Question: Is this emotional abuse? Posted: 26 Jan 2016 01:47 PM PST (Some of you might realise I'm the same person asking the similar earlier question) I was reading a website and it described different kinds of child abuse and a few things that i have experienced were listed: serious overprotectiveness, shoving/pushing/pulling, exposure to domestic violence, unusually severe punishment eg. Locking in bedroom, criticism, lack of intellectual stimulus eg. Missing many days of school, blaming. Is that really emotional abuse? My father called me b*tch, sl*t, tramp and cow a few times times because had a boyfriend at 15 (but I'm still a virgin) He took me out of school and I'm not going back for a month or more and I'm not allowed to speak to my (ex?) bf anymore at all, ever. I've witnessed domestic violence twice by him a few years ago, and he has shoved me a few times that I'd end up on the floor. He's a good dad and everything but does all of this build up to be abuse? And what do I do? Honestly, I don't want to live with him but I don't want to get him in trouble with the authorities. I want to be split up from him but I don't want my family to be split up either.. I would run away but that's not a smart move especially because I'm 15 and a girl.. Help? Thank you x |
Posted: 26 Jan 2016 01:09 PM PST My birthday just passed and I turned 18. I don't have my drivers license, but I do have my permit. Am I able to buy any sex toys with my permit or is it strictly just with an ID? Any response is gladly appreciated, thanks!! |
Posted: 26 Jan 2016 12:46 PM PST My husband works for a big company which is known to have workers "drinking the koolaid." One reason I fell for my husband in the first place was that he wasn't like that. He isn't like that constantly now, but there re days when he acts a little brainwashed and will be easy to go on the defense if anyone says anything remotely critical about the business (myself included). And that doesn't even mean saying means things. It makes me uncomfortable when someone is so devoted that they are prone to turning against a loved one. Its creepy. I support what he does. I definitely want him to be successful and happy, hence saying i support what he does. But moving up the corporate ladder shouldn't mean being judgmental about me and seeing me in a bad light compared to the company. When he drinks the koolaide it makes him more non constructively critical of me, compare me to others at his work, etc. It feels like I'm his enemy sometimes when I don't want to be. I don't think being successful should change a person, let alone in a negative way. |
Posted: 26 Jan 2016 12:46 PM PST My strict parents are very invested into my education. How do I get them to sit down and talk about the right age that I could start dating (that they agree with)? So, in the quandam years the subject has come up, but it wasn't very serious and facetious. My parents said that I had to wait until I was OUT OF college before I could start but, my dad was joking (I think) and my mom was determined to say that her decision was already made. So now I am 14 years old (freshman) and I want a serious answer from BOTH of them. How do I ask them? When is the right time? Am I to young for a relationship even if it is not momentous? |

Question: Recently told my boss I was going to quit, now he is in depression.? Posted: 26 Jan 2016 11:01 AM PST I ve been working at a restoration shop for about two years now and have grown really close to my boss in a friend sort of way. We do everything including go to the movies and have movie nights (when the wife isn t around). But I recently decided that I want to love back to Ohio where all my and my wife s family is and I gave him notice of this yesterday. I told him I m leaving late April, so almost 3 months advanced notice, and since then he has been sluggish, quiet, and doesn t really want to talk about anything. What can I do to help him? I feel the same way, but I have something to look forward to by leaving (family), but he doesn t have any family and only a few friends who only really call him friend because of his cars. I feel horrible leaving, but I feel just as horrible not being with family and in a way, keeping my wife away from hers. Any advice? The shop is in Houston, so it s not like I can work part time or anything. :/ thanks in advance. |

Question: Should I have sex with my daughters grandma? Posted: 26 Jan 2016 08:57 AM PST The grandma is the mom to the mother of my child. She's only 42 and I've had to see her quite often because she watches my daughter sometimes. I'm about to graduate from a major University in May, and the mother of my child hardly ever watches my daughter. The grandma has displayed interest and has said she is interested in having sex with me. We are planning on going out for drinks this weekend. I should also add, that while I realize typically this isn't something most people would advise, I'm very confident that the mother of my child has border line personality disorder and at the end of our relationship she started cheating with someone who used to be my best friend and someone who is actually her 2nd cousin. That whole situation really ate at me for a while, especially considering that former "friend" had severely betrayed me himself yrs before me and her even got together. So considering that, what do you think? If you were the mother of my child, how would you feel knowing I had sex with your mom? |
Question: HELP! He won t stop texting me!!!? Posted: 26 Jan 2016 07:46 AM PST Lets start with the fact that I m a 15 year old girl. So there is this man that is good friends with my family. I see him at family gatherings and parties and stuff. He has no wife or kids and we talked a few times because he was talking to my dad and I was next to him. So now, he added me on Facebook (keep in mind the man is in his early 30 s) well I accepted the friend request and he started texting me and I replied back and although he wasn t being inappropriate or anything, I didn t feel comfortable texting him. So Then I just stopped responding to his texts, the problem is that now he keeps texting me every single day saying "hi?" ,"how are you", "how you been" ,"how s it going? and he sends emojis and it s gotten so annoying. He doesn t get the hint that I don t want to speak to him.. Why does he keep texting me??? Idk what to do. |
Question: Ladies- why did she unfriend me? Posted: 26 Jan 2016 07:20 AM PST We dated for about 3 months. In the last week of the relationship, we went on a trip together. 3 days later, she wanted to sleep over my parent's house with me for the first time. Then the next day, I went to her parent's house (for the first time) for a Christmas party. I met 20 of her family members. Everything was going well. She then was making plans for New Years with me and her. We went out on New Years (even slept together). But the very next morning she ended it. Not giving me a real reason why. I have not texted her (but she texted me once or twice), I do not comment or like anything on her Facebook, I do not look at her snapchat stories (but she always looks at mine) and now she deleted me off Facebook after 2 weeks of the Break Up. She still has my cousins and friends on it. Did she delete me to move on? Should I also delete our pictures on my Facebook? She also deleted me on snapchat |

Posted: 26 Jan 2016 04:31 AM PST I'm 15 and I got a boyfriend and didn't tell him for two months, now he calls me *****, slut, cow, tramp etc (I'm a virgin!!!) and he shoved me loads of times and I ended up on the floor crying.. Question: Would you forgive this person? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 11:43 PM PST Would you forgive a young woman who formed a romantic relationship with a married man? The marriage was weak and he has since left. The two are still together, and becoming closer. From my understanding, she didn't go in seeking it - and doesn't feel proud about how it happened. But she did it. Would you forgive her? If you were the married woman? Her parents? Her friends? |

Question: How to tell a guy you don t feel the same way? (Long distance)? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 09:23 PM PST I ve had the same best friend for years. We love each other and have been through a lot of life s challenges. We know each other pretty dang well. A couple years ago she moved out of state. It was tough but we always make a point to see each other for special occasions. Almost 4 months ago she introduced me to her best guy friend. He seemed nice and funny and would make a great friend. My best friend swore up & down that we were made for each other. We started flirting. I thought he was my ticket to getting over my previous relationship. I recently realized this was wrong and I actually don t have romantic feelings for him. The distance is a problem in itself. To make things more complicated, I met a guy a couple weeks ago and had so much fun. It made me realize that I could be missing out on opportunities here & I need to fix this problem and not lead on my best friend s friend. The only trouble is, my best friend and all of her friends are going to be very upset with me for hurting him. He s a very very sensitive and sweet person with a tough life & I was his shed of hope. How do I break the news to him as easy as possible, keeping him as a friend and also not losing my lifelong bestie because of this situation? Thank you |
Question: My girlfriend niece is a nightmare.? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 09:15 PM PST My girlfriends niece is a nightmare. She tells people she hates them and laughs in their face. She coughed on and sneezed into my face on purpose without any provocation whatsoever, in fact I try very hard to be nice to her, I never yell at her or hit her or tell her what to do or make fun of her at all. Now I'm lying in bed with a bad cold. She also hits me and other people when she feels like it. She's even kicked me and other guys in the gals on purpose and laughed about it. Is this normal behavior for a bratty 6 year old girl or is there something wrong with her? My girlfriend loves her to death and the only thing that I've really hammered down on my girlfriend was kicking in the balls, I told her there is not a chances in the deepest reaches of hell that that's ever not a big deal. Is this girl a normal brat? Or something worse? |
Question: Travel help with my dad's friend..?? Please? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 09:11 PM PST Okay, so my dad has his close friend staying over our house and my dads close friend is planning to take a trip to Miami with me by ourselves. It feels very awkward when I'm around him because he's Brazilian and I don't speak much Portuguese. I feel it'll be very awkward once I go because he has family down there and I'm only 14. And he's waiting on my response to go so he can get plane tickets m, but I don't want to offend him by saying "No" since he is close to my dad. Does anyone have or Come up with ideas or excuses..I tell my dad and him that I'm thinking about it, but I don't want to come off as rude by declining.. |
Question: Would you get tired of hearing about other people's pregnancies? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 08:57 PM PST I've never had the desire to have children. I like children and I enjoy being an aunt but I do not want them full time. I'm pretty happy being the proud parent of a dog and having the financial and personal freedom to not be tied down. On that note does anyone else get tired of hearing about other peoples pregnancies/children? Does anyone else find it incredibly annoying when other peoples children behave badly ? |

Question: What does it mean when an guy thinks you hate him!!?? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 07:54 PM PST Ok there is an huge possibility that this guy at work likes me! He asked for my number which he haven't texted me yet he said he was busy but he really wants to. When I see him he gets very excited like bubbly to see me. He stares at me and give me like few glances at me. Today when I was helping my Co-worker which he is an bigger bag (I'm an cashier) I said hi&smiled made eye contact. Then he asked me if "I hated him and don't like him" I felt very sad that he said that so I asked why does he feel that way? He said he doesn't know he said I act like I don't like him. Right now I kinda do have some feelings for him tbh. Like he is ok looking but not too attractive like smexy&hot looking. I guess he is kinda cute. He talks to me a lot and smiles and looks at me a lot. And helps me a lot. When I always thank him. He always say "Well that's what an gentleman got to do" Like Aww he is too sweet. I would definitely will go out with an guy like that. He gives me a lot of attention which I barely get from guys and he seems to be more respectful too. Like few hours ago outside we ran into each other we both stopped by to convo he first said hello and let me know he works tomorrow and i told him im off tomorrow. apologize and feel guility of not texting me. What does that mean!?? He also said that he will try to text me soon but he has been busy while he was doing carting. Then I bought up of what he said ealiar today of how he made me feel when he had said about him thinking I hated him which isnt true. I love&care about everybody! (I believe in God&Jesus!) Anyway I told him not too be afraid to text me that I want him too and its OK |

Question: What can my friend do now? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 06:43 PM PST This is not about me but about a friend. Dick was a great guy that everyone liked to be friends with. He was sociable, sincere and forthright. He also came from a well to do family and they led very decent lives. His father was a CEO of a coporation and his mom was a university lecturer and all his siblings wrer also doing well. He was the youngest. After graduating from his uni, he went to work in a large corporation with a lot of powerful executives. His company also sent him regularly to meet other executives and directors of other companies to discuss business matters with them. Because of this, in his life, he tend to meet high associates very regularly. One day, he met an old university mate and they hit it off together. She told him she was working as business partner in a company with her friends. She seemed to be doing well. Before long, he fell head over heels for her and soon they got married. One day, staff of his company were invited to a coporation party or gathering and he and his director was selected to go there. It was a sort of high society gathering. He thus decided to attend it with his wife. When he there, everything had initially seemed normal. However, it was not long before he noticed everyone seemed to know his wife and was interested in her. Some people also seemed to talk about her. This was odd as he thought she was just an average person in the street. Later, he so happened to meet someone he knew. When the chance was right, he casually asked that person what was all the interest on his wife about. After feeling surprised for a while, his friend told him his wife was actually a high society hooker who would make tonnes after offering room services to her clients. She was not a hooker that plied the streets but one that offer services to executives and directors charging very high rates. In fact, a lot of those executives in the party were her clients and they knew her. My friend was naturally devastated. He also felt cheated. What could he do now? It was also becoming very embarrassing to meet the other executives now as they knew about his wife's dark past. From henceforth, every subsequent meeting he had with these executives have become a bane as he was staring at people who had slept with his wife. What can he do now? File for divorce? |
Question: My boyfriend just told me he cheated on me? 10 pts? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 06:41 PM PST I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years, I'm 19 and he's 20. I love him so much and he always seemed to love me but a few days ago he started crying and then he told me there is something he's wanted to tell me for a long time but he didn't want to lose me so he didn't. Then he told me that 3 years ago he had sex with a guy once. He's bisexual and I already knew that so I'm not shocked it was with a guy, I'm shocked because he cheated. He kept telling me he regretted it right after he did it and he hasn't done it again and it won't happen again. He begged me not to break up with him. I left and last night I started crying because I was thinking about him cheating on me because it is still cheating even though it was a guy. I mean his penis did go in someone else other than me. I don't know what to do. I would have never found out if he didn't tell me. The guy has talked to talk to to him but my boyfriend tells him to stay away. what should I do? It makes me feel awful to think he made love to someone else. |
Posted: 25 Jan 2016 05:51 PM PST I had no relationship with the ex-wife outside of her 6 year marriage to my brother and they had no kids. They divorced in 2009 and apparently she has died suddenly at 42 (alcohol related). So would it be uncomfortable for the family if I showed up? My brother is not going. I liked her but did not side with her in the divorce (she left my brother). What should I do? I feel sorry for her regarding her death as she was a sweet person. Her brother decided to email my brother though they don't keep in touch either. |

Question: I only work part-time, should I be shunned? Posted: 25 Jan 2016 01:37 PM PST I currently only work 40 hours every other week. My bills are perfectly fine as I drive a car that is 15 years old, I don't need to wear the most expensive clothes, and I am raising a child who has disabilities. However, people are nosy and many ask why I am only part time and what I do with myself all day long. Since I am young, divorced, and have a college degree, they think I should be working as hard as possible. A lot of people who are married have time to do laundry and things with their spouses. My child's homework takes hours and I am entirely on my own. I do not date. When I am not with her, I am at work. The cost of daycare for her after school alone would be the same cost of me going back to work full time. How do I deal with the judgement? |
