My new partner is a complete jerk, I have talked to him a couple of times and he was never mean. Lately, I've noticed he gave me a mean look. I just smiled at him, and he just looked at me up and down. Now that we are partners, he is giving me attitude. I ask him questions, and he treats me like I'm stupid. Sometimes, if I don't understand what he is saying in Spanish, I ask him to repeat and he just gets a mean look on his face. What do I do? |

We met at our church sunday school group, and we weren't really that close, just talked every week at church. After about a year, I moved away to a different place and I wasn't able to go to that sunday school class anymore because we went to church less often. So we sort of drifted apart, but about a year ago, I started going to the teen choir in our church, that she's also in. We always sit next to each other, and 2 other girls that I'm acquainted with. For the past year we got closer and I thought of her as a good friend. We used to talk a lot and she actually invited me to her house twice. However lately she's not been talking to me as much, and I kind of feel like were just talking about surface things, not like real friends. So anyways, last week I was at choir practice and I was sitting next to her, and the other 2 girls that we sit with leave, and she was sitting the closest to, and so I asked her where they went, and she told me they went to a fast food restaurant that's close to our church, and all of a sudden she says she's going too, and just leaves, without asking if I want to go to or even saying bye. I never thought that she would do something like that. Is it worth ending the friendship because of this one thing, or should I try and talk to her about this? If so, how? Sometimes he says he'll meet me when he knows I'm in his state then he says he won't. Sometimes he makes fake accounts on Facebook and adds me on them. For awhile he wouldn't talk to me even though I would email him. The other day he replied to my email telling me to call him. I was afraid at first to call him because when I called before he yelled at me. So he and I did talk a few nights ago I told him I didn't like it when he blocked me. I told him I might need his help with some writing for my English class. He told me I contact him if I needed his help. So he unblocked me but blocked me from sending him messages. |

I didn't ACT like it or anything, but all my guy friends were dropping hints and stuff (they were trying to help me). I also REALLy thought he wanted to go with me. The way he acted, I just always thought he kind of liked me (EVERYONE thought he liked me) and I was almost confident that he'd ask me, especially last year. But he told me and my guy friend that he plans on asking this other girl during a field trip we have next month. It wouldn't have been so embarrassing if my guy friend weren't there. He KNEW how much I wanted to go with him. Now i look really pathetic. Advice? I'm not sad, just disappointed. ***(You don't have to read this next part of you don't want to)**** There IS, however, another guy I had in mind. We agree on a lot, despite our differences. She is not my type, and I am not a person who would go after married girls. Yeah, she is married and very religious (Islamic). So, let's clear that up first. She ... accidentally said "f*** me please" on Facebook. She did really get excited when we talked about our own kinky fantasies. She told me she would cuddle me, if we lived in a different life. Then, I sent her a heart (in context, it was referring to some gay jokes I made), and she said "aww, you wuv me?" Hints were kind of... there. But maybe I just think weird and violate the innocence of it all with my mind. My question is, is it immoral just to say I love you, like in a friendly type of way, to someone I am close to over the years given the marriage situation? Children say I love you to their parents all the time, but it is not weird. Girls say that they love each other all the time, but it is not usually lesbian. Excited people say they love someone for doing something good. Since I am a guy and she is a girl, it is probably best not to cross over that line. I mean, I could say it in a gay type of way, like how girls "love" each other. Or pretend I am like a baby in a playful kind of way. But, I am not sure if that is bad. Some guys think I am gay just for some dirty jokes. Maybe it might seem like a joke and "obvious" to some people, but I am asking this question very seriously. |

My instant reaction, I would say natural instinct was to swing at him. I didn't even think about it, in a split second my automatic reaction was to punch him in the face. You don't need to wait around but just don't leave me alone not even knowing where we're going. They say I never do that for them which is a lie for most of the time. I find it a little mean because when it's another friend and I'm like "let's go, she's too long" cause she does it on purpose (like she wanders around school before going to her locker), they say "no that's mean". So my "friend" (long story, we aren't real friends), has to wait for four hours for a meeting and she asked me to "fill in the time" for/with her. I said yes before I thought through it, and she now assumes I will stay with her for long. We two don't talk much normally or anything. She avoids me in school, and the story of our relationship is pretty baffling. But I always have to do things for others... She has treated me NOT so well these months... But for a reason, I promised her to stay, so I have to do so. The thing is I have other activities and things has happened that I have to deal with, things I can't tell anyone. They're pretty bad and stuff... So I can't stay with her so long as four hours, one hour maybe. So if I could have something to blame this on, that I have to leave earlier. I don't normally lie, but I can't tell her the truth. For some special GOOD reasons. What could I say to her? Like when one hour has gone, maybe I could say to her, that I forgot that I had to do something. but what is that? A good and believeable excuse. I can't tell her the truth. Best answer gets 10 points and I'll choose it 4th of February 2016. I I don't lie normally to anyone, but this time I have to since the situation is as it is (completely my own fault). Recently, we got a couple of new players and they all team up and trash me and my other friend when we make mistakes. I remember taking a shot and it went an inch wide and they wouldnt stop laughing at me and the coach never yells at them but favors the harshest girls. Its gotten to the point where i dread going to practices and just the thought of going ruins my day. I probably sound dramatic but this has been going on for almost 3 years and ive reached my breaking point. my dad is calling me a loser and a quitter for wanting to quit and honestly i would feel bad for leaving a team ive been on for so long. any advice? |

She said she was super busy (which is believable--she's in grad school). idk if she thinks I'm trying to be more than friends and is worried, or if she is legitimately busy with all the demands. I thought I was pretty clear I wanted to be just friends--I don't want to get in the way of her schoolwork, but I just feel a little let down that we won't be able to spend much time together--even as just friends. She doesn't really seem like the type to just exclude friends for no reason, but idk. She said since she was busy, she couldn't "commit" to anything else. I don't know really what that means, but I wasn't looking for any type of serious commitment--more or less just looking for a friend. |

She told me a lot of secrets she kept from her parents, other friends and even her boyfriend. A told me that when she moved with her mom only a couple years ago she thought that she didn't have a life anymore because she lost her friends and her family. She been alone for 2 years and when she tried to make friends they would anyways leave her or ditch her so they didn't last long. To cut the cheese, she said she made up friends in her head. She would draw what they looked like and sometimes talk to herself to make it seem like they were talking to her instead of her doing the talking. She has been like this til now and I met A a year ago. I don't know what should she do? Should she go see a therapist? Then he showed it to me from the other table and then he came to my table and showed it again to me. He's an old classmate and we recently started reconnecting through text after running into each other. I ran into him again today while I was getting coffee, he was waited for his order. He asked what's and I said just coming to get coffee before school. He said me too. I asked what he was ordering, he told me, then I asked if he got a haircut (I didn't know what to say and was being really awkward about it) and he said yeah, we'd been texting a few days so I didn't wanna bring up the same thing again. But after I asked about his hair I walked to the side to get In line, so our "conversation" basically ended. He said talk to you later and left. I like the guy a lot and I think I acted totally rude to him. It's weird cause we connected so well in the past and through text and then there was this tension today (for me at least-he was totally chill.) Ugh. I was asked to fill out the attachments with the email and fax them before monday. I took so long with the attachments that I completely missed that I was to email them confirming that I would be coming by that monday. Now tomorrow is the exam should I still go in? Should I send an email and state that I did not see that I had to confirm my attendance? What do I do? I faxed the attachments on time but didnt confirm my attendance |

When he checked out of the room and moved out, while I was looking through his old desk and drawers--university furniture. He does not own it--, I found his condoms. However, the condoms have been expired for over a year now. Months ago, an embarrassing situation happened where a condom fell out of his backpack. He said it is to prevent a baby, but if that was his main concern, why is he using expired condoms? He is 28 years old, so I understand that he biologically feels the need to be a father now, but there are definitely other ways of having a child without dragging a girlfriend into it, such as being a foster parent. |

I went to high school with him bud didn't really hang with him. I remember a lot of people didn't like him, he'd get picked on and was weird but I didn't really have a problem with him since he wasn't in my classes or anything and he seemed nice. The thing is I'm starting to realize why nobody likes him. I've talked to my girlfriend about him and she told me he doesn't really realize he's being rude and she thinks he might have aspergers because he's real awkward.I'm a real patient dude but being around him just gets me irritated. Like he will cut you off in the middle of a sentence to talk about something irrelevant and talk louder while rolling his eyes if you try to interrupt him. A few weeks ago he stopped by to hang with just me. I'm not a dick so I invited him in to watch tv and bullshit. He decided to help himself to my fridge and eat a burger that was going to be my dinner. I was like wtf but let it slide. Then he started making fun of this picture I have on the wall of a buddy that died a few years ago. I told him to chill and explained to him that was my best friend. He kept making these gay jokes about me and my buddy having sex and stuff. I guess he thought he was being funny in a friendly way but I didn't care. I ended up kicking him out because I was ready to really hurt this dude. Then my girlfriend calls me saying that her friend told her I was being mean to him and bullying him. Wtf? The thing is, this dude really thinks I'm a jerk for kicking him out. In his eyes he did nothing wrong. I don't care if my gf hangs with him because I know they aren't gonna **** or anything because this dude is a dweeb but I just don't want her to bring him around me. Posted: 03 Feb 2016 01:10 PM PST Well I'm a 13 year old boy and I was tanning with my 16 year old sister and my mom in the beach we were all laying down in seperate towels on the sand I was in th right my sister was in the middle and my mom was on the left we all layed right next to each other in seperate towels and than my mom's friend finally arrived. also we were all in our bathing suits and when my mom friend came over she started laughing when she saw something. while we're tanning we all had our hands behind our head relaxing. My moms friend comes and says laughing "it's so funny to see three people laying down hands behind there head seeing the youngest with armpit hair". Cause me my mom and my sister had our armpits showing and they had no hair but I had a lot and than my mom told me to close my arms cause she said " Dave put your arms down u don't want people seeing that!" I said no and she said"OMG your ******* armpit hair Dave it's weird me and your sister could do it cause we have nice armpits and we are girls". Edit Update question I used to be mutual best friends with a girl, and she had another friend at the time who was bubbly toward me and even invited me to parties from time to time. I considered the friend of the friend a nice person whom I did not mind getting together with (including my friend) from time to time, though she did not have much in common with me personally and I did not even have her phone number. i Over time my relationship with my best friend grew distant (over this I regret saying, and for which I have apologized for more than once). Anyway, one day I found out that I had traded places relationally with this other girl in my friend's heart-I was now the regular friend and the other girl was the best friend. . At first I did not judge the other girl and continued to go out with the two of them (though I was terribly hurt)-but now the girl had acted very uncomfortable, as if she'd done something wrong-and now almost totally shut me out of the conversation-as if she was trying to hog my friend's attention-I felt like a third wheel. This happened more than once. In the past we had never gone out that much as a threesome, my being with just my friend most of the time...but now this other girl is hinting around that she wants to go out with the two of us every time I ask my friend out, with the exception of when we do an activity she cannot keep up with. I find this strange-I feel like this girl wants to emotionally manipulate what is left of my relationship with my friend now-could it be true? I Or am I just insecure? I am not willing to just drop my friendship with my friend and move on, because we are like sisters before and it is too painful to think of life without her...and it seems like in time I will get her back as a mutual best friend. |

I need to get this school stress out, I went to a different school before the one I'm in now and I was really close to a there and I miss her loads and we were great, great friends and I just really miss her and I tried to contact her via social media but BACKED OUT now I don't have social media and am not gonna try..... And anyway her whole group of friends don't like me anymore (I used to be friends with them). This is all because I last saw them when I had an argument with them and left the school. I moved to a new school and everyone bullied me because I look ugly BUT their comments don't phase me; I'm not self-conscious. What hurts me is I have no friends here, well I have one or two, I don't know... One of them can be nice but when the other two girls she's friends with (they're ones I hang with) are horrible, and won't defend me. One of those girls tries to act clever with me and shows off and acts meanly when she's with me but others included. I hate her but I have of deal with her every lesson. I have a class with this girl. She's super "ghetto" I guess you can say. She's loud and "dramatic"(?) Yeah. I guess you could imagine. Well, I sit next to her in math class because unfortunately, we have the same last name so (ya know. Assigned seats and what not). She messes with me a lot. I dislike it. And I literally just let her do it. Everyday. She seems to only say something when she's getting attention. F.e she's with a friend or something. It's annoying. She also never does her work, so she always asks for mine. Today I was doing my school work. I was saying that I don't remember how to do it. She had headphones in her ear, talking to her friend (ofc) and she said (meanly) "you do know how to do this. Are you stupid? (to her friend) Let me do this work by myself because b*tches wanna act dumb and sh**" It was probably more insults, but that's mostly what I remember. She says I'm stupid and childish all the time, yet she still asks me for stuff all the time. As of now, I'm keeping her stuff in my folder because she claims she can't keep up with it. I would love to say something to her, but I get anxious and I get tie tongue when talking back. She's suspended at the moment (because she cussed out a teacher), but she comes back on Monday. I am able to move my seat if I ask, however I feel like that wouldn't help because 1) I still have her work. 2) She will still try to embarrass me in front of the whole class. I even repeated kindergarten because I was behind the other students and stuff. Also my friends have always been a few years younger than me growing up. When I was 18 my closest friends were 14 and 15. I also really didn't hit puberty until I was 21. Which sucked college because I wouldn't get let into parties and stuff because they thought I was like 13. on top of that I the females I would try to hook up with would always get friend zoned and they would consider me like a "little brother" to them. Even though I was a year or 2 older than them lol. I'm 25 now and I did man up a little physically and mentally. I at least look and act like I'm at least 21 years old. But I still feel behind. I have my own apartment with a few buddies and stuff. But even at work and stuff I get along better with co workers that are 18- 22. Why is this? |

We would always make each other smile and laugh. 25/7 I would always try my best to make her as happy as possible. So about 2-3 months ago I ended up our friendship due to my medications so since I was "drugged up" i ended it up. Thats when everything when down the hill. Since I did that. I had to go to residental hospital because I hated myself and wanted to commit suicide etc. So they changed my medicine to prozac so I got back to school after a week. I noticed that she was hurted and sad. She was hanging out with her other so called "best friend" . Everyday I went to school I had no one to talk to and so I was getting more and more depressed. Especially seeing her hanging out with her "bestfriend". I tried being back with her but she said that she didnt want to anymore. After all that happened. I decided to love to a different school because I didnt want to get depressed anymore. Since I did I still had her in my mind. And I was hoping that she would to. Ive got this app called musically and I found out that she had one. So I watched aaalll of her videos. Ive seen her do songs related about our friendship and saying that she misses me. Then I started to do my own videos. Soon she found out I had one and she immediatly blocked me. Btw she blocked me every single acc I have on every social media and even phone number |

Although I talk to a few people in my classes and we're really close, we never hang out. I've also tried talking to new people, hung out with them once and we never hanged again, so that doesn't work for me. I did have one best friend (who I've known for several years) but she ditched me to hang with someone else because I wanted to get lunch. I don't talk to her anymore because she used me just so she won't be alone. Now that she found friends, she left me. I also have severe anxiety so can't sit alone. I have actually resorted to eating my food in the toilet cubicle. This is making me have awful depression and makes my anxiety worse. I hate so much about myself. I don't know what to do. Please help me. I also have pills for my anxiety symptoms but they don't work |
| Posted: 03 Feb 2016 11:35 AM PST don't know what to do right now, because this week my anxiety has been playing me up. there is a girl who I can't go near because every time I do, I make a complete idiot of myself. for example on my bad days I don't like people in my space because I feel very upset and nervous when they do this. so this girl she is walking by me and as soon as I see her I feel sick and shaky and completely out of control. it is normally this time when I focus on my breathing and try and walk past in a straight line. but then my head takes over and I start to pace and dither about. she sees me and before I know what I'm saying I'm yelling 'keep away from me'! which I figure isn't the best way to talk to her. my problem is if I see her I can be very rude! now I have a habit of if she walks near me I will say 'keep away from me' or 'oh great what she doing here?'. if she is coming through a doorway I'll get anxious and barge through. I hate being so rude so I decided I wanted to talk to her and explain why I've been so unfriendly. I asked her friend where I could find her and she told me after a bit of persuading. so I turned up and waited around when I saw her I froze up and couldn't move! I was still staring at her for 5 minutes straight and she got a bit nervous and smiled at me - clearly hoping I'd just go away. I recently moved into an apartment with two roomates, and we wanted to come up with a name for our place. The house is located on a street with a mans name, let s just say it s Jack Street. One girl wants to name the place Jack s Brothel. Now, I m a pretty .. open and easy going person, not a prude, I can take life seriously but also know how to have a good time. I m not usually uptight and REALLY a name for a house isn t a big deal but, sounds dumb to me. Maybe because it sounds suggestive (she is a bit .. loose if you know what i mean so it REALLY, could be fitting, as humorous as she s trying to be). I think it s funny but eh, not that much. One girl said we can make an acronym so only we know. I try to keep it short but I've so much to mention: I divided it into 3 parts. 1)I'm a 18-year-old female Muslim. I live in Germany, I'm going to school here. I'm a shy and reserved person. I don't want to get friends with my schoolmates, there's just no want to make friends with 'em. I'm a quiet person, I don't talk a lot. Only at home where I am e.g. a funnier person but nowadays I'm just irritable and stressed. Sometimes I feel lonely and as if I'm left alone. I have one friend but we can meet only sometimes. Plus I have understanding with my cousins and a very good internet friend too. I got engaged with 16 years when my mother asked me if I want to marry my cousin. I agreed and he too but he studies now elsewhere another country until we'll marry in 2018 which means we're in a long-distance relationship. BEFORE I met my cousin I was in love with a female schoolmate, I told her and her reaction was understanding, she told me that she's hetero and in a relationship. I said okay but suffered a lot the following time with her 'cause my feelings didn't stop only when we left school and didn't face each other anymore. You've to know that I'm religious insofar that I wear a headscarf, pray five times a day etc. I love my religion but not that much that I could stop my... homosexuality yeah, they say that it would be stoppable by praying intensely but I don't believe in that really. |

To say she was beautiful would be an understatement. She was gorgeous. If there ever was a trophy girlfriend/wife she would be it. At first we all did not like her as we thought our boss Bob, a 29 year old single guy would give her all the choice assignments. That didn't happen. He treated her just like the rest of us. No better and no worse. We also started to like her as she was such a nice person. One day we had a staff meeting and Mindy was not there. We asked Bob if he noticed that Mindy was beautiful. He said all my employees were beautiful. WOW, he is good. Someone ask him if he would like to date Mindy. He said he was not allowed to date anyone that worked for him. He said, can you imagine the gossip that would start if I dated someone that worked for me. Another one of us, Linda asked Bob if he would date her if she did not work for him. Most days a few of them ask me for help with their homework so I help them in the library after school. They really appreciate the help and on Fridays they bring treats that we share. They call this is a mini thank you party for my help. We all have a lot of fun doing this. Some times they give me a hug and say thank you and sometimes they give me a kiss on the cheek and say thank you. The problem is these girl's boyfriends are mad a me for being so close to their girlfriends. They tell me to stay away from their girlfriends. I don't think they have any reason to be mad at me. The girls ask for my help. If they don't want me helping their girlfriends, they should take this up with their girlfriends shouldn't they? Am I doing something wrong here by helping these girls? |
