Question: Best summer job out of these? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 02:02 PM PST I've never had a summer job before, but I'm planning on getting one this summer. I'm 19 years old and I'm planning on working about 25 hours a week. These are the summer jobs I'm considering: - Six Flags (water park or amusement park) - movie theater - checking IDs at outdoor pool on air force base - Dunkin Donuts - Pool lifeguard (would have to get certified though) Which one do you think would be the best summer job? Thanks! |

Question: Do you think my son will ever forgive me? Homosexual.? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 12:37 PM PST My oldest son is now 16. From a very early age (about 4) you could just tell he was "different." He was really feminine. But I mean, he was just a joy to be around. Always making me laugh. Sure he wasn't the son I expected, he didn't like sports or cars or even dinosaurs but trust me, he was and still is one of the best kids ever. He told me as young as age 10 that he thinks he's gay and by age 14 he told me he was. Thing is, my youngest son is 7. He's like me as a kid and he's everything I expected my son to be like. He loves basketball and football just like I did. Well, last week, my older son painted his little brothers finger and toe nails with black polish. I asked my youngest if he wanted it like that and he just shrugged his shoulders then said "I guess." I can tell it was my oldest idea so I just said "Don't expose him to stuff like that." We had a mini "argument" and I accidentally said "He's not like you, he's just a normal little kid." I don't no why I said it but I did. He's been giving me the silent treatment all week. I really hurt him. I keep apologizing and he basically told me "I'm not mad, I just can't look at you the same, I know how you really felt now." What can I do to get my kid back? Please help!! |

Question: Do you think he liked the valentines thing? What do you think he thought of it? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 10:37 AM PST I gave out valentines to all my friends at school including my guy teacher, Coach Trey, I gave him a box of heart chocolates just to be nice. At first I thought he wouldn't like it because he's a high school coach and is all into sports, but he's been an awesome coach to me, he always says hi to me and asks about how I'm doing a lot. so I thought I'd give it. He looked up to me and had a huge smile on his face and said "thank you so much Abby! How sweet of you!" Do you think he liked it? (I'm asking these questions because I was really nervous about giving it to him in fear of him not liking it) |

Question: I think my brother might be gay? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 09:55 AM PST He's 14 now. He seems pretty normal. He plays football and swims a lot. But he doesn't talk about girls much at all. Most of the singers he's into are young male singers. Also, he has this same boy over to do homework and play video games a lot, or goes to his house. And right before he comes over, my brother will tidy up his hair and put on deodorant, and mouthwash and stuff. And last week when his friend was over to study/game, I was upstairs, and all of a sudden I realized it was really quiet. I thought his friend had gone home. So I came down to make sure my brother had tidied everything up. His friend was still there. They weren't really doing anything. They didn't see me. But they were sitting really close and might have pulled away from each other. I don't know, but I think they might have been kissing. Then a couple days later I found this picture (BELOW) on his computer. Don't get mad at me for invading his privacy, he left his computer open AND I'm in charge of making sure he doesn't do anything that would get him in trouble. I don't know what to do. I think my brother might be gay. What do I do if he is?? Should I be okay with it? I've never been faced with something like this. How should I deal with him? Should I tell him he can't have his friend over anymore? Or let them keep hanging out? I'm pretty much in charge of him since I live at home, pay rent, and my parents work all the time and travel. |
Posted: 13 Feb 2016 07:40 AM PST We got into a fight last night about me telling my parents on her about something she doesn't want them to know about. She got really angry and ended up fighting for a while and but I'm not allowed to hit her. I thought she was over it until she came in my room bothering me. I kept telling her to get out but she didnt so I started to shout for our older brother (our parent weren't home). She got more mad and held me down on my bed and pushed my pillow on my face and I couldn't breathed. At first I though she was just messing with me still but then I started to panic and my chest got really tight and I was trying to push her off me but I couldn't. Then our brother came in and pulled her off and yelled at her to get out. I don't want her to be mad at me anymore but ever since then she's been more mad. What should I do? |
Question: Have you ever had a friend? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 07:15 AM PST That was so beautiful, like model innocent high sex appeal beautiful, but shy? The kind of woman people want to protect or hit in the face because she is that pretty...and doesnt see it? My friend will not even go out with me, even though she is married because we live in a small town and women naturally hate her. We stopped off a few year ago, at a bar after going out to eat, just for one drink I had convinced her, only one drink. There was a drunk patron who instantly wanted to fight her, that was sitting at the other end of the bar and didnt even know her. All her old friends husbands and boyfriends get infatuated with her, even when they dont know her personally. Have you ever had a friend like that? I am not threatened of her, but I dont have a boyfriend or husband. She is not a threat to them. Her sister is very pretty and looks like her, she sleeps around ALOT and I think that's why they hate her, too. Im not sure, but she is one of my best friends and I want to help her to not be shy or to not be targeted. How can I help her overcome this so we can go back to the way things were before she got depressed over this constant small town drama? She is my best friend and I am gay, so she is not a threat to me. She is not a threat to anyone, really. Is it the wrong environment for her to be in..I want to help my friend. They are beating her up all the time with rumors, threats, sabotage, trying to destroy her marriage, and hate on her constantly. She's not like that. She refuses to go around them or go out. So she stays home. I spend a lot time at her house with her...but I dont think its healthy either. |

Question: I filed for an uncontested divorce and we have 2 children.? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 06:11 AM PST I can't take it anymore people keep saying u should go to counceling, work it out.. I don't want to work it out I warned her over and over and told her what I needed.. She would go out 3 to 4 nights a week after I get home form working all day and she would stay out til 3 sometimes 4 in the morning. I would be pissed we have an 8 yr old and a 1yr old. The 1yr old from the time he was 4 mths old would cry all night because he wanted his mom.. I had to nurture him.. And stay up til he fell asleep then I could try to get a few hrs sleep before work at 7am.. She would come home sloppy drunk.. I couldn't even talk to her because she couldn't remember or understand what I was saying because she was to wasted... She has gotten 2 dwis in the last 4yrs.i bailed her out of jail, my car was wrecked and impounded I had to pay to get it out and get it fixed, I paid her lawyer fee's.. And she doesn't work.. She thinks just because she cooks and cleans that I should be happy with that.. She blames everyone else for her problems.. She says u make me drink, my kids are a trigger for me to drink, and my family my mom all of them make me drink.. I know she had a ruff child hood.. But we are adults now with 2 kids of our own.. I have to move on I cannot deal with this anymore.. She calls me a quiter.. And her family does too.. They said I was her hero because I put up with her stuff and leveled her out.. She would throw temper tantrums when she didn't get her way. |
Question: Is it wrong to have a baby when the child s father might not want it? Posted: 13 Feb 2016 05:34 AM PST My boyfriend is the love of my life and for two years, we have had a great relationship. We had normal arguments but we focused on being supportive and respectful. In Dec, he proposed, we were going to get married in Oct. I had my IUD removed because we wanted to have a baby. He told me every day that I was the girl of his dreams. All of that went to pieces on Jan 1. That day, I learned that he cold turkey stopped taking his anti-anxiety medication because his parents made him feel bad for "depending" on it. He suffers from depression, anxiety and paranoia. I begged him to go back on them, because he was doing well for two years. It didn t work and over the past month he had become so delusional that he s not even the same person. He accuses me of hacking his Internet, lying to him because I think it s funny, cheating on him and hating him. I am devastated, but triedto stand by him. I called his dr, made him take the meds he would agree to take, and just tried to be there. When he became violent, i went to live with my mom. Now I am pregnant and I am torn. I want this baby. I don t want to trap him. I have no illusions of making him come back or changing him. He needs to heal himself. I admit that I want to keep it because I want to raise and love his child for him. Im not over him, i still love him and this is his baby. :( At the same time I don t want to intentionally deprive my child of its father when I know what reality is. Is it wrong for me to keep this baby? :( |

Posted: 13 Feb 2016 12:33 AM PST Is it appropriate for a 6 year old son to take his mother out for dinner on valentines day when -his parents divorced because a big issue was his father felt his mother put the son before him in their marriage and they were constantly fighting about it -his mother is struggling to meet men who will be serious with her because her son has a more of a role of a friend, not a son, in her life and tells her what to do and is spoiled and views himself as her equal - his 4 year old sister wants to go but she is not included and forced to stay home with grandma and is left out is this appropriate? |

Question: Roommates don't warn me when they are having people over? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 09:15 PM PST In college. I don't really speak to my roommates too much other than greeting them here and there. Question: What should I use as an address if I'm in an unstable living situation? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 08:26 PM PST I'm 18 and I was still living with my parents when I left in late December. My mother is toxic and unpredictable and for my own health, I left. I don't know how to handle a lot of things at this point or if there's a way of getting help or changing my address. I've been staying with friends, mostly a particular friend's family, but it's not stable. They're also going to move soon. I don't have my own space. I've slept on the couch or on a mattress and I keep the majority of my clothes and such in my car. Though I've been in this situation since December, I needed to get a replacement license in January and I just said that the address hadn't changed. I go to school full time, but I really need to get a job to pay for basic needs. What should I put as my address for job applications? Will my conflicting license address matter? Should I get it changed, and if so, to what? Where should I get my mail sent? If you have any sort of advice on what steps I need to take in my situation, I would really appreciate it! |

Question: Do you let your baby be naked in public? Posted: 12 Feb 2016 08:11 PM PST I've taken my son out naked at least 10 times. It is kinda common in my area, but I'm not sure about where others might live. I visited china before with my son and naked babies were pretty much normal. So of course he was naked there. And he likes being naked so I might just move there. But back to the point, tell me if you've ever taken your baby out in public naked. And if so, what were the other people's reaction? |

He grabbed her innappropriately and i told her to tell him to slow down. She didnt have her phone for 3 days and I yelled at her boyfriend. Her boyfriend then tells me that she gave permission, I confronted her and she told me that she "kinda" told him that but she complained to me saying she didnt like it. Now shes mad at me, Why?
