He has always worn these hair ties on his wrist, recently me and my friend asked him why he wears them and he wouldn t say, but about a month ago he told me one night that he loved this girl and she meant the world to him and he wanted to marry her and one morning he woke up and found out she had killed herself and it devastated him (thus the reluctancy to let people in) it s a long story but that s the jist... I was shot down, I m not angry but I wish they could have come up with a better excuse or at least not said "maybe another time." I know she's struggled with a thyroid disorder which can cause weight gain and she comes from a pretty fat family. She weighed about 200 when we met and has stayed around there until about a few months ago. She kind of started just eating more and she has gained a ton of weight. What's weirder is its either like she's in denial or she hasn't really noticed as she hasn't taken the time to get new clothes yet. She weighs about 245 right now and she still wears shirts that sometimes hardly cover her belly which is completely muffin topped now because all her pants are super tight. Every morning it takes forever for her to get dressed cause she has to literally force her pants up. She's really jiggly now and it's just kind of sad. She seems really happy but it's almost like she doesn't care cause I've seen her grab her belly before so she definetly knows it's there...what should I do. |

We both like each other, and we both say we do openly. Something happened yesterday that was really hard to understand for me. We got in an argument. We're both in college, but I'm in dorms so I can't actually have her over often. She seemed fine with us hanging out at her place until yesterday. You see the day before yesterday we made out hardcore, maybe fiddle around a bit. Before this I was supposed to leave because she was going to have to get up early tomorrow morning for classes. Just one quick kiss turned into an extra 3 hours of making out and feeling each other up. This shouldn't be a problem I'm thinking, but apparently it was. You see I thought we were having fun, we were both enjoying ourselves and she seemed happier than I'd ever seen her when I left that night. Next morning, she texts me and pretty much says she wants to go back to just holding hands and barely hanging out. I mean I understand where she's coming from and maybe we were going too fast, but she also says she doesn't like hugging, kissing, cuddling, or really anything. She says she never wants it. She's also completely furious with me over it all, and she missed her class in the early morning because she didn't wake up in time. SOMEHOW this is my fault? Why are we going backwards? She enjoyed herself tremendously, and now she wants to go back? She even wants to stop having me over as much? What's up? |

He was first emotionally abusive, then it escalated to verbal and finally physical abuse. He would call me a slut, easy, *****, ****, etc. Also he kept me from my friends and family a lot and even got me to turn against some of them. And the physical abuse was slapping me in the face, throwing me across the room, grabbing and leaving bruises on my wrists, putting me in choke holds, etc. I feel like I won't be able to be in a normal relationship ever again, I'm not confident enough with my body, because he would make fun of my physical features like my hair, and the size of my chest. I easily get upset and it's very hard to express my feelings. I also always compare myself to the other girls the guy I am interested in has dated, is friends with, etc. I don't know where to turn or where to start because I can't afford therapy at the moment but I want to get better. Is there anyone else that may of gone through similar things and could give me advice? |

All he replied was "oh no worries" and I assumed he was gonna text me so I didn't answer. It's been two days and he still hasn't texted or called me or came in to the store again.
