Question: Can I use any diamond in this Verragio ring? Posted: 10 Dec 2015 08:42 AM PST I recently obtained a Verragio ring. The model number is INS-7049D. I'm not the best when it comes to jewelry but I know my girlfriend loves Verragio rings and doesn't expect one because of how expensive they are. I bought this ring from a friend, who never got the chance to propose to his girlfriend. So the ring is unused, however -- he did have a 1.5 carat diamond placed in the center, but has sold that recently on eBay. I know that Verragio's site says that this ring can accommodate .75 and up. But I did want to ask if the fact that he's had a much larger diamond in than that, if it will STILL accommodate a smaller sized diamond? I can't afford to buy a 1.5 carat diamond. I'm sure something can be done. But I don't want the ring to look weird. And in a all honesty, my girlfriend has very small hands, and has said that she doesn't like the way 1 carat diamonds look on her fingers. So I'd really like to stay closer to the .75 mark if at all possible. What should I do? If I bought a loose diamond wholesale or on eBay or something (from a reputable seller), would a jeweler be able to set the diamond in my ring without it looking strange and jeopardizing the quality of the ring? |
Question: Which song should be our first dance song? Posted: 10 Dec 2015 04:01 AM PST My fiancé and I are getting married in March and we are stuck between which of "our songs" we should have our first dance to. It's between Shania Twain's "From This Moment" and "Then" by Brad Paisley. We can't seem to decide on one. What do you guys think? |
