I don't like hanging around people, but I also don't like people to think I have no friends. What should I do? Where should I go to avoid any thoughts about how I choose to be?

I then told one of my friends about it, and he sent it to my ex friend. So today, my ex friend told me that his dad found out (and my ex friend thinks I made it) and called the school. I might get called down to the office for this, and my school system is very harsh. I have never gotten in trouble before. I'm 18 and I've been planning to move out with my bff since we're both going to attend a community college which is an hr away. We were going to rent an apartment room there In a PERF convenient location, too. we've both been saving from our paychecks for a couple years. We planned out home decor, budgeting, and everything. However she just got a BF and now she wants to move in with HIM instead, in that same exact apartment room...using her half of the money. She's also going to let one of her other girl friends move in with them, who hates me. My friend totally bailed on me and now I don't know what to do. Long story, but I really don't like my school or the people at my school. My brother used to go there and was popular so I had lots of friends, he moved schools to one about 15 minutes away and a bunch of people were unhappy because he was an important asset to the school. Good looking, good student, and good athlete. Then I quit sports, I was always overweight and insecure and lost lots of friends when he left. I'm different and not a "cool" person and I hate bigger schools too. I've lost weight and I'm prettier than before but nothing has changed. I just want a fresh start and the freedom to be myself. I'm starting to lose friends, plus this school is 30 minutes from my house. The one I want to go to is 10 minutes from my house, I have a few friends there because I went there in elementary school. I just don't know if they'll accept me there plus they don't offer the same classes I take so I don't want to screw up this last semester. This school is K-12 with about 60 kids per grade so it's not as big as mine with 250 kids per grade. I can drive now so that's not a huge problem, but is it wise to transfer? I don't know a ton of people there and don't want to be the "new kid" again, plus when my old friends see that I'm not like them I don't want them to think I'm weird and I'll be friendless. Any tips?

When she told me she dated this guy who was 18 (she was 14 at the time), she did not want to date him at all. But on his birthday, she agreed to date him. At first, I was a little disturbed that he wanted to date my friend since he knew her parents won't let her date an older guy till she is 18. Yet she said that she truly loves him with all her heart and was planning on leaving him for another guy. When we had our 1st fight she told me why cant i be happy for her and that I threw her under the bus (I never did!) and that a friend is supposed to care about each other (I always cared about her, I always tried my best to help her when she needed me and i even expresssed my concerns for her) and that I always say negative things about her bf. I never did. the "negative" things are the same stuff she said about him. then she decided not to be my friend anymore If you're going to be like bertsta and tell me to stop interfering save your breath. She would ALWAYS come to me if she was having problems with him. In the beginning, when I would ask how were things going with him, she immediately tell me their problems. When I decided to stop asking about her bf, she would still come to me and complain about him because at that time I was the only person (beside her brother and former best friend) knew about their relationship.

Like if want to go on a mini holiday trip somewhere on my own and maybe visit an event in the area that suits my interests (e.g like a gig or exhibition), it's not weird is it? Sometimes I feel like people have to know where I am all the time.

How do I NOT be awkward?? I was in the store and my friend runs up to me and says hi and I was like a deer in the headlights. My mom was with me too. I had no idea what to say. So my friend (I ll call her L), is going through a real tough time because her mom could no longer afford to pay rent of their aparmtnet, so her mom went to go stay with a friend and work 40 miles away and L found a place to stay at for a while to continue going to school.( We are sophomores in high school). The people L was staying with recently just kicked her out and L no longer has a place to stay. Ive never really been considered cool and/or popular by anyone. Im okay with that. I have a bit of a problem with trust because of things that happened in the past. Those things have caused me to do things I regret including leaving permanent marks on my body which has lead to me losing friends and added to the seemingly infinite reasons people have not to be my friend. First impression I come off as an introverted & quiet person, I struggle to accept compliments, & Im afraid to tell people close to me about my problems because i feel like they will think im annoying and clingy. I'm a college student, and my major's class size is extremely small. As a result, most people in my class know everyone else, hang out together, party together, etc. I'm usually the odd one out because I'm not that good with talking to people. My education was delayed last semester, so I will be starting this next semester with the class batch after the one I was in - a.k.a. I am entering a brand new group of people. I don't want to end up on the sidelines like last time, but I'm having a really hard time figuring out how to prevent that from happening. Most of the people in my new class probably already know each other, so I'm really worried that I'm not going to be able to join existing groups. I had recently started dating this guy a few months ago, and right away my friends were happy for me. but after a Halloween party a few people spread a rumor that me and my boyfriend were having sex. I am 16, my friend who we ll call "Mike" is 16, same for my fiend we ll call "Jim". My friend "Jason" is 18. We stayed at each other's houses before and we've known each other for 3 and a half years. We text each other almost every day and we talk on the phone too but I'm usually the one to call and sometimes she doesn't even pick up her phone and doesn't bother to call back later on. We go out to eat or to the cinema or to shop etc. at least once or twice a month. But she doesn't celebrate my birthdays and neither do I. Isn't this situation at all weird? I celebrated her birthday the last 2 times actually and she never celebrated mine before. I can't be sure if she really wants to have me as a friend or if there's something about me that she needs. So I have lived in a lot of different cultures but right now I am going to a Dutch school and I just really feel like I don't fit in here because Dutch people only hang out with other Dutch people and as a person of colour who grew up with British people, I feel like I don't fit in and I just feel so alone in general. So for my 16th birthday I was going to do a party but then when I had to write up invites I realized all the people I was inviting were 18-19 year old makes and I m a 15 year old female. I m debating whether to go thru with this because I feel like it s really weird. Should I send out the invites?!?!

She unfortunately moved during the summer going into 7th to the suburbs, which was hard for me. She then began making friends over at her new school, which I'm not against; however, she's friends with this one certain person that I don't like at all. He has betrayed her not once, not twice, but three times. But I swear to God the next time he hurts you or anyone I warned you about, do not come crying to me because i warned you. And that's that." She replied back saying "Best friends are supposed to be there for each other, I can't believe you said that." Am I wrong for saying that to her? I just need to find a way to solve this.

Ok so I have a best friend (we are both girls) who goes to a private school in a different state (but a couple people still know her from my school cause she used to go there in middle school) but her school doesn't have ball. I have a friend overseas, but I haven't been able to contact him for the past several months and I fear something might've happened to him (he used to get in some trouble before). I know his full name, state and city he lives in, I tried checking jail records in his city but didn't find him. Is there any other way I can use his information to find out if something happened to him? We were very good friends so I highly doubt he would suddenly just ditch me like that for no reason.

I don t really know how to ask this... Here s the story... I never go out but Me and my best friend decided to go out on the 16th of last month... She got a beer and little did I know that someone had actually brought it to her instead of her going and getting it herself... We both drank it and that was all I had to drink that night. Hey everyone, recently I've been frustrated with my friends joking around with my appearance. The 5 of us have been hanging out once a week for the past four years. This past year, however, they decided compare themselves or other "ugly" people with me and how im inferior to them. It makes me feel insecure and I just shrug off their jokes. It makes me struggle to focus and personally feel confident. One of the worst of these occasions was when one of my friends simply said, "I'm way better looking than you", after I sarcastically said we were twins. I was just with my son in the car and just bursted into tears. I didn't even realize what date it was. What should I do? His dad is my plumber,so I see him on regular basis.I don't see his mom though. I would like to bring together friends and have a memory in my friend's honor. I love my husband but it makes me cry my friend gave up all his hopes and dreams for serving our country. He had a crush on me,but he still went into the service.How should I talk my husband into this?

So one of my good friends is on a team and on that team she has 2 other close friends. The problem is, she is always with them and if they are there when I text her, they steal her phone and start to curse at me. Btw, my parents look at my texts so they see this and I have an Apple Watch also and I can't even delete the texts on there and I have to see them. At her bday party me and my bestest friend (not the girl that I was talking about before) met them and they were a fake kind of nice to us. Now they always curse at us and my good friend always has the NERVE to tell us that they talk behind our back about all of our flaws and that we are annoying and this and that. I cannot take this anymore!! How to deal with these jealous people and have to see those texts?

So there is this speech competition at my school does and I REALLY want to do it! I tried out last year and I made it and then the competition part was super fun! But this year my friend wants to do it and normally this wouldn't be a problem but I'm just worried about a couple things. She's one to brag and I'm worried that she'll make it and I won't and if that happens I KNOW that she will brag! Or, I'm worried that if we both make it she might do better in the competition then me and then she would brag and her parents would brag. Should I still do it? Should I not do it? Or what should I do?

I started smoking just because as soon as I started, a lot of people wanted to be friends with me even though I am against smoking, I kind of starve myself just because today you are seen beautiful only if you re skinny, I hang out with people I don t want to just because everyone likes that person, etc. Lately I feel like I m being myself only on the internet, I am even afraid to listen to the music I like when my friends are around just because they think the music is stupid. I wanted to go to an art highschool but ended up in some shitty one because of my friends and it s really hard for me to pass some classes, I m really just ruining my life how do I stop being like this?

I have a friend we hadn t talked in two years. I text her hey what s up? she replied okay busy with life. I told her why... she told me. stops talking to me when I ask her do you want hang out?. A month later, I ask is she busy because she already did everything she wanted like passing driver s test and get job. I ask her want hang out when your free? she kept making excuses, ignoring me, or really busy as friend I understand, but I think she s avoiding me and doesn t want to be friends anymore. I ask her about this, so we argued and I text okay I understand your busy and all, so I ll let you text me when you re good and we can hang out. never text back or nothing and I text her back 4 weeks later to hang out never replied. is this a sign she s not my friend anymore?

My best friend is the most popular kid at school ! All the girls love him and everyone else his is fan even the teachers i even heard rumors that some of our teachers have a crush on him he is that popular. I like to be with him. But for a long time he has been pranking me. One day he defecated diarrhea in my chocolate milkshake and bust into laughter when i drank it. Then he daily farts at my face whenever im least expecting and laughs at me when im embarrassed. Few days ago he filled my backpack with his feces and yesterday he peed at my feet so i sliped because of his urine and hurt my self while the entire class laughed. I want him to stop but im afraid it might hurt his feelings and might de-friend me. I dont want that to happen if that happens the entire school will hate me because he is so popular :( What should i do. He also urinates in my water bottle and makes me drink his pee water and once he replaced the patty of my burger with his turd. Please tell me what to do ?
