We each have a child from previous relationships. Around Christmas he said he didn't want another child since his son is very much a handful with adhd. He was dead set on no more. We will be arguing over something and he will lift his hand like he's going to slap me or something. When I flinch he will just ask why I get scared if he's never hit me before. I tell him I'm afraid that he's going to one day. He claims he will never hit me and I asked if thats so why does he lift his hands at me. He says its because he WANTS to hit me but wont. I don't know how to take that. I get what he means that sometimes you are so angry you just want to punch someone, It's just aggression and it's normal. I've felt that when I've argued with my sister or brother. But I think there is a difference between WANTING to hit someone and actually scaring them into thinking your going to hit them. I'm sure over time I would just be desensitized to it and wont flinch but it just makes me question. Because his hand is already in position all he needs is one movement and could hit me. We don't even argue all that much but this happens everytime we do. I kind of feel that if it isn't broken don't fix it and honestly nothing has happened. But then I also feel like you leave before it escalates. I just don't know if it would ever actually escalate into anything since he is usually a very calm non violent person.

I hate my parents for not putting me in school. They made me do homeschool my whole life and then put me in online school for my highschool and now i feel like im completely unprepared for college. im not as socially awkward as most homeschoolers but i dont have that experience like everyone else does. I wish i would had at least did my senior year in school but my parents forbid it.. I cant get any good scholarships because i didnt attend a school in my state. Knowing how to deal with teachers and classes is a struggle and im only a freshman in college. I feel like my parents screwed me up for not even giving me a chance in school i will never do that to my kids but i cant move on...

I've known this guy for about 5 years, I'm 21 and he's about 30. We weren't in a relationship but he always tried to force me into being in a relationship with him. Hi! So I'm the president of my club in my school. I know I said boss, but please hear me out. So in my club, we have an adviser from outside the school. She is like our "boss". So I believe that she is emotionally abusive towards me. She always puts me down when i make mistakes and does it in front of my friends and officers. Whenever I try to suggest anything that isn't what she is thinking, she quickly disregards it and calls it "stupid." Whenever she does see that her remarks and attitude upsets me, she brushes me off saying that I get upset easily. There are many examples, but all in all, she makes me feel worthless.
