Question: Why do i get nervous around people I wanna impress?(Like popular kids or boys)? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 03:20 PM PDT I'm a freshman in high school, I'm a girl and I'm almost 14 (sept 14) and I'm good at talking to people , unless you are a popular kid. I don't know why but every time a popular kid tried or says something to me I freak out or get nervous. Anyone else and I'm fine. Also, with boys (ones I wanna impress) or most boys in general I get nervous around. I don't know but I freeze up even though I wanna laugh and smile at their jokes. Is this is a type of anxiety? Am I just shy to an extent? |
Posted: 01 Sep 2016 02:28 PM PDT A group of people were chatting about a workout apparatus.Someone mentioned I should try it for ab exercises, but then the former male coworker randomly says that "She doesn't need to workout abs." It caught me off guard so I didn't respond. I was wondering if this was also an inappropriate comment. typo: "she doesn't need to workout abs" |
Question: Feeling down, self damage and influence of partner? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 01:42 PM PDT I have been married for 4 years, but knew my partner 2 years before that. He has always been helpful and nice, but with a dark side, a side that makes him keep many things to himself, including important decisions, future plans... And also a side that makes him get upset if I am mad about something and confront him about it, he just goes like you are not good like other women, and used every way of comparison between me and other women who tend to be perfect, to make me feel like the lowest creature in this planet. If he wants something, he needs it straight away, regardless of what I think or how I feel, or anything I have started to feel recently that all what I have been hearing from him is affecting me, as soon as he starts to tell me bad things about myself, I just want to hurt myself straight away, I have harmed myself few times now and I know this is not the right thing to do to deal with such a situation, this person doesn't give any importance to my feelings, just wants to take and doesn't want to give, he never appraises, just destroys, I really don't know how to deal with this situation, I can't talk to anybody about this |
Question: How to turn from a shy person to a badass? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 01:09 PM PDT I am really shy and don't talk much, people are starting to talk about me.. I want to not care what people think and tell them off but every time I try I just stay silent...How do I turn into a more badass person |

Question: How important is eye contact to determine if someone likes you.? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 12:20 PM PDT I met this guy through a friend and we hit it off when we were texting. Then we hung out and the conversation flow was great and he seemed to not want to end talking but he made really minimum eye contact. Towards the end of the date he told me he wants to hangout again and I said sure. However he told my friend that my eye bugged him( I have lazy eyes) but he doesn't want to stop talking to me because im really pretty and cool. Idk if I should continue talking to him? Im not sure what he wants anymore. He keeps talking to me a lot. Do you think he is or isn't into me? He made my friend promise that she wont tell me and he doesn't know I know how he feels but obviously I am very hurt me all this because I really liked him too. We are both in our mid 20s. |

Question: Is it weird or wrong to be in a relationship with your half sibling's half sibling? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 11:59 AM PDT This is actually for a story that I'm writing. Where the two main characters, male and female, go to the same high school. They both have the same mother but different fathers. Mom abandoned her first born, the male/Person A, and left him with his father. Not long after, she has a daughter/Person B, with another man. Mom decides to keep this one and raise her. The father of Person A, has another son/ Person C, not long after. All three grow up and attend the same school. Person A and Person C being good friends since they are half brothers after all. But Person A not knowing that Person B, who attends the same school as them, is actually his younger half sister. They find out eventually when Person A overhears Person B talking about her mother and mentions mom's name, Person A right away remembering that that was the name of his own mom after finding out that she abandoned him. The two acknoldge eachother as half siblings. But now Person B and Person C start having romantic feelings for eachother, not knowing that they share the same half sibling. Yeah I know this sounds like a crazy while family soap opera, but it's just an idea I had. And I know it's kind of weird and must be awkward for Person A to see Person B dating Person C since they are both related to Person A, but not actually related to each other. So I would just like to know if it really is wrong or super weird to have in a story? No useless comments or jokes. I'm a writer looking to get some feedback. |

Question: Why is my best friend always lying to me? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 10:32 AM PDT We're both 15 and she's been distant for the past month, ever since she found a boyfriend. She's no longer using cute nicknames in our chat, but she does for other friends. Three days ago we planned to go out but an hour later she changed her mind, telling me that she is going to the countryside. Later that day, her friend recorded a live video in the park with her. I was truly sad. Yesterday, we planned to go out again, but after a few hours she told me that she is busy and her parents would be mad if she hangs out. So last night I saw a photo of her and the very same friend of hers, and I was deeply hurt. I am starting to feel happy that in a week we will go to different classes. Why is she playing me like this? |

Question: Mom is searching for male attention through my boyfriend? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 07:50 AM PDT I finally said something to her about it and she seemed to make a joke out of it. After a night of sleep I realized that I'm not in the wrong and I need to address her in a way so she understands she needs to leave my boyfriend alone because he doesn't owe her any attention. My mom is disabled and my boyfriend and me take care of her and we all live together. |
Question: Fiance and I have cultural differences and he doesn't even try to understand? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 05:51 AM PDT I'm 23, Spanish, and just finished college in the states. While in college I got engaged to an American. I'm in the process of moving back to Europe for a year to finish my MA, and then I'll come back to the US to get married. After an idle question, my fiance realized I typically go topless on the beach back home. Essentially, because it is culturally normal there. I've changed my top on the beach since early teens, gone topless since I was an adult, and don't even own tops for some of my swimsuits. It isn't sexual. I'm actually a virgin fwiw (waiting for marriage). & meanwhile men stare less in europe at topless women than they do bikini women in the USA. It's just a cultural norm/difference. He's freaking out. More or less forbidding me to do it. Obsessed w/ other guys seeing me. On one hand it isn't a big deal I guess. On the other its like he's refusing to respect cultural differences, won't try to understand it isn't like he imagines, and trying to control me from acting "normal" at home. I'm really upset. I don't know if I should honor his wishes, refuse to, or somewhere in between. I don't even know what to say to him about it at this point because he refuses to imagine it as "normal" there (even though it is totally typical, even with older ladies! it isn't sexual at all!). On one hand, its like it isnt that big of a deal for me to give in. While I like to comfort and no tan lines, it isn't like its central to my identity or something. On the other hand, its like if he won't even try to first understand how/why it is culturally different for me, before he makes such a request, then is it a dangerous precedent to give in to him? |
Question: Is she having an affair with a married man? *read description*? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 04:19 AM PDT I have worked in my workplace for 8 years with a male friend who is married to his wife for 5 years with two children. A girl who is in my team is engaged to her fiancée of three years started the workplace a year ago and got chatting with my male friend. Someone has messaged my friends wife on Facebook saying he is cheating on her with someone else and I believe this girl in my team is the cause of this. She is quite ugly and on the bigger side who shouldn't have even spoke to him in the first place. I asked if she and him still talk and she said he doesn't have her number and this has been 8 months mow. What do you think? Should I plain out ask her? |
Posted: 01 Sep 2016 04:01 AM PDT All while the man gets drunk with his buddies, whacks off to porn, chit chats about office jargon and pointless geeky stuff All HE had to do was give up a sperm cell Not fair to women. They should be allowed to stay at home full time and the man should on one income be able to support her and the baby and provide her with jewelry, weekly manicures and pedicures and spa treatments and shopping money |
Question: How can I make the next 40 days pass quick? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 03:52 AM PDT Hey so I'm going to meet my LDR girlfriend in 40 days! ( I'm 14 and she is 16 ) We met via Sam smith, our fanpages on Instagram over a year ago and we've non stopped facetimed for literally days at a time, texted, snap chatted etc. There hasn't been a day in the past 7 months that we haven't facetimed, our longest call was 47 hours, we even sleep with the FaceTime call running so it's like we're next to each other, we always watch movies and even tv shows together through FaceTime. we've been counting down from 166 days and the time has gone incredibly fast but we are both so excited. I'm flying there with my mum in 40 days and I just want it to hurry!! How can I make time pass faster? |

Question: Is physical attraction required for a functional relationship to exist? Posted: 01 Sep 2016 12:19 AM PDT As far as I can remember, I have never been physically attracted to anyone. I identify as a demisexual. If it is not required, how should I go about meeting eligible women in American society? I regularly find that I have no reason pursue or get to know any particular person beyond the simple desire for a relationship. The things I find attractive about people are based in one's personality. I never seem to get to know anyone well enough to perceive any of the things that are meaningful to me. Usually when women recognize that I don't find them attractive, they do not want to spend time with me. |

Question: Is my friend ashamed of me? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 11:19 PM PDT I think my friend is avoiding me. My husband and I recently got into a legal dispute over him cheating on me and me divorcing him for it, and things are a bit hectic. I have a baby at home I am taking care of with no one to help since I left my husband. My best friend who has been there for years (before I even got with my husband) knows how difficult things have been and has really been there for me. He knew I was struggling for money so he gave me a place to stay. He isn't really the womanizing type, I've heard from others what a drag he was at moments (the closest strip club) on his birthday because of his distaste towards physical contact. He showed me a site a while back where men will pay you to pleasure yourself on camera as a joke but I secretly joined up. (I won't tell you the site or my user name but it is close to my name on here) I need the money He got weird after my first three weeks on the site, I'm not exactly a star but he found out. Now for several days after I do a broadcast he won't talk to me and barely makes eye contact. Everything becomes easier after the first day or so but it is still awkward. (I don't do more than two shows a week, I have to be able to look at myself without feeling shame) I don't know what his problem is, I think he is ashamed of me. I would stop these shows if he would just clue me in but he avoids the subject every time I bring it up. Things are messed up as is and I don't need the only one in my corner ashamed of me. Is he? |

Question: I'm lonely, I have no life, and it's making me miserable. What do I do? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 10:15 PM PDT All I do is work and go home. For the most part, I'm okay with being alone, but not all the time. I have no friends, and I'm not good at making them. I don't have a car where I can just get up and go, and where I live public transportation is only available during certain times. I only work part time. I would love a full time job, but the majority of those jobs require skills that I don't have. I would get a second job, but transportation is an issue. I'm really good at sewing, so I figured I start something with that. Every job I've had so far, I've felt alone. It's just hard for me to connect with people. Getting to the point, I know what steps to take to fix my situation, but it's the staying motivated part that's hard. A lot of times I just feel hopeless. Any advice on what I can do to not feel this way while trying to move forward? Nothing is immediate. I know it's going to take time, but that's where I usually lose hope. I do I remain hopeful? As far as hobbies go, those begin to feel like work because I'm always worried. |
Question: I have nothing of sentimental value to me? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 10:07 PM PDT I know this isn't much of a question. But it just seems odd to me. Most people have something, like jewelry or a necklace. A stuffed animal. But I don't. Is this weird? Uncommon? Bad?? |
Question: How to react when someone cuts in line? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 10:00 PM PDT Hello. I m a 17 year old senior in high school and I have a question on how to deal with a certain situation. In the lunch line there is always a group of guys who like to cut others in line. I m not a huge guy but I m not small. Now the guy who usually leads his group in the cutting is very large and is somewhat of a bully. He would be the type to start a fist fight over a confrontation here. I am a good student and I am near the top of my class. I would stand up for myself and be assertive but if I get into a fight I would get suspended. This other guy clearly doesn t care about his life or goals. Would it be wise to be assertive and have a fight start? I feel like I shouldn t waste my time on someone so pointless but I don t want to be a pushover. I have goals for school while he does not. What should I do? Remember he is significantly bigger than me. |

Question: What does it mean if someone snickers at you a lot? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 08:46 PM PDT There's this guy in my AP art class who snickers at me for no reason? For instance, once I was cutting paper for the first time and I didn't know how, so he showed me and then he snickered. Another time (today), someone asked me if I had done my painting in Acrylic and I said "huh?" at first because I hadn't heard him, so the snicker guy repeated the question and-- guess what-- snickered. Does he have some sort of problem with me? Is it involuntary? Please help because I am so annoyed/confused |

Question: What to do with a really disrespectful cousin? Just need advice please.? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 07:24 PM PDT I am honestly SO fed up with him. He's 13-14 and is one of the most disrespectful person I know. He abuses his younger brother who's like 10-11 and he curses and shouts at his mother (his dad isn't usually there). I've talked to him twice, the first time he stayed silent and just sarcastly said "okay?" At the end of my talk and I know he doesn't take them into consideration. Today, I talked to him again about him not going to survive in the future if he continues to have such a nasty attitude and he told me to "shut my ***** *** up" like wow I'm so scared?? But I really do try to set him straight since when his mother does talk to him, he always doesn't listen and like talks over her or mumbles curses to her. His father use to be like abusive to them for disciplinary reasons and I wish he was still like that but I can tell he's calmed down with all that. The bad thing is they live with me since their family are like freeloaders. I need to know if there's a way to indirectly confront him about this. They've been here for a year now? And I want them out of the house so badly. Like I'd be fine with keeping the parents but the kids need to go to like my other relative's house. I'm going to keep talking to my mom about making them leave to somewhere else but I feel so bad for his parents since they don't need to go through all that. |
Question: Ayuda sobre ex novia? |

Question: Was this girl whorish or just silly? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 05:45 PM PDT In school, there was this group of blonde popular girls. The leader of the group seem to be very boy crazy. Once the group was walking, and the leader stopped and said: "OHHH MY GOD" One of the other girls asked what was it. The leader said: "HE'S SOOOO HOT" The leader girl must have seen a young man who she found attractive. I don't know if she actually spoke to him and ended up dating him or not. Once we had a new boy in class. He was slim, tall and relatively good looking. The leader girl, on her very first meeting with him, ran up to him and wrapped her arms around him to hug. I heard stories from my friends who was in her class that she would often go up to boys and flirt/ laugh with them. |
Question: I'm in a rough patch in my life, any help will help? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 05:21 PM PDT This is small problems compared to other people's problems in this world. But I have been in a rut for so long. I graduated high school 3 months ago. Just started taking 15 hours of college classes at a local community college. Living at home with my mom and dad who have no sense of privacy and walk in my room and bother me and annoy me when they have nothing else to do. Which I should be thankful for. But I should've been diligent with time and applied and went off to college somewhere. Schooling is overwhelming and I have undecided major and school seems to have no point to me anymore. Boyfriend doesn't really show me he cares anymore. I had a bad day and he was suppose to hang out with me and spend quality time together and he bailed 5 minutes before. Don't really know where my life is going. Not very motivated anymore. What do I do? Parents are annoying with a lot of things. They don't really accept my boyfriend and they never seem proud of me with schooling. |
Question: Does he hate me? Will he ever try to contact me? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 04:24 PM PDT I dated a married man for a year. I know it was wrong but we really fell for each other. Towards the end he would start ignoring me. Not texting me as much. His wife caught him cheating with me twice but they didn't divorce. He would say he loved me, and that he wanted a baby with me but later realized he had no intention of leaving his wife. Since we both work for my uncle. Towards the end I was honest with my uncle and he fired us both. I miss him terribly and I haven't heard of him since. Should I contact him? Could he hate me? |

Question: Should I stop seeing this guy? Posted: 31 Aug 2016 11:29 AM PDT I'm in a sexual relationship with this guy and he is my dominant and I'm the submissive in the relationship. I notice that whenever I talk about my fantasies which involve another man or a group of men and I tell him that I'm searching for that when I go out, he gets really angry and says I'm talking stupid and that I am annoying him. Then he says forget it and then I meet up with him usually. He says he doesn't have confidence that no one else is touching me when I go out... He's always asking me if another guy has tried to kiss me or ask me out too. Sometimes if I tell him that I shave my pubic area, he gets angry and says 'you've ruined it now cause I can only assume you've done it for a guy' He also calls me my property (which I think is normal in this relationship...) and says that no other man is allowed to touch me. When I told him about a guy I previously had a fling with, he said 'he's a f****ing idiot for doing that to you. With me it will be different' Age also loses his temper with me very quickly... When I tell him that I've been out he accuses me of being with another guy and says 'don't talk to me about it anymore you're annoying me too much' his temper is really unpredictable and I can't tell when he's going to turn against me... He hasn't been texting me as much as usual but he said to me the other day 'you've only got 40 minutes with me and I need someone to suck my d**k shall I stop seeing him? |
