Question: Teenage daughter, no respect, doesn t live w me. How to improve relationship? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 01:46 PM PST She lives 800 mi away. We "talk" on the phone weekly. She won't tell me anything about her anymore. I try to see her monthly but I really cannot afford to keep it up. Hi. We didn't argue or anything. I think her mother has beyond poisoned her mind and actually brainwashed her. |
Opinioni? Grazie a chi mi aiuterà' a capire (con gentilezza e senza volgarita' :-) Buona serata! |

Question: 'I'm not ready for a relationship', and other BS guys say.? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 12:04 PM PST OK. A guy I fell in love with over the last 8 months told me he wasn't ready to be in a relationship. We started hooking up after his ex gf caught him flirting with me online. After they broke up he started coming over and calling ect. Then he would disappear, dating other girls, then come back to me about every two months. This has been going on like I said for 8 months. Finally this last time he came back, I told him I wanted more than hanging out, having sex, that i wanted to go out on a date, and make it something more than what we were having. He agreed, but the night before our date he cancelled and said he really wasn't interested and ready for a relationship right now. OK guys/men out there why would YOU say this to a girl you've been hooking up with for months? Need male opinions, but girls welcomed to comment as well. |

Question: How do I get teachers to write me a good recommendation letter? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 11:49 AM PST I am an introvert, and I find it very difficult to participate frequently in class, and establish bonds with teachers because I am so shy/socially awkward I try very hard in school, but my grades are sub par - I don't think I stand out to any of my teachers in any way What should I do so that my teachers can have a good impression of me ? Please be specific .. I am currently a Junior - so I guess I still have some (although not a lot) of time to establish a relationship with my teachers |

Question: Has this changed the way my girlfriend and her family feel about me? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 11:15 AM PST I was at a family gathering last night with my girlfriend and her family and we each had to take it in turns to read a page of text to the rest of the table. I started reading mine - began okay then towards the middle my heart started pounding and my voice trembling slightly - needless to say it was really embarrassing and completely out of the blue - particularly as i was with family! Nothing was said but i got the feeling people picked up on it. For the rest of the night I was in utter shock and couldn't stop rehashing the situation in my head - didn't sleep last night at all, thinking that i embarrassed my girlfriend or her and her family think less of me now. I'm normally a very confident speaker, my job has me presenting a lot to big clients and halls full of people - i have never had a problem - but why last night? How can I rationalise the situation in my head - I just want to hide from her and her family forever! |

Question: I am in love with a 20 year old but I am 14....? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 08:04 AM PST OKAY PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE THIS WHOLE BIT AND ANSWER IT AS IF IT WAS A NORMAL PERSON. I am going to a soundcheck of my fave band! The band member I love ( and I do mean love. not some fan girl love. He has made me smile when I am depressed and helped me keep from doing bad things) has recently said that he would date someone around my age (!!!). Is it ok if he were to date me. Apart from the hate from fans. ( I SWEAR I AM NOT SOME WEIRD FAN GIRL AND HE IS TURNING 20 THIS YEAR AND I AM TURNING 14 THIS YEAR!!) Help??? |
Question: Dreams about my ex almost every week. UGH? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 07:18 AM PST My ex dumped me nearly 8 months ago. I've been dreaming constantly that his family is trying to help us work things out -- then that he moves back in with me saying we have to get things back to the way they were... I've been dating other men, spending time with family and friends and I've taken up running and exercising. I know deep down I'm still struggling to get over him, but the dreams are meaningless and wishful thinking. Just when I think I'm doing my own thing and getting stronger, I have these dreams and they make me wake up sad. How long is it gonna take for me to really move on and not even think of him sub/unconsciously?? |
Posted: 24 Jan 2016 06:54 AM PST My gf is abused by her dad. Her dad and mom are split up not because of that. He was good when. They were together. But the mom is remarried. And that s when he abuses her and starves her.... Etc. so like what are some options that I can give her or help her out. So she wouldn t have to go back there ever. Help me please. |
Question: My younger sister is acting weird, why? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 05:46 AM PST So recently my younger sister who is fourteen is acting weird. Whenever a boy walks past she always acts ' cool' and says he's cute. I'm not kidding every single boy . Question: Is this coincidence or is there any chance that he's still interested? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 03:42 AM PST Me and my ex broke up a year ago on a good term and we're currently on no contact. I shared a photo captioned "My prince is not coming with a white horse. He's obviously riding a turtle somewhere really confused." on my fb timeline. I deleted him from my friend lists after we broke up but my account is public. Then weeks later he posted a photo of himself on a turtle statue lol :'D Don't judge me. |

Question: I feel really bad even though I didn't cause the problem.? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 11:01 PM PST My parents got divorced. My dad never told me he had a gf or that she was pregnant. I got so mad bc he lied to me, for no reason. I would've been happy for him since he moved on and that he's found someone he's happy with. I didn't know until some random person recognized my sister from Facebook and said "oh I heard ur dad is having a baby!". my sisters and I were left without being told. The baby was born and he didn't tell me, I would ask him do u need to tell me something?" And he say no. Finally when I got him to tell me he acted like he didn't lie. I asked him if he had a girlfriend and he said no. That's a lie. Along with the part about how she's pregnant and he just forgot to tell me every time he saw me. He blamed not telling me on my mom, he said she never let him visit me, but she did.i got so angry bc he had no reason to lie to me and then he denied lying and blamed it on everyone else. He calls me but I don't call back and out of nowhere recently I've been feeling so guilty bc I didn't call him back, I just start crying . I just woke up at night in panic, realized he hasn't called me in over a week and the last message he left me seemed like he gave up. I feel so bad, I keep crying but I'm still mad at him. Now idk how to talk to him since I've ignored him for 2 months. What if now it's too late and he doesn't care anymore. Ik things will never go back to the way it was but I feel bad just shutting him out.idk what to do about it.. Please give advice. |
Question: Am I bad person for lying? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 10:52 PM PST Some people are just so nosy, and want to know every little detail about your life (so they can secretly judge you). One day I was just sick of having to answer uncomfortable questions, so I refrained from telling the truth. It wasn't really a lie... but it wasn't the whole truth either. And then the lie started growing, like a big snowball. It's exhausting keeping up with this thing, so I decided I'm going to come clean. But it feels like I'm about to hurl a snowball-turned-into-an-avalanche at people. Why do I feel so guilty? It's not like it was their business to know the truth always, the truth doesn't even concern them!! So me lying to these people isn't that bad right? |
Question: Should I contact a guy I met at my work? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 10:48 PM PST I work at a retail store. This guy came in during the last hour before closing time and he really seemed to like me. We conversed for a while and he told me he went to a university and went to medical school in another country for a while. Then, he said he works with kids with disabilities now. He asked me questions about myself, my age, and how long I worked at my store. At the end, I gave him his receipt and he stayed at the counter for a long time looking down looking through his wallet. After about a minute, he gave me his card (his business card with his name and email). He said if I ever wanted to sign up or have friends who want to sign up for a job there to let him know. I saw him a second time and he still tried talking to me but I was busy (during the holidays). He was on the phone for a long time while in the store and after I gave him his gifts, he stayed really near the counter for about 3 minutes and was talking to someone on his phone about training someone for the new job (I guess at his work). He then smiled and whispered bye to me while he was on the phone. Should I contact him? Is it bad to refer him to people I know about this job he is offering? |
Question: Boyfriend's brother punched him in the face? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 10:06 PM PST So my boyfriend Luke and I have been dating for 7 months and I've met his brother before and he seemed okay. Today the pair got in a fight because his brother came home to find us having sex. His brother pushed me and told me to leave and Luke lunged at him, resulting in a fist fight. Is this a normal brother thing? |
Question: Mom's boyfriend is inappropriate.? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 09:49 PM PST Today my mom and I were looking for a house design website she wanted to show me, and i was on her bfs tablet looking through the history. When going through the history, there was a lot of inappropriate things searched. He had searched porn on the ligns of incest, local women f**k buddies, and the creepiest thing out of all of that was he google searched my full name with the word sex following it. He is currently at a detox center for veterans, because of an incident with the cleaning lady while he was drunk. My mom said shes going to call on Monday and talk to his therapist but im still worried theyll let him out within a week. What do I do? I'm totally creeped out. Please dont be rude |

Question: Do you like to argue? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 09:21 PM PST For me, only if I'm strongly passionate on a subject or topic; other than that, I usually just state my point and give up. I find arguing pointless and a waste of time. Part of the reason is because I always lose, haha. If you do like to argue, why? |

Question: The reality of a long distance relationship? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 05:21 PM PST I started talking to this guy on Instagram and we have a lot in common and motivate each other. Sadly, he lives 3000 miles away on the other side of the country and we don't really get to talk since it's 3 hours earlier by him and we haven't even spoken on the phone -- when he's awake, I'm asleep and vice versa due to his job and personal training. I think he's really cool and feel like if he lived closer, it would be perfect. What are the chances it could become something? We both have full time jobs and our own places and it's costly to visit each other all the time. Let something like this go or see what path it could take if one of us moves??? |

Question: I live by stupid people help!? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 04:02 PM PST I live in a house in a subdivision, The class of people that lives in the neighborhood are redneck ghetto, These people range from being okay with you up until you do something that aggravates them to totally hostile, These people are stupid and will beat up your grandma, that's how stupid these people are A lot of houses in here are abandoned and full of graffiti and borded up, My sister hangs with a lot of neighborhood locals and they are people that if you look in the eye will go psycho and fight you and likely get their whole family onto you, my sister ironically is just like them, Can't seem to find anyone in my neighborhood or even in this district with a little bit of common sense, Money restrains us to move What should I do? |

I dont want to have to adjust to a new everything, we would be moving to Florida from Arkansas and its gonna be completely different, ontop of all this me and my boyfriend are worried that a long distance relationship will ruin us, so would I legally be able to move out when I turn 17? |
Question: Do I raise my child under religion? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 02:46 PM PST my better half & I are expecting our 1st child. The thing is while we both grew up under Christian households we don't necessarily pertain to many of those ideals. We want our baby to be accepting of everybody. We have gay friends, Jewish friends, one of our relatives is transgender. We came up in a different time. The church has a lot of great music so I want the child to have that. But we want our baby to be well cultured, our family is a melting pot. The child will have black uncles, Asian cousins, Hispanic uncles, white grand parents etc. we don't even know it's sex yet & we'll probably find out during its birth but as its father I understand the child may end up being transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual etc. I fine with it but I don't want the child to feel enslaved or boxed in. I also don't want it to be a bully. I'm engaged to its mother, that's not very Christian. Growing up my parents were Catholic but my grandma would take me to the Kingdom Hall as a jehovas witness & I would also go to Muslim mosques & buhdist temples, I was even apart of the occult & free masons.. I guess it's a dilemma I've got but I want the baby to have something, I believe in a god I worship Jesus Christ I'm a Christian but I call God Allah time to time. Idk what to do |
