She messaged me back and told me that that was "one of the best lines" that she has ever heard and I had "got her attention." We have been messaging back and forth for a few days now, but today she told me she is graduating from college next week and will be going to medical school three hours away. She also lives three hours away from my town in the other direction. I am really starting to like this girl, but I don't know if I should just stop talking to her because she is moving away so soon? What should I do? |

The thing is I do have this girl who I've been friends with since 7th grade (She's also a sophomore) but, she has friends in the class. Well she has this friends who typically ditches her for her other friend.. So tomorrow were supposed to pick a partner to sit next to the thing is there's a possibility that my friend will say me than there's another possibility she won't. Then I don't know anyone so I'll be left without one. And that is legit my worst fear ever ( huge embarrassment) now the thing is I have 2 Ap classes before 3rd period (So I'll miss out of work). But it's just too embarrassing for me then also if she does want to pick me and I'm not there I might get stuck with someone awful the day after.. WHAT DO I DO I'm freaking out |

Posted: 02 Dec 2015 04:57 PM PST Before I start I want to let you know that most of this applies to summer, so how can I make my summer memorable(even tho it is December XD)ok, so When I'm an adult I want to be able to look back at my teen years as some of the best in my life. So many people I know regret not making them the best as possible. I just turned 14 and I'm starting to see people my age go on vacations together, hang out every week, just enjoy every moment, and I know that they will be able to look back on times like that later in life. My parents are divorced, also somewhat strict so it wouldn't be very easy to have a summer romance, or sneak out, or go a lot of places alone. also I 5 hours away from the ocean and 1 hour away from the lake. plus my friends are really family oriented, so they couldn't really hang out all the time either. Please help, I'm really scared of missing out on these years. |

Maya said no she bought it from Walmart. Allie also hate this an ice cream shop because she thinks that they send her "hate mails and hate her ice cream shop". But that ice cream shop is the only place my friend Jasmine can purchase COMPLETELY peanut free ice cream bcuz peanuts can kill her. So I told her that ice cream shop is good because it uses all peanut free equipments so Jasmine can eat ice cream. She just said "Oh that's fine you are just a hater! I'm fine with it!" She called me a hater for not being in love with her ice cream shop?????? Also yesterday I fell down a stair and hurt my wrist badly she actually went like "OH ARE YOU OKAY?" I was in so much pain I couldn't even hear anyone, I said "I'm fine, thanks!" And she continued repeating it and I answered her again. But my wrist was turning red so I didn't response to her and was checking to see if it was broken. She said "Well just ignore me!" She also slams her locker and kick her locker if after one try it doesn't open. She also hates anything that doesn't go her way. I have no idea how to deal with this! He stares at me from distances and he looks away whenever I stare back. I always run into him a lot of places like I hung out at the park afterschool and he was there which he usually is never there and he kept staring at me. Today at school he was looking at me from far away and he walked into the hallway near where I hang out and when he walked out of the hall he turned around and stared at me and when I looked back at him he looked away... I never see him walk in that direction where I hang out ever so that was weird... Do you think I am just overthinking this? I don't wanna sound rude, but every guy I've dated (4) has played me, and I don't really find that something to let my parents, friends know about. Two years ago he started teaching me a lot about photography. I often assist him on photo shoots. We text every now and again. He invites me over to his house to hang out (both when his wife is and isn't around) and I see him about Once a week. Our conversations became less about photography and more about life. We talk about religion, philosophy, politics, relationships and just about everything. He is always eager to teach me about these things. I do think he is attractive but I would never try to make a move on him because I really value what we have now. I stayed over until 3 in the morning last night just talking and drinking with him. there is always what I thought was innocent flirting on his part. I changed my hair and he touched it and told me not to change it because he likes it. He has major issues with his wife and he started telling me how she drinks too much and comes home in the morning after a night out. He also complains about her in front of me when she is there as well. He never crossed a physical boundary until last night. When I was getting out of a car we were in together after saying goodbye he smacked my ***. I was really taken back and hit him back lightly in his chest. It happened so fast and my other friend was in the car and didn't see this happen. I seriously don't know what to do because I value our relationship because he was always such a mentor to me. |

Posted: 02 Dec 2015 04:11 PM PST Today during one of my classes, my shoe got tangled with my friend's backpack keychain (dont ask how, thats just another story) and i looked at her and asked her to help me get it off and someone in our class was reading a document while she was struggling to get my shoelace off of her bag. It took her like 50 seconds and the whole class was basically staring at us and I felt bad for the girl reading because everyone was looking at my friend and I. After she got it loose, We started giggling for a bit and now I feel bad, hours later, because I distracted everyone in my class , including the teacher, from the lesson. I didnt mean for my shoelace to get stuck like that, but I dont know if I should apologize to my teacher for interrupting the lesson or not. |

I try to talk to people as much as I can but when I get to know someone a little bit I open up and I'm actually very talkative and loud. Anyway my classmates rarely invite me out with them. They were inviting me when school started but it was because everyone was still getting to know each other. Now my classmates are all friends and kind of split in 2 groups. I belong more to the quiet and calm group but even with them I feel like a weirdo and don't talk a lot. But the loud outgoing part of the class still invites the quiet ones out. They just don't invite me. My only real friend is A but I've already known her for 8. The other 2 girls I kind of talk to are B & C. For example: We were sitting in our class during the break. The funniest girl called D from the outgoing group came up to B and C (A wasn't in school that day) and asked them if they want to go out with the rest of the class after school. They said yes. The thing is that I was literally sitting 15cm away from them & I was listening to them the whole time but D didn't even notice I was there, God forbid ask me to go out with them. I assume that almost everyone from the class went out after school but I was the one that wasn't invited and went home right away. I don't know why this is happening. I can't make normal conversation( I ask a question, they answer and that's the whole conversation). I'm lonely, how do I fix this? |

I slept with his older brother. My friend was gone on a college trip and I was over at his house helping his mom with something and have she left for a while. His brother came home and we started talking and thing just started escalating and we end up having sex. We slept together 2 times while my friend was gone on his trip then we did a few times when he got back. The last time my friend walked in on me and his brother not knowing and he asked what we were doing but we told him nothing. He ended the friendship over the summer cuz well it was all my fault for being such a dumbass. I was stupid and clingy to him cuz he was the first friend that I had that was actually nice to me and treated me well and I kinda got out of hand by texting him too much and being a dumbass. I apologized 3 times because I don't like making people upset and angry and I felt bad for what I did cuz of the consequence. I'm not gay so don't get any ideas. I was dating over summer break. She was beautiful but sadly didn't work out cuz of distance and I miss her :'( but it's whatever. Anyways every time that he sees me walking or something I notice him looking at me. I look away of course cuz he betrayed me over the summer when my crush rejected me in the same day that i was btoken hearted and needed someone to cheer me up. I was devestated and broken hearted. She is just too damn awesome and just perfect and I love her so god damn much. She said that we can only be friends I said fine. Posted: 02 Dec 2015 02:24 PM PST So, I joined this charity group, where people hang out but also try to raise money for the ones in need and stuff. We had our first meeting, and when I was there, I found out I was the youngest. Like, I'm still in high school, everyone else has a job already or is at least finishing college. However, I got along with them, they were really nice, and some even told me they thought I was older and stuff because apparently I seem really mature. Nevertheless, I still felt like I was really a baby compared to everyone else. And then I missed the next meeting because we said we were going to meet at one place but then, the last minute they informed us that we were to meet somewhere else, and they informed us about that over mail, and I overlooked the e-mail that said that and I went to the wrong meeting point. Anyways, I missed the second meeting, I appologized about it on the e-mail, and all but I still feel terribly stupid about it and really embarrased. Am I making too big of a deal about it? I feel like everyone is thinking: "Of course, she's the youngest, she's such a child, she's irresponsible and can't even read the mail carefully." I feel so terrible ... I'm not that much younger than everyone else, I'm 18, and the others are 20-30 years old. I actually was the only one who missed it :'( |

I have friends in school, I get along with a lot of people. A lot of people like me, and think I'm funny. I don't really have a best friend though, just people I like to talk to throughout the day. The closest person I have to a "best friend" is this girl I've known for a couple of years, but recently she got a boyfriend that she's always with. Even before they started dating, though, me and her never really hung out. I'm also friends with this other boy, but we don't have any classes this year together so we kinda drifted apart. Again, though, we didn't hang out before this year. My real best friend, the only person's house I really go to, is a kid I've known all my life pretty much. He lives an hour away, so I only see him once or twice a month on weekends. The last time I hung out with someone besides him was in like 7th grade. I don't really know what my problem is. I don't do any sports, it's not like I'm super busy. I just never really get invited to go to stuff, and I absolutely hate asking other people. (Maybe that's the problem?) I'm afraid they'll think I'm weird and reject me. I can tell my mom worries about me sometimes. My parents are divorced, and I stay with her most of the time. She knows that I just stay doing homework, playing video games, and playing with my dog most of the time. She doesn't know most of my friends from school, so I don't think she wants to embarrass me by asking if I even have any. -cont. It hasn't bothered me much up until a couple of weeks ago. I'm fine by myself or with other people. Right now, it's just the fact I feel like I'm missing something in my life, and I'll look back at my teenage years like they've been wasted. Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:00 PM PST (if it helps I'm a guy) Ok so basically this girl that I knew in 6th grade is now in my 8th grade class and when ever she talks to me she usually says something disrespectful or rude like today as I was walking in the hallway on my way to my class while I was talking to someone, then she popped out of nowhere and randomly said " oh my god I remember when you would talk about people behind there backs and you'd try to roast them when you'd get roasted yourself!" to be the bigger person I just laughed and said " haha I do get roasted don't I? but every since I've tried to stop roasting people, they've actually been nicer to me" then she continued on saying "oh my god you are not good" then I said " I know I am I'm always roasted" (whatever that was supposed to mean) anyways later on to calm her down I decided to apologize to her but I got her name confused with someone else (of course) and that ruined the moment and she started bringing up a time I got humiliated anyways I don't talk about people behind their backs, if I say anything about them I say it to them and if anything it's in a joking way and this isn't the only time she's been smart with me....Honestly I have no idea what I've done to her, I've never insulted her, never said anything to her and she was nice to me in 6th grade....why did she change? As a result there are people who I need to cut out of my life. These people are people whom I've spoken to numerous times about their poor treatment of me and the negativity that they bring to my life. I did this in hopes that our friendship could take a positive turn as well but none of them have. Despite the fact that I've told them I'm distancing myself and the reason why they ignore that there's an issue. So, if they aren't getting the message, is it wrong to simply stop associating with them? |
| Question: How can I stop thinking everyone hates me? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:40 PM PST I was bullied a lot by these girls who hated me for being fat/nerdy/weird from when I was 9 until 12. Since then I've had this strong fear everyone hates me. This holds me back a lot as I am too scared to make friends or pursue relationships. I feel like I am only annoying people by being around them, so I never sit near people or talk to them first. It's gotten worse in the last few weeks as these 2 girls I was friends with have been bullying me, saying they hate me etc when I've never been mean to them. |

Later that afternoon she messages me and tells me she took her bra off. Before she leaves she proceeds to show me her bra in her purse. This was a while back how can i bring it up or ask about it to see what she says? |
| Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:24 PM PST Today in gym I forgot to lock my locker yesterday and my friend stole my gym uniform and she just walked away I had to find it on my own then my other friend was like ____________ took it I had to change really fast cause I didn t want to be late then we were playing soccer and we had to get in groups of 4 and I went to my friends that one girl wasn t there then that girl walked up and they just took me out of the group we did Rock Paper Scissors and I lost after 1 game and all this boy who went to my school stood up for me but I just told him I d go. I had to go with the shy girls who don t talk I tried to talk to them so it wouldn t be so bad but they just talked in short answers so I am with that group for 3 more days and I see all my friends with _____________ having so much fun please help I am in 6th grade and a girl |

She always got upset when our friends drifted apart or joined new groups. Lately after telling get I've been diagnosed with a tumor she's been splitting away from me. I got sad about it and tried to hang out with her thinking it was lack if quality time but i don't think so anymore. I think she just got bored of me since she's used to having a large group of friends not just one person to always hang with. I'm not upset about it anymore but we go to the same clubs so it's awkward and upsetting a bit. My parents didn't really approve of her because of the way she treats me and I've noticed it it now. Im the side friend . So how do I get over it and start making new friends. |

Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:18 PM PST In my country we have polite adressing words to speak with someone older than you.We use terms like "sir" or "madame" and other words that can't be said in english...instead of saying "you" we say something more polite. The point is,I've been talking politely to someone I really want to be friend with,for some time now.We even went out for coffee once.I'm 20 years old and he's around 35.I sometimes mess up and combine the typical talk with the polite talk and nothing good comes out.It's hard to keep talking politely because I'm not used to. :( He achieved so many things until now and he deserves all the respect and that's why I keep talking politely to him,but I want to be his friend somehow. What should I do? He's the nicest man I've ever met and he's really kind,but I don't want to upset him in any way. |

Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:16 PM PST Yesterday, my guy friend and I were talking and we were talking about high school prom and how he went to his high school prom with his high school sweetheart and that I didn't attend mine because my boyfriend at the time went with my best friend instead of asking me. My guy friend said that if he knew me back when he was 18 (he's 27), he would've taken me to my high school prom. He did get kisses, but I thought it was really sweet. Then he asked me if I wanted to come upstairs and stay the night with him. We've kissed before so it was nothing new. We were laying next to one another and he was rubbing my cheek with his thumb, just being very romantic and then we kissed. Everything was magical, but we didn't go past kissing. We fell asleep and when I woke up this morning, he was downstairs in the kitchen making breakfast and I walked up behind him and said Thanks for wanting to take me to prom. I would've definitely said yes if we knew one another back then. He smiled and said As beautiful as you are, your boy-toy at the time was a jerk for taking your best friend and not you. We kissed and hugged, then I asked him what he was making and he said, blueberry pancakes for my beautiful best friend. We ate breakfast together and decided that we would just spend the day together. |

I was really confident until these 3 girls started bullying me when I was 9. They called me fat/loner/ugly/weird & told me they hated me. I became very shy & believed everything they said. I lost my friends. I was in a clique of girls from when I was 12 until last month. They were mean to me often but I was too scared to leave. They began bullying me, telling people to avoid me & writing horrible stuff online last month. Now I'm struggling to make friends. Im a nice person & fun person, but I am terrified of starting conversations & approaching people and texting them first. I always sit by myself. I feel like I'm annoying people by being around them. The thing is, when girls talk to me (and it's rare) it's only to get information, and never to know me better as a person. And with guys - oh my goodness! All they want me is for sex - they don't want to be my friend. So I don't have a friend circle at all. All of the friends in my Facebook friends list are people I've never met in my life. I don't know if the people think I'm weird or just a piece of **** that they wouldn't give the time of day to. |

Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:14 AM PST I try to make friends, and there are people i have fun with when we're together, but whenever they're not physically near me, they drop off entirely. No texting, calling, etc etc. If I want to be someones friend I always - Always- have to reach out to them or else I will never be talked too. I don't know what to do, because now every time I try to invite someone to hang out or anything, they always reject me and now i feel like I can't even put in the effort to ask anymore. I've become so reclusive and depressed because I don't know what to do anymore. Now I find myself trying to analyze everything I'm doing and saying, trying to not be too abrasive, but not be too shy, and try to give people space while still letting them know i'm here for them if they need me. Now i feel like i'm the "last resort" friend when they've got no one better to talk to.. Please any advice is helpful. |

He and I live in different states but we did meet in person in June and we had sex. He said I could come see him whenever I want. I tried to pay him for doing some work for me. He wouldn't take my money and told me that I would never have to worry about paying him for anything. That he would assist me with whatever I need. He tells me that I should go back to school and educate myself. I plan to go back and see him in January for two or three days. Would two days be enough |

I stopped sleeping with him when I met someone who actually wanted a relationship with me - who was in great shape and took care of himself! My friend saw photos this guy and respected my relationship. However, now that I'm single months later, this older man wants to hang out with me again, but I'm soooooo not attracted to him anymore. He's a good man, very smart and resourceful but I have no want to sleep with him. He's invited me to help him decorate his house and I really do like conversation with him, as we have a lot of friends in common and he knows about a lot of things going on in my community, so we connect on a mental level. I still DON'T want to go to his house so he can get his claws on me. How can I say it nicely that I don't want to sleep with him anymore - and leave out that he's physically repulsive to me after I've been with a guy who looked like a model!!! Anyway to turn him down in a diplomatic way??? |

Ok for new year we made a deal with our class, we study together 8 years and we never have been together somewhere as a class. So should i go with my class for new year or stay home? The problem is because my mom gonna be alone home, since my sister is going out with her friends too, and if i go for new year with my friends, my mom would be home alone and i don t want her for new year to be alone stucked in 4 walls.. Im on half-mind.. Any solution? I know i can t choose both.. |

I lost a ton of friends, jobs, people thought of me as "crazy" I finally decided to get help. I've been clean for 5 years now I'm 29. I graduated college & I'm now completing my masters degree this is the happiest I've ever been. I moved a year ago to Charlotte NC from San Francisco. When I decided to move I felt like I wanted to leave the "old me" behind & anyone who at any time knew I was involved with drugs I cut off. I shut down my facebook page I just wanted to start completely over & put the past behind me. I'm not sure if this was a healthy thing to do though. A lot of these ppl were good friends of mine who had no involvement in my drug use & helped me tremendously with my recovery. I don't mention to ANYONE my struggle with drug use. I never bring it up to new friends & I tend to put up a "front" that I was straight edge & never drank much or anything. Is this healthy for me? Or should people know about my past I'm just embarrassed about it & how I acted while on drugs |

Posted: 02 Dec 2015 08:55 AM PST Basically my friend (hayley) and this boy (luke) have been on and off for about a year now but they have never gone out, at parties and nights out they sometimes kiss other people too. Anyway, about 3 months ago a guy outside my group of friends had a party at which this boy (luke) was at and somehow we ended up kissing in the condition that no one outside the party would find out and in fairness no one has as in none of my friends know including Hayley yet the weekend after it happened luke did tell one of his good friends who happens to be in university with me about us and he jokingly said it to me a while ago. I know it has been 3 months and no one has really found out and no one might but should I tell Hayley in case it ever comes out? Ps. Me and Hayley used to be quite close a few years back but we have drifted apart lately! Peace and love xxxx |
