Posted: 07 Jan 2016 07:44 PM PST So I met this guy who goes to my college, he plays basketball for the school (that should have been the first sign smh) so we've been having sex for almost three months. Last time we had sex was just on Tuesday and he even said he'd come see me on Saturday and spend the night because he's not busy on Sunday. So I thought everything was going good. Until today he posts a picture on instagram of this girl and the caption says "Satisfaction" with a heart emoji. So I would assume by this that he is in some way involved with this girl on a more than friends basis. So idk I feel like I shouldn't be hurt by it because we were never really dating but I still kind of am but I don't know why honestly it just hurts a little bit. What should I do? |

I just broke up with my boyfriend and I think my guy friend is trying to find a way to ask me out but he really needs to give me some personal space. My mom rented out a house for the day for one of my birthday celebrations with my friends. My other friends are sleeping in other rooms and they are asleep right now, I'm sharing a room and bed with him, I don't mind though. Earlier I was taking a shower and he walked into the bathroom and just sat in the bathroom and starting just talking about random stuff while I was in the shower. I asked him if I could get dressed and he handed me my panties. I peeked my head out of the curtain and he said oh you want me to leave and he looked really sweaty and kept breathing really hard, then he walked out. We once almost had sex but we were super drunk and I sobered up for about 10 seconds to tell him it was a bad idea. We didn t talk again for almost a year. I got really broken up about it and never completely got over it (I dont know why) until I dated a girl over the summer, it lasted a couple months but didn t work out, and I got over it fast. But then the first girl and i reconnected and started talking again around August and got really close. We dated in September for a week, but then broke off and decided to be fwb. But I still felt strongly for her so after a few months of that it died out because I wanted more and realized it wouldn t happen so we drifted apart for a couple months. Until recently we started talking as friends again, and I had no intention of being anything else but that. But now these feelings arise and I don t want them. I love being around her, we have killer matching personalities and it s always great being with her. But I know if I ever tried again with her it probably won t work out. So how can I be just friends with her without being plagued with these infectious feelings. |

They have a son together so I get that he would want and need to be civil with her but I think personally that they are too friendly. He thinks it s ok that she calls him for rides to the airport instead of asking one of her friends first, he goes over there to just hang out with his son, eat meals, hang out there with her mom while his ex is on deployment. She has made it very clear she wants to have sex and get back with him which is a big reason I find it not only inappropriate but disrespectful for their relationship to be more than just about what s going on with the child. She doesn t know about me to "avoid drama" as I type this whole situation it just seems fishy. Am I wrong for thinking this is a deal breaker? I feel that her and her wants and needs will always come first and me and my son will be the third wheel. |

I've paid the price for this, and I've blown opportunities to date really cool, nice, beautiful women. Literally every girl I've been with, she basically made all the moves, and I just went with it.
