Of course, we've texted very frequently, and all was going great! The past week, his texts have been rather short and not as energy-filled as before. Here's the only thing I can think of that may be the cause: I messaged him, saying that he was on my mind, a lot. And then, a day or two later, I messaged how excited I am to have a future with him. Now, I know what you're probably saying "NO! She didn't just tell him she can't wait for the wedding... and they've only been dating for a MONTH!! That's definitely the reason he hasn't texted - you scared him off!!" But... here's the catch that's super confusing to me... He has been very expressive of how he wants this relationship to end in marriage. When I agreed to date him, his words were "I'm for real committed to you - I want this relationship to last, and I want you to be the woman I spend my life with." So after hearing him say this so much, I thought he might want to hear it back, so he felt loved. Here's what I don't understand: If he has stated multiple times that he wants this relationship to end in marriage, then HOW might my saying I'm excited to have a future with him and that he's on my mind, scare him and cause him to pull back? Now, I'm not sure if he's purposefully choosing not to text, but I'm becoming suspicious and worried he might be finished with the relationship. How many days should I wait to text him, and what should I say? |

But Mike is still best friends with him and they hang out. I've talked to Mike about it and he gets it. He actually talks about him to me a lot which is sort of hard for me and keeps him in my life. I told Mike like 2 weeks ago that it would be the last time I talked about him because I needed to move on and get him out of my head. But I see his snapchats with him and I can't help but be saddish. I want my best friend to be happy but we've been friends for longer and I feel almost betrayed sometimes. Anyways, Hes always asking to see me eventhough we work together, which is understandable because we can actually talk without interruptions or not get distracted from our work. But When we hang out we both dont really say much, its just a lot of sitting and looking at eachother and smiling/giggling at little things we say to eachother. She told me she didn't feel the same way anymore and I suggested that shouldn't not be together anymore. Technically, I guess it was mutual but I still had( and have) strong feelings for her. For a little while, I was depressed but I got over the initial heartbreak and I even recognized some of the positives that came from our breakup and started gaining interest in another girl but nothing serious and I didn't really do much about it. A few days ago, I texted my ex (as a friend). We stayed up until 5AM texting. We talked a bit about our relationship but it really just felt like we'd never broken up and this was just a catch-up on how things have been. The next day we talked a lot and then the next day we stayed up until 2:30 texting and it probably could of been later. Now, when we initially started talking, before we went out, we would stay up very late talking and then when I told her that I liked her, she was surprised so I'm not quite sure how significant the fact that we talk late into the night is, but either way. I still have strong feelings for her and I'm not really sure what to do. I mean, I'm almost positive that she thinks of us as friends but I want more than that. I know that I should try and be her friend and talk to her and then whatever happens happens but I'm having a lot of trouble doing that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? We figured it everything on our own, and it was easy because at the time, back in middle school before everyone relaly started dating, their was no standards or norms that our relationship had to reach up to. We figured everything out together. We went very slow a and steady and our timeline was very long and spread out. But we lasted and even got to the sex stuff. Basically I'm scared that now I'll have no idea what to do now. I wanna start dating again, eventually, but I don't wanan be so clueless and awkward that I scare off he guy. I don't know how fast or slow to take things and I don't know whether I should wait to do things or to do them right away. I'm scared I'm gonna take things either way to fast, just because recently that's how it was with my ex, or that I take things way to slow, because that's how things were in the beginning with my ex. I'm also worried that I won't know how to say no to someone who shows interest in me but I don't like. | Question: How do I convince my mom to sleepover at my boyfriend s grandma s house? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 06:48 PM PST My boyfriend is trying to find a place to move into with his coworkers so he s currently staying at his Grandma s house. We re both 18 and his grandma said I m welcome to stay the night if I want to. But my mom won t let me because of "sex" I don t have much of a libido and so my boyfriend and I don t have sex very often (which I ve told this to my mom before. Plus, I m not comfortable doing that at his grandma s house, especially since we d be sleeping in the living room. My mom already knows I have sex (and that I m on birth control, and honestly there s no need for her to try and stop it since it s just going to happen sometimes. But in the most respectful way, how can I convince my mom to let me stay the night there? |

I'm 21, and I'm not willing to end the relationship, but I don't know if I'm ready to settle down so soon. I have all these sexual urges, and my boyfriend just isn't meeting them. He's not bad in bed, but he's not very exciting or adventurous either. And even though I don't want to feel this way, because I'm not a cheater and I never will be, I crave being with other men. I just wish I would've met my boyfriend later on so I could have my fun before settling down in life. Does anyone have any advice? I've already talked to him about how I feel unsatisfied in the bedroom, and I've tried getting him to try new things, but it only turns him off. I don't really know what to do, I feel stuck. |

We haven t made it official to actually call it a relationship. Well anyways, I ve moved in with him and I absolutely love his family. Okay now, he left with some friends to attend a party but he came back and acted like he was looking for something and picked up a condom. We have sex like almost everyday, so why in the hell would he need a condom at a party . Since we re not officially together I m not that upset about it but should I be? |

She's a friend of my friends and we see each other once or twice a year because she works far and only go back to our town during important events. I knew she likes me, but I am sure I don't have feelings for her during the last four years of our friendship. However, this time, when she went back, I'm always thinking of her and I always want to be with her. I am not sure about my feelings tho. | Question: Who should I choose? My boyfriend or my friend? Posted: 17 Jan 2016 06:46 PM PST So my boyfriend of 8 months doesn't like my friend, a girl I've known since I was in 6th grade. (I'm a senior in high school now) He doesn't like her because the most recent time I hung out with her (which was a couple a months ago) we smoked weed. I told my boyfriend and he got upset because he felt that she was pressuring me into smoking because it's not something I'd normally do. She didn't pressure me, I wanted to smoke but he still feels like she made me do it and turned me into a bad girl. I do not smoke regularly and that experience helped me realize it's not something I'm in to. He says he doesn't want me to be around her anymore. Now I'm caught between making him mad again if I hang out with her and keep telling her different excuses for why I can't hang out. Who should I choose or what should I tell them? |
