Question: Is it okay to have a matron of honor and a maid of honor? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 01:13 PM PST I am about to marry the man of my dreams and the only detail that I cant quite figure out is my bridal party. I was recently the maid of honor for my college best friend's wedding who I had only known for a few shorts months before her wedding and she is a best friend that I see by my side for the rest of my life. The other girl is my childhood best friend, we have been best friends since like 2nd grade, we have had our ups and downs but we have always came through even though sometimes our families think we are complete opposites and shouldn't be friends... would it be okay to have my college friend as my matron of honor and my childhood friend as my maid of honor since she is still unmarried? (Who would I put beside me in the line up to hold my flower, and rings and fix my dress?) |
Question: Do you think a secret marriage 1 1/2 years before ceremony is wrong? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 10:24 AM PST My fiance and I are going to the courthouse to get married in March (2 months) and planning to keep the legal wedding a secret from everyone but our parents. We have the full ceremony and reception planned for September of 2017. Do you think it is wrong/immoral/attention-whoring to still have a ceremony if we have technically been married for nearly 2 years? |
Question: Im the bride I need help planning my bachelorette party how to ask other bms to help pay? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 10:08 AM PST The reason I am planning my own is because my family is having huge fights over my sister being the maid of honor my parents insist on it I tried to change it to my bff but that back fired my mom wants nothing to do with the wedding but she's my sister any ways my bms send they'd rather I plan it they're too busy etc I am planning it with one of my bms but long story short I am not doing it to be in control or whatever you think there is a legit reason why I am planning it myself my bm that is helping me plan actually told me she doesn't want me to pay she's on board it's just the other ones Idk if they will or will not be interested I am in a strange catch 22 situation of shitty people Correction my sister wants nothing to do with the wedding she is a selfish person my mom insist on it |

Question: Need Ideas for an awesomely original proposal.? Posted: 22 Jan 2016 11:52 PM PST Now I d like to think I m fairly romantic but my problem is that when I ponder a proposal idea, nothing seems good enough... or original to say the least. I m not looking for anything crazy expensive or preferable costly at all (seeing as how I just got "let go") but I want it to be a moment she ll be proud to tell everyone. She s big into her family and they already know about it. My mom is also flying out from az the 2nd week of Feb so i wanted to do it sometime around then. I m in Norther NJ so I was thinking something in the city or something scenic but I m definitely open minded to anything... PLEASE HELP! |
