We've been seeing each other around campus and making "small talk" since about 8 months ago. We're not friends, because we've never hung out, just made some small talk. So he added me on FB a few weeks ago, and I told him that I messaged him on this gay dating app. he said that's not him and he doesn't use that app. I kind of pushed the issue a little and told him the profile matches him perfectly (age, weight, height, race, etc.) except there's no face pic, only the back of the head, but even that matches him. When one day he was standing in front of me, I looked at that profile and the location of "that guy" was only 0.09 miles away. Even after denying on FB about that being him, I sent him the profile and he still denied it and claimed "many people" match that profile. I disagreed saying I never seen that guy before, and we're in a small college. So I asked if he's gay and he got mad and said "of course not, I'm straight." I didn't message him for a week nor have I seen him around campus during that time, but when I messaged him yesterday asking if he wanted to watch a movie with me AND my friends, he told me "I'm not gay, don't bother me anymore." Then he deleted me. I accidentally creeped him out. Even if I wait a month to message him again apologizing about the misunderstanding, it may be weird. We aren't really best friends anymore cause he told me he liked me back at the time and didn't want to say anything cause he thought I didn't like him. The reason for that is because I get awkward and shy when I like someone and I don't know what to say so we stopped talking. He said he's exactly the same. Well, tomorrow I have a class with him and I really don't want to see him I just want to hide under a rock cause I get so shy. He told me we should start talking again but I get so nervous so I don't know. I don't want him to say hi to me cause I know I won't be able to speak. Help?! Btw the class we share is PE |
| Question: Why the hell do I like a girl that i met in an online chatroom? Posted: 05 Sep 2016 06:45 PM PDT Every once in a while I'll enter this online chatroom...and the other night I met some girl in there. We had a one-on-one chat the next day, pretty much talked the entire day, and then I kind of ruined it and she signed off. Idk why I can't stop thinking about this complete stranger I met in an online chatroom. It's so stupid. I keep signing on to the website and staring at the chat list WAITING for her to sign on and she never does. I guess we talked kind of a lot, and I just developed this crush on her....but like I said, I ruined it and she nixed me. But I keep waiting for her to sign back on again so I can talk to her about something and all day in my mind I just keep thinking "I need to see if she's online" "I need to sign on, maybe she's online right now" etc... Idk why, this is just so dumb to me, but I feel like I can't control it. I feel like I am obsessed with this person I met online and don't know how to stop it. Help? |

I never allow such "friendly" post-rejection conversations to occur, but instead tell her in no uncertain terms rid herself of me. |
