Question: Why are all of my friends hanging out without me? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 05:27 PM PST Before I start, I'd just like to clarify that my friends and I are in high school, if that helps any. Also, there was an addition to our group a few months ago. Although we were started a little "best friend group" at the beginning of this school year, we're all pretty close. We sit together at a table at lunch everyday, we all have at least 5 classes together, and text each other frequently out of school. The first time we all hung out together was about last December, with the exception of just one of us- the new addition to our group, let's call her T. During the following month, it was another birthday party that we all hung out at and T was actually invited to this one, but wasn't able to attend. Well, T has become closer to me than the rest of our friends. Therefore when she invited some of the group (not including me, and 2 others but I'm not sure if they were just not able to attend), I was crushed. I have most of them added on Snapchat too, so their stories were filled with pictures and videos of them enjoying themselves. Not only did it happen once, but it took place the next day too! So today, I went on Snapchat just to see that they were hanging out again without me. Plus, this time the two others that didn't attend/weren't invited the previous time were actually there. Is it wrong to feel upset and angered by this? Also, if I was to confront them, how would I approach this topic? Thanks for reading. xx |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 05:20 PM PST Hoping she will get message she then starts shouting hey it's only me from number six! Until my dog barks so much I have to answer. Sometimes I'm on the loo or in shower and have to open door. It's pissin me off but don't wanna make enemy of her. I even put notice on door saying pls do not disturbs but that didn't work either.. What's wrong with some people?!! |
Question: My best friend seems like she doesn t like me? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 05:17 PM PST so a few months ago i got in a fight with a friend. she was talking crap about me to other people. we haven t talked since i called her out on it. but my best friend of 9 years is still really close with her. i think its totally fine that shes friends with whoever she wants to be friends with but just recently it got to me. this week she seems to be interested in anyone but me. she kinda ignores me at school and talks to other people when im around her. she also like hooks arms with the girl that was talking bad about me. idk why but that always really bugged me. Anyway, this weekend, she was at the other girls house the entire time. i would snapchat her and text her and she really wouldn t respond. (i didn t contact her a lot). i know this sounds bad but shes really my only friend and we are starting to part ways. am i just being senstive and paranoid? |
Question: Please Help! I need advice.? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 05:17 PM PST I have a really close friend that goes to a different school and has a best friend over there that is legitimately her only friend. that friend of hers is a really spoiled girl and they have a really unhealthy friendship. lets just say the world revolves only around her. she doesnt think my friend has feelings and they argue quite often. she doesn t wanna end the friendship since she will end up alone. I need advice on what to tell her (btw she has already talked about it to her friend and confronted her) and I don t want to start a big scene with that spoiled brat she has to deal with so please help? |
Question: How do I tell my friend that I have a hard time understanding his accent? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:59 PM PST Hi there. I have a friend from Ghana and I sometimes have trouble understanding what he is saying due to his thick accent. I haven't told him that I have trouble understanding him because I don't want to be rude. Anyways, what would be a polite way to tell him that have difficult understanding him sometimes? *difficulty |
Question: I never hang out with my friends? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:48 PM PST Im a 15 year old girl, and i have about 5 close friends. I dont think i have ever hung out with them. I love them and i think they love me, we just dont keep in touch very often besides school. I talk to 1 or two of them texting and everything but i dont ever talk to the other ones. I used to hang out with someone i called my best friend, but we dont talk anymore. She was the only one that i ever hung out with. To come to the point, is it okay that i never hang out with my close friends? I guess i just never really do anything with other people except me family. I do want to hang out with them, but i dont know if they would want to. Do i just ask if they want to? Please and thank you. |
Question: Why is it hard to make a group of racially diverse friends? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:45 PM PST I'm white. I wish I had more friends who were asian, black, hispanic, indian, and so on. I live in a fairly racially diverse place, but if someone comes up to me and starts a conversation, it's extremely likely that that person is white. Maybe it's weird that I wish I had friends who looked different than me, but it just bothers me a little bit that whites seem more comfortable confiding in whites, and the same goes for other ethnic groups. for example, there's a black club I didn't know about on my campus. I went there because my TA has his office hours there. On my way to my TA's office, everyone there stared at me as they ate their lunch, like "what's she doing here..?" i feel that at this point by now, especially in this generation of 10s 20s and 30 year olds who have lived in america their whole lives and have commonalities in their cultural foundations, we should be comfortable making friends with people who are a bit different than us. I am not looking to argue, I am simply looking for opinions on this matter. Thanks :) note: I am posing this question from an american perspective, because I am most aware of the diversity and culture in america. However I do not mean to exclude members of other countries from answering this question |
Question: Do you think I don't mean anything to her? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:33 PM PST I know you'll probably consider this a leap or whatever, but here's the story. So this girl and I have had class together for a year now, and suddenly she started talking to me a lot. Then we started texting. For the most part, she's been the one to carry on conversations and stuff. But then that changed the other day. We had texted most of the afternoon, and then that night I went to a movie. During the movie, she asked what I was doing. I didn't respond until after the movie, and I apologized and said I was watching a movie. She must have gone to sleep, because she didn't read it until the next day. But she never responded. It's been two days. Again, I know I seem crazy, but this is the first time she hasn't really responded to me. It's just kinda weird. I know, maybe she's busy. But I feel like if I meant something to her (or if she "liked" me), she would have eventually texted back... |
Question: Was he acting weird or did I misinterpret this? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:25 PM PST Recently a dude I've known for a while acted what seemed crazy around me.. I was sitting by myself waiting for a class to start in a hall way, there are clear glass double doors which people used to enter the hall and it was early so no one else was around. He happened to be walking into those doors without anyone else there and started saying "hello" before he even got in the building, I didn't know who he was talking to since no one was there...and when I went to go respond I looked up and he immediately looked the other way, then ran into a classroom right next to the doors, stood in the class for about a minute and then walked out and walked towards me, stared at me, so I decided to ask what's up and he just said "hello" and kept walking. It was weird because he forgot his backpack in the classroom and he was walking into like a wall or something... |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:24 PM PST I have this friend who copies a lot of things that I do. It has been on my nerves for quite a while now, and my question is; do I have a right to be annoyed and how do I get her to stop? For example; I got this new backpack and she asked me where I got it. Not knowing what her true intention was I pointed her out which store I bought it from. The following week she bought the same one. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, she started copying my style: choice of clothing, hairstyle, etc. This is the part where I got annoyed the most: I really enjoy writing and when I asked her to review some of my rough drafts (she is the best editor I know), some days later, she started to copy my choice of writing, as well as the characters. She copied my format, and choice of words. . . And even the character s name and characteristics? I m not saying that I m not flattered by her actions. . . But I really want her to find her own style because this has been going on for a really long time. (In middle school, I would share my work with her because of her requests and she would PARAPHRASE my ideas?!) How do I get her to stop? How do I even bring this topic up? I feel as though, I don t have a right to bring this up because I don t own these actions and the style. What should I do? |
Question: Best friend in a mental hospital and I miss her? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:18 PM PST My best friend got admitted to a mental hospital and I miss her so much. And since she has been gone, everything has been turning to crap. I m losing my other friends, and I can t lose her. I miss her so much |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 04:12 PM PST You see, I don't actually care about any of my friends. I only hang out with them because they're so unpopular that makes me feel good about myself. |
Question: I hate being social with a passion but I hate being lonely? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 03:54 PM PST I know it sounds strange but ive been like this my whole life.Im a single 25 year old male who hasn't had a gf in eight years and I literally have no friends. I have coworkers who I crack a few jokes with but that's it, no one calls me or texts me. I can go months without receiving a text or call from someone besides my parents Not even relatives call me. I hate being lonely but I can't hep it, every time I attend a social event I feel like my whole body has the jitters and I start having trouble breathing I once forced myself to go to my cousins wedding and I went into some kind of trance where it felt like I could pick up all the noises and conversations that were going on. I then walked fast to my car while I was severely hyperventilating and as soon as I got inside my car my whole body went numb especially my hands and I started crying really bad. It was weird when I was crying becuase I wasnt too sad or feeling pain, the tears just came by themselves. The hyperventilating lasted like5 min but the crying was like 15 min I always decline invitations and try to avoid conversations because I know the relationship isn't gonna go anywhere I have such a hard time connecting/bonding with people, and I hate to get my hopes up thinking that ill connect with someone so I just end up avoiding people Me and this girl from school have started talking and im afraid of screwing up like I have done in the past with other girls. I dont know whats wrong with m. any advice would be great. |
Question: Friends tickle me all around because I am leaving. Please help? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 03:44 PM PST So I am a teen girl and I was moving away to another city because my parents had to relocate for their job. They will all miss me so I have one last day with them. We all got together in a circle and they said they want to give me something before I leave. They all tackled me and started tickling me. I was laughing a lot. Why would they do it? |

Posted: 20 Feb 2016 03:36 PM PST ever since i started highschool i made a new bestfriend. she is really pretty and all the guys like her and im always with her so everyone kinda knows me as "her friend " they dont know my name only hers and one guy even said i was ugly when i was with her |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 03:26 PM PST Today, I came to realise that I have no real friends. I ve never felt so lonely in my life, I lost the desire to do things because what s the point? now, dont get me wrong, it s not hard for me to meet people or engage in conversations. I know so many people, and I have nobody to talk to. so many people and none of them make me feel comfortable or make me feel at ease. Sometimes it seems okey to me because we re all in that age where we re transitioning from college into the real world and I feel like being alone would help me stay focused and detrmined to reach my goals. but then they re days like this where I feel pathetic vulnerable and weak |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 03:16 PM PST So I'm in college and I have been feeling lonely lately. I don't hang out with my friends anymore because everyone is doing their own thing. I thought when I went to college I would make all these new friends and go to parties and have fun. Everyone says it's the "best years of your life ". I commute. I still live at home. And I don't really talk to anyone. When I do, it doesn't Turn into a friendship. I hate being my age and not going out having fun or anything. I'm so depressed and sad. My high school "friends" don't invite me anywhere anymore. It's annoying. What should I do ? |
Question: Why would an entire family not have any friends? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 03:03 PM PST I don't have any friends, and neither do any of my three siblings. How is that even possible? Do you think there is something wrong with us causing us to not have any friends? |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:58 PM PST I'm 13 turning 14 in April and I'm mature for my age. But I do act weird and crazy at times. I want some new friends. My kik is- aye.itzjen text me if you are the age between 13-15. Hope to meet new friends❣ |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:58 PM PST so I have this one friend who was in my court when I turned 16, so obviously she means a lot to me (so I thought). now all of a sudden she started hanging out with someone from her early childhood, who she stopped hanging out with. and she also started hanging out with another girl who "replaced" me. now they all hang out together and don't invite me. honestly my feelings are really hurt. I hate that they don't invite me to hang out with them. ever. what do I do? |

Question: Do long fingernails tickle more than just regular fingers? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:46 PM PST I have a friend that has really long nails. Ever since she found out I'm very ticklish she has told me that she basically has a superpower against me. She claims that her nails give her super tickling power and if she were to tickle me it would be the worst tickling I've ever felt! I've never been tickled by someone with long nails, so I'm wondering if it is true, Does she really have super tickling powers or is she just trying to scare me for the fun of it? Any info would be helpful. |

Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:32 PM PST So I have this friend who lives 462 miles away from me. Whenever we're not talking, I pace back and forth, and my stomach feels like it's about to explode. No other person's presence, whether physical or technological, has ever affected me in this way. Are these actions just due to the fact that I enjoy my friend's company so much? Or does it just have to do with the fact that I'm a 17-year-old whose angst is through the roof? |
Question: My friend is pregnant, should I stay friends with her? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:26 PM PST We were friends in HS, freshman year of college she went to GA I'm in Richmond so we communicate otp. We stopped talking at the end of October, apparently she asked her cousin to kik me and try to flirt with me and I took the bait. She called me angry that I moved on so quickly and don't talk to her anymore. Now today her cousin kiked me and said she's sorry for getting involved and the girl I talk to called and apologized. Then she said she's pregnant. It was her ex's he got her to take him back and now she tells me she's 2 months along. I come from a long line of family that had children young (I'm 19 she's 21) and I tried convincing her to think it though but she's made up her mind. I'm starting to think, is it worth it? I still kinda like her and she told me she doesn't know how she feels about me. I like her, but I don't think enough to basically be Russell Wilson to her Ciara. Thoughts? |
Question: Is it wierd that i feel so awkward/insecure around my friends? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:15 PM PST So im a 28 year old woman, with 4 close friends, 2 girls(lets call them jane and mary), and their boyfriends. We have been friends for 4 years and do everything together, and im also very close to their boyfriends, in a platonic way. 4 years ago I came to the US for med school from India. I tutored these 2 undergrad girls(who were 20 at the time), and we became close friends. They introduced me to their boyfriends(who were in the army at the time) and I got along with their group, and they made me feel welcome. Since then we became good friends. For starters i feel awkward as a fifth wheel, around them and I am still a virgin(not by choice). I am also 4 years older than mary, jane and both their boyfriends. On top of that, They all are born and raised in the US and I am from India and have a thick Indian accent. The final reason is that physically stand out, from the group and feel like the ugly single one in group. I am 6 4 chubby weighing 250 pounds, dark skinned indian(think minday kaling but a foot taller.) Jane is 5 8 white, with dark hair, tanned skin, medium build(not skinny but not thick or chubby). Mary is Asian 5 8 with similar build to jane(both with volleyball player type bodies). Janes boyfriend is light blonde, and Maries boyfriend is a redhead(not ginger)boyfriends are both 5 6 each, lean(slimmer than their girlfriends), but ripped with defined muscles and a both have six pacs. Weve had many great memories together, and i enjoy spending time with them. They made me feel at home when I first came to this country and have always been there for me. Of all my friend groups I feel closest to this one, and they feel that way about me. Even though I love them, I feel awkward being the tall chubby virgin, 5th wheeling 2 super hot couples. |

Question: My parents wont let me hang out with my friends? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 02:02 PM PST I'm 16, almost 17 and i cant hang out with my friends because my parents say that they dont trust me. I never lie to them or anything, i have full respect for them. But for some reason I have to be home right after school. I was allowed to sleepover at friends n stuff, but now I can't. I can't go to parties, conserts either. How can I possibly fix this. I have tried to talk to them but they won't let me speak. They are just so not fair. My friends have fun everyday without me and if I can't be fun either, I'm afraid they will break up with me:((( |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 01:55 PM PST I miss my best guy friend, but I'm scared to talk to him. I'm exhausted with the highs and lows. I secretly like him, but he alternates being flirty and intimate with being cold and distant. He says he cares and that I'm important and whatever, but Im the only one investing, taking initiative, and making any effort in the friendship. He doesnt even know my birthday, and weve shared 7 birthdays together. He's been more open, but at the same time lying even more, mostly about his friends and what he does, which scares me, so I'm so used to worrying about and trying to help him, I don't even know how to connect with him anymore. But I miss how close we used to be. I don't want to lose him, but I don't know what to do to mend things and be close again. |

Posted: 20 Feb 2016 01:24 PM PST If you find out that somebody is really ticklish do you from that point on do you have trouble looking at them in the same way? Like, a fully grown man or woman that's really ticklish? Does it make them seem like kinda silly knowing they'll jerk and laugh from being tickled like a little kid or something? If it's like a serous guy and you know he's ticklish, do you have trouble taking him seriously? |

Question: Normal for friends to argue then quickly make up as if nothing happened? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 01:04 PM PST Last week I got into a stupid argument with one of the closest people at work regarding another friend I used to talk to a lot but not as much anymore. I was being super childish and immature about it since she was telling me not to be so weird about the whole situation since she was just making an observation and didn't want me to break any friendships off with other people. She was legitimately being civil and caring and I overanalyzed the whole situation and didn't realize she wasn't doing anything wrong until afterwards. After the argument she stopped by my office and said "I'll hope you have a good weekend" and "I'll miss you next week" since i'll be on vacation. I kind of snapped back and said "Well I won't" and she smirked and gave me the "Really?" face and left. I felt like the biggest jerk afterwards. I felt super guilty and I couldn't stop thinking about it because I didn't mean it. Afterwards she texted me back as if everything was normal and we talked normally as if the whole situation didn't happen. Is this normal for things like this to happen between friends because although it was nice having a normal conversation after an argument it felt kind of off especially since the way I treated her. From my experience it takes longer than a few hours to mend any wounds with friends but this turned around super fast. Was she just trying to let me cool off or what? |
Question: Birthday Present-Opinion? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 01:00 PM PST Hello. My ex's birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to give him something extraordinary that would make him feel very special. I don't know how I got this idea ,but I decided to give him a portrait of him and his best friend-who passed away 8 months ago :/ . I paid a professional artist to draw them together like a picture. I thought it was a very good idea at the time, but now I'm having second thoughts. I would like to ask people their opinions on the portrait as a birthday present. Last thing I want is to offend him or make him sad or angry or ruin his birthday. I don't know how he might feel about my present or about me once he opens it and sees it. What do you think people? If someone gave you as a birthday present a portrait of you and your friend would you like it? or not? what would your feelings be towards the present and the person that gave it to you. Thank you a lot. (PS:Him and his best friend were very close. Me and my ex talk every now and then and we are on good terms as well.) I'm not trying to get back with him -_- and he's my friend. he used to be my ex and now he's my friend. i don't need bullshit like "he's your ex for a reason" or "move on" . This has nothing to do about me. This is about his friend and him and the present- jesus -_- |
Question: Just not comfortable drinking.. What do I tell my buddy? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 01:00 PM PST I've been 21 for almost 8 months. In my life I've had maybe 6 beers and 2 drinks of wine. Since my last birthday I've had 1 drink. It was absolutely nasty. I HATE alcohol not only for its flavors but the effects that it has on you as well. See, I have to get into graduate school and I'm TERRIFIED of being caught by the police with even a spec of alcohol on my breath. I've heard the horror stories. Plus I have terrible luck so of course I would be the guy that goes out for the first time and is pulled over on the way home for dwi. It's way too much trouble for me to call for a designated driver too but that's a different story. I don't know how the majority of the world does it. Anyway my best friends birthday is on Monday. We are complete opposites of each other weird as it sounds lol. And he's convinced that he's gonna get me to go out drinking with him that night. I have no interest in going to a bar or club or anywhere near someplace alcohol is being served unless it's a sporting event. How do I tell him that I don't want to go? I'm not going either way so don't suggest that. I just want a good reason to tell him I can't go yet by not looking like a jackass |
Question: How to ask my friend I want to spend my birthday with her? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 12:59 PM PST We're both girls and know each other since 4 years. She's 18 (b. 1998) and I'm gonna be 14 in April (b. 2002). We recently got closer than before. I want to spend my birthday with her! She is literally the only friend I trust and who stood by my side and never left. How to ask her? |

Question: Sticky situation between good friends?!? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 12:08 PM PST So I'm gonna be going to Disney with my orchestra and it's an overnight trip. So you have to pick 3 other people to be in your room. I got in a fight with, let's say, Barbara. So I told her I was switching rooms. I now have a new group. But then we got over the fight but she wants to know if I'm still switching. But the group I'm with now isn't a big fan of Barbara. So I'm leaning towards the other group but then I don't want Barbara to hate me. How do I tell Barbara without her thinking I'm rude or I hate her?! |

Question: How do you respond to be called "the quiet one"? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 11:46 AM PST Every single time I'm in human contact with anyone, one person always has to Bing up my quietness constantly. For some odd reason it sort of hurts my feelings and makes me feel awkward. At the moment, I respond by just smiling but is there any less weird way to respond |

Question: Is my bestfriend distancing herself from me? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 11:34 AM PST okay so she's my internet bestfriend and we hung out for the 2nd time last weekend. well, I've noticed that she has been seeming very depressed lately so I texted her a paragraph telling her I'll always be here for her if she ever feels the need to talk about anything etc. and she replied very boring with "thank you" usually she would reply with "thank you I love you so much❤️" or something but now she doesn't even text me anymore BUT her and I are in an imessage groupchat together and she acts so happy and joyful in the groupchat(she won't even acknowledge me in the groupchat anymore) she even asks the girls in the groupchat(who live near her) if they wanna hangout in a very excited way... example: "HEY DO YOU GUYS WANNA HANGOUT AND GO TO THE THEMEPARK TODAY" and also she knows I hate it when people smoke weed so in the groupchat she said "I'm so high right now, the blunt was calling my name" and it hurts my feelings because I don't know what in the world is going wrong): I love her with all of my heart. should I ask her what's going on? or just give her some time? I feel like a bad friend not constantly texting her making sure she's okay but then again I don't like chasing people. so WHAT WOULD YOU DO? in this situation? please help and sorry if I ranted on her about it, I needed to get it out. thanks. |
Question: How to deal, with your step sister & brother ? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 11:32 AM PST they are only 5, & I just want to be alone in peace & text my friend . they keep running around the house . And she keep wanting me to pick her up and get on my back, I just wanna have some privacy . |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:56 AM PST We've been friends for a long time and I haven't really noticed this until a few months ago. If I compliment her, she will just nod. She loves talking about herself, but if I say anything about myself I feel as if she gets annoyed. When we read eachother's stories, she criticizes my work (which I am fine with) but when I criticize hers she gets very upset. If If she ever comes to me with a problem, then I support her all the way, but if I come to her with a problem, she just brushes me off, saying its not as bad as I am make it seem and that she has gone through worse. For Example: I told her about my stage fright and that I am really nervous for my piano recital. She became very annoyed and said that I should stop being a baby because she dances in front of people all the time and she sometimes gets nervous but doesn't make a big deal out of it. I'm a very quiet, shy, introverted person, while she is very extroverted. She is homeschooled and I go to a public school. We both don't have many friends. Even though there are problems in our relationship, I do still value her as a friend. She is practically the only friend I have so I can't just drop her and get a new best friend. How do I make the relationship more two sided? |
Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:56 AM PST So I have this female cousin. She's 12, and I'm 15.(I'm also a girl) . We fight a lot, and even though she knows she starts the drama, she pins it on me. She gets all immature sometimes, and tells me that when I lived with her, I tried to steal her cats, her boyfriend, even her bratty little best friend. It doesn't matter that she tried to steal my best friend, oh, no. That doesn't matter to her. Yes, I know. She and I are both selfish. I want to ignore her, really badly. The thing is, she has the worst mother ever and her brother treats her like crap. Her dad's in jail. Her best friend is a fair-weather friend, and I feel like if I can't be there for her, who can? So should I cut her off? |
Question: Please give us some suggestions on how we can say thank you? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:54 AM PST I work for a company that is laying off people mostly women because of lack of business. Many of these women are single moms and their job is their only source of income. The company told us that if we upgraded our skills to use a computer it would be easier to find other jobs in the company. They got a former employee Bill to volunteer to train us on computers on our lunch hour. Bill also on his own time spent many hours at night and weekends training us. It was hard work for us but luckily we all found other jobs with the company. Bill is a 22 year old cute single guy that we all love what he did for us. We want to do something VERY SPECIAL for him to show our appreciation. Any suggestions? What can a bunch of gals do for Bill that will he will remember for a long time? Guys, what would be the BEST thing we us girls could do for you that would make you say "THAT WAS GREAT"? |

Question: How should I feel about what I did to him? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:46 AM PST I went to my high school class reunion recently. My classmate Joe was there. Joe was the guy who helped me with math so I could pass the math course. Without his help I probably would have failed math and had to do another year at school. Joe had asked me for a date several times and I had turned him down. Amazingly he kept helping me with math after I turned him down for a date. Joe had the most beautiful wife I had ever seen. I learned later that she was a swim suit model. Was she ever gorgeous. All of my female classmates wanted to talk to Joe and especially his wife. I learned from them that he was a VERY successful businessman in California. He owned several companies and was a multi millionaire. He lived in a 5000 sq ft home in Malibu California next to the ocean. I came to the reunion in my old Chevy. He came to the reunion in a private jet. Suddenly, I was VERY depressed. That could have been me living the luxury life if I had not been so stupid when I was in high school. I must have been out of my mind refusing to date Joe. I wanted to tell Joe how sorry I was for refusing to date him in high school especially since he had been so nice to me. Should I have told him that? What do you think? Was that a normal reaction I had or was I just feeling sorry for myself? |

Question: Do you think they would believe we were reading the bible? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:42 AM PST I was at a restaurant waiting to be seated for lunch with 2 of my female co workers. Walking out of the restaurant was this gorgeous woman. She had a figure to die for. 36G would be my guess. She was showing a lot of cleavage. She came over to me and gave me a hug and said "It is great to see you again George. How have you been"? We just talked for a few minutes and then we were seated in the restaurant. Just before we parted, she gave me her card and said "let's have lunch some time to catch up on old times". The last thing she said was "We sure had fun in the back seat of your car when we were in high school didn't we"? My co workers immediately said who was that beautiful woman. I told them it was an old high school girlfriend from 20 years ago. They wanted to know what I was doing in the back seat of my car with her. Can someone suggest a answer to their question that would not make me look bad? I think everyone reading this knows what I was doing in the back seat of my car but I can't tell them that. I thought I might tell them we were reading the bible. Do you think they would believe that? |
Question: What do I do with my life ? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:38 AM PST I just graduated highschool.. They let me leave early during the year because I had enough credits . My 18th birthday isn't till July, and I plan on moving in a buddhist temple then , because I can stay there for free. But what the hell am I supposed to do with my life from now till July? I have a job , but after work I never know what to do, my boyfriend is moving to California tomorrow and I usually spend all my time with him.. I hate being home with my parents , I love them but all they do is watch tv. I don't have many friends anymore since highschool ended , I feel like I've been losing touch with all of them .. It's like the days pass by and I do the SAME thing everyday, wake up and wonder what I'm going to do, smoke weed then end up doing nothing productive , but I don't even find pleasure in doing things anymore , because I don't remember what I used to do on a regular basis. I just feel like everything is changing so fast , and I literally don't know what to do for these next months , having my boyfriend move to a different state is going to make it even harder , |
Question: I can't feel like I have a bond with most people.? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:33 AM PST I don't know what it is, but I feel like most people aren't really 'people', if that makes any sense.. Their biggest fear is public speaking or a spider the size of their hand. There's nothing that keeps them awake at the late hours of the night, or that makes them cry themselves to sleep. They don't have anything like a dark secret, and if their life was like a roller coaster, the biggest bump they've experiences won't make anyone yelp in surprise. You can't have a deep conversation with them, because whatever it is you've got to tell them, they won't understand it one bit; they've never experienced such things. This is how I feel about most people; people who I can barely call my friends because of this. I can't understand why I can't bond with them even if they're so easily readable. I don't feel like I need to be friends with them, but even if I wanted to, there would be no way for me to feel close to them. That's probably the reason why I have such a small group of people who I call my friends. It's not like these people don't want to be my friends, and I've got a lot of them who think they actually are, I'm just the person who doesn't feel that way. Does anyone else feel the same way? Why am I feeling like this? |
Question: Why is my friend so freaked out about this misunderstanding? Posted: 20 Feb 2016 10:30 AM PST I stayed last night at a friend's house to finish a school project. It got late so she said just stay. I called mom at work, she was busy, she just said Ok. So, my friend set up an aerobed next to her bed, when we were ready to go to bed I took off my clothes and laid down, and she freaked out. She said do you sleep like that and I said yes. I've always slept like that since I can remember. At bedtime mom always takes off her clothes and had me do the same too. She says your body needs to breath and that you rest better. I explained all that to my friend and she still is giving me a hard time... |
