Hey guys, I have spent almost half of my life with a negative balance in my bank account. I know it sucks, and I often keep on paying extra rents just to get out of this negative amount. And after a year I did it. But something that really bothers me is that why didn't my parents help me ? The reason why I am saying this is because I asked them to help me out and instead of paying the bank rents I could has simply payed them the money back. My parents have about 200 plus acres of land in Pakistan, they have money and I mean a lot. If they well a single acre, they can either buy 10 BMW 7 series (2016 models) or a Ferrari. I have spent my entire life even as a kid without having any real money in my pockets. My parents tell me that all of these things are mine and my brothers once we get married and start planning our lives but they what they don't realize is that life is short, what if I die tomorrow what then. I don't need there money anyways, and I also remember as a kid that my parents wanted me and my brother to learn it the hard way. There are literally other children in the world that have nothing and when we went to school we were equal just like the others. I learnt these things the hard way and I appreciate that. I want to be self dependent and don't have any big dreams either. That's it but how can I make them understand to cut that crap of 'it's all yours when you grow older' since the past 8 years. I am 26 already how much old do they want me to get?

My mom and I have never had a great relationship. When she and my dad divorced she took a lot of her anger out on us kids and still to this day bashes my dad even though my dad has been awesome to us, helped her with more money than most dads would and picked us up from school everyday. Almost 10 years ago I moved 4 hours away from my parents and got married. I've barely visited home. My sisters and dad come up to see me but it's been years since my mom and I have seen each other. After all these years I decided I didn't want to argue with her so when she says things instead of arguing, I let her vent and dont antagonize the situation. Recently my sister and dad came up for a visit so she's jealous and wants to see me so much more now. The problem is she wants me to go see her (my husband is a workaholic and doesn't get much time away from work) so that probably wont happen but today she flipped out because she asked if we would go pick her up so she could visit for a couple of days. I told her no, my husband has already said no to that and I don't want to go alone. I don't see us going anytime soon. Am I being too harsh? I would like to hang out but it bugs me that she only wants us to do the work. ugh... help!

My sister and brother in law gave permeant/ temporary custody over to my mother in law and she is trying to give the child up to another family member for adoption. Is this legal and can it happen? I know that permeant and temporary are different things, but that is what she is saying she has. I thought you had to have one or the other.

Question: My brother and i are on the bus everyday. There is a kid on the bus who takes pics of my brother? Is he aloud to do this. We are worried?

The other day I hit my sister. It wasn t hard, just a slap on the arm. I m 18 and she s 19 and we were arguing and it just happened. I know it s inexcusable and we talked about it and I apologized. But at the time I was arguing with my mom and sister and after I hit her my mom said "what is wrong with you I have always taught you never to hit anybody" but she hit me all through my childhood and she still does. I remember being between my bed and wall when I was 13 and my mother was beating me over the head with a cooking spoon. And having her slam my head into the wall and grabbing my hair and hitting me in the face. And a lot of other times like that. She has always been very abusive to all of us but especially me. We didn t do anything bad, it was usually just because we didn t clean up. I ve never told anybody about it because I love my mom and never really considered myself abused when I m realizing that s what it was. I m confused because when she said "I ve always taught you not to hit" I said how she used to and still does beat me and she s a hypocrit but she started denying that it ever happened and telling me to stop acting like she abused me and I m damaged. And my sister even said "stop acting like an abused little kid" I know she was mad at me but I don t know why she would say that when it happened to her too? Do they not remember? Or are they just denying it? Because I know it happened but I feel like I m going crazy and maybe I was wrong..?

She's 16, turning 17 in March. She gets everything handed to her. She acts like her life is so hard. Today she just came home from school, but she was supposed to stay after for detention. But her "friend" who she thinks is her friend, is the reason she has detention. They both do. Her "friend" is a bad influence on her and my mom doesn't like her. My sister is a brainwashed little girl who follows everyone JUST so she "isn't a loser" She does nothing at home but stay in her room in bed, she will eat and go right to bed. She doesn't take care of herself very good. She doesn't drink enough water or milk, only soda and energy drinks. I just fear she is risking her life both physically and mentally. I talk to her ALL THE TIME and she understands things. She can be very rude and a non-believer about what her family says to her. We all went through what she's doing but she seems so like...persistent that she isn't going to change. She is NOT the kind of person who she says she is. She thinks she is so different from everyone. She did things that her "friends" do just so she "fits in". What should I do? We are all there for her and she knows that but I just worry sometimes and feel bad for my mom when my sister is mean. My sister acts like what she does "is cool" and she will brag on Snapchat and Facebook how she got detention and everything. She is kinda, yeah, an attention seeker. But she doesn't see anything. She's blind because of her "friends." She needs new friends.

I'm 18 and have been living in constant fear of leaving my house and moving out although I know I should. My mom is mentally and emotionally abusive I'm afraid that she will follow me and force me back. I lived with my bf for 2 months but she kept showing up at his house and talking to his mom it made me uncomfortable. It's mostly my grandmother who posts stupid crap. I travel and I'll post a photo or something and she'll post about if I've checked the weather or not, starts talking about random stuff like her doctors appointments or pushing how she thinks I should be living my life and then ends with telling me to be safe. It's great and all, I'm glad she cares but my Facebook is not the place to post those things.....ever. Like never ever. Like the picture, comment on IT, stay on topic. All that other stuff can be texted to me in a text message. I don't see anyone one of my friends on Facebook with older relatives posting older relative crap on their pages. She does it to my boyfriend too. Asking him personal stuff about our life. Did we do x y or z before we left the house? Has he paid x y or z bill? Can we come by and do this or that? All normal and ok questions to ask just not on a status update or a photo on Facebook. A couple people have already tried talking to her, my boyfriend and I started just deleting the really stupid off topic stuff and it's just not working. I'm not wanting her to stop caring, to stop telling me about her day, to stop asking about my life, I'm just wanting her to stop putting it all on Facebook. I'm 26, I'm too old for that crap to be posted all over my Facebook. My mom has been posting mean spirited stuff and making comments like I'm proud to be a "*****" because I liked a post from "The Bitchy Bible". How do I get it through their heads?

Basically my parents have never let me leave our house during my entire life. im homeschooled and have never made a single friend for my entire 15 years of life. if i leave the house, its only ever been with my parents and for religious reasons. im not allowed to leave or go anywhere on my own. i feel like im missing out on life. i tried asking my mom about it but she tells me to "focus on my homework". the only source of information on the outside world is through the internet/tv/relatives barely ever come over. naturally, its taken a toll on my mental health.i have severe social anxiety and depression because i feel like im missing out on experiences people my age have like hanging out with friends, shopping, having parties, and literally anything that involves socializing. i feel so trapped and alone and every day is a tired routine. i am literally trapped in this awful situation where i cant grow socially. ive actually considered suicide or running away but i love siblings too much to leave them. (im their older sister) my only joys in life are drawing and music. my parents dont see anything wrong with how they treat me and im beginning to wonder, is this not as bad as i make it out to be??? i only recently (2 years ago) realized that this wasn't normal and i shouldnt be kept prisoner in my own house, but recently ive been having my doubts. i know my parents love me and they certainly don't abuse me so why am i so miserable??? i dont want to call CPS because i dont want to tear our family apart and cause any drama. D:

I like to keep my bedroom door closed because for 1) my room gets even colder during the day (I'm not allowed to keep my heat on during the day, my mom tries to act like she cares about the environment and stuff...) and for 2) its my room and no one really needs to go in there but me and my sister ( we share a room) but every single day, my stepdad goes up stairs and opens my door. it seriously irks my nerves. (basically, there is nothing upstairs except my room, my little brothers room, and two closets. honestly there's NO REASON for anyone to go upstairs.) When i try to explain why i want my door shut (privacy) they say I don't need privacy, I'm 16. OKAY? my sister is 26.

I'm not allowed to touch an electronic device on weekdays, one hour of computer time on Friday nights, and three hours on Saturday and Sunday. She always threatens me about my computer time so if I accidentally misbehave (which is often) she'll say be, "No computer time tonight!" or, "Two hours computer time off on Sunday!" Being a keen writer, I always enjoy updating my stories on the internet, but even that counts in as "playing time" so I have to write my stories in my own time. Even going out with friends to the swimming pool counts in as the "computer time" which makes no sense at all. My mum says that I need to revise notes that I've made in lessons (no one in my class makes notes and they all think that I'm nerdy by this) when I've already revised them. I'm in top classes for everything but my mum isn't content. She always says, "I'll love you no matter what," but then sometimes says, "You've got to get full marks on this test," and if I happen to drop a mark on the test, she'll say, "I don't love you anymore," until I revise in front of her. I think that she only counts studying if she can see it, so she's oblivious of the fact that I DO study in my bedroom! When I ask her about more computer time and how everyone else can just check their phone messages whenever they want instead of cramming all week's worth of online-socializing into one hour, my mum would just say, "Why do you always have to compare everything!" which I get really annoyed. She doesn't listen. Help!

Facts: My in-laws live across the highway from our house. We've been married for 6yrs, dated 6yrs, and have known each other and our families for over 20 years. My mother-in-law never visited my father while he was still be treated in the hospital even though my father-in-law did. When we knew that my father was dying and only had hours to live, only my father-in-law showed up at the hospital. My in-laws did not send any flowers or words of condolences to my family or my mom. I've talked with my husband about how I felt and he was deeply upset for me. He does not know how to express his feelings and is probably afraid of offending his family so he hasn't talked to them frankly. From the time we told his family about my dad likely to pass, my MIL has not spoken a single word to me. We have her on film where she is happily laughing and smiling throughout the funeral services. My dad passed away only a month ago and we still have not received a call or visit from any of his family. I could not deal with the hurt and pain of losing a parent at the same time so I told my husband that I cannot face his family for the time being. But I do not want to put my husband in the middle. I'm determined to visit my MIL for her upcoming birthday and wedding anniversary because I need to forgive her and this is my way of showing it. However, how can I truly look at her in the face and not feel hurt and anger? Is there a mental trick I can use to show my genuine kindness and forgiveness?

My meglomaniac sister is flirting with my new husband every time she comes over to see "me." She never came to see me for 10 years before I got married and was always in a hurry to leave. Now she makes excuses to come over twice a week. She sits down at the table with her chair facing my husband with her back facing me. She then engages him in their own conversationm She ignores me or talks over me while my husband continues to pay attention to her. I always end up leaving the table because I am ignored and disrespected. When I politely tell her it s time for my family to eat dinner she refuses to leave. I'm a 14 year old girl from Ireland .So I am 14 years old, and two years ago my parents split up. My dad had an affair.... He abused me and my brother when we were kids by hitting us and verbally abusing us. Now my dad lives with the other affairer and I think she will become pregnant. My brother and sister don t see or talk to my dad and want nothing to do with him. I am the only one in contact with him.. He is really fun and easy to be around now. And he is happy. I m not saying that I forgive him. I don t know when or where I will. But seeing him lets me have a break from my family at home. I fight all the time with my family and I feel like I have know one. Also on top of all the crap in my life my best friends sister told my she wanted to kill herself! I told the principle of my school and she handled it but now my friend won t talk to me. Then one day And so I get off my school bus and go to cross the busy road.I run across the street thinking what have I to lose? If I make it I go to school and if I don't I'm going to get hit by this bus. I have never thought about killing myself and this quick and stupid thinking really surprised me. Anyway as run across the road I slip and fall directly on my shoulder which right then popped out of its socket for the first time in my life. You need to work to pay bills. I mean my daughters father makes 1000 in 5 days that's 4000 a month enough to live well off better than a lot of people. I am 21 years old and I feel terrible that I am dependent on my mother for things like medication and money once in a while. I am currently going to school and while tuition is not a problem because I have scholarship, my living expenses are handled by my parents. My family has an income of 120k a year, a lot of which goes to taxes, but they can support me. I feel really guilty about this. I don't like handouts and depending on other people. I have always hated receiving help. I just feel vulnerable and pathetic. I don't make a lot of money and the jobs around my school aren't very plenty unless you are willing to work full time, (which I can't due to unpaid internships I am doing). My question is, is it bad to have this dependency at 21? My parents scold me for working while going to school and deep down knowing my mom, she will use the fact that she helped me through school to guilt me somehow. I don't care if I struggle so much, I just don't want depend on them. Filipino culture often emphasizes the child being supported this way, so that the child can care for their parents in their old age. It's just the way they did things in the Philippines. I am not sure if I am being a bad son or not.

My Uncle(Father's elder brother) got money from my grandfather for starting the family business, later my father joined the business along with other brothers As the time progressed, rest all the brothers took their share leaving only my uncle and my father. My uncle got some signature from my father stating that in case of disputes, all the business will go to the first party which is him. Nobody knew his intentions. Later on he got his son in the business and made him partner, deducting the share percentage of my father and little piece of his percentage. My father agreed as he trusted his brother They purchased the land of the business with the money from the shop(stating that they got from somewhere else) and got half of it in the name of his wife(my aunt) and the other half on my grandmother's name(deceased) They also build a home on top of the business(no one lives there) and got it registered to my (aunt) They have done monopoly now, keeping almost all the money getting generated from the business and seems really tough how things will move forward. My father is in his sixties and I am not there in the city as I took a job somewhere else as didnt saw any future in the family business shop after all these plots and issues. What are the rights of my father in this. Is there any way in which he can get the fare share of the business once he decides to move on

I'm 17 and I generally have a good relationship with my parents. For the past two weeks, it's been so annoying. I started going to the gym, I invited my mother and best friend to start coming with me. Every time I ask how to do something my mom hogs the trainer and tells her to excuse me because I should know how to do everything. I kept getting frustrated and ended up taking it out on the trainer. The next day I went back with just my friend to see if it was really my mom who made it annoying. I had the best day ever. No eye rolls from my mom, I could freely ask questions, ect. Now, my mom has gone the last two days, with MY friend, and will not allow me to go. What is this? Pre school? That's so upsetting because she has told me once that my friends only like me so they can hang out with her. It just makes me feel like I'm worthless. My mom is also obsessed with the "Gym lifestyle". My terrible excuse of a biological father tried to talk to me for the first time in my life, and I was telling her. I thought she'd talk with me about it, but she almost immediately changed to subject to how much weight my neighbor lost, and how she wants to do the same. It's not like my mom is fat. She is 125 pounds, so I didn't think she'd get obsessed. I don't know what to do. I'm already having a really rough time because I'm a lesbian, and she's very homophobic. My girlfriend and I broke up this week after a year, and I can't tell her because she can't know I'm a lesbian. What to do? All she can do is talk about dieting now. I can't talk about my girlfriend to my therapist because the first day I went my mom said she was proud of me for not being a lesbian, and the therapist said she'd expect nothing less than perfect from my parents. None of my friends know so I'm dealing with it on my own. I do admit this is probably making me unpleasant to be around. I'm not saying it's all my mom, I just need someone to tell me how to control my feelings of annoyance to my mom.

I have always wanted to live abroad for a year or two and figured after college was the time to do it since i am unsure what career path i want to take and have little responsiblity and obligations at this point. I want to test out teaching to see if i will like it and also travel. (I don't have a education or english degree, but i am taking a TEFL course) My parents think it is a waste of time and will ruin my future. I have been dating my boyfriend for 2 years and we live together and he has not met my family. Partially because they live in Colorado and I live in PA. I am the youngest of 6 and not close with my family at all except for 1 brother that I see once a year. I grew up extremely poor because my parents were selfish with money, we never ever got new stuff or even helped with an good habbits or life skills. I will admit that this is what probably made me who I am today. - I graduated from one of NYS best universities and landed a good job in architecture. Care a lot about my health and am very independant All my siblings are poor, have bad health habits, and grumpy, and not welcoming. My family has no bearing on my life what so ever. I really don't want him to run when he meets them, especially because there are some siblings I haven't seen in over 5 years. His family is very cookie cutter suburban and I think mine will scare him off. anyone have some experience with this? I know he's thinking of purposing but probably wants to meet my family first.

Random strangers online have decided to contribute to my problem by blacklisting me from feminization/metrosexual programs from their countries after I told them my situation of missing out and being blacklisted from ever attending by parents, possibly giving random people the idea that I must be a violent and rebellious person who should miss out. My parents only did that because my violent 27-year-old macho brother attended when teen siblings were brought there by parents where they now wanted a macho child in the family Here are 3 reasons why random people blacklisted me: 1 - They thought I was only copying my siblings and that I'm actually a macho man. I'm not, and metrosexuality was always something I closely related to. 2 - They wanted to help enforce masculinity in me by helping my parents blacklist me from ever attending by telling moderators I'm an undesirable person throughout their state and country (now blacklisted from ones in America, Australia and some places in Europe). I personally think it's an idiotic idea. 3 - They thought I am what those lies I stated about me were true. I only said lies about me being a violent person who assaulted both parents and siblings, being in trouble with the police and being registered as a sex offender. I'm being blacklisted from ever attending feminization programs that makes males metrosexual with hairstyle ideas and dance moves. I don't deserve this.

I'm really worried because if they get a divorce, my dad is going to leave us and my mom doesnt have a job. I'm scared we're going to end up homeless. My mom keeps telling me that everything's going to be okay, but I know that its not. I was getting ready for school, I'm supposed to be waiting for the bus at 8:22, but I forgot my jacket and when I came back it was 8:24. I'm supposed to be waiting for the bus at 8:22, but it doesn't usually come until 8:30, so didnt think that I missed the bus, but I ended up waiting until 9:05. School starts at 8:55, so I missed the school bus and had no other way to get to school and my moms really mad at me because my dad took her car to work today. I tried to explain to her that it was an accident, but she doesn't believe me and now shes really mad. How do I get her to stop being mad at me?

I m fifteen and I wanted to get the new batman. To do this(since I have no job) I needed money. So me and my mother arranged that I do a whole bunch of chores for the missing 15 dollars I didn t have. My mother knows the batman games, and she thinks Im mature enough. My mother is emigrant. Almost 9 years she s in othet country and works very hard to have money for my sister wich is married and for my father. He never has worked in his life. Just 2 years before i came to my mother to help her. But salaries are very small and it s not enough. My father continious to ask money to my mom and to me too. When i see how hard she has been working here i feel bad and i hurt my heart. I dont want she to continou working anymore. I want to have normal life as everyone. My father in law is an arrogant and opinionated person (he is a corporate executive). He often gets on his soap box and lectures my husband and I about anything from finances, parenting, to where we live. A few weeks ago, he lectured us about living in a subdivision that is actually quite nice, but is surrounded by the ghetto and its in the major city (he lives over an hr away in a fancy mansion). My family had loaned the cash for the house and I asked my mom "do you think Tom is right in being concerned about where we live, he says its dangerous and its embarrassing to tell his friends where his son lives". My mom ran and immediately told my grandma that Tom started saying vicious things (she exaggerated I am sure) and my grandma read me the riot act last night saying that if I am not grateful for the house she purchased for us, then she can sell it to someone else (no she cant, the deed/county/state record is in my name and we pay our money every month), but she does love to talk smart and talk big. Why do I always somehow get blamed for things my father in law says (which are his opinions and he is entitled to)? He also said he is tired of their drama and refused to visit at Christmas and I was told I should have handled it with him. She does mock my in laws saying they are hoity toity, snobs, arrogant, etc.

I am 15 and my 19 year old cousin is having a baby. This Sunday is the wedding shower and my mother says I can't go because the cousin isn't married and had the baby right after high school. So, I am the odd one out in the bunch. I have 2 half siblings and 4 step siblings. They're all boys. We had the two younger step siblings over, as the two older ones have moved out and gotten married. I have been helping stack wood in our green house since last Monday. It's now the next Tuesday. I was only paid $10 and m big brother was paid $20, and we've been doing about the same amount of work, even though I did a little less than him Sunday and yesterday. Also, when I cuss and my little brother tattles on me, they punish me, but when I tell them he cussed, they say they weren't there, they didn't hear it, and they don't want me to tell them that again. When I have to do the dishes, I ask if I can get help from my brothers, and my mom says I can do them by myself. But when my brothers ask for help, my mom makes me go help them, and my little brother doesn't do crap. This isn't about me being ungrateful, this is about the unfairness that my parents are giving me. I know you might say, the world isn't fair, so just deal with it. But come on, you have to agree this isn't right. Shouldn't I be treated the same even if I AM a girl? My parents won't listen to me. It all started years ago. At first he was an alright guy. He bought me a pair of sneakers and he was really nice. Some nights I'd hear them having sex, I remember one night so clearly... I heard my mum moaning, he started calling out my name as in to scare her but she said she wanted to stop because he could've woken me. He turned on the light and checked if I was asleep, I pretended to sleep. I was young, about 9. I thought he was hurting her.One day I saw him giving her anal. His phone went off and that's when i went to give it to him. I was shocked. He cheated on her. That's when I started to hate him. I've never forgave him to this day. Thing's were quiet after that for a few years, him showing up here and there, they were obviously keeping in contact but were doing it when I was at my dads. I had made it clear to my mum that I hated him and I want to kill him. For the past 3 weeks, because he's been "looking" for a place to stay. I've caught them having sex and now I've heard talk about him moving in, even tho my mum assures me they are just "friends". I told her I wanted him gone and she brought up the "do you not want me to be happy card". Tonight we went and got KFC, I told him I hated him, that I had no respect for him and called him an asshole. That's when he called me one back and abused me verbally . I'm 14, my sister is 12. It s a long story, but around a month ago my mom found out I vape. When confronted, I was totally honest about it and told her the truth about everything (who I got it from, how long I've had it, etc). We sat down and had a good conversation, and we talked about both sides of the story. In short, she told me the dangers of vaping, and we agreed that it'd be best that I stopped vaping. We had a very calm, respectful conversation. I m only 15, so I guess it's reasonable for her to be concerned or have suspicions. however, the last couple of weeks have been terrible for me. Every time I have friends over she always is suspicious of us. She'll smell me everywhere I go (my vape pen had a really strong smell of whatever flavor I vaped) and confronts me every time something smells off. I haven't vaped since she caught me, but every little thing I do just sets off an alarm for her. (Air fresheners, having friends over, spending long periods of time in my room, etc.) I really wish she could give me some space and just trust me again. It's so bad that I'm afraid to ask her if I could spend a night at a friends house over the fear that she'll call my friends parents or something like that. I feel this is just hurting our relationship and is taking me to the breaking point. I know the best way would be to confront her, but even I'm scared of doing that. Help!

Growing up my sister was my mother's golden child. My mother would dump on me and worship my sister while my other two sister's fell into the okay category. I moved in with my father at age 12 and mostly was just close to him the rest of my life and resented that my older sister was the golden one (my parents divorced). My younger two sisters I get along fine with now as an adult but my older sister I don't as she resents that I was closer to my Dad and I resent she was the favorite of our mother's (we had different fathers). My mother died last June and I am wondering now should I forgive my older sister for being the favorite? I am 37 now and she is 46. I am an adult living with my mom. I dont have enough funds to move out on my own yet. Trying to save enough. I have a 4 year old son Well lately my moms boyfriend has been complaining about everything I do, makes the smallest things into the biggest deals and complains to my mom about it. Like the other day I was washing clothes and they were in the dryer well he complained that he had left his clothes in the washer all day because of my clothes being in the washer when they weren't even in there for to Long also when we are at the table he gives my son these stares when im not looking and makes my son get angry also complains about the food i buy when i go shopping when i shop with my money then he expects to have the kitchen to himself and wont be in the kitchen if me or my sister is in there, also he yells at my mom for everything and tells her what to do calls her by women yells at her if she has anyone over. He only helps her pay for the car payments and acts like he can control everything that goes on and then mostly every night when I go to use the bathroom at 10:00 pm he complains that he cant sleep cause he hears the water or something and makes my mom come out and yell at me. then at 6:30 a.m I hear him talking **** about me to my mom and my mom also. I do help out around the house cleaning up everyday or making sure the kitchen, floor and dining area is spotless also clean up after people but no one appreciates it. Alright so my life here isn't that great. I have a stepdad, who's really mean, has anger issues, and is lazy. I remember he told me I was born to be a slave once. He hits me, which he refers to as "discipline" but in my eyes, a grown man should not be beating a 15 year old girl who isn't even his biological child. Maybe a younger child, but no it doesn't seem right to me. I always get yelled at and get punished for stupid things and have to do everything in the house. All my dad does is yell at us (me and my younger siblings) while he's playing video games all day. My mom sees him beat us but claims "we deserve it." They also hardly ever let me see my family on my biological fathers side, I've only seen them maybe 4 times. I'm the only one born from my biological father. He is the literal definition of me. But the so-much better version of me. His grades are wayyyy better than mine. He tries to be kind and start engaging in a conversation with me when I'm trying my best to ignore me. He gets along with my cousin when I really suck at talking to them. My husband's mother is young for her age and has had 4 preemie babies (1 of which died before 24 weeks). She has a congenital condition in which she cannot carry babies to term. Anytime I have a little ache or pain (I myself am full term and due any week now) or symptom- she insists I visit the hospital and gives me the worst guilt trip about it until I go (my mother is a nurse and I have grown up around dr's and nurses my whole life + had medical training myself), I know when its time to seek medical attention. I was chastised by a nurse yesterday for "wasting time" and for "not being a grown up and listening to what everyone else tells me to do instead of what I feel is right" (regarding going to the hospital just because my dr said to). Like I expected, i was sent home after an hour with a clean bill of health and she even got my husband (her oldest) to chew me out about going as well. So, how can I get her to stop freaking out over any little thing? She did seek medical attention 2x and had a negligent medical team who refused to listen to her about her organ defect and risks and the baby was born too early.

I'm a 17 year old boy and I frequently have moments where I just break down and lose it. I can never stop thinking about my past and have had occasional suicidal thoughts. I don't like talking to many people about it and hate therapists, I just want to know if there's a way I can cope with this on my own. To give a bit of history, my dad died of cancer when I was 5, me and my sisters were taken away from my mom when I was 8 due to neglect. We all lived with my aunt for a couple years until we were split up and she kicked me out for getting in trouble at school. After that I went to a children's shelter for a few months before going into foster care. Me and my foster parents got real close and they were gonna adopt me but she got pregnant and they didn't think they could handle all the kids and me. So I moved with my grandparents on the other side of the country in California. They were great people but I was always angry and easily irritated, and the foster family took me back after a year. They adopted me and a year later made me leave because I didn't want to follow their whole religion thing, they were pentecostal and super strict about everything. So I went back to my grandparents and have just not been able to control my thoughts and emotions and I've been with them for a couple years now.

I live with my mom. But I want to live with my dad. My mom knowa this. We told her awhile ago. She stopped talking to me for 3 weeks. But my dad never actually went through with it. He's finally filing the papers. I don't want her to disown me or hate me. I already basically have what I want to tell the judge what I'm going to say written and memorized. My father is not in the best financial state, but with the income pool of my stepmother, aunt, and uncle all living in one huge household, we will be just fine, not to mention the fact that with my job, paying me hourly pay, plus tips is enough for me to pay for my own pleasures if wanted. My mother has many rules, which seems like that's how it should be, but she's very lenient on those rules, and never sticks to any of her rules or punishments. Although I shouldn't say this to a judge, but I love irony, she let's us get away with murder. Metaphorically speaking. Basically my stepmother was in a bad mood because I drunk her Hennessy and when we argue it kicks off, she took knocked my food I was eating out my hand so I called her a bîtch, she got upset and slapped me, I then pushed her and she fell in the corner, we started throwing things at each other, she threw her shoes at me so I threw a ashtray at her and it missed and it the wall, we then got into a physical fight and we landed on the sofa, I was on top of her and she spat in my face, so I started strangling her, I stopped and she said "why don't you be a man for once in my life and fûck me" I was disgusted because her husband/my dad passed away this year and he'd be disgusted so I called her a disgusting bîtch and as I can getting her she grabbed my shirt and pulled me back towards her, she pulled up her dress and took down her underwear and said "go on just fûck me" I couldn't help myself and I ended up having sex with her, I feel sick and regret it and I can't even look at her anymore without being absolutely disgusted.
