Posted: 24 Jan 2016 09:38 PM PST I dislike my father's wife. She's rude, disrespectful, and hateful. I wouldn't invite her to my wedding, but that would upset my dad. Any way she's decided that she's going to help us with our wedding planning, and we've already told her that we don't want or need her help. I want my father to keep his wife in her place, and to stop meddling where she's not wanted. We are paying for our own wedding. Balaam, she's called my older brother's children racial slurs like go ok, chunk, and zipper head. My brother's wife is Korean. I don't care that my dad remarried, but his wife is down right mean. As I said I wouldn't invite her, but it would hurt my dad. |

Question: Wedding reception classy songs? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 09:38 AM PST I would love to hear suggestions for current, modern classy songs that would keep people dancing at my upcoming wedding reception. My fiancé has a very conservative family so I plan to play a lot of oldies, but I would love to get some ideas of current songs that would keep my friends and family on th dance floor as well! Thank you in advance for all of your help! |
Question: How tacky to have wedding then reception next day and not inviting everyone to wedding? Posted: 24 Jan 2016 01:46 AM PST So ever since I was little I wanted to get married in the little brown church. It's where my grandparents got married and just means a lot. But it is atleast 2 hours away from home and there is no big reception places within atleast an hour. I was thinking wedding at the church with close family then the following day reception in our big backyard fancy but relaxed. How does that even work for two different days? Do guests have issues only being invited to a party and you dress up for walking down the isle is it ok to just dress up the same the next day? I don't want to do far and expect my guests to drive 2+ hours right after... Any help would be great!! |
Question: How did you meet the love of your life? Posted: 23 Jan 2016 07:12 PM PST My fiancé and I met back in 2012 at a banquet that a mutual friend invited me to and my fiancé happened to be there with a few of his work friends. We exchanged phone numbers and went out on a couple of dates, but realized that we wanted to take things slow so we could get to know one another better and had a very strong friendship through 2013 into the early part of 2014. We just really loved spending time with one another as much as we could spend with each other. When he told me that he was in love with me, we happened to be in the same city (NYC) and we were out on a horse drawn carriage and he said, I have something to tell you and I don t want you to freak out over it, but I ve been in love with you for awhile now and its been quite serious. I never knew for a while on how much he had actually cared about me until he told me in the horse drawn carriage ride in NYC. He had said all the right things that any women would want to hear and he just made me fall in love with him ever hard. We like the same things and do a lot together, when we re around one another. We love to go snowmobiling and snowboarding in the winter to ATV/hiking/camping in the summer. He s everything I could ask for in a man from his down-to-earth personality to the man who I ve learned to love and care about. I would be completely lost without him. We met on October 18th 2012 and October 18th 2015, he asked me to marry him. Obviously I said Yes after almost 2 years of dating. Wedding to be announced. I thought he was the most gorgeous guy in the room with his navy blue tux and white dress shirt and we just hit it off from there. We're definitely soulmates and I'm very blessed to have found mine at the age that I did. (I was 22 and he was 23). We're 26 and 27 years old now. |
