Question: Moving into a flat with my boyfriend of 4 years a good or bad idea at the age of 19? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 01:22 PM PST Me and my boyfriend are like soul mates, we are perhaps a little too comfortable around eachother, never get bored of each other, he s my best friend and we have loads of other friends too and just generally enjoy all aspects of life. He works as an apprentice and is hopefully getting a full time job next year and I will be taking a gap yeah this year and hopefully getting a part time job. This should help us save up for a flat and then we want to move in together. The plan is for me to commute to university(part time for 4 and a half years) and hold up a part time job and he will commute to work also (Derby and Huddersfield or Salford). We both really want to do it but social expectations of 19 year olds are a little different I.e. Going to university living in halls, getting pissed etc. But that doesn t really interest me, I d rather go to the pub with friends or just round our local town, and my boyfriend luckily feels the same. if you could advise me and hopefully reassure me that in this generation this will be Fun and will work if it s what we both want that would be fab, if you think opposite, please feel free to share. Thank you xxx
Question: How to survive script super religious christian parents? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 01:21 PM PST First off my parents base their image on me. I'm their perfect little holy girl. I'm 14 and I'm not allowed to wear pants ir shorts of any kind. I have to wear skirts just below the knee at the shortest. Im not allowed to the right size shirts, they have to be baggy. I'm not allowed to have a properly fitting bra. I asked to be fitted when my mom was out of the fitting room and I'm a 34 DDD (which isn't so big, they aren't massive.) I'm forced to wear a 38 c. It hurts to wear, the band rides all the up my back and gives me no support. Apparently only whore and slut have those sizes in bras, according to my mom, verbatim. I'm also only allowed to wear white granny panties. I'm n9t allowed to cut my hair , it's below my butt and a pain in the neck. . My mom asks my friends what their religion is and if their not christian their devil worshippers... my friend takes a prescription every day for her thyroid and my mom forced her to walk home and said she did drugs and was a bad influence, even after my friend explained. I'm not allowed to go any wear after school or be alone with friends or people my age, even if they're girls. I hate that I'm forced to kneel several times a day to pray. My 0arents made me do this in the school entrance, on my knees. I'm forced to read the bible for 3 hours everyday, right next to them. I got whipped with a belt 7 tiems for eating an apple. Because it's supposedly the forbidden fruit.
Question: Why won't my mom let me have bangs? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:51 PM PST I'm 14 and I have loooong hair. It goes below my butt. I'm not allowed to cut it. I asked for bangs earlier today and she said absolutely not and that she hates how sensual they are because they cover your eyes. That it will make men stumble and lust after me. I wanted something a little different. She goes on this long spiel abiut how Jesus wouldn't want that and I was being selfish for not being loving. Loving as in not bringing attention to myself from men.... it's not my fault they csnt control themselves and I'm sure having bangs won't have that effect. Why is she being so unfair? She a very conservative christian by the way.

Question: Do I stay or do I go? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:44 PM PST Long, long story- short version. Married 15 years, have a 15 year old with husband. 8 years ago, he cheated, we separated, he eventually came home. he was physically abusive years ago in the emotional wake of his infidelity. I cannot stop thinking that he is dirty bc of all this and have no sexual desire toward him. i actually cry during the little sex we have. we have talked divorce. he has spent several days telling me to get out, but then suddenly apologized and said he was offering himself to me on a platter and wanted to make it work, that we owed it to our child. any advice?
Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:37 PM PST as for me, Yes i would, if the person is worth it then why not. what's your opinion?
Question: Someone advise me on my current situation? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:37 PM PST During my senior year of high school my anorexia really took off and consumed my mind. I stopped starving myself after I experienced an intense stomach pain, so bad I thought I was gonna die. I tried to get better by myself, but it developed into a binge eating thing, and I've gained some weight (still not overweight, though). This depressed me even more than I already was, and I started experiencing intense suicidal thoughts which led me to drop out of college. I finally shared my feelings with my mom, who told me she experienced something similar growing up but overcame it via the church. So no help for me. Currently, trying to figure out my eating habits is consuming most of all my time, and I doubt I'll survive 2016. I have a lot of self destructive thoughts and still feel hungry all the time for no reason.
Question: Thinking of running away? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:28 PM PST This is the problem I'am 17 and turn 18 in 1and1/2 months, my plan was to finish school 4months away get a job after high school so I can focus on only school probably one around the mall in my town like 30minutes away and riding a bike so I don't have to pay for gas, insurance and so on, also I wouldn't have to take a driving class or worry about getting a license sounds good right? Well my dad got mad and said no, he said I have to get a job by March(while I'am still in school) and I have to take the driving class, get a license, and get a vehicle he says I cant ride my bike around. IDK why my way sounds so much better in terms of money, time, stress, safety, environment he says its time to join the real world and people don't ride bikes, people need cars and wants don't matter. So I really don't want a vehicle(never had always wanted to just ride my bike) it saves money, good for you, good for the environment and just a lot simpler, and I don't want a job until I finish High School one thing at a time, so I'am thinking of running away. Technicality I'll be 18 next month so he won't be able to tell me what to do but I'll still be living with him and he doesn't take kindly to being told "no" so I really don't know where I can go.
Question: Is it wrong for a 18 years old girl to lose her virginity to a 70++ years old guy? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:25 PM PST It is wrong if a girl likes a 70 years old guy and lost her virginity to the guy and that guy is not married and have no kids? Would you view such girl as a slut if the girl really likes the guy and maybe and just maybe if that girl is compatible with him, she might marry him. So if I am that 18 years old girl that lost the virginity to the 70++ years old guy am I a slut even if I really love him and want to have kids with him knowing he might just live only a short while more? Not all 18 years old date a 70 years old guy because of money, there has been cases where a girl marry a guy 50++ years old age difference due to true love, by the way I am not a gold digger. Also at least if a 18 years old girl gets pregnant by a 70 years old guy, at least I will able let him pass off his genetics code. Some young girls can be attracted to older guys because when they are younger , they are cute and therefore her kids will be cute too. Is it normal for a girl's vagina to be painful after 12 hours of losing her virginity? I like the fact to see a 70 years old man turned on by a young girl and he himself knows he is lucky to get a 18 years old virgin girl to have sex with him and that he will appreciate it. one more question, will a marriage between a 18 years old girl and a 70++ years old guy be viable meaning can the relationship work out? Anonymous: There is no grandpa involved in this story :-)

Question: What to do about this guy? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 12:02 PM PST I know I'm a stupid fool, and you have right to criticize me. Few days ago I play my first online game at PS4.I learn it quickly, I met a guy, became one of my first and only online friend. He ask about my age (I'm 16) I lie, says I'm 17-I get kinda shy around new people, like online,he told me he was 21. At the middle I realize,he flirts with me! I have a boyfriend irl! He kept to compliment, charm and hit on me. I was so weird and quiet, didn't know what to do or how to reject, so I mildy did the same. The next three days,me and my boyfriend was going to hangout, it didn't go that well. I felt guilty all the time, and at the nights I cry myself to sleep cause of what I did. My boyfriend knows nothing about this, when he told how much he loves me, I feel like an *** (Cause I'm such a jerk) When I came home, I've got a lot messages from the guy-Like "Miss u" He has the past days kept inviting to chat, and it's getting worse! He told me he love me,I'm the reason he live,He wants to be with me forever, and even wants to sent gifts to my country for me! He flirts and keeps state his love to me, and I've only known him for three days! I don't know how to cut it off or stop this. I keep doing the same (not deeply as him) But just saying: "You're cute and amazing too" "You are sweet" "I'm lucky to know such a nice person" Today he officially stated he wants to start a relationship with me, I made an excuse I had to go. He keeps writing "I love you" "Be mine" and gave his phone number
Question: How to deal with a 24 year old bully girl that makes nasty faces at work? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 11:35 AM PST Hello. I work at a restaurant as a hostess. There is this waitress there that has a chip on her shoulder, and I don't know why/. She's somewhat of a bully, acts really ghetto and nasty and the funniest part is, she actually will make faces at people. She's 24 years old, and she will roll her eyes at you or make a really mean face (but more ridiculous than mean; I can't even begin to describe it), and she does this towards females hosts only. She never acts like this towards guys. She also argues all the time with the hosts about where we seat people. I've gotten to the point where I just don't look at her or acknowledge her in any way. Any advice with how to handle this? I've never had to deal with this situation in a working environment, or even outside of grade school. I've been working there about 3 months, but she has been there for 3 years or so.
Posted: 11 Jan 2016 11:31 AM PST My Boyfriend and i just moved into my parents house 5 month ago with our 6 yr old daughter. We both have jobs, pay rent, buy our own groceries, and im in the middle of finishing my last year in college, we cant afford our own place. Everything was going smooth for the most part, but lately my mom been nagging at me. When I ask my daughter to tidy up her room by putting away her toys and pick up she scolds me for not helping her, yet im the one who dusts the furniture and makes the bed. When i get my daughter to take a bath and on the day i do step out of the bathroom while I go grab something or finish up something she of she goes off on me for leaving her and how i should be the one to bathe her and I do. i even sit on the toilet seat until shes done help her dry off and she dresses herself. When shes watching Tv my mom expects me to sit on the couch to watch her watch Tv. I cant even be on my cellphone without making a comment about how im neglecting my child. If Im in the middle of a conversation and i ask my daughter to wait patiently till im done, I have my mom yelling at me to pay attention to her. She always refers to her as a baby. She nag on how my boyfriend doesn't help me enough with my daughter when that far from the truth. He pick her up from school on a daily bases, helps her with her homework while im at school, plays and does activities with her and even takes her to her ballet classes. All she "see" is him napping (works late shifts) and playing video games.

Question: My bf is afraid I'll get fat again. What do I do? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 10:38 AM PST I was all kinds of huge back in middle and some high school until I decided to lose the weight and I got my excess skin removed. I met my bf in college and he's seen the scars but never asked what they were from so I really never saw the need to bring up my past weight. He found one of my year books and was looking at old pictures of me in it. He was really shocked by my weight. I was joking around and asked if he wouldn't have dated me at that weight and he practically said hell no. I laughed it off since he is a very blunt person. The thing is ever since then I have to hear him heckle me with "should you be eating that?" and "is that part of your diet?" Honestly the way I ever got myself to lose weight was by not being on a diet and just eating what I wanted but portioned right. I reached my goal after about a year and a half and have only ever lost more weight as opposed to gaining anything back. I understand that he is worried I will gain weight back but I am getting tired of him trying to put me on a diet. I have kept my weight in check for five years and I feel like I know what I'm doing. I try explaining that to him but its like in one ear out the other.

Question: Why are some people so private? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 10:31 AM PST My cousin with very private with certain things. He doesn't discuss his income, love life, when something is bothering him or when books trips alone. He had booked a flight to Paris back in August and didn't tell the whole family about it until Xmas. He had confided in me that he was going to Atlanta in the next month and told me he didn't mention it to anyone yet. While on the phone with our grandma, I accidentally let it slip that he was going to Atlanta. Our grandma is the kind of person to spread the news to the rest of the family whenever she hears any updates about the family. When I told my cousin I let it slip. I could tell he was visibly upset/annoyed but brushed it off and said it was ok. Now I haven't spoken to him in the last week because he hasn't been taking my calls. Why are people so weird/private. Like what's the big deal? He's a grown 25 year old man
Posted: 11 Jan 2016 10:29 AM PST I am 68 years old, have lived with my bi-polar daughter and husband six months. I pay them one half of my SS check per month to live in their basement. My daughter has become verbally abusive to me as is typical with her treated condition. She has asked me to move, but I make $100.00 over the government limit for social assistance (I receive 900.00 per month from SS) and cannot afford to move. I have no other family members to help with expenses. I just can't take the verbal abuse any longer. I feel like I am a victim of elder abuse and don't know what I can do about my situation. I certainly don't want to make the matter worse for my daughter and wait for the retribution from. Help, any suggestions?
Posted: 11 Jan 2016 10:23 AM PST My boyfriend just recently joined the Marine Corps Reserves and is currently at boot camp for the next three months. I am graduating in May and recently decided to go into the Air Force as an officer. My boyfriend and I have talked about marriage in our future. Could we make this work? Give me your thoughts, opinions, past experience. I have an accounting and criminal justice degree so I don't technically have to go into the air force and can find a regular civilian job.
Question: Scared of large towns? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 10:12 AM PST I was born and raised in a rural country town of 1,114 (we joke that our town is smaller than a small town in a country song or that we couldn't afford to be a one horse town or even a one donkey town. We had to rent the donkey) I was wondering if my fear of large towns and large crowds are the same? I'm told that it's natural to be afraid of a larger town since I'm so used to such a small town that it would make the larger towns look scary. Is it true?

Question: Why did they turn on me? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 09:24 AM PST Hi, I'm a little embarrassed to be asking this, but it has bugged me all night. I went to a party last night, invited by my wife, which was full of her friends or friends of her friends. I seemed to be getting along with everyone okay with people wanting to chat to me, but at the end as I was leaving a girl (with a guy friend) came up to me and said "you wife is so much cooler than you!" "okay...thanks" i replied. She then said how I was not hip and "you know..." which then her guy friend chimed in and said "it true, man. It's not a insult, you're just... not cool, and she's so awesome!" And I went home feeling rubbish about myself. Why would they say this? i wasn't rude to anyone and why say it even if I am boring? lol :D
Posted: 11 Jan 2016 08:48 AM PST She asks me for money for child care preaching it is required by law. Right now nothing is established in the courts. I am not obligated legally. I have been paying for my oldest son's extended daycare via his school. However, I do not feel I should have to pay or partially pay for his Dad to watch him because of known drug issues. I don't feel they are safe. Am I required to contribute to her chose of sitter despite that fact I don't agree?

Posted: 11 Jan 2016 06:28 AM PST im 21 years old and Ive been workinf at a fast food restaurant for almost 2 years now and ive grown to hate it to the point that I sometimes wanna cry at work. I wanted to quit after the first two months because I saw how the people are there, they are petty and bitter people, the women who have been working there have picked and bullied me since day one ,they are bipolar and two faced. all the men are perverted theyre always making sex jokes, they once asked me if I wanted to have a threesome with them , my female boss thinks I just dont have a sense of humour. the only reason I stayed was because she said she didnt wanna see me go ,but now she gives me less hours then all the other employees and ive been working there the longest and I already talked to her about it but nothing changes she gave me a warning for being late and I was only late for twenty minutes and the other girls have been late for more than an hour quite a few times and she didnt say anything to them. she only focuses on me and any mistakes I make but not the other girls. im so stressed out ive been crying everyday after work , I dont know what to do , I hate this job but I have bills to pay and my pets and help my mom with rent but I cant work there anymore, what should I do? have you been in this situation and what did you do??? |

Posted: 11 Jan 2016 02:44 AM PST So awhile ago my uncle came to stay with my mom, my dad, and I. These feelings started about 3 or 4 months ago a month or 2 after he started staying with us. So here is a little back story when i first met him I was about 8 or 9 and he was only 16 or 17. And now he is 21 and he is staying with us for a little bit. And recently i have been having some really depressed sad moments and he has helped me with all of that because he was kind of the same was when he was my age i guess. And a little while ago i started to have a crush on him because like we wrestle and joke around and stuff a lot and i just get like weird feelings about him when we do that type of stuff. And like the other day i was really pissed which later turned into crying but when i was pissed he noticed and was asking if i was okay and i said no but i would be fine and i just don't understand why i push everybody away, and later when i had started crying he texted me and asked if i was okay and just said i would be fine and it was a stupid reason to why i was crying and i just pushed him away again. About two days later when i was just talking to him via text and i was just venting and talking to him i explained why i was crying and he was really comforting about it and really supporting about what i was saying. And i feel like i have developed some sort of crush on him over the past few weeks and i feel so disgusting and wrong about it, i would also like to know if anybody knows how i could tell him. I also have reached out to a friend about this and she said it was probably because i am more comfortable around him and that its because i can talk to him more openly and at first i believed it but then i started to have feelings for him again and i just don't know what to do because i don't want to make our relationship as niece uncle weird i just want him to understand me and i want him to still be there for me. And we have nothing sexual or even remotely sexual going on. thanks if you help
| Question: Would you have a baby from a man knowing he already have a baby on the way.? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 02:33 AM PST here's the thing, I have a friend who been on and off with the father of her child for ten years. | Question: Why are people never satisfied with life? Posted: 10 Jan 2016 09:17 PM PST I'm a 26-year-old woman and am at that point where I don't care what people think. But I have to be honest and say it still hurts sometimes. It's like no matter what I do people have something to complain about with MY life. I have my dream job, pay my own bills, bought my own car, I have a social life and a group of incredible friends and I am about to move out on my own in another week. I am single but still dating. Even through all of this they still complain about how my life isn't good enough or they try and find fault in it. So why are people like that? Why can't they mind their own business and stop comparing and finding flaws in my life? |
Question: How long is it going to take until I get it? Posted: 10 Jan 2016 08:53 PM PST So I feel super dumb because I'm trying to learn how to drive and I've drove with family members about 5 times within the year. However, I'm still horrible. My aunt is always saying things like "I learned with someone once and never needed anybody to teach me after that because I had it down." Like damn idk what to do because I need a car asap and I feel like they're just judging me because I haven't got it yet.
Posted: 10 Jan 2016 08:28 PM PST I'm not sure if this is going to help, but might as well try. I have been living with a relative and NEED to move out in two weeks or sooner. I'm completely miserable, however my finances are not great which means I can't support myself. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. Also, I don't have anyone to move in with.

Question: Cheap inmate calling? Posted: 10 Jan 2016 06:22 PM PST I already have a local number that my boyfriend calls me on from jail. Is there any services or apps that could make it cheaper for me? As of now I have to add minutes using GlobalTelLink and you have to add $25, $50, or $100... and so on. With the local number it's around $2 or $3 a call... I am looking for a way to pay a flat monthly rate so I don't have to keep adding more and more money...
Question: I don't know what to do with my 15 year old sister and her "teenage" years?!? Posted: 10 Jan 2016 06:07 PM PST I caught my 15 year old sister in quite the mess twice (I am 23). My parents have no idea neither does my older sister. The first time was her friend and her smoking in her room and she confessed to everything including having being drunk once. I know her as my innocent little sister. I talked to her about this and told her I would not tell our parents if she told me everything and if she asked me for advice. We talked for 5 hours and I felt like we had an understanding. The second time was a month after that where I saw a hickey on her and she went to a concert when she was supposed to be at a sleepover (mom dropped her off at the sleep over but the parents of the other girl apparently had no idea about the "concert" these girls sneaked out to). Again, I was the only one that caught her and it broke my heart and I coudln't talk to her properly for a week and I read her dairy that week (yes, its wrong but she is 15 and in quite a phase and as an older sister, it is my job so please spare me the "don't invade her privacy" advice). Today as I was doing work, I had to grab my headphones from her drawer and her phone was going crazy with messages and I saw several texts on her screen, including one friend praising her for making out with two boys and getting somehow sexual (not S**) with another. PLUS I saw she had 4 messages from tinder! TINDER?!? She is 15!! I couldn't believe it and I am still not sure how I am going to handle it. I am about to lose my mind! Advice please.

Posted: 10 Jan 2016 05:10 PM PST My husband and I have never done anything in front of him and never would..We simply just do what normal married couple does.We never meant for him to hear or see us and we feel horrible. However he has started acting out sexually towards siblings. He said he learned it from us but yet he has an older half brother that has taught him horrible things bad words with strong sexual content also walked into his brothers room while he was watching an explicit video. Our 8 year old also said he's seen stuff on TV and movies that he's picked up on. We have talked with him and explained that's what married couples do sometimes we are sorry that you may have seen or heard something we never meant for u too. But we dent believe that we are the main source here for an 8 year old to act out so inappropriately the way he has been. We have him set up with therapy and that's all so far trying to figure out what else we can do to help him get the proper help he needs. We are worried we are going to be in trouble over something we never intentionally meant to happen. That we made sure was done in privacy.. if cps and or law enforcement gets involved in our situation not sure what will happen when we are good parents and nothing was done intentionally!!
Question: I need help with my boyfriend!!? Posted: 10 Jan 2016 05:05 PM PST so we've been dating for over a year and we've kissed a few times. maybe three or four pecks. pecks! thats it. its very frustrating because i want more but when we hang out, we pretty much avoid physical contact. we sit on opposite sides of his bed on chairs and talk across the bed. then when we kiss, he waits until the last minute when I'm supposed to get picked up within the next five minutes. I just turned 17 and he is 16 for a few more months. were both nervous and i get that but don't you think its time? idk its frustrating and i want to know other peoples opinions.

I consulted my guidance counselor about this and she gave me a level change request form (I have to get my teachers signature) I have really horrible social anxiety and I just have no idea how to ask her and im afraid me requesting this would upset her. |
