One thing that sucks about commuting, is not living on campus and becoming friends with roommates. I'm always alone and I don't really try to talk to anyone in my classes and no one talks to me. I have breaks in between my classes and I hang around campus but that doesn't help. I have thought about joining a club, but I don't know which one I would want to join. I also feel weird joining one by myself. I feel like there's a reason why people don't talk to me. Idk. How can I make friends ? |

Posted: 04 Feb 2016 04:44 PM PST I know that sounds weird, but every birthday I've had has ended either with me crying or getting into a fight with someone in my family or friends. As a kid, people never had fun at my parties or used me for free food it seemed. When I got older, I didn't really want to get any presents because I feel guilty when I get gifts, and my parents always get angry about it and say that I'm being selfish (this happens at christmas too). And since I was constantly bullied as a kid, every time my birthday comes around the worst of the day comes with it. I end up getting too sad to even hold a conversation. The only birthday I loved was my 21st one, and that was because I got to be with two of my friends and my significant other, drinking coffee, and watching a murder mystery. My birthday was today, and once again the day was awful. The worst part was that I have no idea why, I just felt terrible the whole day, and half that time I forgot it was my birthday. So, I have to ask: is anyone else feeling the same way about this, or is it strange that I've never really felt happy on my birthday? |

The thing is, I want to branch off. It's really hard though. I'm that joker girl, who's always laughing and smiling. I'm really kind off bold, but can be mean if someone messes with me or my friends. I don't fight people though. I always say hi to people in the hallways, I know a lot of people. My friend is only friends with me. I feel bad for her, but we don't really click like we used too. Whenever I try to talk to my other friends she just stands there awkwardly, and seems bored. I feel bad, but I know if I ditch her she'll be alone. I want friends I can really click with. And I know some people already. Questions: -How do I find new friends for my friend? -How do I leave her, in a sense? -How do I go away from her slowly, or try to explain? -OTHER TIPS! Well, when I got to fifth period I had a HUGE gas ball an I went a head an past it in class. Mark Kerner an Willy Austin smelled it an got MAD an said after school they would kick my butt! Lucky, a lot of stuff happened today an I guess they forgot cause when we got on the bus tonight no one said any thing. But I had been holding in my farts again since 6th period an I had another huge gas ball on the bus so I kind of ****** my self ovar on one butt cheek an let it kind of air flow out silent an no one herd it. But then I herd Mark Kerner behind me an he stood up an was like "all right, God damn it, who the hell farted!" He was MAD. Ernie an Jackie was lookin at me an Mike an Willy said it stunk real bad an Mark gagged. Keep in mind that this program is very important to me and it will help me get into college. This isn t the first time, he constantly belittles it. So I got mad at him and said "I respect what you re into and I don t make fun of it around you. I expect the same amount of respect from you. Its not fair for me to have to be the supportive friend and for you to constantly put me down for it." So he still doesn t get the point. I repeat myself and he yells "Ok! Drop it!" And walks away. The total was $25 and I ended up paying $23 of it because I took out a $20 to pay for my drink but the guy said a 20$ is better then a bunch of $1 and my friend kept all the ones besides two which she gave to the guy. So basically I paid for lunch. I feel bad because it was my money like I don't get much money besides birthdays and Christmas basically... I only have about $60 in my wallet. I was thrown to a tree and they all started surrounding and taunting me. I obviously was outnumbered and couldn't get through and after all the taunting stopped I was pounced on and they took off my adidas pants and threw them onto a tree branch. One then said " dress nicely and not s sloppily like that and you can hang out with us and they all left". I spent about five minutes throwing rocks and got my pants back. 1. How come they said I dressed worse then them. Is this true? 2. They said my pants made me an easy target for their actions. How did my adidas pants make it easier for them to remove and throw away? I'm currently in a group with 3 of my good friends, but if anyone is going to have a spend the night or party then you have to invite everyone! I used to be that kid that would always laugh, even with the people that made fun of me, who never cared about what they thought of me. I used to be that student who got straight A's in her honors classes. I used to be girl who would start liking a guy, get rejected, laugh it off, and try with another. But now all of that is changing. I feel like I have no true friends. I feel like everyone secretly hates me. Everyone has always called me annoying and weird, but I used to ignore it, thinking that it wasn't true. But now its starting to effect me. I've been realizing that I have no real friends behind my back. I'm that one person that no one likes, but people still talk to them either because they feel bad for them, or they have no one else to talk to. I feel like if I died today, no one (except my family) would really care. And this is how I truly feel. All I have a fake, distant friends. No one that would actually want to hang out with me or help me in my time of need. But why? Why don't people like me? I'm nice for the most part, but people always called me annoying and weird. I want to stop talking to all these fake friends but that wouldn't help. I really want to move to a new school and just start my life all over. I want to be a new person. I want to fix all the places I've screwed up. I want to make actual friends that would deeply care about me. Please. I just need some advice. |

Recently they are seeing the news what is is doing to other countries, and are saying that its all muslims. So I am no longer as popular in my class cause my friends hate muslims and one of them love Donald Trump... They usually make jokes about my religion and laugh at me and recently they have even laughed at my look. They call me big nose and selfbomber. I dont want to make jokes about there look and religion like they are fat which they kind of are, but Im a nice guy so I dont say such things. Only one time I got really mad and called one of them a mummy cause he was from Egypt. But I felt bad for what I said and dont say that no more... But they will never stop. I tried hanging out with other people in my class and I got shocked for what happened. He opened an allahu akbar video and laughed at it a lot. I cry in tears and need some help to get things done. So today I was in science class and I'm working on the project with a really crappy group of people, I was first to finish so I decided to wait and help my friend who was in my group. Then my teacher comes over and puts his hand on my butt and asks me why I wasn't participating. I told him I had finished my part of the project and was helping my friend, then he walked away..... Any way cut to like 15 minutes later he called me up to his desk and said I forgot something in my project. It was there!!!!!! He was talking to me about how beautiful and smart of a student I was, this made me really uncomfortable. And it got even worse the whole time I was at his desk he was staring at my boobs!!!! He didn't make eye contact with me!!!!! Only my boobs. This hasn't been the first time he has done this to me, it happens EVERY class period!!!! I don't know what to do and I really need some advice!!!! Please help!!!! By the way I'm in 7th grade and my teacher is at least over 50. |

And that one day I was lonely with nobody to talk to. Then we had to change to a different class since my teacher had to go somewhere. And so we did, normally until when the teacher told everybody to get laptops. I forgot and misheard and was like "whatever". Then my friend told me to go get one so I asked. "Can I get a laptop?" What I got in respond was, "No, I told you from the beginning to get a laptop or go on the desktop!" in an attitude. My crush was like "Yeah, kid". Usually people in my school barely get yelled out like that. So I went off awkwardly. This wouldn't be anything if I was in third person point of view.. but I don't know what to do to get rid of it and move on. I'm afraid my so called "friends" won't hangout with me for this reason. Posted: 04 Feb 2016 01:53 PM PST So I willingly took videos of myself, doing humiliating things like humping a pillow, and dunking my face in a toilet and now my friend has it, now it s spreading like wild fire. Personally, I don t know what to do about it. I know there s no chance of me deleting it off their phones or stopping the spread. So at the moment, I m just not caring and playing it down if someone brings it up. Usually things like this blow over but this time feels different. So, any suggestions on what I should do? We are both dancers, but he was always better. He told me I was his inspiration to dance. About a year ago he moved to Miami to expand his dancing opportunities. After moving there, he unfollowed me on all social media but still followed those he barely knew or didn't even talk to back where I'm from. I've tried to ask him why, as this kind of hurt a lot, but he read it without responding. When it came around time for his birthday (which was a few months ago), I sent him a message and he responded "omg thank you so much", so he's not completely ignoring me. I really really miss him and I just don't know what to do anymore. We're not friends anymore, but I still keep thinking silly "what if" thoughts. I would do so much just to still be friends with him. |

Do I talk to her and potentially ruin our friendship as well as the friendship of a couple other friends or do I keep quiet and preserve our friendship? |
| Posted: 04 Feb 2016 01:34 PM PST I have a friend I have had since third grade that I go to school with. She used to copy everything I did (interests, opinions, etc.) and was by my side all the time. Then she went to a different school for 6 grade. Now we are in the same school again and she is quite mean to me. I'm not bothered that she doesn't do everything I do anymore (that was actually really annoying), but she has been super passive aggressive to me all year. On most days she will ignore me in gym and orchestra (the only classes we have together) and sit farthest away from me at the lunch table. Today was my birthday and she didn't even acknowledge it, and told me to shut up when I was cheering for my team in gym and when I tried to talk to her after orchestra. I act like it doesn't bother me but it hurts inside. Why does she do this to me? And why does she act like we're best buds outside of school!? Please help. Thanks. |

(My class is 24 kids) So there is this kid at my school who is trying to take away my friends at school. He has taken 2 of them and now they make fun of me and say things like im gay or that nobody likes me. The other day he dared one of my friends who he stole to ask me out. I got so embarrassed. The rest of my 3 friends seem to be afraid of the kid who verbally bullies me. Should i tell my teacher? I told my parents already. All my friends always have said that tatletailing is a b**** move. Also he got a group of kids in trouble for "throwing food at him" but they really didnt. He seemed to be afraid for telling on them so he moved seats at lunch. All the kids got mad at him for tattletaling false things so they extremely hate him now and they have always never liked him. |

Posted: 04 Feb 2016 01:26 PM PST I'm see myself as a nice person, I'm good to people, friendly, I help out and try to be the best me. Im very open minded and accept things. But I end up becoming peoples option for help and I'm only noticed when people need something. Just because I mind my own business around the show off and arrogant people I'm not comfortable with, I get picked on. At one occasion I punched the light out of the person (who initiated the fight) he had been verbally bullying me for several months, so I fought back in defense, but I ended up being hated by everyone else, only my teachers were on my side and my own 'friends' pointed that I did the kiddish thing in fighting back when the bully was the one acting like a kid, being a 21 year old college student and really needed to be put in his place, and now he actually stopped bullying me after that. After the incident I'm no longer close to the people I once called friends, coz it was just a 'forced' friendship and I was ditched but I did feel better coming out of it. I'm more independent and solitary now and I'm kinda okay with it, I stopped believing in friendship (and probably will do so, even for love) at this point and have distanced myself from people and do not ever intend to become close with anyone only to see them use and hurt me more, that's what has been happening all this while. Why does it have to be that the *******, jerks, bullies and the popular who are particularly good for nothing end up being loved by everyone ? |

Posted: 04 Feb 2016 12:54 PM PST I'm 28 and he's 41 I met him online in 2014 but I met him in person June of 2015 we had sex. (I'm the one who mentioned sex to him to begin with he never asked me about sex at all). Sometimes he makes fake accounts on Facebook and adds me on them. (I have actually been friends with him on his real account and talked to him on his real account before). For awhile he wouldn't talk to me even though I would email him. The other day he replied to my email telling me to call him. I was afraid at first to call him because when I called before he yelled at me. He said I was insulting his intelligence when I said he's been adding me on fake accounts but I know it's actually him. Once I asked him on the fake account why does he do it he said personal freedom. So he and I did talk a few nights ago I told him I didn't like it when he blocked me. I told him I might need his help with some writing for my English class. He told me I contact him if I needed his help. He has said this before that if I need his assistant he would help me. Yet he's blocked me before so he unblocked me after we talked the other night he unblocked me but blocked me from sending him messages. I've seen where people have said they have talked to him and that he's insecure. Once he told me that flirting with him flatters his ego whatever that means. |

I was bullied before and today I stood up for a girl being bullied by a guy and he grabbed me by the throat and threatened to stab me. I reported him to he principal and now my parents will be called. I don't want them to know. My mom will be so mad. What to do please help |

Posted: 04 Feb 2016 12:32 PM PST Recently I started giving a guy from school and ride because he lost his license via dui he s not to far from my house 15 mins or so and then back home, this turned into a taxi service to work pet store ect and constant complaining about his life problems which I honestly don t care about I don t want to give him rides any more brcause quite frabkly its getting expensive and annoying however busses don t run in time for him to make there on his own and I d hate to screw him over on his education so how do I politely tell him I can t give him rides |

I want to tell her I like her but I don t want to make things awkward or ruin our friendship. Idk if she likes me back. I know she likes me as a friend. But it's iust very confusing at times and I want to tell people but idk how to. I remember she said she still be my friend in the prank. They can never old a decent conversation that ISN'T about depression or some other bleak stuff. It's a routine. They whine and whine and I say something along the lines of "hey don't worry, blah blah". And the worst part is that they've grown really attached to me. I've suggested seeing a psychiatrist but they won't go for some reason. I'm scared of calling them out about it or stop being their friend because they're really sensitive. Posted: 04 Feb 2016 12:28 PM PST In social studies, I was put in a group to complete a project with 3 others. There was one other girl who seemed really interested in making friends. My first impression of her was that she sought attention, but for the sake of school, I entertained her gossip when while we did the work. Then one day she decided to sit next to me at lunch-- and that happened every day. Having someone beside me isn't a problem, it's just that every time I try to speak to a REAL friend, she interrupts me with really boring gossip. I switched to sitting in a corner so that maybe she wouldn't be able to sit next to me, but it just made her the only person who would be there. I've turned into a really quiet person now, and I can't even eat with my arms out because she's always trying to show off her drawing skills and spreading out her food, pencils, paper, etc. Sometimes I can't even sit properly, even when I push her away-- she just comes back into my personal space. Help? Well...sorry for such a long description but its hard to have a place to let out my frustration. Also, she speaks a lot louder than necessary, in my ear, when I'm not talking to her. For example, I would be talking to someone else, and she literally screams in my ears that mocha pocky sticks have more sugar than chips... |

In rankings I consider myself in the middle, I'm not popular but I'm not a loser. I sit next to a guy who absolutely stinks, he clearly doesn't shower and doesn't brush his teeth. And I on the other hand am a clean freak. Also the class is all juniors and some seniors so I don't know a single person. And I'm totally okay with making friends but seems like everyone else in that class has a friend. My "best friend" and I have a mutual friend that got a boyfriend and ditched us for him. We stopped being friends with her because she started telling all our secrets and was all around just not a good person to us. Anyyways her boyfriend broke up with her last week and he came crawling back and my "best friend" took her back. Now all of a sudden they re glued to the hip and she can barely even remember my name. Our friendship was put on the back burner and I suddenly dont matter to her anymore. She completely turned on me and is now treating me like crap all for someone who is just using her until another guy comes into the picture. Im incredibly hurt. I mean this girl was like my sister. We did everything together and I trusted her with my life. But she obviously didnt feel the same way. Should I talk to her or just leave it alone? Ive been giving her the silent treatment, im too pissed off to even know what to say to her right now. What should I say if I do talk to her? |

Posted: 04 Feb 2016 12:05 PM PST I was cutting in the bathroom, but i forgot to lock the door. a whole bunch of girls came in, and i rushed to the door, i managed to close and lock it, but i guess they thought i was killing myself because they told a teacher, who opened the door, and told me to go to the principal's office. i did, but i didn't want to talk about it, so they sent me home. it's been four months, and i'm still here. but i've been hearing horrible things lately. since i'm alive, everybody thinks i faked it.that i want attention. i don't! but then it spread, and the girls that saw me told my best friend (who i fell out with now, i have no more friends) that if they saw me they would beat me up. and when the school asked how they would react if i came back, they said they didn't want me to come back at all! I feel alone, and i know i have to go back to school and face everyone. they all hate me. i lost the only friends i had, and now i'm alone :c please help.. They always tell him to shut up. and other rude stuff. I asked them if their his friend and everyone said no, or that he is annoying. The problem is that i am a single dad and i think my kid is suffering because of this because she has no friends one of her friends came around to play and her dad was there but i really do not want to talk to people i do not know so i told them i was busy .
