I have been with him for a good few years and we have talked about wanting to get married, and he has been there for me through everything and in return of all things he had done for me, i wanna a plan a secret wedding for him!!! We both have different ideas of what we want to have the theme of the wedding he wants to do a super hero/villain wedding and I would love to do a steam punk wedding so we decided to have a steam punk super hero/villain wedding. Just got engaged to my girlfriend of 3 years. Entire family and friends are very happy, hers and mine. However my finances one good friend is being really rude. The day we got engaged she said all this nice stuff but it was almost fake. The very next day she tells my gf that she is questioning the engagement, said she thinks she is making a mistake, etc. Me and my girlfriend did get in a bad fight last month that was triggered because at the time I was not ready to commit, so it did cause a bad couple weeks fight etc, but thats the past. But now her friend is making her feel so akward saying she thinks my fiancee should think about this, it's a bad idea, etc. Everyone else has been very supportive. Actually I talked to this friend about my plans for engagement a couple weeks ago and she had even given me ideas of when to to do ect, was being very supportive and when me and my gf were in the fight she was supportive of her saying we should work things out, ect. So strange now she is discouraging/ not being supportive to my fiancee. Is this rude for someone to do this?

I live in New England with my Fiance. My family and friends all live in Kentucky. We are wanting the wedding to be in Kentucky. All of the people who are going to help plan the wedding and help me with picking out my dress etc all live in Kentucky. I live and work in Maine. How is it possible to plan my entire wedding when I live 1000 miles away?

Hey guys, well am about to propose marriage to my girlfriend but she is not really the type of girl who uses jewelry, couple years ago I gave her a beautiful expensive watch and have never used it am the type of men that really likes the idea of proposing with a ring I think a ring it is really symbolic but am like why would I spend thousand of dollars in a ring if she is not going to use it, I think she will adore a ring but instead of using the ring will be saved in the box forever.
