Sorry I am just a concerned mom looking for opinion. My teen son is a good kid, athletic and healthy and has potential and is friendly. But in his room I have seen exacto knives and small (legal recreational) blades, and lighters and matches. I have a older sister, my mother worshiped her, but hated me. It has been 9 years now, nothing have changed. She is always mean to me, abused me. Last year during summer I couldn't take it any more, so i started cutting. When I started I did it few times in a month. But now I do it almost every day. I can't stop the depressed feeling, and I don't want to say mean things to my mother. I don't want to hurt any one that's why I hurt my self. My sister found out last week, she saw the wound on my arm, and she asked me how i got the wounds. i didn't answer he, so she spy on me. When she rushed in, I saw her crying for the first time. Again I don't want to hurt any one. Especially my older sister because she is the one who conforts me when I get depressed. I begged her not to tell mom. She just asked my mom to day to move in to my room because her room is too small. But I know that was just a excuse she made up. Her purpose is to watch after me so I don't do stupid things. And my mom said yes because she worshiped her. With out cutting what should I do now? I felt even more depressed with out cutting.
