Question: Why did his happen to my Bestfriend? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 05:15 PM PST Me and my Bestfriend have known each other for 2 years and the other night she opened up to me. She told me when she was 12, she was raped anally by a guy who was older of course! And she didn't tell anyone until years later because she was scared to. She told her mom and me. So I wanna know if she could be lying about this? Does girls usually get raped there? |
Question: Will my guy friend think I'm crazy if I text this? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 05:07 PM PST I texted my friend 3x within 3 months to hang out. He kept saying yes even After I said - if you don't wanna hang, say so. But he hasn't gotten back to me about a date he's free. I realize he's blowing me off and I'm upset. I might lose his friendship afterwards but I want to honestly tell him my feelings with this text: "I am shocked at how inconsiderate and self-involved you are for not being honest with me. I don't expect a lot from people but I have a lot of patience, and for you to completely blow me off with no intermittent communication after saying several times that you would be willing to catch up, makes you a rude person." My objective is to get him to realize he's being rude. |
Question: I don't really have friends and I don't know what to do about it...? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 05:05 PM PST After highschool I pretty much lost all of my friends because everyone went different ways. Now I feel as if I have friends but they have better friends and I am always a second choice. No one really thinks of me first to hangout and I get left out. I work at home and I am starting school soon... I just need help with how to meet new people and not friends who are just going to fade away? |

Question: Facebook friends help? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:42 PM PST This may sound cheesy but I need help in a decision. I'm in high school. There are kids I know that are nice that I sort of want to facebook with however there is one thing standing in my way. I created a self policy earlier in September that I would not friend anyone from school unless they were no longer going to my school. You see middle school was a bad experience so I guess I'm afraid something similar could happen, but I do want to be friends with these kids and the one thing standing in between is my "policy." What should I do? Should I take a chance? |
Question: Is it possible to reunite with people in college? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:31 PM PST I've had friends that I knew a long time ago, I haven't talked to them ever since I moved high schools. It's been two years, I'm pretty sure all my old friends forgot about me. My city is pretty small and everyone plans to go into the same college, so I will see them in college, but I'm wondering if it's possible we could all reunite again. Same goes with old lovers? Is college a place where people could reunite with old friends and lovers? |
Question: How do I comfort my mom after her friend died? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:18 PM PST About my family: I am 14 years old, and my mom is 52. I have two brothers (23/17) and one sister (20). My mom is married to my biologically father but while he 'loves' us, he has a plethra of neglected mental health issues that lead him to express this through verbal abuse and threats of physical. About the friend: For the past 14 years, my moms best friend has been fighting cancer. Over the past few days, she was moved to hospis and they're now just waiting for her to die. My mom just headed out to see her best friend after her husband sent her a text saying 'come now, she probably wont be here tomorrow' How do I comfort my mom??? (Note: She is very religious-- Catholic) I really need help here, I knew the woman who is dieing my whole life and I loved her, but my mom really needs someone, and my entire family have there own live and/or are assholes. PLEASE HELP!!! |
Question: My friend gets jealous when I hang out with other friends.? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:11 PM PST So my friend and I we go to separate colleges but we FaceTime a ton. Well I recently saw her with some of my other friend. Well I figured since I haven't talked to my other friends in a while I would talk to her and see how she was doing. Anyways the friend that I FaceTime a lot told me I gave her the cold shoulder and I was rude to her cause I was spending more time with the other friend who I see less. How should I proceed |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:09 PM PST My best friend is staying over at my house till January 2nd. We haven't seen each other in a year. I was really looking forward to spending 1 on 1 time with her. Since she has been here she has spent half her time facetiming other friends. Even when we do stuff she has them in the background on FaceTime. The first two days I just ignored it but honestly im starting to get really irritated. I can't have private conversations or just have her full attention. I don't know if im being selfish or not and I don't want to say anything either. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:04 PM PST so i asked today if my friend could come over at 3:30 and she said that she could but she needs to leave at 6, and i misread the text and i thought she was coming over at 6:00 so i thought that i had time, so i took a shower, and while i was showering she came and rang the door bell which i didn't hear, so she left and i took her and hour to drive to my house and back so she's REALLY angry at me and so is her dad. this girl is a really good friend of mine, and she's really angry at me. i called her and i apologized and told her dad that i was really sorry, but she's still really angry at me. i cried my heart out, and i feel really really bad. i don't know what to do, i have a major head ache, and i need advise. thank you |
Question: People who don't consider you a friend? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:02 PM PST I'm a woman 27, Everytime I try to make friends with people they never call me or text me, and when they do decide to call/text it's to babysit ect.. People say I have a nice personality and that im sweet but how come no one every asks me how I'm doing? It would be nice to know that someone cares about me. And I'm talking about women my age. I tend to be quiet and a room full of people maybe they think it's weird.. I don't call/text people all the time because I don't want them to think I'm clingy but by the time they do decide to write me back it's a one word sentence or they don't feel compelled to want to talk. I would like to think I'm decent person but I guess you can't please everyone. Have you or are you exeperiecing the same thing? Am I overreacting? |
Question: I feel like I m not living my life.? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 04:02 PM PST I am 17 years old and in high school. I go to a school 45 minutes away from me so a lot of my friends live far away and don t usually ask me to hang out. I am an only child and I feel so bored all the time. I m very studious and am always doing my homework but am tired of sitting at home on the weekends when I am finished while people are always out and about going on dates, going out with friends, etc. I also havent gotten my license yet.. but still feel like people dont bother to even invite me to anything I feel like I haven t started "living" my life yet and am hoping that when I get to college that I will start too because being this bored and lonely all the time is not how I want to live my life. Any tips? |

Question: Am i being a annoying friend? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 03:40 PM PST We are both 20 and go to college together. We are currently on break and have been for about a week and a half now. At school we are together everyday and are really good friends, but recently we have hung out less. Before we left for break i tried hanging out with him multiple times, he kinda blew me off everytime, and came up with excuses. Now that we are home i almost never hear from him, we only live 30 minutes from each other which is almost nothing compared to my other friends. I try to stay in contact and send him a text about sports or something but he will send short response like he is to busy to text. I asked to chill on new years and go downtown, he then said he wasnt a fan of the idea, then the discussion ended. Recently i lent him a grand and im a bit worried about the idea now as he is acting like he could care less about hanging out with me. I understand that he is home and wants to chill with his home friends, but to barely even text me back, when i try to make plans he acts like he could careless. We have 3 weeks of break left so idk whether to just give up? Or should i ask to hang out again? Any advice would help |
Question: My childs best friend got a laptop for Christmas? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 03:35 PM PST This is a 10 year old. My daughter is upset about the laptop because she said her friend doesn't want to spend any time with her anymore. She just wants to be on the computer. She then told me she doesn't deserve it because she has a computer already and is a horrible child with all D's and F's. So not only is my child jealous, she feels abandoned and has a friend who mis-behaves but still wants her around. How would you help her cope? I really don't know why they are friends. Thanks. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 03:09 PM PST I told my mom and she called her white trash. I don't know what that term means. I do know that she is married to a Hispanic man and has like maybe 10 or more kids. They live in a really small townhouse and she seems to be in a bad mood all the time. She is very rude and mean to her kids. Very strict too. She yells at me and tells me to get off her lawn. I used to be friends with her daughter but she told me she wasn't allowed to see me anymore. It was because her mom told her too. I was like okay but kind of sad. She told me how much she hates her mom. Her mom makes me feel uncomfortable. I can hear her whispering about me and talking about me. She stares at me and gives me dirty looks. Our family is a nice, typical family and we didn't do anything to them. My mom doesn't know her I just ride my scooter in their neighborhood or talk my dog for a walk there, Her daughter goes to my school and we talk there, but not after school anymore. We are good friends and we've never fought before. I told my mom and she said she would talk to her, but i didn't want her too because i would be embarrassed. What should I do? I still want to be friends with Sophie. |

My objective is to get him to realize he's being rude. But is it too aggressive? |
Question: Why did he unfollow me? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 03:01 PM PST I recently made an instagram. I followed this one boy that has been in a bunch of my classes and he followed back. when I uploaded a picture just now for the first time, he unfollowed me? I don't care about him honestly but I wanna know why. edit: No, I don't. it's just kind of offensive in my opinion & I don't like when people do things without a reason. |
Question: Where do I go from here? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 02:57 PM PST I'm Sky, and I'm 18. But I guess it's always been building up, but that one night in October, I just felt uncomfortable in my current situation, so I abandoned everything I had. My friends were almost ignoring me, my lifestyle was just bland, it was slowly growing into a serious depression, so I started a brand new life in another city. It was like the first two months I started over, I felt so great. But now, it's just so complicated here, and it's like I miss the life I abandoned. I just I never really released how good I had it, but yeah. I don't know. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 02:44 PM PST This girl and I are , in our late 20's , from same country and we attend this post-grad school . We're really close and we talk a lot and she shares so many stuff with me. She had hard time last month and we got closer at that time. I was there whenever she needed me and she kinda sensed that i really like her more than a friend. I helped her move her furniture to/from self-storage that we kept her furniture while she was without apt. We might hang out or even cook together but never been physical or got closer to each other. Recently, I noticed she might say stuff like ( I don't date ..) but i think she felt that i really like her and she tries to let me know that i'm just a friend. Btw in our culture we don't have premarital relationships and she knows that I never dated before. What really disappointed me was that she doesn't answer my text/calls or may take like a day to reply back with a text, although she always answers other guys so quickly even while we were carrying her boxes. One time, she said she was free so as we were hanging out she wanted to call her teacher who just broke up with his girlfriend to join us and i advised her not to, but i felt she was using me just to ask him out and to give him the green light to ask her out. Her sister is visiting her from overseas and she told me that she'd let me meet her. I was thinking about inviting them to a lunch/dinner but i really not sure if that would makes me more as a friend or what. I felt that i should give her space and leave her alone, but again last wednesday she said she'd let me meet her sister. so shall i take them out to a dinner, ask them if they want to go somewhere or leave her to call me if she feels like it. |

Question: Please help me decide...? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 02:07 PM PST My "friend" s mom got me and her tickets to meet Justin Bieber for Christmas. All is wonderful, except this "friend" of mine gives me extreme anxiety. She makes my stomach turn and she makes me so nervous all the time. I would absolutely love to meet Justin, I ve been supporting him since he first started out on YouTube. I ve been to his concert before and I would love to go again. We would have 3rd row floor seats and hang out with him before the show in a lounge, but I m scared that she s gonna make me miserable the whole time. Do you think I should go and say "whatever, I m meeting Justin and I don t care if she tries to ruin it", or should I be worried and not go. Please answer. |

Question: CONSIGLI PER CONVINCERE I GENITORI? |
Question: How to stop people from being in my business? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 12:56 PM PST I'm the type to be very low-key and not tell anyone anything about me or how I spend my time. I live in a very small town where gossip spreads quickly. Last April I ended up getting an MIP during school hours and got suspended for a week. I told no one at school what happened. As far could tell, only the people who got in trouble with me knew about the incident. But by the time I came back basically the entire school (400 kids) knew. Everyone was sympathetic because everyone is 420 friendly, but I really hated that people knew anything about me, I don't care about anyone here. The same thing happened to a friend, only the whole school knew about it before her parents knew. I also notice that people call my mom about the stuff they think they see me doing and I end up getting in trouble due to assumptions people make. Is there a way to prevent this? |

Question: Why do people hate me for being asexual? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 12:10 PM PST Hi I'm a 14 year old girl and I've never found anyone attractive or anything and I'm just plainly disgusted by anything sexual. A lot of people judge me in school because I'm asexual, I do like boys but I'm just not interested in that kind of stuff. I think life is more about understanding and support then actually love. Personally I don't believe in love at all I think it's just a big fantasy. Why do people hate me for being asexual? |
Question: Is my best friend being jerk? If so, should I continue to be friends with her..? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 11:59 AM PST We been friends for 2 years now, and things were going good. When I get going to middle school, it's getting a bit bad but still ok. Now today she is being a ***** now... When I say something, it always have to be a problem though. For example, one time I told her I was interested in science and I was best at it. Then she said I should take all pre-ap classes now (Pre Advanced Placment), all of them... I was like "But there are certain subjects that I'm not interested nor good at ", but then she said that I'm not good at science then. I mean wtf is up with her, did anything happen? Before that, there was a girl I met online. She was a friend of my best friend though, she said she was having problem doing her math homework. I said that I would be happy to help her, but then my best friend randomly kicked me out because she wanted to help with her. I then called her and this is what we said: Me: I only wanted to help and now you being rude... Friend: She doesn't need you, I'm gonna help her Me: But she accepted my request so I could help her! So stop lying! Friend: Lol, now your just like your little brother. Annoying... Me: Lol, how could you say that. You said you wanted my brother to die then hung up. Friend: I don't care, so shut the **** up. Bye! Then she hung up without me finishing, I'm a bit pissed and angry at her right now. I don't know if she's either being a bastard or a judger, but should I be friends with her...b |
Question: I need help with friend..? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 11:53 AM PST My friend is annoying and mean. The meanest things he has done to me is when we broke a pinata, he had lots of candy. I just took one from him, and he pushed my and elbowed my stomach. The other one is when he knocked on our door, I opened the main lock, then as I opened the chain lock, he opened the door, and pushed so hard that the chain broke. My mom got mad and blamed me. My friend was laughing. The other one is when my friend was talking to my mom, he keeps yelling at her. There are more stories, but it takes too much time to explain. I'm so glad I have him 2 bruses when I faught with him at sparring class on taekwondo. So my question is, What can I do to get rid of my friend? If I talk to his mom, my friend would just mess things up. By the way, we are filipino. My parents know that I hate my friend. |
Question: How to have fun during my teen years? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 11:52 AM PST I'm a guy and 15 turning 16 soon. I go to private school, have a good amount of trusty friends, and live with both my parents, and there's nothing I'd really want to change. But except that I've just been bored. I've never really had opportunities to rebel or do something on a weekend. All my friends really talk about is school, classes, homework, tests, they always go to class on time, and don't really seem open to do anything fun. And it's really getting to me. You won't be able to get away with ditching during lunch at my school, and I'm an only child so I have my parent's full attention which is all great, but sometimes I don't want to be constantly under the radar and have a little fun in my life??? Never been to parties or started driving. I haven't kissed a girl either, and am not really interested in anyone at school either and vice versa. A little more background, I'm a late bloomer, and very short, light, and behind for my age. I feel like I'm around 13 and interested in girls as young as even 12 to around my age or ten years older. Is this normal?? With all of this I just feel a little out of place, and eating, sleeping, and pooping the best years of my life away. What can I do for the new year to have more fun in my life, to feel more like my age, and I guess fulfill something I feel that's missing. |
Question: I understand it's the holidays but....::? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 11:48 AM PST I haven't seen my friend since mid November. We live in the same town & it just seems like every time we would try to get together she couldn't. I'm going to be alone on New Years Eve. I know it's her birthday so I offered to treat her. Her response "Absolutely not I get very nervous driving NYE with all the drunks on the road." Then she said maybe we could do dinner but she wouldn't know until 4 or 5PM on NYE if she'd be able to make it: I just kinda feel like our friendship is a 1 way street here. I understand it's the holidays people are super busy! Am I overreacting? I just feel like it's been over a month we live in the same town & she couldn't spare an hour or two to get together? |

Posted: 27 Dec 2015 11:34 AM PST Hi❤️😊 , a close friend of mind (well was close) started going quiet on me, then started acting cold, then started chatting **** about me (over the course of three weeks). We ve had arguments before and she has acted like a *****, but this attitude was out of the blue. Recently she s started coming back, like acting nice to me and etc. There was no apology, and no talking through of the situation. She s even invited me to her 17th birthday but I honestly feel like this is all some sort of act...should I confront her and ask her why she acted the way she did? Or should I just leave it? |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 11:20 AM PST Last night, my best friend, her boyfriend, and his best friend slept over at my house with no parents. We didn't hook up or have sex or ANYTHING. We just ordered pizza, watched movies, and played cod. This morning, my bff left earlly, and about half an hour after she left, her boyfriend got a call from her aunt (legal guardian). My bff's aunt told him that we're not allowed to hangout with her anymore and that she would be contacting our parents about this. She then hung up on him. It's so sexist, like just because they're guys doesn't mean s**t. NONE OF US DID ANYTHING! Not even my best friend and her bf. Even worse, my best friend's boss called her aunt and told her that two strange guys picked her up from work last night. Those "strange guys" are her friends. Should I go over to my best friend's house and talk to her aunt about this? What should I do? We're all 16 by the way. |

Question: Please help me do the right thing here.? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 10:19 AM PST My job at work is to install and maintain the computer systems. A fellow worker and friend ask me to go to her house and get a computer she bought on ebay working. When I got there, she was not home but her teenage daughter was. My guess is the daughter is about 16 years old. While I was working on the computer, the daughter's boyfriend came by. After a while, I heard noises from a bedroom and it was oblivious the daughter and boyfriend were having sex. After I completed getting the computer running I had to walk by the bedroom to leave. They were still having sex and did not see me as I left. I know I am NEVER going back to that house. One side of me says I should I just keep my mouth shut. What happened is none of my business. If I tell the mother, probably the daughter will deny she was having sex or say I wanted to have sex with her and then I am in big trouble. The other side of me says that if something is not done I predict my coworker is going to be a grandmother a lot sooner than she wants to be. Should I tell her what happened? Is it possible that the mother knows what is going on and would be embarrassed and/or mad if I mentioned what I saw. Moms, if this was your daughter, how would you want me to handle this? Please help me do the right thing here. |
Question: Friendship/making friends advice? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 10:08 AM PST So I currently have 5 good friends. I like them, they're nice people and we hang out a lot. They all consider me one of their best friends. I have known one for 7 years and the others for 3/4. For me though, I just can't find anyone that I can really connect with. I find it easy to make friends, but at school there is no one I can see myself becoming close with as there doesnt seem to be anyone with a personality close to mines. I'd like someone that's up to try new things with me, thats outgoing and can stand up for me. Where we can hang out often and always have a ton to talk about. I can do some of those things with my current friends but there just isnt that connection there. I really only have one friend I have that connection with but he lives halfway across the world.. It really saddens me.. I wish I could have this connection with my friends now but I just dont.. Please give me advice or just speak about your own experiences. I'm 16 by the way. Thank you. |
Question: Staying home on New Year Eve? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 10:05 AM PST Friends are begging me to party with them on NYE. Just graduated college, so my main focus right now is employment, and figuring out my next move. I just think its better to put the money I would spend on going out, towards saving for graduate school, etc. I ve already told them, No! They re still trying to argue as to why I SHOULD go out. Any advice? |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 10:03 AM PST My dad has moved to Spain so he is out there this year for Christmas so he sent out my presents. I opened them and everything was fine but I later checked my social media and seen that my dad had brought my step sister a £900 computer and then the most expensive thing I got was my £70 trainers. I'm not fussed that she got that as I have one myself that my mum brought me for Christmas last year but I annoyed at that he spent about £200 worth of presents I do admit her family chipped in to help but still he spent way more on her then on me. His reason is that she moved out to Spain and lost all her friends but I can see via social media that she has made loads of new friends whereas I have lost my dad and now only see him once or twice a year. Am I wrong to feel this way or is it ok?? |

Question: Why do I have to chase my friends (and people in general) around? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 09:58 AM PST Ever since elementary school, I've always felt like I had to go out of my way to be friends with people. I'm in high school now, and I don't have a whole lot of friends because I got tired of hanging out with people who didn't genuinely care about me.I got tired of that feeling of being pushy. I have this one friend who's a freshman in college. she's at home for break and doesn't have a whole lot to do, but I asked her about hanging out and she didn't respond. I haven't messaged her to see if she would want to hang out, and she hasn't asked me about it at all. I feel like I'm always the last choice. I'm only chosen when nobody else is available. Maybe I'm just selfish, but I want to feel like I actually matter. I'm going to college next year, and I plan on getting really involved. I just hope things will be different. Right now I live in a small city (it's basically a town). I don't know if that would have anything to do with it. Basically all my life I've never really felt wanted. Sorry for the rant. |
Question: Are my friends outgrowing me? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 09:55 AM PST Okay I have two friends that are like sisters to me(let's call them Jennifer and Laura and let's call me Andrea) but I feel like they're outgrowing me. Today while I was group skyping with them, one said to the other "Jennifer can we go out? I'm tired of going out with Andrea" I'm front of me! And they keep doing things without me and not telling me things that they tell each other. Are they getting bored of me? Are they outgrowing me? I don't want to lose them. This happened before but I tried splitting them up (yeah this was wrong but I had no choice) and it half worked. Not really. Then I tried making them not talk to eachother by talking to one of them more often and not letting them talk alone. Does this mean they're ARE outgrowing me? |
Question: Does anyone know if what my daughter told me is true? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 09:52 AM PST I work in an office of 26 people. I am the only woman in the office. The guys I work with are all great guys. I really enjoy being with them. They had a "take your daughter to work day" and I brought my 15 year old daughter. She liked the day in the office with me but what she liked most was talking to my co workers about sports. She is a big sports fan and so are most of them. What was surprising to me is they liked talking to her about sports. There must be some bond between sports fans. Some of the guys had extra tickets to sporting events and they invited us to go with them. These were tickets we could not afford as they were in the expensive boxes at the arena. We all had a great time and my daughter just loved talking to these guys about sports. After we got home from one of these games, my daughter asked me why I hadn't asked some of these guys for a date. She said they were great looking guys and they were hot and sexy. (I am not sure I want my 15 year old daughter knowing about hot and sexy. Isn't that too young to be using that term?) I told her it is usually the guys that ask the girls for a date. She told me that the guys had told her I was great looking and would like to date me but they were just to shy to ask. She said girls waiting for a guy to ask them for a date was SO IN THE PAST. Girls ask guys for a date all the time now. Anyone know if that is true? |

Question: Was my girlfriend giving me a compliment? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 09:44 AM PST I was at a party with my friends when my girlfriend told everyone that I had a great day at the golf course. Someone asked my girlfriend what she thought was the reason for my great golf game that day. She said "It's because I kissed his balls before the game". She got a HUGE laugh from the people at the party. Somebody asked her if she also stroked my putter. She said I can't. It is too big to get my hands around. Another big laugh. Some wise guy asked her if she would kiss his balls before the next golf game. She said, I can't. Your wife told me you don't have any. She got an even bigger laugh. Some gal ask her if I ever score a hole in one. She said NO it ALWAYS takes him more than one try to get it in the hole. When he finally does, he yells FOUR. That is really bragging. It is more like 2. People were REALLY LAUGHING hard at what she was saying All of our friends seem to REALLY enjoy it. Do you think they know she is not talking about golf? |
Question: What would your reason be to ignore someone but still follow them on social media? Posted: 27 Dec 2015 09:43 AM PST I m a youtuber and I m always trying to look to make new friends who do the same thing I do. It makes the job easier and better to have people who understand what it s like. These people I talk to usually already have a lot of youtube friends. However, when I follow them or befriend them on facebook, they accept or follow back. When I decide to message them, I would see that they viewed and just ignore me. What could be a reason for this? I m starting to take this personally because it happens a lot. And why are they still following me? Some of them would answer and then suddenly just ignore me. I don t get it. |
