I am constantly doing stuff to make it clear I want to be friends, even more really, but he doesn't seem to notice when there are other people around. When were are alone he acts like he likes me too, but he's different when he is around his other friends. It's like I don't exist when there are people around, like I'm not good enough when we're in public. And the more people he meets while were in college the less and less he acknowledges my existence. I've been ignoring his actions for so long, and he literally won't stop. I don't give him any reaction. He takes my phone constantly and hides it somewhere in the classroom, and just get up and get it, no laughing, no angriness. He has done this countless times with my other belongings (calculator, notebook, etc). Today I caught him taking my calculator, and I really just had enough. But it all stopped when I "came" into his life. He stopped liking any of their pictures. I know it sounds strange that I'm interested in this small detail, but could this be a sign? We get along very well and we rarely have fights, but when we do, they always seem endless and more often than not start with things that could be resolved much easier. What happens is, I have extremly low self-esteem and I have a very hard time getting mad at him (because I feel I'm not entitled to it, ever). So, instead of getting mad at him (or after I do), I feel extremly guilty and fall into a spyral of guilt which results in apologizing non-stop and not giving him enough space. We've talked about this multiple times and every time it happens I promise it won't happen again and it does. He has said many times he'd rather have me be mad at me than be mad at myself. I feel like I'm putting too much pressure on him to make me feel better about things that don't even matter. I'm incredibly submissive to other people's feelings. I've heard you can't love someone else before you love yourself, but I don't want to break up with him. I love him and I feel like other than that we have a pretty healthy relationship (we aren't co-dependent, we each have our own friends, goals and hobbies). What can I do? |

And then she starts texing me, not leaving me alone, calling me, trying to convince me to get back with her, calling me over and texting me over. My friends didnt think much of it and just saw it as "her being emotional" and its normal. And even though it was annoying, I didn't fault he because I figured she can't help how she feels so she is going to act on it. Eventually we talked and got back together and then I said something mean to her that hurt her feelings and she broke up with me. Then I became the one who was calling her, texting her all the time, trying to get her back, but when I start acting this way, she and other people start seeing me as Needy, Clingy, Obsessive and Stalker or creepy. So why is when she becomes emotional its ok but when I do it I'm all of these things I found it annoying because I was trying to move on, her persistence did eventually work because I figured if she is this persistence maybe she really does care. Once I did it, she will always look straight to my eyes before I enter the classroom. She will be at the second lobby, and once I appear she will look at me for few seconds. She and a friend were sitting together and both giggle then ran. She will give me half smiles/smirks at times I saw once at hallway with a friend and we both made eye contact until she broke it and look down. She at time will act like she does not see me but knows I'm in her presence. Last semester we did not had classes but saw her at the hallway. I came out the restroom and turn around, she look surprise since we both made eye contact and lasted long then she turns away fast. Her friend just look at me. Her cheeks were pinkish but could have been makeup. I was going up the stairs and she saw me and quickly went up. Before she saw me she was walking normal I saw her at the train stop and she look at me surprise with no smile/no expression but look straight to my eyes.she saw me but acted like she did not see me i was w/ friend talking and she passed by but kept walking with a serious face and act if i was there. I definitely want to live with him again soon because it felt so comfortable. I fear of the whole "feeling like roommates" situation when we get older but I don't comprehend it. To me, the only difference between just two friends living together was sex. We're not super romantic people but that makes us both feel safe and comfortable in our relationship (I equate romanticism to infatuation to honeymoon phase to eventual break up). Like, they are always talking to them, hugging, touching their arm, laughing at their jokes, complimenting them, etc. Yet they are always attracting unwanted sexual/romantic attention, and even though they're uncomfortable with it they still continue to be friendly towards them. Why do they do this? |

She then approached me and started whispering in my ear showing interest. We were in a nightclub and it was quiet enough on the dancefloor. She started grinding against me and so like I do any other night I turned her around to face me and went for the kiss but as I did she pulled away and returned to her friends. I felt really embarrassed because I m not used to women of her age ( like 35) coming to me and so I approached it as I would someone who was my age. What should I have done differently and if I see her again should I try go for it again or have I screwed it up completely? |

This is my third NC( if it matters) We dated for 8 months and separated for 4 months but still kept in contact here and there. First time I did NC(lasted 3 weeks) she came back to me wanna try things out again ,but failed because we kept arguing ( Reason why she broke up with me and my clinginess) Second time( lasted 10 days) I went back to her but stupid me wanna rush into a relationship but she didn't as she mention this was a never ending cycle. Before I stopped talking to her, I send her a very long message that had all my feelings in it. Make it simple I basically told her that I love her. She was one my first true love although she was my third girlfriend.( I was on two rebound relationships) She showed me love and everything we did was special but I also told her off by telling her I hate her. Hated her because she did nothing to save our relationship. She told me she was sorry and that I'm a good guy and sorry for the hurt. And told me never assumed that she didn't care for me. During the time of being Ive learn not to be clingy and improve. As I join a gym and improve myself image. I wanna try again but idk if I should, because I been trying for a long time. Make things worse I work with my ex gf as we both applied at the same but didn't know we get the same hours and days. I still love and miss her. So should I contact her? We made eye contact one day at work. |
