Question: What is a good Beatles song for the professional in a Wedding Ceremony? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 10:36 PM PST I have a friend that plays the piano really well and she has been in my life since I was 7. My dad passed away when I was 10 and I want something that apart of him in my wedding and his favorite band of all time was The Beatles. |
Question: How can I get close with this guy I like? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 09:31 PM PST There's this guy I like at a warehouse I used to work at but I haven't talked to him I have just been near him and my mom talks to him a little. He's very friendly but I'm going back to the place Tommorrow with my mom to talk to the manager about something but we don't work there anymore and we will try to stop by to talk to the guy I like and ask for his number or fb. I don't have many friends rn and I genuinely want to b his friend and if in the future he's interested we can b bf n gf. I don't know his age but he's always wearing a hat but he looks n his voice seems young like in his mid to late 20s n I'm 18.. Im sad n lonely everyday I need someone to talk to and laugh with I get along more with guys too I don't know what to do |
Question: I want some advise...? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 09:27 PM PST My boyfriend and I have discussed getting married. He's asked me, and I've said yes. But it's more about when to get married. We would like to do it this summer. But most people would say it's way too soon for us to even be engaged. I mean we are living together and this man is seriously everything I've ever wanted. Loyal, faithful, funny, hardworking, sexy, beautiful inside and out. And I've just been completely following my heart with this relationship since day one. So I would love to go ahead and go through with it but I would also like some advise from some of you married ladies who HAVE married their true love. |
Question: So irritated at fiance right now!!! *rant*? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 07:40 PM PST We are getting married this summer and he is working and going to school full time. I told him I don't expect him to pay anything for the wedding since his school is really expensive. I just found out he told his groomsmen he will pay for their tuxes/shoes, etc. He has been in several weddings and has paid for his own tux every time so he knows it isn't something the groom traditionally pays for. I'm just incredibly frustrated because he hasn't helped me or offered to help with any of the other expenses and now offers to pay for the tuxes!? Wtf! |
Posted: 17 Jan 2016 07:21 PM PST I'm getting married in Los Angeles, but I live in England - could do with some help finding stores in Los Angeles to get a head-start on wedding planning. Any help folks? Chantelle - I'm in the UK thus Google results are different to what I'd see if searching in the US. |
Posted: 17 Jan 2016 05:52 PM PST How do you get married in a court. I know you have to get a marriage license and that s about $60. But can you get married there or do you have to find a minister? And can a random person be a witness? |

Question: What would be a good style for a teen boy in a wedding? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 03:52 PM PST My partners son is going to be his best man, the wedding isn't very formal so I'd rather not have him in a full suit but not sure what would work for him as a smart/casual look. I like the look of white shirt with rolled-up sleeves coupled with a bow tie and suspenders, but worried it may be a bit young for him. He's 13 but you know that teens like to think they're older, also he's a tall boy so 'cute' looks really wouldn't work on him. Just in case it needs saying: he won't be made to wear anything he's not comfortable with. |
Question: Is an Unmarried Pregnant Bridesmaid wrong for not wanting to be in the wedding? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 03:50 PM PST My friends fight like cats and dogs - horrible for eachother - they don t even really believe in Christian God and they like to jab at the fact that I am unmarried pregnant woman. Why would I want to be their maid of honor? I feel like they are putting on a show, going $20K in debt to host this extravagant wedding - and mind you we are all still buying our own bridesmaid dresses (not to mention shoes, manicure, hair etc. totalling over $200 each). I am planning a family with my partner, no we are not married but we cohabitate and love eachother, and this is a huge expense to add on to my already financially strained life. I have already had my fun as a bridesmaid when I was younger and now that I am having a child I feel like its unfair to expect me to perform in a dog and pony show. Help! |
Question: What is a traditional Iraqi wedding like? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 02:38 PM PST I am an Iraqi girl born in America and I've gone to a few weddings but I have yet to see something that isn't similar to Iraqi weddings. What does the bride wear? Are there any special ceremonies? Since I live in America I'm quite disconnected from my culture and I want to learn about it. |
Question: Are wedding dresses allowed in california prisons? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 02:31 PM PST A friend is getting married and we would love for her to wear a gown for her first marriage. We are unable to find info on this subject. Thank toy |
Question: Has anyone rented a wedding dress? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 02:05 PM PST I am getting married on a very strict budget. I would like a beautiful dress, but dont care for keeping it afterwards, so it seems like renting would be a good option. I havent had a lot of lucking finding a place that rents wedding gowns. It seems like it would not be that weird, just like tuxedo rentals are very common. And suggestions? |

Question: Should I attend my sister's wedding? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 08:48 AM PST She left her husband for this man she is marrying in May. The couple has been having a relationship since a year before she left her husband. She had been married for 16 years with three kids. Part of the family is going and part is boycotting on moral grounds. I was appalled she left her husband the way she did but it is still my sister and I don't want to be on bad terms with her. Should I go, not go, or go but voice my objection? I have generally avoided my sister since she left the husband 3 years ago. I told the man when the relationship was revealed that if he loved her then he would have told her to go back and work things out with her husband. The husband-to-be has been divorced 3 times and is 57 (she is 39). |

Question: My son is not interested in marriage at all. How do I convince him to marry? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 02:53 AM PST He is really handsome and 25 years old. He has finished university and is currently working for an MNC. But he says that he doesn't want to marry. I've tried to hook him up but he says that he doesn't like any of them. What has gotten into him. |
Question: Does anyone have a suggestion? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 01:09 AM PST My fiance and I have decided that we want to have a dark carnival wedding. He will be dressed like a ring, aster and I don't know what to incorporate in my wedding dress or how to design it. I guess I should have been more specific. I mean since he is doing ringmaster, what is a good role I should do? Like how in a carnival there is a magician, fire show, fortune teller, clown, tight rope walker, etc. |
