Question: I'm starting a family at 16? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 09:23 PM PST So, my boyfriend proposed to me. Knowing that his parents & my parents were both ok with underage marriage, I said yes. I wasn't really expecting us to get married right away, I was expecting that we'd be engaged for 2 years, and then get married when we turn 18. Before all of the people start talking about how we're too young to get married, I do know that it's a young age, although we've been together for 4 years. Yes, since we were 12. We are both Sophomores now, and he, his parents & my parents want us to get married on News Years Eve (He proposed Christmas Eve). My neighbor is moving to NYC, is pregnant with a boy, terribly poor and deeply in debt. Since she is, she's adament about leaving her baby with us when it comes next month. I've told her multiple times that I'm just a sophomore in HS, and that I don't want this much responsibilty. But she lets it go in one ear & out the other. She is determined on giving us the baby. She plans to have Blake and I raise it until we turn 18, & then have us become his legal parents. My finacee is totally game for raising a kid and having a happy life together in the apartment complex (His mom is a landlord for an apartment complex and can get us an apartment). It's not that I don't want to get married, it's just that this is a lot of stuff, and a lot of responsibilty coming at me all once. I'm not sure if I am cut out for any of this. Advice? |

Question: Mental abuse by in laws indian family? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 09:05 PM PST I have been married for four years. My husband is only son and my in laws want to take part in ever single thing in our life. They used to abuse my parents in front of others for not giving dowry. Dowry means not money just a Saree and some boxes for the gifts like that. I happened to stay like only weeks at a time with them . But those words and torture will be enough for like years. They blindly ask to obey and follow them. They ask not to call my mom. They will not tell directly bit scolding like someone else . I must wear what dress they ask me to wear. Commenting I eat so much. Now I stopped talking to them . But they are black mailing my husband like you went behind your wife and we want to die. After every time my husband speak with them he finds some fault in me.he won t speak in place for me against them . I should only fight for myself. No physical abuse but non stop they complaining about being mine it worries a lot . Even when they are together at home they won t speak to me at all. Bu thy complaining looking at serial indirectly pointing me. My question is this an abuse ? I don t want to file case and all. But will police take it even as a complaint... |
Question: What do I do? Child custody disagreement? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 09:03 PM PST My ex boyfriend wants our 1 year old weds Thurs overnight and every Sunday with alternative weekends, he would be babysat by his family members weds Thurs Sat from 7-4pm ... He has past duis & drug addiction, he has driven under the influence with our son many times. He has fines for drug possession. Do I agree or take him to court? Question: How do I convince my wife that moving to the suburbs is a bad idea? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 08:31 PM PST We are planning to have a baby, ideally in 2017. My wife wants a house with a yard in the suburbs, and I want a townhouse in the city. We currently live in a 2/1.5, 1,000 square feet condo, which we both agree will not suffice after the baby arrives. My wife wants a 4 BR house in the suburbs with a yard. She wants up to 1/2 an acre. She thinks it's time to get away from the city. She works full time in a rough part of town that is about as far from where we live now and where she wants to move. She will convert to part time after we have kids. But here's the thing. I work full time in the city. Currently, it is a 15 min. ride on the metro to work, and from the townhome I'm eyeing, it'll be even less. In the suburbs it'll take an hour each way. That's 2 hours of lost time. Each day. My wife is concerned that we won't have time for much after we have kids, yet she wants me to commute 2 hours each day....it makes NO sense. Then there's the issue of maintaining the house. It takes a lot of effort to tend to the yard and clean the house. I really don't want my weekends to consist solely of chores. When am I supposed to have fun? Lastly, there's the issue of what will the suburbs really give us? The townhouse is in a part of town that has a good school district, and is close to everything. We won't need to chauffer our children all over the place once they become teens. They can walk to stuff. They'll appreciate it too I'm sure. The cost of the townhome is about the same as of a large house. Yes, it is more per square foot, but we don't need 200,000 square feet! |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 08:22 PM PST Should he apologize for the abuse I haven't received an apology from him all he said was if money was ok maybe there wouldn't have been that stress and that he is sorry he didn't handle things better. Am I wrong? |
Question: My wife is mad that she makes more money then me. What should I do? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 08:18 PM PST My wife makes a lot more money then me and that bugs her. She's always telling me to "be a man and make more money" that isn't so easy. Today I asked her how much her bonus check was going to be and she said "Stop counting my money". That really pissed me off. I do t know what to do in this situation. |
Question: How can I get my wife to quit nagging me and stop being so negative? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 08:13 PM PST We have been married 8 years and we have a 5 year old daughter. I work full time, and she works part time (9-2 M-F). My wife is concerned about how we are going to pay for our daughter's college edu. It's a legit concern, and as the primary breadwinner, I'm trying to move upward to make it happen. I normally work 42-45 hours per week, but during busy times, I may have to put in 50, or even 55 hours. This rarely happens more than 3 times per year. But I never get any thanks for it from my wife. I come home from work exhausted, and all I come home to is nagging about what needs to get done, etc. My wife is very health conscious, as am I. She goes to exercise classes daily, which I encourage her to do, and I go to the gym on my way home from work. She nags me about why I am coming home so late (7 PM!?). She then nags about housework and yardwork that needs to get done. She is home the 15 hours per week she doesn't work, yet she doesn't do any of it. I am expected to do everything. The worst part is, she complains I never have time for her. Maybe I WOULD have more time for her if she would pull some f***ing weight around the house! |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 08:12 PM PST My ex and I are finally finalizing our divorce after a few years of separation and me being back from the Army for 1.5 years. We had been originally been alternating weekends and I took our son every Wednesday. I currently attend a tier 1 university, taking an overloaded course schedule (18 credit hours) am an honor student, and have leadership roles in a veterans organization. During my freshman year that schedule worked fine, but during my sophomore year we had to cut it back to just alternating weekends. It is now my junior year and we are about to go to our mediation session to take care of child support and visitation. She is pushing for the standard visitation schedule which requires 30 days over summer, alternating spring breaks, and a bunch of extra days and time I cannot accommodate. One of the main reasons I am pushing so hard to finish fast and with such a strong resume is because she lives with her grandparents, has been in community college for 3 years and has 6 hours completed, and is engaged to an ex felon who makes just above minimum wage. I do not have a large amount of confidence that she will be willing to provide a good life for him. Additionally, its not all about optional things like student organizations, but also I have an internship next summer and am taking 2 night classes after. She wants me to take 30 days off of my summer long internship, or find daycare for the periods i'm gone. Hold on, out of space, wait for update. Sorry, Even though she only works 16 hours a week and is taking 2 community college classes, she is pushing that I take him so that she can "Get a break". I'm not trying to avoid the responsibility of my son, but is there anyway I can request less visitation time so that I can finish my degree on my schedule and start working a real job to get him out of that crummy situation? |

Question: What happens when a spouse files a restraining order? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 07:39 PM PST My husband who I'm separated from since this weekend told me he was so upset I called the police on him after he dragged me out and locked me out the house. Although when the police came I only told him he locked me out and didn't mention dragging me. He was mad and afraid that he filed a restraining order. He told me today that he is canceling tomorrow and he's sorry |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 07:32 PM PST Idk but she wasn't herself at breakfast, didn't talk much. I asked her mom & 2 of her sisters if they knew what was going on but they knew as much as I did. She's been really busy for the past couple of months with her project, she was really excited about it but now she's just mellow. She's supposed to be home in like half an hour. I took it upon myself to layout dinner on our roof top with candles, roses etc, maybe the suprise would cheer her up.I also put the baby to sleep. We're engaged but idk if it's the wedding planning because we have a team working out the arrangements & its 7 months away. We've talked about trying new stuff in the bedroom but I think she needs rest. She's always had a vuluptous figure which I adore but she got back into shape quickly after the baby. I always try to remind her how sexy she is I know it's weird but I always grab her butt while kissing or flirting. This year was really big for us & next year will be even more busy but I was thinking of taking her on a "romantic get away" just the 2 of us no baby, something like a rehearsal honeymoon. Idk what's going on maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Any advice is welcome |

Question: My husband cheated on me? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 06:58 PM PST I thought this can never happen ton me we were very young when we got married, I don't know anything but him. I have given him and his family my all, I might not be a good daughter, but I am a good daughter in law and a good wife. I left UK and moved to USA. I suspected this at work, and watched himfir a littl e while and it was happening. We went through all the phases of apologizing and crying together, and I want to forgive him, but I feel embarrassed cleaning and being his wife, and I am not connected here any more. I can anout seem to put myself together, sobbing and crying is not helping me. Give me advice please! He will bring me back, I know that I lived with him for twenty years, he told me he will die, and you know what I know he will if I leave I am his support and love at home. We have kids that adore him and he says in front of people that my wife does all this. He pulls me back, I think I wanna go, but I don't know if I am just saying it or I can do it. |

Question: What is the appropriate age for marriage? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 04:33 PM PST What is the appropriate age for marriage? I'm I'm 23, but I still see that this is still early, but to see when the girls at the university my idea changed completely, I see this side that only a sexual relationship does not know whether I am ready to be a father after a child with his parents to play and enjoy his life |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 04:29 PM PST "its nice finally knowing how you feel" And then "**** hurts .... not only my head but my heart" And then posted this "Honestly if you can't love yourself , how can you expect someone to love you" What does it mean? Is she talking about someone she likes but doesn't like her back |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 04:14 PM PST When we argue we argue. Before I go any further, I will say he is a wonderful human being- just not when he's defensive. He said I have no personality, am tasteless, growing bored of me etc. (we have a 4mo old so I cant just GO; though I have thought of doing so). I've heard this from him so many times, I used to cry every time I heard it but now I'm numb to the words. It's a shame really. Well tonight during our dispute I did not cry and he kept saying " there you go again, go ahead cry" and I said " I'm not crying, nope, I'm not." I looked him right in the eye. Usually I plea and beg him to stay with me-- yada yada yada. I felt no urge to do that tonight. Well, he left the room and I did too. The baby is asleep so I hopped on the PC. He comes in and demands to know what I'm doing. Which is what I don't understand. Why would he care? Still far from crying, I said I'm online, checking mail, facebook etc. He bends over to read the tab I had open, which was odd. I asked if there was a problem and if I need his permission to use the internet? He stormed off and said "GO AHEAD YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION FOR THE COMPUTER". I think he's just being a jerk honestly. I have never needed his permission EVER to use the internet. Not sure why he's acting this way. If anyone had some insight, I'd like to hear it! |

Question: My husband doesn't have a job. Should I divorce him? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 03:13 PM PST We're married for 8 years and have three children (1, 4 and 7). I am working very hard 14 hours a day to make all of them live comfortably. I get very tired and it's exhausting. I told my husband about it and advised him to get a job too, but he doesn't want to because of the children. I told him we could get a nanny, but he insists that he doesn't trust nannies and that children should be raised by their parents when that young. He's too stubborn and starts a fight every time I ask him to get a job. This is making me very angry. Why is he is so selfish? I am thinking about divorce. I told him we should go to the couple counseling, but he said he doesn't want anyone to mess with how he handles his life. I can't believe he is so lazy. I thought I married a perfect man, but all he does is taking care of babies, cooking, and stuff like that, while I'm suffering. He indeed is a good father, but I can't do this anymore. I want to divorce him. OR if you have any advice on him to talk him into getting a job, please tell me. I'm desperate. |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 02:57 PM PST she said she wants to divorce due to being unhappy & depressed needs someone who can provide for her and someone that'll appreciate her , but to start a relationship with an engaged coworker and to find out she wants a baby from him. How did she go from being in love with me to a few months falling in love with him , he's cheated on his fiancee a handful of times due to having a sex addiction.Ifeel he's manipulating my wife ,cause he treats her like **** at times , but there she is all up on his balls. She literally destroyed his family. She's even slept with him in the bed he shared with fiancee and daughter.Guy says he wants nothing with her but he's still talking to her and sleeping with her. And few weeks ago she was telling me she doesn't want to divorce me and loves me but a few days ago when. All this came to light she said she never said anything like that. How did she just leave me ? I loved her with all my heart I did everything for her , loyal ,faithful, and was always there when no one else was. I just wasn't able to provide for her , due to being unemployed for 2 years due to her not wanting me to work moved to her hometown and I got a job in a week , she did too.And after a month she starTed cheating with 2 coworkers one is including the one she in love with! IS SHE REALLY IN LOVE WITH HIM? AND IS HE JUST USING HER? And does she really not love me? She even has my name tattooed across her arm! Well she come back if he cuts her off? |
Posted: 29 Dec 2015 02:50 PM PST You would think men cheating would be very careful to make sure there would NEVER BE ANY EVIDENCE. |
Question: How do I deal with my husband's disgusting habits? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 02:46 PM PST I'm at my wits ends with my husband. He only brushes his teeth every 4-5 days (I was hiding the toothpaste one day and he didn't ask about it until 4 days later). He brushes them right before he wants to have sex, though. I asked him so many times brush them daily and explained that it makes me feel very uncomfortable but he just doesn't seem to care. I don't even want to kiss him anymore, let alone have sex with him because it grosses me out. I'm becoming less and less attracted to him. He only showers every 3-4 days as well. He's wearing his work uniform all day (which he doesn't switch very often) and gets really sweaty in it but when he comes home he just throws on a shirt and a pair of shorts and goes to sleep on the couch. Sometimes the entire downstairs smells like a combination of stinky feet and sweat. His side of the mattress (not even a year old) on the bed shows a brown silhouette, so I don't have to explain how often I need to wash the covers, sheets and pillows. Yes, even deep clean the mattress. Another thing is that he gained a lot of weight. He used to be in great shape but now he is obese. He eats all the time. About 10 minutes after dinner he grabs a snack and 20 minutes later he grabs the next one. He won't eat the fruits I add to his lunch, but instead buys junk food after he's eaten the sandwiches or whatever else I put in his lunch box. He spends roughly $350 each month on junk food, whereas I spend $200-250 on groceries for the both of us. And while he says he's not happy with his body and claims that he will start going to the gym after work, all he does is play video games, sit on his tablet and sleep. I can't get him to go out and do something with me without huffing and puffing. The only thing he actually wants to do is have sex. And while I get that he needs some alone time after work, I find it very unattractive in a man to do nothing but sit around all the time. Unfortunately he also thinks I'm his maid. It doesn't matter how many times I bring it up, he will not clean up after himself. I even broke out in tears one day and explained that it makes me feel disrespected, taken for granted and overall uncomfortable inside the house and so he promised to start cleaning up after himself. Of course, didn't happen. He still leaves his dirty clothes on the ground, leaves dirty dishes in the sink or turns the kitchen into a battlefield after I cleaned it. Right after I mopped he walks through the house with muddy shoes on, he pees on the toilet, splashes on the ground and won't wipe it off. He even leaves his poop residue in the toilet. I literally have to clean it every time I need use it. He won't mow the lawn or pick up dog poo, sweep the driveway, take out the trash or clean out the car every once in a while. He won't even put oil in the car or unclog the shower. It's all on me. Just a few examples. Is it normal for a man to be this way? I don't want to sound like a nagging b****, but it is stressing me out tremendously. I don't know what else to do. Is it possibly normal for a man to be this way? Does anyone have any advice? I don't want to just leave the mess and hope he will notice how nasty it is because I'm pretty sure he won't care. Btw, I am foreign national from Europe so I apologize for my grammar. |

Question: Did I do the right thing? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 02:06 PM PST My current wife and I just had a baby, and I missed the birth. The reason was because my 5 year old daughter (from a previous relationship) broke her leg on a playground accident, and I wanted to be there for her. I was at the hospital with my in-labor pregnant wife, and I received a call from my ex that our daughter had broken her leg and was at another hospital in town. I told my wife what was going on and that I had to go see my daughter, and my wife got upset. She said the birth of our son was more important because my daughter's mom can comfort her until she gives birth. I got angry and said she was being selfish and stormed out and let her give birth without me. She did, however, have her mom, her sister, and a close friend present with her to hold her hand through the birth. I chose to go see my daughter because she's five, and I figured she needed me more. My wife also had other people there to keep her company through the birth. My daughter was also so happy to see me when I arrived. My son won't remember whether I was there or not. But my wife is still hurt. Who's right? Did I do the right thing? |

Question: My significant other is confusing me. What should I do? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 12:41 PM PST My significant other of 7 yrs told me that they were no longer in love with me and they ve been feeling this way. They also told me that they thought it was best we moved on. That night, I began packing and they freaked out crying HARD. They told me they didn t mean it and that they were still in love. They have begged me to stay and since then has been following me like a sad aND apologetic puppy. I am so confused. In October, I was in a car accident which left me incapacitated for a few weeks. I m fine now, but I lost my job. I start back working in a few weeks and I m still being money in. They ve VOLUNTEERED to work overtime to have extra money, on the side. I know they re at work because they call me from their office every other moment. I m just contemplating what should I do? I don t know how to feel. |
Question: Found out wife cheated on me again with another coworker? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 12:36 PM PST my wife of 1 1/2 years and partner of 3 years ,cheated on me again within a month period ,but this time she's all in love with coworker by the way is engaged and has a baby. She knew he had a family but still pursued a relationship with him and wants a baby after sleeping with him for 6 months, but she was the side chick for that period til they got caught be his fiancee. She sent me back to our home state as a way she needed space to clear her head and that I would be back in a few weeks ,this is after I found out she slept with a manager at work.Forgave her we were good then she needed space. Now all into this other manager from work. Who is also a cheater ,he's cheated on his fiancee 4x already in 3 years and has cheated on ex gfs as well. So my wife or ex , has the nerve to tell his fiancee he wants her and loves her ,and that's why he goes home late , he loves the stuff she does to him etc. She also says he is gonna change for her and they are gonna be happy. But when he goes over to exfiancce house ,he's crying and begging for her back and wants to try for another baby. She told him go with her you seem to want her , have a baby with her.he "tells" her I don't want anything with her ,im just using her for sex cause she's easy whore.I'm just sleeping with her cause I'm hurt. But yet he is still going to her place to bang , and go out to dinner, now she's helping him with trying to win child custody. What are his real intentions? WHAT'S gonna be the out come? Please answer! |

Question: Who will win child custody? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 11:55 AM PST Fiance was caught cheating for the 4th time , is still sleeping with his coworker, to make things short . He took her home one night thinking I wasn't home . Confronted her she tooknows off running . Well he said he's done with her but come to find out they are still talking and she' wants his baby ,plus girl is married well told husband she wants the divorce. Anyways I filed for child support, but I don't have a job , I'm a stay at home mom , he works Long hours everyday , car buisness and when he has days off which are 2 or just one he says he's going in for a few hours ,kicked him out 3 weeks ago and since then he's only spent Christmas morning with her and 2 3 times since being kicked out. I'm scared I'm gonna lose my baby , and she's gonna have to be around that whore . What do I do? I don't want to lose her! Idk what this girl is really up too , she's crazy , she wants a baby with him already . Did he really leave his daughter and me for her? I cook him 3 meals a day everyday , back rubs and all , and what does she do to keep having him go back?? He's cussed her out through the phone while she was at work ,she even left work for crying so much ,after he called her nasty names. I just scares me cause he makes a lot of money and I don't have any . So I'm afraid he's gonna win custody. Plus I have no help , she's helping him as well with fees . How can a woman cheat on her husband and start something with an even worse cheater and think they are gonna be perfect!?!?! |

Question: What do I do about my fiancée mom? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 11:47 AM PST She tries to compete with me all the time and I have done everything to try and get along with her but she always uses it against me somehow. I am worried that on we are married things are going to get worse because she has this control over my fiancé. He is intimidated by her and can never tell her how he feels. I don't want this woman controlling my mirrage |

Posted: 29 Dec 2015 11:18 AM PST He hasn't seen his kids in 3 yrs. The first year he was deployed and the last two years the mom has been living in different states and not allowing him to see them even though visitation states he can. He has had opportunities to save money for an attorney but just blows the money. His kids are 4 and 5. I bring them up every now and then but I just really don't have much to say, I have never met them and don't know when I will because he has yet to save money to even get the process started. He tells me it's because I "don't accept the kids as a part of the family" |

Question: Don't know where to go from here? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 10:49 AM PST We have been married 15 years. Affection is really important to me but it's the opposite for my hubby. There are no hugs, cuddling, holding hands, last time he kissed me was ten years ago. I don't know what it is but now that am getting older, am craving affection. His idea of affection is sex, in fact he doesn't pay attention to me unless he wants sex. When i say no, he becomes a nasty person and makes my day miserable. The past week, i let him know that i want more affection and his response was he' 46 years old and he's not changing his ways and if i want affection, I should initiate it (which I have been doing for duration of our marriage). He also said if am not happy with the way things are then i should purse my happiness. I asked if he wanted a divorce and he said no but he wants me to pursue my happiness. In my heart, i truly believe he is capable of affection but the fact that he is not willing to try is showing me that he really doesn't care for me. Otherwise, he works hard, takes care of our three children (he refers to it as babysitting), makes me laugh, love his parents and we get along for the most part. My biggest fear is having our family break up; my daughter has already come to me and asked that we please stop screaming at each other as it makes her sad. I know am not the only person in the world in this predicament, really appreciate the feedback. Thanks |

Question: I ended up with a man who got me pregnant - he was married at the time? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 10:35 AM PST We see his ex wife every now and then, even had to bring over xmas presents to the apartment, I kicked her out of his house and into the apartment after the divorce, but the funny thing is that he still flirts with her with his charming way about him, like for example-- we all went out for dinner Sunday night after xmas, and he ordered the food for her, "the lady will have" stuff like that when the waiter came around.. but he never ordered for me, hmmm what do you think? |
Question: Why is there no abbreviation for an unmarried man? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 10:30 AM PST There is Miss for unmarried women and Mrs. for Married women, but all men are just plain Mr. I know there is Master for young boys, but what about older boys who are not married? And why call young boys "master" anyway? And at what age does a boy switch from Master to Mr? |

Question: Ex and his mom caught driving around my apartment at night? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 10:17 AM PST My ex and I have been apart for almost a yr. He was the one who broke things off after I refused to move back in with him, so he no longer wanted to try anymore. He immediately got married soon after. So now every time we exchange our 5 yr old he looks at me with hate and disgust. He is very spiteful. For exp. my son needed to go to the doctor and dad has his insurance card. I tried to reach out to him bc he doesnt have the info updated, so they will pay for the visit, but not the pharmacist. He won't respond, so I had to reach out to his mother who is apathetic. They both seem to have a vendetta against me, although the custody is 50/50. When it was my son's b-day neither of them even acknowledged it. So now we fast forward to an incident last week. I was going down stairs and dumping my trash when I spotted a familiar car. This was about at 6pm. My ex's mom was driving and all of a sudden she tried to intentionally act like they were looking for me and making sure I knew about the custody arrangement. I told her I was aware, but it looked like they were driving by to spy on me and when I spotted them they tried to make it like they intentionally had a question. The entire time my ex was in the back seat with his head down and pretending he was on his phone. What causes people to behave in this way? She pulled in and turned around. I also noticed that when my ex and I meet up to exchange our son, he stares at my new vehicle. |
Question: How to I tell my husband that I want my mother in law to stop living with us? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 10:15 AM PST My husband and I have lived together for about two years. Just before we got married his mother got fired and he began to support her. When I first moved in she didn't get along with me. She blamed me for all of my husbands problems and talked about me behind my back. She did her best to get me to leave. Slammed doors, called me names, accused me of stealing jewelry ect. She was absolutely nuts. My poor husband was caught in the middle of it all. He didn't want to live with her either but she had no money and no where to go. He told me that I could live with my mom for a little while until his finds a job, but I chose to stay just to spite the old witch. Long story short, I grew to hate her. She went through manic depressive cycles of hating me and being my best friend about once a month. Really it all came down to the fact that she did nothing all day except watch t.v and obsess over what I do for two whole years. She finally got a job about two months ago and has been rather normal since. She is busy so she isn't such a nazi about the house being clean, and she doesn't have time to care about what I do in the house. She and I are actually getting along quite well. We laugh, talk and go out to eat, but here is the thing, I still want her out. I feel like she is a third wheel in my marriage since we have to include her in most decisions simply because she lives here. Since she and I are getting along now, there has been talk of her paying rent and bills instead of saving to get her own place. How do I tell my husband that I still want her gone without him thinking I still have something against her? |
Question: How can I help my wife through the abuse I put her through? Posted: 29 Dec 2015 10:12 AM PST I used to suffer from a drug and alcohol problem and I began to abuse her. I beat her and began to force myself on her for sex. I raped her a few times. Worst of all I caused her to miscarry our child. She has since forgiven me but understandably she is fearful towards me if I go to touch her or hug her she flinches or tenses up. We currently sleep in separate rooms. We will soon be beginning counseling. I'm not sure what to expect from the counseling as far as how the counselor can help me regain her trust. How might you recommend I regain her trust and show her I love her and I'll never hurt her again? |
