Sometimes I might catch her staring at me when we're in class. She then started to talk about how boyfriends here are supposed to pay for their girlfriends and don't let them pay for anything, and how they supposed to pay for their girlfriends every time they go out no matter what and how they supposed to support them. I said that's impossible and that after couple of dates they split up the receipt, but she said both of her ex-roommates said so and she's so sure about that. I told her that's unrealistic as I always read that their life is sharing. Why she one time suggests to go out with one of my classmates, like this guy who's a player to go hiking, while staring at me as if she's trying to see a reaction from me, even though, she tries to avoid him when we're in school .Also,why she always says that her teacher wants someone to talk to, and that he broke her heart to see him struggling with the break up. When we get closer i start caring abut her, so i thought that might made her think she's too good for me.but again she texts me alot

I never have done this before. So my friend and I were at this party and we met these two guys. Well, one guy I already knew because he comes around our "squad" sometimes and the other one was his friend. I started a dog meeting group. I left it cuz they did not go by their true cause of Rescue and had illegial back yard breeders in it. So I left it. I only talk to 3 people and they are still in group. It furiates me. Knowing all the issues I had. Is it childish I don t want them to talk to my enemies? I feel like I don t want them as friends cuz they remind me of that fake group and fake Rescue people.

I've known my best friend for about a year now, and she has really opened up to me. Lately she's told me that she's going to "restrict her eating" to one meal a day. She always had low self esteem, and always cried about her life. I DONT WANT HER TO BE ANOREXIC!!! That's not all, she has depressing thoughts, she's suicidal, she doesn't believe in therapists or medication, I try to convince her that's she's beautiful (which she is), and that therapy might work, and also that's she's skinny (which she is, 12 years old and 99 lbs) and also just now she told me that everyone in her family of 7 started blaming her for everything, and everyone was throwing insults at her and they said that she's so selfish, and I just need her to be happy and not so depressed. I'm a senior in highschool and all the people I hang out around just feel temporary. I just hang with them so I'm not alone. Do you make better friends after high school? And I'm not going to college I'm more than likely going to learn a trade.

Okay so for two years I have even in love with my best friend, we speak every day about absolutely everything and they are the one person I can tell everything to. Shortly ago they told me they were in love with me and I told them how I felt and we started a relationship. It didn't last long due to us not wanting the friendship to be ruined. so we met in 7th grade. We both have very similar personalities and we just clicked really well. We also had another friend who I am still close with. We would always sit next each other and we would work on projects for school together and that was the way it was for the rest of the year, we were close friends. Then 8th grade rolled around and we had no classes together, but we always seemed to manage to find time to talk before classes. And now we are in 9th grade. We have most of our classes together. She talked to me and we had our own little space at a mostly empty table. Then one day she sat at another table with the cooler people that we had never really been involved with before. She didn't tell me ether. So I sat next to her and these people. From there on forward we sat with them. And over the 2 months we have been doing so, she has become very distant with me. I try to talk to her and she ignores me and if she does answer me it is after multiple attempts of trying to get her attention, we never work together on projects anymore, every time I ask she would rather work alone or doesn't think we are supposed to work together even though we are, and she always keeps our conversations as brief as possible. I also made some new friends I sit with. The other week she started sitting with the even cooler people and ignoring me even more, they also don't even really like her. But she used to be so nice to me and always talked to me and now it's just the opposite, what should I do?

My "friends" who barely contact me had a party and invited me. We were all doing mdma, but i was kind of anxious to do it as i didnt want to embaress myself by taking too much. Iv had some good experiences on this drug, but this time was weird. First of all the friend gave everyone a bomb but when he handed me one i noticed mine had a small pen mark on it which was weird. I pretended to take it as i wanted to take it later but then all my friends invited me upstairs to see a room, they asked me if it was cool and then one of them was like ok lets go back down, and i was like ok. My boyfriend & I have been together for more than two years now. We are currently in a LDR, but have managed to make it work thus far. He's recently gotten into smoking weed, and has stopped talking to me as much as he smokes weed with his friend in his room all the time. He hangs up on me to go hangout with the same friend, tells me he's going to call me and doesn't because he's with this person. I m 14 and every weekend I ask my friends if they want to hang out (and do whatever). They always either say no cause they are going out with their family!!!! Or they say yes and then cancel 30 minutes before I m going to meet them. I m so so bored cause every weekend I m just at home on my own. I always ask them to do stuff with me and I feel like there s no point in making the effort. I feel so so down and depressed about it cause I never go out. I would try and make new friends but everyone is settled into their friendship groups. And I don t wanna abandon my friends as I love them but they are just so dull.

So my friend group sits together at lunch and stuff and we also have s group chat and sometimes they just all start getting mad at me and saying something I said was mean. I don't understand how what I'm saying is mean and with them all freaking out on me it just makes me want to cry because I feel alone. This might be long, but please read. Really depressed. My friend has the strictest parents. We were texting and the week before she was acting sorta liked she liked me more than a friend. So I asked her if she was straight. Since we were texting with messaging, I wasn't sure if she had read it or deciding on what to answer. I said hello, and 4 minutes she replied saying that her dad had taken the phone from her. I panicked and she said that her parents didn't know that meant. After a week, she replied on kik saying that her parents found out what it meant and that I can't go to her house or talk or even LOOK at her. I really liked her parents and now they think im a bad person who needs to burn in hell for knowing these kinds of things. (We're both 16....) We were the best of friends (We still are but she hardly replies on kik bc her parents think that she shouldn't talk to anyone.) Shes now moving to Michigan next year. What am I supposed to do? I miss her so much.

I'm 17 and I've realized that my three closest friends are complete opposites of me. Two classmates had organized a Secret Santa event. Few weeks ago, one of them asked what I want (because someone asked for tips). So basically my roommate is a total *****. She plays xbox, skypes people and plays computer games until 3 a.m. every single night. She opens all of the windows in 30 degree weather while I am sleeping or turns the heat all the way up. I politely asked her to stop this and it's even in our roommate agreement that she has to ask before changing the temperature but she keeps doing it. My RA basically told me that I am insane and I can't ask her to stop her annoying computer and xbox stuff at night because that's unreasonable. It's been about a week since I did my last interview. I had two and they both went really well. They were both at least one hour and i got complimented by both managers. My parents, as much as I love them, happen to have very different interests than me when it comes to hobbies. I knew this guy in freshmen year of high school, and ironically I use to think that he was the funniest guy ever. But ever since last year I got so sick and tired of him that I can't even stand the site of him. He's one of those guys who thinks he's the funniest guy on earth when really he's desperately reaching for the obvious joke that you can tell that he stole from the internet. One day, this guy just went too far. We have a female friend in our group who has this condition where she can't be scared by anyone. This idiot KNOWS about her condition but still scared her from behind anyway because he thought it would be funny. This girl broke down crying and he was just skipping around laughing at her. We all had to yell at him for 5 minutes before he finally decided to apologize, and even then it was just half assed and you could tell he didn't mean it. Then she said to him, "You stay the **** away from me," one thing led to another and the next thing I know she started strangling him. Then a group of people came to break them up so that there wouldn't be a fight. This guy kept screaming things like, "Put me down! This ***** is dead!" (BTW She totally would've kicked his ***.) So they both got suspended and now SHE'S on probation because HE's suing HER!!! It just makes me SO MAD that this guy needs to pay!!! He's annoyed me for SO MANY YEARS and now he came after one of my friends, enough is enough! Call me sick all you want, but I want to DESTROY HIM! How can I do it?

There are these 2 friends who are a couple I've been hanging out with since high school. We are all about 25 now and I try to avoid them most of the time. The rest of our old crew is cool. I don't mind hanging with the 2 once in a while with other people but I never hit them up just to hang. They seem to still have that teenager mentality. They don't have jobs, still live with their parents, and don't go to college. They always seem to have money though because their parents are loaded. But even having a conversation with them annoys me now. All they do is gossip and spread rumors about people. Some of the people they talk about are like 17 years old so I don't even know how they even know of them in the first place. They always try to hit me up to chill but I always ignore them. I don't know why but I feel like an asshole. Also if they ever run into a nerdy kid they went to high school with they will still make fun of them for no reason. They are just too immature for me.

This is something I never thought I'd encounter until I was like 16 or 17, but I'd like help. I'm an eighth grader (13 years old) and some of my friends are doing drugs, from what I know "lean" or "purple drank" and marijuana, the latter I don't consider that big a deal. But lean has codeine in it and I'm really concerned about these kids and I don't know what to do in this situation. Any help is greatly appreciated.

We are much older in college, he's still in high school and everytime I come over he greets me but then sometimes can be borderline rude. Me and my best friend have always been more like sisters, really. I've always thought she was my sister from another mother. Ok, I want to make it clear from the beginning...I did not flirt with him or something, I don't feel anything for him. He's just a close friend, but nothing more. The thing is, I think she is kind of jealous (idk why????). I tried to explain her there's nothing more than friendship between me and him, but she's angry with me. She feels betrayed. And now I feel really guilty, but I can't stop talking to him all of a sudden just because of that...I would hurt him and I'm not that kind of person who hurts people without a reason...and after that, I would feel bad too. But also, I want to gain my best friend's trust again and make her understand I am not trying to make any moves on him. How can I make then both happy without hurting any of them? If I keep talking to him, my best friend will be angry with me forever, but if I stop talking to him I would feel horrible and I would make him feel horrible too. I can't do that. What can I do? Edit: I tried to put myself in her situation, and personally I would NOT be angry with her if she did this to me. Seriously, I couldn't care less. But seems like her way of thinking is different :(

So I started grade 9 a few months ago and it's been going ok. I have a few friends I sit with at lunch and few others that I met which are just classroom friends.I just recently notice that non of them really hang out or go out and they just sit around playing games on there phones at lunch. I don't understand in grade 8 I was going out so much more but the people who I went out with have 1rst lunch. So what do I do. The people I met either are just classroom friend or have 1rst lunch but the people I sit with at lunch just literally eat, go to the school library and play on there phones if I try talkin while there on there phones they kind of brush me off. I have lived a pretty sheltered life and am homeschooled but am switching to an in-person high school. Lots of the kids post photos of themselves on Instagram kissing their friends cheeks or even laying in bed cuddling (like spooning, or sitting in each other's laps, etc.). This seems kind of strange to me for just friends but is this the normal? Lol, thanks for any answers! He is an extremely nice and friendly person. In june he always came down to my directed study in the cafeteria to fill up his water bottle. One time I went to his directed study to fill up my water bottle and he walked up to fill up his water bottle at the same fountain even though there was another fountain there. He was also tapping his fingers on the fountain while I was filling it up. He looked at me sometimes in the hall as well. Two times this year as soon as i passed him in the hallways he turned his head completely in my direction. Also this year I was glancing around the room and he was too and as soon as he saw me looking around he quickly looked away and down at his desk this happened two times in a row. Last week I was walking in the hall I didn't say anything just walking and he said "what's up?". Was he sayign this cause he wanted to talk to me? Also last week me and my friend were the only ones in the hall and he was walking down the hall and he saw us and glanced over two times. Another time I was talking to my friend and from a distance I could see him staring at me even when we started walking to class he was staring at me while I was talking to her. Also this week I was talking to a aid teacher and being friendly and he was looking at me from across the room. Also when he said what's up we didn't have eye contact and he wasn't smiling when he said it was he nervous? I honestly don't know haha. my friend said he only says hi to his friends. he is outgoing

My roommate is the most awkward and antisocial person I have ever met, but I would like to try and be friends with him if I have to live with him. He only leaves the room to go to class and eat, doesn t have any friends on campus I am aware of and refuses to do anything with me. All he does is watch Youtube videos and TV. He never talks to me or anyone else and only gives one word answers. I have tried to get him to do stuff with me like going to the dining hall together, playing XBox, or coming to the gym with me but he always says that he s busy. He also avoids eye contact all the time and never even acknowledges people that I bring into the room. I would really like to try and be friends with this guy if I have to room with him but it seems impossible, any suggestions?

This girl and I are, in our late 20's, from the same country and we attend this post-grad school. We started to get closer and talk more and more and always seem happy to see each other. Last month, she was asked to move out of her apt , so i offered to rent a truck for her and helped her moving her stuff into a storage unit. she might cry while talking to me and always complains to me.We moved her stuff back to her new apt and stayed alone cooking. She knows that i'm virgin and never dated before, so one time she leaned forward for a hug but i was nervous and ever since she never tried to hug me. We started to go out a lot but never had any kind of physical contact with her, but i always treat her so special , as i always refuse to let her pay and walk her to her apt and stuff. Her teacher is kinda handsome, and he just broke up with his gf, and she always talk about him and how he's heart broken. Last wednesday, he cried while talking to her , so today we were going to this cafe when she suggested to call him and let him join us. I said it won't look good as teachers always talk and might say something about both of us going out together. I don't know if she was trying to use me as a third wheel to get closer to him or she wanted to tease me and making me feel the competition, and when we were in cafe she said that maybe he broke up bcz he's lazy and don't work on himself. Sometimes I might catch her staring at me when we're in class. She then started to talk about how boyfriends here are supposed to pay for their girlfriends and don't let them pay for anything, and how they supposed to pay for their girlfriends every time they go out no matter what and how they supposed to support them. I said that's impossible and that after couple of dates they split up the receipt, but she said both of her ex-roommates said so and she's so sure about that. I told her that's unrealistic as I always read that their life is sharing. Why she sometimes suggests to go out with some of my classmates, like this guy who's a player to go hiking, while staring at me as if she's trying to see a reaction from me, even though, she tries to avoid him when we're in school . Also , why she always says that her teacher wants someone to talk to, and that he broke her heart to see him struggling with the break up.
