I want to talk to her about it but I I'm afraid that she'll say something again, which she did before when I asked her for nutrition advice. When my parents found out it didn't help at all! It was really stressful and they didn't know how to handle it. I miss her so much but I don't want to be a bother and I don't want to be annoying either! Steve is kind of a dork and doesn't really have social skills because he was bullied a lot in high school and is still pretty much an outcast. Recently he just got his first girlfriend and tends to act like a dick when he's around her. Like he will bring up personal **** about me and laugh about it to impress her. Most of the times he just lies though. Me and steve went camping last weekend and he was on the phone with her. He was doing his usual **** by acting all cocky. He started making up this story about how apparently he fought 3 guys at once because I was hitting on their girlfriends. The whole story was fake. Then when we ran out of firewood so I told him to come help me get some. So steve said something that made no sense like " oh you want to get wood because you have a small dick?" So I told him ok wait here. I ended up going to my truck and leaving him by himself all night. Did I overreact ? I understand this is his first girlfriend but it's like come one dude. Last year he used to come to me for advice with dating and stuff. I used to bring him to party's and stuff. People used to be creeped out by him because he would just sit in the corner the whole night and drink byhimself. I didn't care though I stuck up for him. |

From seeing on Facebook it seems like they are always having so much fun making new friends while I'm here at home doing nothing. It's almost impossible to make friends at my community college because their all in their late 20's-30's and I'm only 21. Also everyone just leaves and goes either to work or home after class so it's a lot harder than at a university since most people live there. And it's hard for me to join groups in school or outside of school because most of the people in them already have their own friends that are also in the groups. I really want to make new friends but I feel like I can't. Help! |

I confronted her about it this summer and she assured me that I was still her best friend. but as the semester has been going on, she's continually made me feel like she doesn't care. on my birthday she was back in town but bailed on her plans with me and then then didn't post anything on social media about my birthday, even though she did for our other friends and her roommate. in fact she never posts anything about us on social media together but always does with other people, almost like she's ashamed of being with me. she also doesn't seem that happy that I'm going to be transferring to the same college as her (I'm obviously transferring for other reasons besides the fact she's there) and she kind of shot me down when she said she needed a roommate for next year and I offered to. As we all know we need to give girls space to do there own thing as well. Later that same night she asked if i can pick her up. As i arrived in my car i noticed my gf and her friends talking to a group of guys outside this house party. I walked up to the group and i walked away with my gf back to my car. I then noticed all the guys were heavily starring at me. No more then a second as i'm walking away one of the dudes in that group screams to my gf "HHEYYYY IM GOING TO TXT YOU". | Posted: 10 Dec 2015 10:01 AM PST I transferred into a public commuter college w/ a reputation for not doing background checks. Anyway, I have 2 male profs. One is in his 50's, the other very late 30's possibly. For both classes I sit in the back. I'm NOT the only person sitting in the back. Both rooms have about 25-34 students. My prof in his 50's created a nickname for me, asked me during an exam"If I'm married or single?" And openly asked me in front of the class if I have a rich boyfriend. Once he snuck up on me while waiting alone for the elevator, after class, to ask me for a kiss when he saw me putting on Chapstick. I refused!!!!! My other professor in his 30's kept making ALOT of prolonged eye contact with me in the back of the room since day ONE. It got so frequent I keep my eye down always. When I had to work in groups he impulsively sat in a desk right next to me and leaned in closer to me and started looking at what I was doing on my iPad and said in a teasing way to me "uh oh". Another time I came to class wearing a dress because I had an event I had to do right after class. I did wear a blazer. As he was assigning us to groups he paused, stared at me and openly looked down at my chest (not 1st time) and started smiling. When I looked away in disbelief he immediately assigned me to my group. He Has even withheld my paper from me when he called me up to his desk to get the same paper he JUST called me for, and sat there smirking as waited patiently while he gave everyone else there papers 1st. There's more that has happened. No space to explain more. It's just I'm trying to find out if what is going on is inappropriate and how to handle it? I feel like my education isn't being taken seriously. I can't go to another school as its all my family can afford. My old college wasn't like this. I came from a school where I held a high GPA, got rewards for it and the staff was respectful. Is it just me or is it the staff/ or school?? I am a shy and quiet person. I always focus on my work. |

What scares me most is that Joel has been saying things like no one would care if he just disappeared and mentions suicide even, but I care. He is alone this Christmas, like always. He never liked my Joel, thinks he is a washed up loser. No one else minds except Tyler, who is planning everything. It's a hectic situation. That is where I met her, but we are not friends. I was having a conversation with another friend on FB and she used my brother-in-law's FB to chat with me and butted into a serious conversation by saying, "Hi, what's up?" I did not know how to respond and I just saw her a few days ago at the doctor's office. I felt awkward and sent her a friend request, but now regret it because she has caused trouble in different ways. My original beef was that she was not even on my friend's request and interrupted a conversation between me and a friend on facebook and the girl was having all kinds of emotional issues. It s a long story and we do have somewhat of a romantic history. But long story short, every time we ve made plans he s blown me off recently, and I can t understand why he s doing this in such a mean way. He doesn t say, "I don t think I can attend anymore" or anything like that, which would be better than what he does. He just straight up does not acknowledge it and leaves me hanging as to whether we are doing anything. When I finally ask about it, he says, "Ohh, hmmm maybe, let me know what time you are going and **maybe** I ll show up." The worst thing is that this activity was his idea in the first place! It was something he wanted to do before he leaves town. He was only here temporarily and is leaving for forever in two days. I really miss the friend I once knew and it hurts me that he is treating me this way. Anyways, we play on the same soccer team tonight and I m just feeling so awful that I think I will be cold and distant, and I hope I don t snap with any snarky remarks. I don t want to let him have the pleasure of seeing that I m hurt and upset. I have another friend hosting a dinner and I was considering going to that to hang out with friends who actually appreciate me, but at the same time the first friend is leaving in two days and I can t deny that I want to see him. Even though she is doing really well, it is easy for her to panic. When we are to be given a test she starts trembling, breathes fastly, feels dizzy, is not able to speak and sweats. She is only 15 and she already has some white hairs (her doctor said they may have appeared because of her constantly feeling like that). I know this sounds crazy and autistic (not being offensive), but I still live with my parents and I also go to college. I've got two twin cousins who are 14, but we're like really close and we like playing sports together on the weekends. Sometimes we like doing some crazy stuffs such as playing with light saber toys against each other and even jumping on the bed if they happen to spend some nights at my house on the long term holidays, of course they have been allowed by their parents as their parents have known me since I was 5 and we've begun playing together since they were like 4 and I was 9. Even though these guys are only 14, but I think they're awesome and they're like my best friends I've ever had. My mom has occasionally told me to stop doing this but I just can't help myself since they think what will happen if my college friends come over and saw us doing some crazy kid stuffs. Posted: 10 Dec 2015 01:22 AM PST I'm a freshman in highschool now, and I've known my friend since we were in kindergarten- which is a long time not knowing. She has mentioned it once or twice, but all I've gotten out of the conversations is that my friend was born strangely, or something happened in the womb that gave her speech problems growing up. However, after years of going to speech therapy, she is now in highschool and says things like "Am back" instead of "I am back" or "I'm back." She has strange, illogical ideas for her careers (FBI, a maid, fashion designer) without proper consideration or thinking on it. It feels like she's slow? I'm not sure if she just has trouble communicating or what, but considering these facts, does anyone know what might be her problem, or a way to ask her mom what the problem is? My friend hasn't been told anything about it, and when I ask she just says she has no idea. I'm just curious right now, because I'd like to help her with careers and colleges and stuff, but I can't without understanding her issues more. |

I am 29 n my friend is same age. I was whining about how boring is life when we do what society tells us blah blah, I also said I wanna die younger and not old with diseased body.. general stuff like that.. I did not say anything about him. He called me moron, ********, turd (lol)... I was like wth.. i replied nice words u ****... n he called me ****.. so at this point it became pretty much like kids fighting n I told him dude wtf.. we r grown ups... n I told him not to be sissy. I said I bet u haven t killed a mosquito in ur life... stop acting like a girl... dont know what happened to him, he said goodbye, hv a nice life.... I dont understand what s wrong with this person. We have been friends since childhood. I live in different countries n usually talk once in a while but I thought we were adults n discussing stuff but it turned out he was a total jerk!! He's the only one who can't see that she's only using him to make her ex jealous. She doesn't care about him at all and she cheats on him all the time with her ex and yet my friend doesn't know. I'm debating whether or not I should tell him. He's happy with her, for some reason I'll never know. And I don't want this to make him pissed at me conflict with our friendship. Should I tell him or not? |

Posted: 10 Dec 2015 12:06 AM PST I am a 14 year old girl and I don't want friends, sometimes I will talk to people at school but that's not really the same as wanting friends but other than that the only people I like to be with is my family. Also outside of family I prefer to talk to middle age women like my parents friends. Plus I am very quiet (usually) and I am extremely cuddly every time one of my parents female friends come over I just hug onto them ( they seem to like it tho) and I attach onto my mom and grandma's. |

| Posted: 09 Dec 2015 11:13 PM PST Ever since they heard that my dad is now in charge of our family's island they have started talking and saying that I'm stuck up, a liar, spoiled diva, called me ugly words. One boy said that I'm lying and my family has no island because I am ugly and therefor I'm poor. It's not my island, it's my family's (the adults) and my dad just has the most responsibility towards it compared to our other family members. There is a woman who was in her early twenties, she started giving me dirty looks and labeled me as a brat. They don't understand that I didn't choose to even have an island to inherit, I was just born this way. It was my fault, because my parents told me to keep it to myself but I thought people would start wanting to be around me more but it went the totally opposite way. I regret saying it now. The thing is half of those people that are disrespecting me have family members who call my family's island "home". Some of their parents were even born on our island, and the reason they got to live there is because my family refuses to sale our island to people who want to turn it into a resort and cause the people to loose their homes. At times I just want to show them just what I can do and kick their family off our island and teach them a lesson for being disrespectful. |

The first two times I was okay with holding on to them , but since we weren't friends anymore , I could care less about her stuff. So I threw them out before we moved again. Now I had these boots since December of 2014. She never came and got them ever. But now she wants them back and I don't have them anymore xD So did I have the right to get rid of them? |

| Question: Why do teachers favor the jocks? Posted: 09 Dec 2015 09:40 PM PST I remember in high school the preppy jock kids would get away with everything. They would be loud and obnoxious in class, pick on other kids, swear real loud, show up late, skip class and the teachers would just look away or sometimes even laugh. But if anyone else did that stuff they'd get in a lot of trouble. Same thing now that I'm in college. Last year at community college there wasn't really cliques or a football team so it was good. Now that I'm at a university it's like high school all over again. The football players and cheerleaders do everything they did in high school and no professors bat an eye. Hell when the campus security busts one of the jocks underage drinking it just gets swept under the rug and they keep it all hush hush. But my buddy who is about to turn 21 got busted last week and he has to do community service and pay a fine to the school. |

My childhood best friend just recently had a baby and I feel so disappointed in her because her baby father is a mess and I never thought this would happen to her. As well with a couple girls from high school who got pregnant right after we graduated. I know it s a part of life but it makes me really sad. I know it s wrong to judge peoples life choices and I m not trying to bash them if anything I would only want to see them succeed in life. |

Every time I was over there, me and her daughter would do crazy things. One time, we were in the bathroom, and we experimented a little, I won't go into details for obvious reasons, but I think it was pretty normal for an 8 year old. Another time, I went on to their father's work computer, and searched Gay porn. I was to little to realize that just turning off the computer would not get rid of the tabs. I went home that night, only to hear my mom on the phone with her boss telling her about what she found on his computer. About a month later they got divorced. The father is now an alcoholic, and rarely if ever gets to see his daughter. Do to jail time etc. It is 10 years later, and he is about to be released from rehab. Should I come clean or not? |

When she's going to visit my home, I'm keeping busy two hours because her earlier plans took longer. I started driving separately so i can have fun at social gatherings until she shows up. How can I be more patient since she's always been that way and won't change? I stopped bringing it up to her because it's always the same. |

She suggested I get to know S a little bit, so she asked me if she wanted to come over to her house with S, which I agreed to. I've only met S once, at a birthday party. I don't know much about her, but I low-key think she already hates me :)))). I am really, and I mean REALLY shy, so it's also kind of hard for me to make friends. So it would probably make the whole day we spend pretty awkward. I think S is nice, and G says she is too. But the thing is I know I will probably be excluded from their conversations, or G will talk for me to S. I really don't want to come over anymore, but I don't want to let G down!
