Question: Husband has no interest in any level of physical intimacy.? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 08:48 PM PST I have been married for 12 yrs. I'm not fat and my friends say I'm good looking. My marriage was arranged and my husband has no interest in physical intimacy - sex, hugging, cuddling, holding hands, none of this.. He is a good man and a good father but I can't bear the lack of intimacy anymore. I feel like I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I have expressed my discontent to him several times but he says this is how he is and if I loved him, I would accept him just the way he is. But well, what about the way I am? I crave for intimacy.. He would not go to a counselor. I talked to my physician, an older lady and she said it very well may be his natural state and nothing may be wrong with him physically or emotionally. I'm growing increasingly unhappy, lonely and depressed with time. I have also developed low self esteem. Don't know how to cope with this. How do I spend the rest of my life like this? |

Question: Is he cheating? Weird story? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 08:34 PM PST It s weird. Last night my 3 yro son and I slept over at my parents house and my husband went out drinking with friends but we were talking on the phone constantly. I think the only time he couldn t account for was exactly what time he got home but he claims that he remembers goong home alone. This morning i get a call from him asking me whether i own a pair of black lacy underwear (g-string) which i know i dont, he found it on the bathroom floor this morning.. Um....there were pubic hairs on it too. first thing that comes to mind is WTF But if he did have someone over, why would he ask me that question? Why not just throw it away. I asked him to take a pic of it and he did. So he must not be feeling like he did something right? Or is he feigning innocence just to throw me off. Here are some possible scenarios: 1) couldn t remember he slept with her (need opinions on this one guys) 2) he cheated, remembers but was still tipsy this morning and really didn t connect the dots that it was from last night 3) he didn t cheat, the maid dropped dirty laundry on the floor by accident after collecting other dirty laundry from his sister s room (we live with his family). 4) he has a crazy ex that keeps planting "evidence" for me to find - a bit far-fetched 5) aliens or he has a double personality Need your thoughts! When i try to ask him more he keeps on saying "if you were gonna be so upset about it i shouldn t have told you". Well, maybe he shouldn t have. Distressed, K |
Question: Why is my boyfriend of 19 years refusing to sign a prenuptial agreement? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 07:19 PM PST My boyfriend of 19 years wants to get married. I told him that I would, but he has to agree to a prenuptial agreement. He says that after 19 years together, I should completely trust him.s He won't sign one, and I refuse to marry him unless he does. I was burned very badly by my ex-husband, and I refuse to be burned again. I'm doing to protect myself, and I don't think that there's anything wrong with that. @ Anonymous, my boyfriend knows what happened to me. I love him very much, but he is the who wants to get married, and I dont want. I'm marrying him to make him happy. However, I have to protect myself, my property, and financial future. I want it clearly understood that what's mine is mine, and what's his is his. I don't want any financial ties, and I don't want him to have any access to my money or assets, unless it was an emergency. @ Johnny B, I'm 43 years old. I was 18, when I married my ex-husband and I was 21 when I divorced him. He got 1/2 of my inheritance that I had received from my grandparents, and half of the equity of the house that I had inherited. Plus he wiped out my bank account, and gambled away my money. He also ran up credit cards in my name. That asshole financially ruined me for a very long time, after the divorce. I think you can understand why I am insisting on a prenuptial agreement. |

Question: Does temporary custody turn into permanent custody? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 07:08 PM PST My wife and I divorced about 10 years ago. At that time she got temporary custody of our child. I have always assumed all these years that that meant she had custody of our child. Now the school is asking for custody papers and all I can find is temporary custody papers. So my question is did the temporary order run out and I now have joint custody or something? Or does she still have temporary custody? |
Question: Why do my husband and I get looked down on? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 06:37 PM PST |
Question: Why my neighbor acting funny? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 06:27 PM PST My neighbor is extremely INSECURE to me. She said she wanted to leave her husband because he was too lazy and didn't want to work, but it just seems that she was just mad that he doesn't want to what she wants all the time. Anyways i was sick at one point and the only person that was there to talk to me and support me at the time was her husband. Everyone thought i was "crazy". not saying that he cared neither did i say i was important to him or what i was telling him about my life stories but at least he cared enough to listen to me. All my neighbors were sitting down outside talking and my grandma blurt out that i said the guy was my best friend in front of his wife and ever since then she seems to want him back. She's always complimenting me on how pretty i am and how much she wish she was like me. One day she's cool with me the next she's being a total ***** ESPECIALLY when her husband is around and she always embarrasses him in front of me and my sister and other strangers and she's very abusive to her kids I guess seeing that his husband is nice to me make her feel a certain way. Anyways he's super nice to me and i admit if he was my age i probably would of took him away. But I'm not interested in the guy because I'm 20 years young and see him as a good father figure. IDK what happens behinds close doors but she seem extremely controlling and narcissistic. Any advice? Also i notice this type of behavior from my other female neighbors. |

Question: I'm a young person whose never been married. What is marriage really like? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 03:04 PM PST A big part of me really wants to get married. I love the idea of being married to my best friend. I love the idea of sharing my life with someone who loves me as much as anyone in the world and who I love back. I love the concept of having such strong mutual commitment. I love the idea of marriage being the deepest, strongest love that two people share for each other.. But is all of that real? Do married people really share the deepest strongest love for one another? I never hear a mom say she 'fell out of love' with her son or a sister say she fell 'out of love' with her sister. If there's a kind of love you can fall 'out of love' with it seems to me that kind of love is weak, especially when compared to other kinds of love. When you are married for years do you honestly continue to feel like your spouse is your best friend? Does resentment increase in marriage until you can't stand to be around the person? Or does marriage just get stale and boring? Do people honestly believe that their spouse is the best decision they ever made after they've been married for 15, 20, or 30 years or is that just something they say because they feel like they should? I guess the heart of my question is what is marriage really like? I know what Hollywood portrays it as, but what is it really like? Please be honest with me. If these ideals aren't right please correct me and tell me what marriage is really like. That's the whole point of this question. Don't just tell me I'm young and naive. Tell me what you know that I don't |

Question: Would you be friends with your ex husband if he did this? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 11:16 AM PST Would you be friends with your ex husband(you have children together) if he was investigated by authorities for looking at child porn on more than one occasion and he can no longer be around your children unsupervised because of it? |
Question: Shouldn't the wife come first? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 10:57 AM PST Recently told my husband that there wasn't anything to eat in the house. He was working from home at the time. So I realize he can't do much. Later when he takes our daughter out to a church activity he stops and gets her McDonalds and doesn't both calling me and asking if I want any. He jumps to help her but when its me he's not as quick and I have to spell it out. |
Posted: 12 Feb 2016 10:18 AM PST I have told myself at least 20 to 30 different "marriages" I could have with my wife in the last 4 years. All of them either require me to control my wife to get her where she needs to be in this vision, or they require me to be someone I'm not in order for her to get what I feel she deserves. None of them are even a mild variant of what we have right now, they're all just fantasies that COULD come true if people were cooperative, but they won't come true because everyone is rebellious and an individual (including me). But why is it so seductive to have these thoughts? Why do we waste our time dreaming about things that can't and will never come true? I honestly think of solution after solution to all of my problems in my life, even ones that I created in my head (which are not all of them), and yet each and every solution requires a bit of creativity, imagination, and cooperation to put into action, thus nothing gets done. I think I do it because I never want to lose hope like many people in my situation do. But I do find it that many of us try to picture a "perfect solution" to a problem, and some of us are better at making it a perfect solution for our spouse than others, but this is nothing more than a dream that will never be real... By the way, my wife and I love each other but our marriage is boring and repetitive - that's why I feel the need to dream, to make our life more fun and pleasurable. But why is it so seductive and easy to fall into this trap/lie? I've put into action about 15 of the 20 to 30 dreams I've had. All 15 have failed and returned me BACK to where I am today (and was 4 years ago). If insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, then what is doing something different over and over again and getting the same results? |
Question: My Husband is so boring. Help? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 10:07 AM PST So my husband is great. He's got all this great qualities and works all week, off on the weekends. But he is so boring. All he ever wants to do is sit around and watch TV. Before and after the kids go to bed. On the weekends, he just wants to stay home, and on top of that he never wants to actually spend time with us when he's home. He just wanders around the house doing his own thing. We never go out. We can never have friends because he always wants to be home. I'm a stay at home mom so I'm home constantly. He never wants to go have a quiet dinner to ourselves for an hour. None of it. I feel so bored all the time and I can't handle it much longer. I've tried talking about it. I just get the "okay we'll definitely do that more" and it never comes. What should I do? |

Question: Will my husband come home? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 09:58 AM PST My husband moved out last month got an apartment and I'm unsure if he's living with his mistress or not. Question: Does my ex wife still loves me? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 08:35 AM PST I had an unexpected meeting with my ex wife (we divorced last year) and we had this conversation. She started to cry and asked for my forgiveness! She said "I just want you to know that i'm sorry for everything i've done, forgive me" I told her "I'm sorry" as well and she said that her life is horrible, she lost everything, lost the good life we had. She told "You have no idea how i'm still suffering, you don't know the life i'm having right now!" She want me to be happy, live the life that i deserve as she's trying to move on! Right now I have a girlfriend and she is engaged! Anyway i think i still love her, but it's over it doesn't matter! I'm the one who wanted the divorce, almost 8 years married...there was no cheating, nothing. We just divorced because things wasnt working out anymore! Do you think my ex wife still loves me? |

Posted: 12 Feb 2016 07:46 AM PST My husband has a job making about $14 an hour and gets about 35 hours a week. Seems like good money right? well it doesn't go very far these days..especially since he was ordered to pay child support (despite having the kids 50/50 but that's another story) Basically he can pay the equivalent of half the bills but has absolutely no money to save or contribute to groceries. I happen to work full time and make $15 an hour. I voluntarily work overtime, about 10 hrs a week, so that we can have extra spending money or money to build up a savings. My husband is content with making this minimal amount (no extra to save) in the mean time I sacrifice my free time every week to work overtime so we can get ahead. my husband sees no problem that we don't have a significant savings..he just thinks "it will all work out" if something happens and we can put it on a credit card and work to pay it off. Should I just stay content that he has a job or is it wrong that I bring up there's other jobs out there like factory work that pay $20 an hour, etc. Keep in mind I go for promotions every year to increase my pay rate and work way more hours a week than he does. this year I grossed $40,000 due all my overtime and he grossed $26,000. Its not so much about the numbers but being content with doing minimal I've also tried telling my husband.. $14 isn't that much money.. but he seems to think it is since it's like double minimum age |
Question: Trying to leave husband, should I tell him I'm moving out? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 06:55 AM PST my husband has been verbally and emotionally abusive for most of our marriage. 99 percent of the time was fine but when I would forget or lose something, or break something, he would unleash a verbal assault on me. I told him I was leaving and he has gotten much better. However it still comes out from time to time just not anywhere near the frequency it was. I feel like the frequency should be 0 however, and I don't know if he is capable of that. I just put down a deposit on an apartment to move out. Should I tell him I am moving out or just do it? I am afraid he will convince me to stay. But I feel bad just moving out and not saying anything. There will be a big financial drain carrying on 2 residences and I feel he has a right to be part of the decision. What should I do? |
Question: Do I have to get anything for my wife on Valentine's Day? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 04:17 AM PST I hate Valentine's Day and I don't see the point of it. I have been with my wife for almost 5 years. Before we got married. She gave me a teddy bear and candies. The next year when we were already together she gave me a card. Of course, I got her a teddy bear too. But she got something on her birthday and Christmas even though they weren't expensive gifts. I just don't like wasting my money on something so dumb. Yesterday I was helping her get our son out of the truck and she said told me, "just get him out and don't look behind." And she tried to keep me from looking. I asked why. She told me"because I bought you something and I don't want you to see it now. It wouldn't be a surprise anymore." I immediately said,"oh my god!" In an annoying voice! Because I don't want to have to buy her anything. She just turned around and got off the truck but hasn't mentioned anything lately. I already bought her a 3DS game for Christmas and I don't want to have to get her more stuff. Last year, she gave the card she bought me away to her sister in law who gave it to my brother for V Day. And I don't if I expect her to do that this year. Should I have to get her something? Just so I can shut her mouth? She's really into holidays. |

Question: Is it normal for my husband to constantly go to his parents house? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 03:12 AM PST We are in our first year of marriage about 8 months in... And my husband visits his parents usually about every other day. We Live 20 minutes from his work, and his parents are about 10 minutes from his work. So he'll go over there about half the time after work. In addition he eats at least one meal Friday and one meal Saturday with his parents without fail. At first I would try to come with him but whenever we're there his mother dotes on him sitting him down serving him what she can, making comments to like" oh dear that sweater smells, someone should be doing laundry!" Then laughing and looking at me, because we all know who that someone is. Hilarious. It may just be meaningless comments but it seems like a lot of her comments are technically ok but kind of rude. Anyway at the end of the day she is my mother in-law so there's nothing I can do about it, but the main problem is that my husband is constantly going there. I feel like he's running away from me all the time to where he doesn't have responsibilities, and he'll be doted on 24/7. I try but I can't dote on him like his mother does and it's just really hurtful that I'm always left behind. I've tried speaking with him about it but he said that I have to understand that his mother gives him guilt trips and he feels bad for leaving her ( before we got married he was living with his parents) so she needs him there for her. I just don't know what to do, and how this situation can change... |

Question: Divorce with two dogs in mind? Posted: 11 Feb 2016 11:02 PM PST I'm in the state of Ohio. I am going to be getting a divorce. I have an emotional support dog and I have a puppy that are bonded together. In court, what would happen with my dogs? Would my husband get them? The only property we have between us is the furniture in the apartment and his truck (my car is leased). I'm afraid the two dogs would be split up and am considering not getting divorced if they would be separated and taken from me. Please no nasty comments; I really do need help. |

Posted: 11 Feb 2016 10:47 PM PST My husband says I cheated on him with his own nephew. I told him I had a past when I was younger where I slept around so he thinks I'm some sort of slut. I hate this it's been over a year he's accused me of this, his nephew is only 14 and I'm 18. When my husband drinks he always brings this up it bothers me so much. I've never even touched his nephew he assumed that I've done all this sneaky **** which has never happened. He wont stop at all I feel like he wants me to just say I've done it. He swears its true but says he doesn't have any idea if its true or not thats why hes still with me. I dont want to admit to something I've never even done |
Question: Partner watching porn? Question: What is it like to be a widow? Posted: 11 Feb 2016 09:19 PM PST a couple of my grandpas friends spouses passed away last year, and just wondering what it is like to lose a spouse? Anyone have/had this experience? Do you feel lonely and want companionship from someone? Or do you prefer to be alone? If you ever had to help some one that lost a loved one, what did you do to help them and why? Did you offer them your phone number in case they wanted company or go somewhere and get out of the house? I sent someone a letter that talked about myself and i expressed my condolences to her about her husbands passing, he died from cancer, and after the letter gets to her house, i wonder what she will think? I did give her my number in case she needed anything. If you do give out your number, do they call you up or not? Do you think they prefer alone time and not want to visit with anyone? i did send her a friend request a while ago but she didnt except it, so i thought she didnt remember who i was so i suggested friends to her and she didnt except it either, so I'm wondering if she doesn't know us that well? I think the letter would be helpful And its not an odd question |
Question: Is this considered cheating? Posted: 11 Feb 2016 04:55 PM PST If a man is married and receives nude photos of his ex wife and ex girlfriend (he has 1 child with each) his wife finds the photos in his email. Some were sent to his email from his cell phone. The pics were stored in a personal file. He say's he didn't sleep with them......in his mind he didn't cheat in her mind he did! What do you think? |
