal tendons and nerves. He has neuropathy and that was how he had burned his hand. He simply didn't feel it. Worse, it is his dominate hand: his left. He plays the sympathy card with his online friends,(one,a female, in particular) and our tempers have been short. Namely, his. He tells me that "for better or for worse,in sickness and in health," I have to take care of him. I am his wife, not a nursemaid. Any advice ? Oh and i was at peace, while he was at the hospital, for over 2 weeks. Ever since the night he came home, he has been an asshole: verbally and mentally cruel. I retaliate, because I am hurt, that he has not changed at all ) and so, he plays the "poor, defenseless, sick and dying, injured diabetic man.His online "friend," ( Lana) buys into any and all bs he tells her. She thinks he walks on water. And yes, he is passive/aggressive. I do not know how to combat that. His home health nurses, think he is just the greatest, most easy-going, poor, pitiful, married to a b****,man that there ever was. Any advice ? I did, I shoulda included that in my question, Violetta. Sorry, I meant to, but was afraid of going over my letter alotment. My bad. |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 03:56 PM PST I really do not want to talk down my Husband or make him look bad in any way, he is a great husband and amazing man, I just really need some help because I am feeling very much emotionally abandoned. I have fell into somewhat of a depression a few times in the past and with this medical news I am trying very hard not to fall back into those dark times. But it is very hard not to feel deeply saddened when I can't even talk to my husband about how I'm feeling. Every time I try to tell him how I'm feeling or how nervous I am for the upcoming procedures, he just tells me that "People have it worse than you" and "Just don't think about it". Which granted, the second response isn't horrible but it isn't very emotionally understanding. Am I wrong to want him to come hold me what I'm breaking down crying? Am I wrong to want him to say more than a couple of cold words to me when I'm in need? I need help. It's like when it comes to anything emotional, he shuts down and can't talk to me and winds up getting mad at me instead. Can anyone shed any advise on this, please? |

Question: My husband won't give me any money? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 03:01 PM PST He works full-time and has a very nice salary. I'm a housewife because we have three young children (1, 2, 4 yo) that need to be taken care of. He won't let them go to kindergarten or hire a nanny (he says it's because I'm there for a reason), so I can't get a job. However, he's too cautious with money. If I ask him to get something for myself, he starts yelling. I can't remember the last time I bought a piece of clothing, makeup, etc. We eat only what he wants. I have to ask him for everything. I have to beg when I need something (sometimes for hours). When I need tampons or pads, he rolls his eyes. Also, we don't buy toys or clothes to our kids. All the clothes and toys that they have are second-hand. There are only a few that I bought for them, and it's because my husband had given me money for groceries and I saved from that (he doesn't know it). He spends for food, though. A lot. If I spent too much though, he demands the receipt. He says that our children are his whole world, but never does anything for them. He won't even play with them or help with the chores. He gets home, and goes to sleep. I don't get it. He has a very good salary, the house is ours so we don't pay rent, and the bills are a small percent of his salary. When I ask him for money, he yells. When I tell him it's our money, he yells and says it's not ours, but his own, because he's working and not me. I feel like a slave. What should I do? How to convince him? I also spend all day in home. I can't entertain myself. I thought about a rarely affordable Portuguese language course (only 20 dollars a month for four months), but he laughed it off and called me mad and said he won't be paying for that "bull". |
Question: Caught my husband in bed with my sister? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 02:35 PM PST |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 02:33 PM PST This is confusing so I'm going to try to make it easy to understand. My ex gf owes me about $6000 in child support for my child. Her new husband also owes his ex gf about $10,000 for child support. When child support takes the refund for past due, who will receive it? Me, my ex gf and her husband live in the same state and the new husband's ex lives in another. Anybody have anything like this happen before? |
Question: My needs are unmet and love is making it complicated to fulfill them .. What to do? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 01:58 PM PST I been waiting for my needs to met met but I relized My instincts told me to move out but I avoid it for so long 2years. and now I'm emotional damaged inside ! Being in love and married is making it super complicated for me to fulfill my needs . Needs are : living with hubby only or alone . We live with his parents right now . I'm also recovery on not having a mother because she's a narcissist. She raised me sooo bad . I'm really good at pleaseinh people but not myself . I never seem to focus on myself . Moving out with or without hubby will help me make time for me but hubby don't like it . We love spending time together! It's gonna be hard to live without him because I love him unconditionally. Yet we don't even have sex abd we are in our 20s. Sex is another of my needs . He got sex anxiety yet no matter what we do it never happenes!!! Even Making out don't lend to sex ! I waited two years for that as well . I was abused in my teenhood by mother so I never got the chance to explore myself: hang out with friends and do what I like such as basketball . I have a traumatic stress . |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 01:55 PM PST This is the truth. I think she said this because she knows I'm not a breast guy and because she knows we'd never have the $5k to invest in her chest. But assuming this isn't one of those "It'll never happen but I hope the thoughts (cake) of him thinking about it turns him on" situations then this is bullcrap. But if she was serious, then I don't get her. Why would she want implants in her skin that have to be monitored to make sure they don't leak over bleaching her hair and wearing makeup to look more trendy? Seriously, I don't understand. |

Question: Married for a few years, but thinking husband is cheating? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 01:35 PM PST I'm not jumping to conclusions here THAT much, but I'm starting to think he is cheating... I'm just worried, he's working an extra late shift, keep's coming home late in the morning.. Yes, I think these are somewhat of a red flag, but I've been off work for a bit due to a newborn child. He did have a bit of a play boy reputation in high school, but he stopped that habit of his. Should I be Worried? He act's to different, not sincere...but caring..? I know, I know it seem's fake and everything, but I promise it's real. I need real help, and I'm just stuck in a void here. Thank's for the help, and I'll consider the option. I don't want to intrude his personal space though.. Never accused him. Just worried. |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 01:19 PM PST I've been married for 9 years. I have friends. My husband has no problem when I hangout with them..except when I want to hangout with my gay guy friends. I work at sephora a makeup store . the guys I work with are gay. Anyway I'm doing the savage race in march and my friend said he wanted to do it. Hes bigger so I offered to help train him into shape. I am a gymaholic myself . I go to the gym with my husband and by myself . I train 6 days a week for races and stuff. But my husband has a problem with it. Mind you, my husband is doing the race with me to! I invited him to come train with me and my friend but he said no and then told me "I cannot go". Well I don't like being told what to do. But I don't get it, my friend is a gay man and has boyfriend. Lol am I wrong?? |

Question: My wife keeps wasting my money? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 11:44 AM PST My wife and I have two children. I buy diapers and clothes for the kids whenever they need it. I am Saving money to buy my mom a house because hers is already all messed up and broken down. I have saved 18,000 plus the work I do all day everyday. Well, I didn't get anything for my wife for our 5th anniversary. She was hinting about wanting a diamond necklace. It cost about 120 but I don't have that kind of money. So she got me a small basket she made herself and chocolates and a stuffed puppy that was cute and she got me one of those expensive razors that you can change the knives and shaving cream and after share but I told her I didn't want anything. So I didn't get her anything because I wanted to complete the down payment and so she wasted $100 on clothes and she told me that it was revenge. I don't know if I should think about leaving her.? Or what? (We're not married) but I think I should. And my mom says I should because she only wants the money for herself. |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 11:38 AM PST Ok, I need advice like ASAP. Today I transferred $35 from my joint account to my account to cover school fees. Well, my husband flips at me and calls me a bit#$ and then changes his direct deposit to his own separate account. The next thing is after his oath ceremony he started changing on me after that. So, do you think he even loves me or is he making excuses to mistreat me and eventually leave me? Do you think he married solely to relocate here? He never spends time with me anymore and our anniversary is coming up and he still has no plans. Please can you advise me on what to do? Would you be hurt if your value was under $35? |
Question: How often do males give their wives breast massages? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 11:31 AM PST Note: It may tempting for males to consider it a no-no to massage their wives' breasts, massaging their wives' breasts is a way for adult males to show compassion for their wives after the females undergo a successful cancer treatment or if the wife is tired by working as a housewife |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 11:18 AM PST Let's say that you had a dream to be a business owner. Your spouse doesn't want to do any work to help you and actually prefers you stay home so they can watch marathons of tv shows with you like a good lazy couch potato. Instead, you choose to start this business. You put in 40 hours a week at your normal job, then you put in another 40 hours a week at your personal business (that is out of the home). Let's say that you work weekends too because you know that you can't really grow a business if you don't invest your time/energy/sweat into it. Now, let's say the whole time that you're running your business, your spouse is being loyal/faithful and is just watching TV all by themselves but misses you and wishes you didn't do this. They were happy with the income you had, and the lack of wealth you had, just as long as you two can sit behind the tv and watch tv together. Let's also say that your job exposes you to a bunch of exciting things that drains you (overstimulates you) and when you come home you wouldn't have the energy to stay awake (thus absolving you from your life with your spouse). Would you pursue personal interests like this at the expense of your romantic, sexual, or social relationship with your spouse? What if this was college and not a business, would you do it then? What if this was a hobby? I'm asking this because I think that I'm not the only person who would hold themselves back so their UNSUPPORTIVE spouse could be in their life. For those who don't see through this question, this is a codependency question. |
Question: My wife is having an emotional affair...HELP!? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 10:29 AM PST My wife has self esteem issues and has had issues in the past with college and work and she met this guy at work right after her school issue. She was feeling low and this person came along at the wrong time in this case. She just switched jobs to get away from him and it's been two weeks but I caught her email him by simply saying hello. We have a 5 year old and to be honest I know there is usually something wrong with a marriage for this to happen but in our case we as a couple were great and she always calls me her perfect husband. I think it really comes down to her having emotional issues their her child hood. I truly love this women but at some point it needs to stop or I need to move on. I'm the main bread winner that fought through school while she gave up and settled for a low paying job and now she does this to me. I guess the main issue I see coming is my daughter. I'm the more fit parent (her and I both admit to that) but I didn't do anything wrong so now I'm forced with the potential to only see my kid part time. Here is my question, should I write her an email pretending to be him and tell her that it's over? To be honest when we are together everything is going great and I thought with her not working with him anymore it would help fix this. She said she is infatuated by him. My line of thinking is if I can get her to feel unwanted by him then we can truly work on any issues we are having. Like I said, I truly love this women. Also, we have been together for nearly 12 years. |
Question: Husband tells wife it's ok for us to sleep togather? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 10:25 AM PST She used to take me home after work. An she used to spoil me with gifts an drinks an she's beautiful. She told me he's husband said it was ok for her too cheat on him. I guess they sex life was getting old an I got a free pass. Times on fb she told me she wanted to have sex with me bad an wanted to gimme a bj. She was fire hot. Yes we slept togather. They also have a child. But her husband is a lozer while she goes out an prevides for the family. I wish I could beat him up but he has problems with him an he's not retarded at all her just as good as anyone else. He's just a lazy person. I'm a man she's a women an he's a child. Doctor said he couldn't work. He's 18 with nothing wrong with him. I could be way better for her an the kid if I wanted too. But aparently she likes getting walked all over. |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 10:17 AM PST There's a lot more family on her side. I personally do not care, and we have viewed a great castle in her country, which we have been given permission to marry in. But my parents arent happy with it, and claim that it is not fair. Lol @ annonymous. Weve been together for 12 years, I'm 37, shes 30. I'm not asking where we should get married, were getting married in her country. WE both agreed on that. I was just curious if others, whom married one from another country had problems with their parents (like I did), when they made the Decision to marry in their partners country. |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 09:55 AM PST You two didn't break up. He/she died or something. Do you still love him/her even though you're with someone else now? If you do, do think about him/her now and then and cry about how much you miss him/her and wish he/she was still here with you? What if it was your lover that lost his/her ex. Would you get jealous when he/she thinks about her die ex? (real life situation. My cousin's new husband is like that) Do you love your dead ex more or your new lover more? |

Question: Husband talks to his best friend every day? Normal? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 09:27 AM PST Is that normal? I find it weird because as a female I don't even talk to my best friend, mom or sisters that often...there comes a point where you feel smothered right? It just gets annoying when the phone rings everyday and its always him. Or my husband calls him. Like, can there be one day where you guys give it a rest?? I've mentioned this to my husband and he argues they used to hang out every single day when they were in highschool/there early 20s. Okay...but my husband is 32. It just seems weird to me. Is it? Or is it normal and I'm the weird on? I've had these bad dreams that I find out he's bisexual, or that he runs away with his buddies for the single life. I have no reason to think that in real life, however. |

Question: HELP!!! My husband and I sex life has not been the same since? Posted: 23 Feb 2016 07:35 AM PST |
Posted: 23 Feb 2016 12:31 AM PST I come from a very conventional culture so hanging out with a guy when you are married sounded a bit too much for me up until recently. But recently Im experiencing life outside my culture (I have been for 8 years) and I feel like I want to hangout with guy friends. These are very nice guy co-workers who knows how to treat a female friend. My husband is okay with this kinda thing as he wants me to go out more and have more time for myself. But I don't want to tell him everytime I hangout with them. Usually once or twice in two months. Am I wrong? |

Question: Girls only! Does your husband feel comfortable watching..? Posted: 22 Feb 2016 09:19 PM PST My husband is very respectful of me. We have a great sex life and marriage. We went over to my mom s house tonight and her and her boyfriend was watching Showgirls which showed a lot of naked women, sex etc.. My husband just wasn t comfortable with watching that.. He turned on his iPad and listened to music.. I m grateful that he has respect for me.. I just couldn t see my husband masturbating to another woman and he couldn t watch me watching a naked man..He told me that he thought it is not healthy for any type of relationship.. He told my mom that he didn t like watching those type of movies cause I love and respect my wife.. Does your significant other enjoy naked movies or no? |

Posted: 22 Feb 2016 08:33 PM PST I technically wasn't the other woman we haven't had sex and only saw each other twice first time was to see his house he had for rent second time was to see it more througly because it was dark out when I seen it the first time I wanted to see the yard etc well a few days past I texted him any luck as in if he had any luck selling or renting he texted me back with a flirt saying who's this a got little blonde well that's when we started texting we texted a lot we never ment up again we did talk about it but never did. I am in the process of a divorce and I do have children I think I continued texting because to be honest I was lonely but we talked about personal an non personal stuff well we texted for a few months and his wife finds out calls me numerous of times and text numerous of times and a week goes by I finally just texted her back and all I could do was apologize and I explained I was in the wrong and him as well she knows my name and phone number and we both are about 35 mins a way I don't plan on talking to him I deleted his number an hers she claims she posted my name an phone number on fb I don't have fb but I also am sure she knows ppl from my hometown do you think she will bother anymore and if she did put that up there and her fb is private what could be done.
