Question: Dress suggestions for weddings? Posted: 12 Jan 2016 06:29 PM PST I'm attending a traditional Indian wedding and I'm not sure what dress would be appropriate to wear. I don't want to offend anyone, but I still want to look nice at the same time.

Question: I dont like one of my boyfriend's kids? Posted: 12 Jan 2016 05:24 PM PST We are planning on getting married, ai love him and I 100 percent want to be with him. But when they misbehave, it's really difficult to like them. The 7 year old boy is honestly my favorite. And i know you shouldnt have favorites but they arent my kids. The 5 year old is awful and throws temper tantrums all the time. And I just can't stand them. I mean screaming at the top of her lungs. And i disagree with how he handles it or their grandma does. Obviously, what they are doing doesnt work because she has been getting worse. It's frustrating that he wants me to fill in for their mom who took off like 3 years ago. I don't think I can if something doesn't change in the parenting. Maybe i will grow to love her, but it makes it really hard when she is always having massive temper tantrums. Natural parents don't get how hard it is when it isn't your child.
Question: Can you have a wedding and get married without having a priest? Posted: 12 Jan 2016 03:47 PM PST So both myself and my husband do not believe in God. As a non religious person I was wondering if it is possible to have a big wedding and all without having a priest to marry us. Neither of us want to go to a court and get married by a judge or anything. We want a normal wedding just one that isn't in a church and doesn't have a priest. Can we still get married like everyone else, or do we have to go to a courthouse and get married?
Question: Dropping out of the wedding? Posted: 12 Jan 2016 02:31 PM PST I was asked to be a bridesmaid in a wedding and was told the only things I'd be responsible for would be my attire. I told her that I was on a budget and couldn't afford anything expensive. The first time we met at David's Bridal, I found a dress, she approved it and I put it on layaway. A couple weeks later, she told her bridal party that she was switching dresses, which resulted in me losing money. She sent us pictures of different dresses ( all of them costing over $100) so I thanked her for askingme to be a part of her special day, but told her I couldn't afford it. She said she'd help me pay for the dress so I accepted her offer and agreed to stay in the wedding. Once again we ended up going back to davids bridal. Before we went, I asked her if she was still going to help me with the cost. She said she would but then said I'd have to pay her back. We met at David's Bridal and she picked out a dress that was $119. A few days later she changed it again and said that we could choose our own dress as long as it was the right color. A few days after that, she changed it again to a dress that will have to be ordered within the next few weeks. We are also required to pay $25 each for a rehearsal dinner. All of this back and forth is getting on my nerves and I don't want to go into debt over this wedding. I hate to back out now, as her wedding is about one month away, but I just don't have the money or patience for all of this. Would it be wrong for me to back out now?

Question: Why does the guy I like act like this? Posted: 12 Jan 2016 12:19 AM PST I worked at a warehouse for a few days and there's this guy I like that talks to my mom a few times cuz she works there too and he's always smiling and is very friendly I caught him staring at me a little like twice one day when I was working but it's like a stare with no expression like thinking. I haven't talked to him but I'm with my mom when he talks to her and once I had to drop off something where he was and he didn't look at me he was just like u can leave that here it's fine but when I left my mom said he started having a big grin on his face and was smiling a lot..why
Question: What is your opinion of cake and punch weddings and receptions? Posted: 11 Jan 2016 11:44 PM PST We want to have a really, really cheap wedding and reception. We will supply all of the cake, punch, drinks, and very light snacks. Part of the reason why we want an inexpensive wedding is to not spend a lot of money on just one day out of our life. We plan to to have our wedding at 2 pm, and then serve cake and punch afterwards. What's your opinion on this?
