He is quite in touch with his emotions and very fond of me to the point that he wants to spend every single day with me. He is a submariner in the Navy, 27 years old, and has never seriously dated a women before me. I am 21 and a full time university student living with my parents. I am financially dependent on them. My fiancé drank often before meeting me because he was so lonely. He was deployed recently for about 3 months, and right before he came back I moved to Europe for 3 months to study at a university. We fought often over the phone during my time away because he felt abandoned by me. I came back to the U.S. and spent 3 days with him before I went back to my parents. He contacted me today telling me that he feels lonely even though I am in the U.S. He wants me to spend EVERY SINGLE MINUTE WITH HIM. He lives alone and wants me to move in with him, but I have very conservative parents who don t believe in living together before marriage. He lives 45 min from my university and the car I drive belongs to my father, so I can t just pack my bags and take my father s car to my fiancé s place. My fiance would more than gladly provide for me financially. I love him dearly and it hurts me to know that he feels so lonely. We don t plan to marry until summer 2016. It isnt a rational choice for me to move in with him, but i love him and cant stand to see him so lonely. Any advice? |

We didn't date a long time, but things sure ended abruptly when he decided to ghost me. When I agreed to meet up with him MONTHS after the fact (and after not speaking to him in any form), he expressed a genuine apology and (it seems) regret. He left the matter asking for a second chance, which I obviously was quite apprehensive towards, so I thought about it for a LONG time. Eventually I gave him a "Maybe, but it's too early to tell" answer. To which he responded, but since then we haven't really spoke. Did he only want to apologize? (and not want to try again). If so, I think that's incredibly nice, but that almost seems too unlikely. |

However things escalated the day before Christmas eve: I sent him a ridiculous yet funny meme about Target supposedly aside from giving Flu shots would also give Anti-thot shots since it was "cuffin season" and with him being quite flirtatious I told him that he should "consider" getting the shot. At first, I thought he understood my joke when he replied that what was I trying to tell him with a happy emoji face. I told him I was just being "considerate" wink wink. Then he replied with "Whatever, Thot!!" So I obviously took it personal and told him off, he then replied that it was a crude joke, and me being upset I told him why I was "correct" in never taking him seriously. The next day he texted me Merry Christmas. I explained myself in a more civilized matter why I had said what I said and he sarcastically apologized: "Okay sorry. A thousand apologies your majesty." But I shook it off. Somehow that day he texted me twice asking what were my plans for the day yet he wouldn't reply. I became fed up and told him if he was still mad to just stop wasting my time and let it be. He didn't reply AGAIN. It's been a day. Is he really careless? Or? |

Her happiness means more to me than my own at times. The issue though is that I don't feel like she feels the same towards me. I feel like I'm the problem in our relationship and I don't know if I'm happy anymore.. Every time we go out and do anything, she critiques me about how I'm acting. She wants me to be a certain way to make her happy and if I'm not being that type of person it upsets her. I feel like I have to go through a checklist of items before I see her in order to make sure I do particular things to make her want to be with me. This in turn makes me feel like I can never actually be my true self around her because I'm always worried if what I'm doing and how I'm acting will be ok in her eyes. If I'm not, she will get upset at me about it. She beats me down constantly about my self-image because I'm not an ultra huge ripped guy which she wants me to be. I'm not out of shape at all but I'm just not ripped with muscle. I'm 6'5, tall and somewhat skinny. She tells me if I do get ripped, she will be much closer to me and want me sexual much more. This alone REALLY hurts my self confidence and brings me down. When I was younger, I was blinded by love to these issues. | Posted: 26 Dec 2015 06:48 PM PST I bumped back of car and broke one headlight, I got it replaced and fixed it but the hood is still chipped and I honestly can not afford to to fix it, I already spend hundreds replacing both headlights and I am only 19. My bf comes back in 2 days and I'm so scared. He knows about the headlights and he knows I fixed it and said he's impressed with how fast I fixed it and said he's not too mad...... But look at the hood... Should I just like paint over the white part? It's a fiberglass hood. He has anger issues. |

Posted: 26 Dec 2015 06:36 PM PST He is about 4 years older then me and was my boss for the duration of my employment, although I recently quit (on good terms.) I have always had feelings for him and he showed obvious signs of affection for me but nothing ever came of it, and rightfully so. Christmas eve I got a very surprising "Merry Christmas" text from him, which led into a conversation lasting 3-4 hours that night. Now, I believe he had been drinking alcohol that night because of some poorly worded sentences and when I asked, he'd admitted to being a little drunk, although the conversation was PG-rated and was very fun/light hearted. The kicker - I think he professed his feelings for me when he called me "The love of his life" but I'm unsure how serious he was, or if he was being a tease. I've avoided texting him since that night, out of fear he didn't mean anything. Because my feelings for him are genuine, I am a little scared if I should proceed with a "Hello" or perhaps throw the baby out with the bath water and forget about it the whole thing. I could just come out and ask him, but this is where you guys come in.... what should I do? Thanks Yahoo'ers! |

We spoke for the first time in 6 weeks yesterday...nothing like dating wise but just about his cat that I got him and stuff. I started talking to another guy but anytime I say anything, I feel like I'm cheating on my ex. It's a horrible feeling. I obviously still love my ex as he was my first everything (kiss, sex, etc.) but I don't really see myself being back with him anymore as I spent 6 weeks grieving our relationship. I don't think he wants to get back with me or anything but I'm sure if he finds out about this other guy, he's going to be crushed. What do I do? |

Posted: 26 Dec 2015 06:32 PM PST Okay, so, I'm 18, and there was this girl in my school in which I fell in love with, cause she was showing signs that she likes me too, very obvious signs.. And later I realized that she's one of those easy girls, but at that point, it was too late cause I told her about my feelings for her, and she friendzoned me lol... We proceeded being friends for a while, but it wasn't cool at all.. And when she started ignoring me on messages, I just decided to leave her life and don't bother her anymore, so I started ignoring her at school, and so as she, after noticing that I ignore her... So, 2 months later, we still ignore each other, but she started glancing me and liking my facebook pictures (she used to not-like my pictures when we were in good relations), she even posted a facebook status dedicated to me (no, my name wasn't on it but...), about how she meant everything to me one day, and that she didn't existed for me the other day. I feel like I'm not right about this, like I found a tiny reason and erased her (and I think I annoyed her too much on chat :/ ).. but, all those greetings with hugs and kisses, turned into just ordinary greetings, and all I felt after every time I talked with her was hope, and then when I would see her standing with some other guy - disappointment.... I think it's better this way, I don't want false hope, and she, well, I don't think she wants our friendship back.. she has lots of other friends with who she looks friendlier than she did with me.... |

Posted: 26 Dec 2015 06:32 PM PST My bf broke up with me (october 28 i think) and he told me he left me for another girl he use to date and he said if it wasnt for her we would still be together weeks later he would text me like for atleast maybe 4 days now and i told him i still like him and he was shocked, ive never liked someone so much im interested in him he handsome funny and has a cute laugh, he is my first high school relationship. But my mom said he is playing me, when i told him i like him he said he still has feelings for me and has stuff going on. But when he text our conversations dont always last long because we never know what to talk about any ideas? |

Because we vibed I starting liking him. Slowly but surely I could feel it being reciprocated. He had told me that he had broken up with his girlfriend of 1.5 years, a couple months before he started talking to me, but they still work together at a different job he has. Since I was his friend I encouraged him multiple times to try to work things out, but he said no because SHE CHEATED ON HIM. Then once we became closer, I asked him if he still wanted to be with her & he said no. I honestly thought we were getting somewhere. One time we fell out due to "he said, she said" stuff & then he asked if I wanted us to try again. Then we kissed & went back to normal. We began getting to know each other better so that we could build our "friendship" into something more. During this we ended up having sex a couple times. Whenever I get stressed at work he either hugs me or hold me & tells me he's going to help me & he does. He always kisses me & throughout the day I catch him staring at me with his mouth all open lol (including yesterday). Sounds nice right? Well yesterday evening...while I was working he rolled up in the store we work at with his ex girl. I guess they were on their way to work. That pissed me off. Her & I were making full on eye contact until he called her to check out. I work with him tomorrow. Should I cut him off or should I talk to him? Or both? |

His best friend is a girl and when we started dating i was jealous of her because they seemed really close but he assured me there was nothing going on, she was just a really close childhood friend and so i was fine with it, never gave it a second thought after that. But today i went to his dorm to surprise him for his birthday and when i walked in, he was getting head from her. I just left crying. I dont get why he would do that? He has been texting and calling me that he is sorry but i dont know hether or not to take him back. I mean, who know how long he has been doing stuff with her? Should i give him a second chance? |

My younger brother just found out I was messaging someone and has said that "he works for ISIS" and that I should "block him and never respond to him". The problem is that he's a very nice, respectful guy, imo. He has complimented me but in nice, non-disgusting ways. He has said that he is who he says he is, that I can be myself around him, and is just kind and reassuring in general, from what I have gathered from his messages to me. But at the same time, I don't want to be the victim of a catfish. And I don't want to risk getting hurt, even though it doesn't seem like he would do so. But I've only messaged him for about a week.. And I didn't want to be rude to him because...he wasn't rude and hasn't been rude to me. I don't know what to do!! Again, I don't want to cause him to hate me if he's not an evil person, but I don't want to risk getting harmed, either. And, it's not like he's the most attractive person ever, but I do think he's slightly handsome,especially his personality, as shown in his videos. I just would like some advice to go about this (continuing messaging him or slowly fading away or straight up telling him it's weird to talk to strangers). Again, part of that reservation is due to legitimate fears, but part of it is due to fear of what my peers and family would think of me messaging a random person... I would love any advice regarding this semi-awkward situation. Again, I must repeat he has been very respectful towards me and has not cussed or talked dirty with me at all. Two things that could be seen as slightly risky/ red-flags , though, ARE that he has sent me kissy, blushing, and heart emojis (aka he's flirting without being disgusting) and ..that we have told each other what states we live in (but I must say, he added, "if I may ask?" when he asked me, and I actually already figured out where he lived based off of his videos). I don't want to rudely ignore him all of a sudden, but I also want to be safe. Any advice!?! (Oh and I'm 21, and he's 18..) Thanks in advance!! Posted: 26 Dec 2015 06:27 PM PST My ex broke up with me a month ago and she texted me today and I asked her if we could be friends and she said no and sent a picture of a guy on snap chat saying it was her new boyfriend then she said he wasn't her boyfriend then we texted some more and then she said she had to go because she was going on a date with him and then I said something to her and she said I never said I was gonna date him and then I said to her I thought u were going on a date because going on a date means you want to date him she then said not necessarily then all of a sudden she said it was a double date so it doesn't really count so idk what she's trying to do because she said she's over me so someone please help on what she's trying to do |

My friends would then laugh about it (to avoid awkwardness). I wonder why just me and not my friends? I don t act or say anything slutty.
