Posted: 03 Jan 2016 11:03 PM PST In this scenario, you have spent no money and spent hardly any time planning because they changed their mind within a month of starting to plan. The bride also invited you to the courthouse for the new thing and still wanted your help with picking a dress and stuff. Would this make you mad? |
Question: Inexpensive place to get married in NC?!? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 10:47 PM PST I am looking for a an inexpensive venue to get married at in North Carolina. I would prefer to hold the entire ceremony there but just the wedding would be fine too. I would also like to have the option of spending the night, but again not a big deal. We are planning on getting married in May of this year. We are expecting about 75-100 people. I am looking more towards the piedmont area. Thanks! And a back yard wedding is out of the question. |
Posted: 03 Jan 2016 08:03 PM PST Our guest list about 25 at the most! My father will be marrying us as well as doing a prayer/blessing over our wedding. (Because my family is Non-denominational Christian and his family is LDS) His brother will be doing a toast and my Mother will be walking me down the aisle. My oldest sister will be our flower girl. Because it is so small we would love everyone to be involved in someway. I need more ideas to involve everyone and else. As well as things to do or a way to fill time a little. I don't want to waste peoples time for a really small wedding. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks again! |

Question: Where to propose in Colorado? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 01:20 PM PST My best friend of 10 years and my boyfriend of 3 years and I want to go to Colorado for Valentines day. I am planning to pop the question to him. There is no set destination in Colorado we are going to but someplace close to Colorado springs would be nice, or Denver. We both love nature and I was thinking of the conundrum hot springs - but because I'm choosing to propose on a holiday I don't want to be in a super crowded area. |
Question: What style of dress would you wear, if you were to elope? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 12:19 PM PST My fiance and I have been together for 2 years. We are eloping, because we don't want to pay for a big wedding. I'm trying to decide what type of dress I should wear for my 2nd wedding. What style of dress would you wear, if you were to elope? |
Question: Perché?? voi che mi dite? A me mi sobbalzava il cuore mentre mi fissava. |
Question: What is the best way to store an engagement ring? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 08:56 AM PST So I just got engaged within the past two weeks yay!! So I ve been wondering what is the best way to hold my ring when I am sleeping or doing things that could ruin it. Will those glass/crystal ring holders scratch the band of ring? Am I better off getting a small velvet lined trinket box? Thanks so much! |
Posted: 03 Jan 2016 08:15 AM PST My cousin and I have not been on speaking terms for two years. She is now getting married and personally invited everyone except me. She did, however, tell my brother to let me know about it. I do not want to attend because I was not personally invited. Am I wrong? |
Question: Dads fiancée wants my moms engagement ring!? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 04:31 AM PST My mom died 4 years ago. My dad is now engaged to his girlfriend of a year. They're planning to get married sometime this summer. My mom left me her engagement ring, that was my granny's before her, when she died. My dads fiancée has become obsessed with it since my dad told her the value. Now they want me to give it to her and have been putting so much pressure on me to give it as a gift. I've been told everything from "It would be a way to welcome her into the family" to "She deserves the ring as she's going to be your new mother figure" and everything in between. My dad has told me I have to give it to her because everything that's mine is his until I reach 18 (I'm 15 now). What would you do in my situation? I keep it on me at all times, but I honestly worry they'll try to snatch it off me or take it when I'm asleep. I can't give it to my granny to look after because I haven't seen her in months because my dad says I'm not allowed. I only see my dads family right now. And while I love them, I wouldn't trust them to not give it to him for her. They'd never do something to annoy him and risk getting cut out of his life. I'll look into a safety deposit box and other options mentioned. She left it to me in her will. |
Question: Do you think that it's selfish to elope, in order to avoid paying for a big wedding? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 03:23 AM PST My fiance and I are in our early 40's, and were both widowers. Neither of us have children. We have chosen to elope, because we don't want to pay for a big wedding, since we went through that with our first spouses. We both come from very large families, and they will expect us to pay for entertainment, food, alcohol, and the whole nine yards. We would spend that money on ourselves. Do you think that were being selfish? |
Question: I am getting married in nine months and I nees help? Posted: 03 Jan 2016 12:14 AM PST I have an absent dad and the closest person in my life is my mom so she is the one walking me down the isle and giving me away, my Delimma is I don't know what song to play as she walks me down |
