Question: Can I fix my marriage? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 09:02 PM PST My husband and I are both 20, both with severe anxiety and I with depression. I've been mistreated my entire childhood and I feel that the way I grew up opens me to more abuse in my adult life. I'm over emotional sometimes (excessive crying) but only when I feel the most alone emotionally. My husband and I always fight and 5/10 times I end up crying. He stands at a distance and tells me to stop or just repeats my name quickly 30+ times until my anxiety snaps. He's cheated on be before and I chose to forgive him, but not 4 months later he's posted online looking for more women and dirty talking strangers on a meet-up app. I'm obviously not quick to trust him again but he wants me to just forget it. Tonight is the first night he came around my family since he cheated, and as soon as we left he criticized me for congratulating my cousins bf on his new job. I hugged my cousin then patted him (the bf) on the shoulder goodbye as I left and he asked me to not ever touch him again. I know this isn't abuse but I'm so unhappy. I want things to be different. I want a life of real happiness. What can I do to change things? |

Question: Men are above women in marriage. Agree? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 07:33 PM PST Because if the man feels demasculated, then that equals low testosterone, which equals poor performance in the bedroom, which equals the wife cheating, which equals divorce. |
Question: How do I get her to stop? I have tried spanking and taken away toys.? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 06:33 PM PST my husband(38) and I(36) are still very intimate We have three children A 17 year old a 10 year old and a 5 year old On my birthday he woke me up to give me some presents Well one present was sex This was in the morning at around 7:30 and my kids don't usually wake up until 11:30/12 My husband was on top and he said he was.. close And I replied even more innapropriatly Well I was orgasming and then I heard the door knob turn. I tried to tell my husband but I couldn't stop. He was about to pull out and we saw my youngest standing in confusion. She giggled and she said "daddy what are you doing!". He hugged me and he said we were just hugging. She said "why are you naked?!". I told her to go put socks on and she said "okay can I watch tv?" I told her "yes get socks first and brush your teeth" And she went I sighed and my husband said "want to finish?" I looked at him like he was dumb- because it was a dumb question- and we stopped I put my robe on and went to check on her and my husband showered. Monday she went to school and she told her teacher and her friends what she saw. Her teacher already hated me for some reason. But she called me and scheduled a conference. She told us what had been happening and she starts lecturing ME She said well Mrs. Bustillos I understand you may feel very tempted because your husband is very well you know but you need to be more responsible My husband laughed and I got mad at the teacher But my daughter won't stop talking about it! What do I do? |
Question: What are appropriate boundaries with an ex husband whom you have kids with? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 06:16 PM PST What are some things you should and should not do with him and where do you draw the line? I would like to coparent in a friendly manner especially around the kids but do not want to be misleading towards him or the kids. I also would like to start dating as it has been over a year since our divorce and over two years since our seperation. Where do I draw the line when he visits our children? Do we have lunches and diners together still? |
Question: Can someone please help me decode the enigma that is the male mind? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 06:12 PM PST We dated for three years in college, then started long distance when I went to veterinary school. One time while I was visiting him, I went through his text messages and found out he "took another girl home". When I confronted him and was about to break up with him, he claimed it was just a kiss. He begged for me back, saying I was his only love, the most serious relationship he's ever had, etc, and I took him back. Then later I got randomly jealous of some girl I saw he added on facebook. That triggered him to say he "can't do long distance for four years and put his life on hold anymore, it's too hard being away from me." He was crying the whole time. I begged for him to take me back, and he did. Then a couple weeks later, the girl I was suspicious of messaged me that she had been on several dates with him and they had had an hour long hook up/grinding session. As soon as she discovered he had a girlfriend, she ended it. I contacted him angrily and called him an *** hole. He said he was so sorry, he knew i could never forgive him, and I deserve someone better. But he would always love me and care about me. I know that all of this makes it sound like he didn't really like me, but throughout the 3 years we dated he wanted to be with me constantly, texted/called me 24/7, told me I was his one and only love, he loved me so much, etc. He was crazy for me. Now, I keep trying to talk to him, and he barely responds. I stopped trying, and he hasn't spoken to me in weeks. Why? |
Question: He has stayed with her for 8 years... He only left once... But came back...? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 05:51 PM PST Does that mean he is satisfied and there to stay? For this couple... So silly! They own a place together but they aren't married... They've been together for 8 years tho... They are miserable together, but now they are expecting a child! I heard her yelling at him, "I want u to have sex with me! I'm nearly 30, I want a baby now!" Why didn't she leave him and find another man to have a baby with? Have other women in the past done this? Do they think it's too hard to start over and fear ending up alone? Why was he not having sex with her? Something must be wrong for her to beg! |
Posted: 24 Dec 2015 05:24 PM PST I've lived with my boyfriend for YEARS. We share accounts, loans, and aren't in any hurry to get married since we both want to have plenty of money to spend on the wedding. His grandparents rented a house in the mountains and want us to come, but they won't let us stay in the same room since we aren't married. I don't appreciate how we are seen as "inappropriate" to them so I'm not really okay with them telling us that we need to sleep in separate rooms- plus I just think it's so weird to go on a trip and be forced to sleep in separate rooms considering we have lived together for years and are almost common law married? We would be paying for food/gas over there, so as paying adults I feel they really shouldn't be trying to separate us. They are paying for the house, so I understand that it's "their rules," however I offered to pay for our portion but it was still a no go. I want to just rent a hotel since I really just don't feel comfortable with the whole thing, but that upsets them too... Neither of us really want to go anymore and both feel at a loss on what to do. And is there ever a way to handle a religious family when you're just not? |
Question: Could you really trust a swinger? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 05:22 PM PST It's basically someone who gives their most solemn vow to another person and then makes a lifestyle of pissing on it. How can you take his/her word on *anything* seriously? |
Posted: 24 Dec 2015 05:03 PM PST Ladies/women, especially those who marry very early (before age 24), have you ever met or come across someone else in life maybe at work or just anywhere that is a better fit for you than the husband you chose when you were very young? Have you ever thought that you wished you waited a little longer to get married? I'm not asking if you've thought of cheating, but just if you've had that inside thought of "If only I had waited for someone like this instead...". |

Question: Lottery winnings and divorce? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 03:59 PM PST This is all hypothetical! I don't even play the lotto so I have no chance of winning & I don't plan on getting a divorce. Just curious! Ok, let's say my husband and I were separated. In the process of divorce..just waiting for court date. Let's say I win a huge jackpot lottery. Would be be entitled to some money? What if I waited until after the divorce to claim the winnings? What if (already separated) I had a boyfriend. What if I let him claim the winnings? & we get married? Finally, would it matter if we had a child together and file for joint custody? again this is all what if! Not divorcing, not playing lottery, not having an affair |

Question: Can I win a case against my step dad without my siblings getting taken away? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 03:51 PM PST I have lived with my mom and her husband for maybe 7 months now. I didnt ask to live here my mom just kind of surprised me and told me I was moving half way across the country towards the end of the school year while invalidating my end of the year tests. My mom is bipolar and schizophrenic and her husband has a horrible temper. He is constantly yelling at me and acting so immature. I have to clean up after him my mom and their toddlers on command. I have to babysit on command and often. I dont even get a thank you either. I have videos of my mom and her husband yelling. I also have a video I took today of him calling me a "whiny *** little cry baby *****" and saying he's going to turn the breaker in my room of because I asked if I xould wait to vacuum until after we took the tree down since I vacuumed monday, its not dirty, and will be dirty when we take the tree down so he snatched the vacuumand started screaming at me. I also found picture on my moms phone that she took of history showing he's been watching porn of teen blonde girls and teens. I'm 17 and blonde. Amongst the history there was also a search for how to get weed out of your system. Im currently in florida and want to move back with my grandparents in west Virginia. |

Posted: 24 Dec 2015 03:00 PM PST I've been engaged for about 9 months and supposed to get married next year. However after the last 6 months things have not been going very well and I doubt I'm going to marry my fiancé. About 3 months ago, I met a guy who was in town visiting on business. He ran a conference at the Hotel where I am in charge of business events and conference rooms booking. We started talking and it was like I knew him for a long time. He was only in town for a couple days (we never saw each other outside his conference, so no dating or sex or anything like that, we just talked during his breaks.) But, when he left he gave me a hug and wish me good luck with my impending marriage. He smelled so good! I never thought I would see him again as he lives in another state, but I thought about him and our conversations a lot. Last month he was in town again giving another conference. I was so surprised! When I saw him he actually came over to me. We spoke again and to tell you the truth I've never had feelings like this, but I've been thinking about him all the time, day and night. He says he'll be back in town in a few months for another conference. Should I approach him when he returns or is this just some chance acquaintance, and I should just let it go? I know my engagement is over (which is a lot of what we talked about, and also his life). So, I am free to do what I want. I just do not know how or if I should approach him about my feelings. |
Posted: 24 Dec 2015 02:59 PM PST I am editing this to add that I bust my butt each month and pay all of our bills at my apartment, raise our two kids full time and he has not contributed a dime to me in 6 months. My mom and dad have been helping me occasionally. If it wasn't for my parents I would be on the street. I also work from home and have 2 kids under two. I need to file for child support and divorce my husband for good. I just don't know how to proceed from here. I can't wait to get this all behind me. |

Question: I slept with my sons best friend! What do I do? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 02:43 PM PST My son is 21 and his friend is 22 . My son is staying with me because his college is real close to where I live. His best friend that I ve know since they were in second grade recently got kicked out of his house so we let him stay at my place. One night I went out with my husband and he told me he wanted a divorce. He met a girl and he said he was in love with her. I went home and my sons friend "John" (we ll call him) was the only one there. I thought he went out with Alec, but he didn t. I went inside and I was crying and I threw my purse and keys on the couch. I stood by the door and John walked in. He asked if everything was alright. I told him no everything was not alright. He asked what happened and I told him Chris wanted a divorce. He said he was sorry and then said everything was going to be fine. I said it wasn t going to be fine and started crying more. And then he hugged me. I started to pull away from the hug and said sorry for letting him see me that way. He said not to apologize and that he was happy to be there whenever. He picked my head up and we started kissing I felt that it would maybe take things off my mind. I wasn t thinking straight and I started undressing him. He then did the same to me and we ended up in my bed. I apologized afterwards and told him we had to tell my son. He told me to stop apologizing that it wasn t that big a deal. How do I tell my son Im getting a divorce and slept with his best friend? No judging please |

Question: What would you do in my place ? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 02:16 PM PST I'm 24 and the main reason why I'm home is because I help my brother and mom with rent. I just bought my car and also work full time and go to school. Today is Christmas and I'm lonely and my brother got mad at me for not giving him a ride (he's 34 and has no car) and since he pays a little bit more than me he kicked me out of the house. I have had one serious boyfriend and a casual affair since 2013 ( as of right now) with a much older guy (43) because I feel like he brings me some type of happiness. Short term happiness because our relationship is just sex and he tells me that he's in love with me and I just feel sometimes like my life has no real purpose. Sometimes I wish that I'd just be dead. |
Question: My fiance uses my abusive ex-boyfriend as a way to get away with everything? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 01:55 PM PST In highschool my ex would slap me, kick me, punch me and never hid that he was doing so from anybody. My fiance had been my friend at the time and helped me once I finally got out of that relationship until we started dating. But it seems like he feels he can go no wrong since he'll never be as bad as my ex boyfriend. When he stays out too late with his friends or forgets to do something important his go to response is always. "Well at least I'm not like your ex." I sdmit that I can act childish because I have mild Aspergers. By that I mean that I get too nervous to talk to people even when ordering food at a restaurant and ask my boyfriend to do it. There are times when I'm really oblivious and someone could be flirting with me but I won't realize it and my boyfriend gets mad. Its not all the time but enough to annoy him. It got to the point where he said something really hurtful "This is why you always got hit." When he screams at me or calls me stupid for whatever he throw it in my face that at least he doesn't abuse me like my ex. If I even try telling him I don't like him talking to me like that he just asks if I would prefer him to hit me like my ex. Of course he never would hit me he's just proving a point. This stuff happens so rarely that it's not worth losing my relationship over but I wish he wouldn't always try to use my ex as an excuse. I see where he's coming from and I am grateful that he has been so good to me but I'd like this aspect to stop. Any advice? I see that I kept switching between boyfriend and fiance. We are engaged but it was recent and I forget to refer to him as my fiance sometimes. |
Question: Parents aren't being supportive about pregnancy. Opinions pls!? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 01:54 PM PST Me & my husband have been married for 5 months. We are both 23. My husband is in the military, so we live almost 2,000 miles away from both of our families. We don't have a choice. I just found out yesterday that I was pregnant! I told my mom and she freaked and just has negative things to say, that we should have been smarter, and that we live so far and the baby won't know them(plane tickets here are very pricey). Then we told his parents and they are happy and congratulated us. So it's like 2 different sides and it's extremely hard for me to even be happy. I'm nervous, and scared also, I feel so stressed & sick. I don't know how to be happy when they aren't happy for us. Any opinions or thoughts for me, during this time that is supposed to be a great moment. Thank you! |
Question: My husband keeps threatening to leave me.? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 01:39 PM PST My husband keeps threatening to leave me. We have three kids. Our oldest son is 5 years old and mildly autistic. Our middle son is 3 years old and our baby girl is 10 months old with feeding issues due to a repaired cleft lip and she still has a partial cleft palate. He expects me to be able to do EVERYTHING. He's mad at me because the house isn't always spotless, kids don't go outside everyday, ect. Then he compares me to other peoples wives and how together they are. Then threatens to leave me |

I really like cats but my husband hates them. We ended up getting a puppy and I'm having a really hard time with her. I don't connect well and really regret this decision but feel bad to sell her since my husband bought her for me. What should k do? |

But then the pitbull puppy runs up from behind and grabs his neck. Is she acting on instinct and being aggressive or just playing. Also everything I pet her she roles on her back and starts twisting and stuff while I rub her belly. And my white dog will calm walk by and she'll nip at his legs. She wonr chase him or nip hard but just like a little close then open quick. |

Question: Are all mother in laws difficult to get along with? Posted: 24 Dec 2015 01:14 AM PST I love the show Everybody Loves Raymond, but I loathe Marie's character. I know it's just a sitcom but I have heard horrible mother in law stories, and the common idea is that they're very hard to get along with. Are all MIL's bad? Do they just care too much? Or are they really out to get you? I would like to know about some situations where that is not the case! Thanks! |

Question: My wife keeps trying to catch me in a lie.? Posted: 23 Dec 2015 10:14 PM PST When I'm telling a story, I always focus on the big picture and will over/under exaggerate the details, because I don't think it matters. For example: News: a guy died from getting shot 20 times. Me: a guy died from getting shot 15 times. Her: I thought you said 25 times last time. Me: why does it matter how many times he got shot... He probably died after the first couple, the point is a man died and he got shot an excessive amount of times. Am I in the wrong? I guess my question is, is it "lying"? Not by the technical definition, but since it's totally not intentional and it's also not meant to deceive, it's just I don't remember and I usually try to say, "like" 15 times instead of, "exactly" 15 times. |
