Question: So who do you believe? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 09:33 PM PST If a boy and a girl were physically fistfighting, who do you think won the fight based on the end results : Girl-the one on top. Gave the boy a small bump on his head. Boy-the one on the bottom. Gave the girl a small bloody mouth from her braces. So who do you think won the fight based on the end results and explain why??? |
Question: How should I go about booking one of my favorite artists at a local venue as a promoter.? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 08:13 PM PST I got the unique opportunity to be a promoter for one of my favorite artists (their name is PRXZM, go check them out if you like EDM) and they asked if I would be able to get them booked in my city (Boston). There are quite a few venues around here that could host them, however i am not sure how to go about getting this started. I know i need to talk to the venues but this is my first time doing this and i have no idea how this works, i dont want to go in to it knowing nothing. So my questions is, how do venues go about booking their artists? What questions am i most likely going to have to answer? Are most venues usually ok with covering traveling costs? How hard is it generally to get a venue to book an artist? How do artists get paid? Is it a percentage of ticket sales? |

Question: How can my Fiancee and I set up a wedding date when were both in the military? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 05:35 PM PST My Fiancee joined the Air Force first and I am leaving this summer because I wanted to get some college courses done before I joined. She starts Tech School and is going to be there for about 6 months. And I am planning to leave before she finishes Tech School, so I can complete Tech School by winter 2016/2017 depending on my job. I know it would have been easier for us to get married before she left, but a lot of things came and we couldn't set up a proper date. Would I need to inform my unit commander about what will go on with all that will be going on? And Would it be easier for us to do it through court at first and then have the church ceremony later? Thank you |

Question: Where can I have a wedding reception for 15 people in nyc? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 03:04 PM PST I'm having my wedding ceremony in central park, just wondering where would be a good place to go after. We will only have 15-20 guests so we need something small and not too expensive. Just a private sit down lunch with music, drinks and cake. Can anyone recommend a hotel that might have party rooms? Any Ideas Are Appreciated. |
Question: Is it bad to speak up as far as cost on a bachelorette party? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 12:48 PM PST I am in my best friends wedding this fall and right before thanksgiving, her maid of honor reached out to me to go over her plan. She wants to do a broadway show then dinner. I told her I was in, but now thinking about it, were talking a 300 dollar day. This isn't including wedding party responsibility and a gift. I'm also MOH for another friends wedding and wouldn't dare ask somebody to spend that much money. She hasn't mentioned it since. Should I be honest w her MOH and tell her I can't do the whole thing? I hate to disappoint my best friend tho, but also shouldn't spend outside my means you know? |

Question: Is it OK to display wedding photos of my guests at my wedding? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 10:42 AM PST I have empty shelves on either side of the cake, and would love to fill it with photos of my guests on their own wedding day. I believe most people will enjoy seeing the display, but don t want to offend divorced or single people. Is it OK to do this or in poor taste? edit: I would not display photos of people who are now divorced or separated. |

Question: Dad wants me to verbally invite his wife to my wedding? Posted: 18 Jan 2016 01:57 AM PST I sent out wedding invitations last week. My dad came to my house yesterday for dinner and asked me to make a big deal of telling his wife I want her at the wedding because she's planning to not attend because my siblings and the rest of the family don't like her and don't speak to her, etc. He said it would mean a great deal to both of them and that she would come if she knew I wanted her there. So some background. They married when I was 17. I like her enough, but she's a very emotional and needy woman. She made a scene at my high school graduation after my grandmother asked her to step out of a photo of my dad and me, after having a photo of the three of us taken just seconds before. Then she got upset when she saw my other grandmother give me a locket that was like one my mom had worn. She was in tears most of the day, begging for hugs and I love you's, etc. My dad refused to do anything but encourage the situation and then when my older brother chose to go with our sister than them, she got upset again. She also got upset/hurt when I had my oldest son, after realizing his first name was my moms middle name (Greyson) and was crying that nobody loved her or wanted her around. In a normal, everyday setting, I can get along with her. I don't see her very often, though, because she avoids most people and things because of hurt feelings. So I'm not very upset she doesn't plan on attending. Should I do it anyway? I should also add they aren't financially contributing to the wedding. Yes, she was included on the invitation. |
