My girlfriend and I both agreed that price shouldn t be a big deal for the engagement ring when the time comes, but I really would love to get her one that s a little pricier than she would expect because...well... quality! So, as a college student, what do you think an appropriate amount would be for a ring?

I've had a casual relationship with this older man. It started when I was 21 in college. Now I'm 24 and I'm doing really good. I have a full time job and I'm making money. I just bought my car and I will be moving alone soon. He keeps harassing me and telling me Merry Christmas this and that and I told him that I'm moving to a nice place and all he said was " Great" He'd ask questions about where do I get money being a single woman and his and that and it's starting to get annoying. He's in his early 40's and no I've never taken money from him so this isn't the case of a "Sugar Daddy "

i literally have NO friends (my choice) so no bridal party. he wants best man/groomsmen. not close to his family, and no females on my side (and my mom and i aren't that close) so what can i do? (eloping is out of question)

I went to a formal wedding & that was over 30 years ago. Now, in October I will be at a formal wedding and I will be the groom. Okay, at the wedding I was at, there were 2 ushers & I was one usher. Is there normally 2 ushers? Only one? Ushers are optional?

We don't want traditional. We don't walk walking down the aisle huge ceremony. Has anyone done something like this is there an officiant who does this. I guess the way I see it id like our family all around us someone declaring we arr married maybe read vowels, short and sweet. Then the party starts. No wedding party no times for this and that. Is this a bad idea.
