Question: Is it legal to kick my 15 year old daughter out of the house? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 01:12 PM PST I am sick and tired of my 15 year old daughter. All she does is defy me whenever I give her something to do. She is constantly running away from home and getting into trouble such as drinking, doing drugs, I know this because I found a crack pipe in her room and absolutely blew up at her, she is also staying out until 3 or 4 AM and constantly going to wild parties. She is also skipping school and as a result her grades are suffering. She also got her lip pierced and is wearing skanky clothing. I am thinking she's had sex quite a few times, but I'm not really sure. I try and discipline her but all she does is get mad at me and storm out of the house. One day I reached my breaking point and decided to call my ex husband to come and take her. He agreed so he picked her up from my house and she is now living with him. I am now almost certain of terminating my parental rights because I don't want to deal with her behavior anymore. So was I right to kick her out the house? |
Question: What should I tell my son if he asked again? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 01:12 PM PST I need help or advice on what to tell my son about this? He was over his best friend Timmy's house when Timmy's older sister Lynnette got a spanking after school. He seen Lynnette over her Mommy's lap in just her sweater and underpants but it was what he heard that he asked me about. Not seeing Lynnettes satin white underpants. My son is only five years old and I Lynnetts's Mother was saying "panty spank" before each time she....well spanked her on the pantied bottom. He is confused why Mrs Karen was saying that being he didn't see the actual spanking. What should I tell him? |

Question: Am I'm the childish one? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 01:03 PM PST Im 18 years old and I'm graduating High School this year. Okay let me tell you my story. My mother made soup for us for dinner. She put the soup in one bowl so we can just take how much we want. My father decided to take his whole hand in the soup and start picking chicken out of the soup(the chicken was deep inside the soup. So he put his hand very deep into the soup). I find that very bothering. I told my father," Hey can you use a fork, that's very nasty using your hand." My father then flip out! He said," I was rude and that I should be punish." I was in shock, I ask him " what did I do wrong?" My father then got extremely angry and got out the belt and start whipping me! My father then told me I was very rude and childish, and that I should starve. My father then threatened me. He said that he would break all of my belonging and kick me out of the house. I confronted my mother about this problem. She said my father was an adult and that he can do whatever the hell he wants. My questions to you is " Am I really rude/childish?" "This is really right?" "Was I wrong?" I would like to hear your opinions. Thank you :D |
Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:54 PM PST Also the world today would be harder to raise a child in. And both his mother and his sister currently live with us. No we don't live with them. (Although we are almost paid off on the house and are going to move and leave them there to sale it or they can rent). But am I crazy? We are both 50/50. We don't want to ruin our careers and want a great life for a kid. But we also see that we would be great parents and would find enjoyment out of it at the same time. We are scared and at times think it would be a horrible move. Then at other times, I see how cool other people's kids are and kind of get the bug. But i'm 28 and he's 32. We are reaching the ages where we need to decide right? Also the funny/ not so funny thing is, I'm real bad about thinking I'm preggo when I'm not because I get so many symptoms once a month if you know what I mean. Maybe i'm over analyzing that I do this... I always wonder if subconsciously I'm wondering if I'm pregnant every month because I really want a kid. But then I'm like no...you're just paranoid! Which I might be. Lots of time to over think things in my line of business that is kind of boring at times. But anyway, you have the facts. Now what are your opinions? I'd really like some opinions because I really don't like to talk about this stuff with people close to me. My fam's asking us when we are going to have one far too often as it is! Also to clarify I work 40 hours a week and work as a musician as my side job. He works around 60 to 80 a week. So we are not losers. Just planners. |
Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:46 PM PST everytime my sisters boyfriend comes over, their always alone, which would be alright if she didnt live with our mom and 5 other people. i understand that they dont always get to spend time together in between work and school. but when we go to take him home, they take forever and i sometimes say, i like you, but get out. or like today, they were in the house up on the stairs doing who knows what, then they both went downstairs into the laundry room. it was maybe about 5 minutes that they didnt come up, so i went downstairs and told them as nicely as i could that i don't feel comfortable and that he needs to come upstairs or my mom will be informed about it. and i haven't told my mom about all their rendezvous, or sexual encounters at the house when she's not home. does this make me a *****? |
Question: (I'm a guy) my sister touched my privates? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:39 PM PST Ok well not really my private privates, but here's what really happened. I'm a boy 13 and my sister is a girl 15. So I came home from school yesterday, and I was really sore from working out. My sister was sitting next to me so I asked if she could massage my legs and back. She agreed to do it. Before she massaged me she took off my sweater(but left my undershirt on) and then she took off my sweat pants(but left my boxers on). I've always trusted my older sister so I didn't think anything of it whatsoever. I laid down on my stomach the whole time. So she's massaging my legs and back, and she alternates from my back to my things to my calves. The order was back, thighs, calves, then calves thighs back and so on. Several minutes later she asks me something else. I don't want to be mean but my sister's teeth are horribly crooked. She also has a habit of chewing gum. So her jaws were working on a wad of gun when she suddenly mumbled something in my ear. I didn't quite understand it so I stupidly said yes. Right after that she pulled down my boxers all the way down to my ankles, and she places a hand on my right butt cheek, then my left but cheek, and started massaging that too(my rear end). So now it was my back, calves thighs, and butt. On one hand I feel like I shouldn't think anything of it because like I said I trust her very much. But IDK. I didn't expect that. Should I say something or let it go? |
Question: Why do I sometimes do things I'm supposed to with the reason being that I'm upset? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:37 PM PST I did some work around the house because I was stressed out. There's a band concert for my sister tonight, and I didn't want to go because it messes up my daily routine for school (goes late on a school night), but now I'm demanding that I go because I'm cranky. |
Question: Am I being ridiculous? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:22 PM PST Lately my 11 year old brother has really been getting on my nerves. I just bought a ps4 all by myself and it took me a few months to save up the money for the system and the games. He thinks that he can play it whenever he wants and that it is his. I get really annoyed since I bought it all by myself and paid every penny for it and he thinks it is ok for him to play it whenever he wants to. Am I overreacting or is this something I should be mad about? Also what should I do to try to get him to stop. |

Question: Parents found out I watch porn, what do I say? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:03 PM PST Alright so I'm a teenage boy, I watch porn probably 3 times a week. If I do it's usually just Hub or looking at Google Images so I don't put any viruses on my parents' computer (mine blue-screened a while back because I dropped it, so I have to use theirs). Anyway, the other day I was watching it and I must've accidentally closed out of Incognito Mode and gone to regular, making my search history completely exposed. So my dad was cleaning his computer yesterday and he found all sorts of stuff I was looking at, at least I think he did. He was at the dinner table and I was putting my dishes in the sink and he was like "hey buddy, make sure you're being safe when you're on the internet". I was like, "uh okay" and I tried to avoid contact with him the rest of the night. I was a bit of a sneak and I looked at his text messages and he told my mom apparently, he said "I put parental protection on the computer, I'll tell you when you get home", or something like that. I'm assuming he saw, but I looked last night on the history of his computer and there was no porn or anything, just random little things like games and twitter that weren't bad at all. If he did find out I was looking at porn, what do I say if they bring it up again? Neither of them have said anything since. My dad was pretty cool about it, but I'm worried my mom isn't thinking the same as him. |
Question: Told my mom to go kill herself and I didn't mean it? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 11:50 AM PST I would NEVER ever want my mom to kill herself. I love her so much and she does everything for me. I was so heated and blurted this out and she screamed at me and started sobbing on her knees. I am a horrible human being :( how could I have said that? I just.. have been so sad these past few months and I have these spurts of anger and I feel so horrible. How can I make it up to her? She hates me now and can't talk to me. I'm disgusting :( |
Question: Does WIC in the State of Arizona Require Child s last name to be the moms? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 11:49 AM PST I am a teen father living in the state of Arizona. Me and my girlfriend agreed on having our daughters name hyphenated, so she can have both of are last names. But just recently she is telling me she needs the name to be only hers, and that she is going to change it. Her reasoning for this is if she needs to sign the baby up for something in WIC they may not let her with my name on there. Is it even possible to change the name without my consent? Is her reasoning made up? My baby is still 3 months old at the moment. |
Question: Dealing with death of both parents? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 11:40 AM PST I'm in my early 20's with a fairly decent hourly wage job. I'm on my own. I lost my mom when I was 12 years old. I lost my dad when I was 17 years old. Sometimes it feels like i've moved on and am on the track of progress, but sometimes it feels like i'm broken. Need to know how to cope. |
Question: What would you do if you found out your mom has been cheating on your dad for 3 years? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 11:33 AM PST My mom has been cheating on my dad with the same guy she met on Zoosk for 3 years. Through 2013 she wouldn't come home several nights and away on weekends for "work". Thanksgiving 2013 she had something come up and was gone. I looked at the phone numbers that guys had given her to compare with the cell calls online and one stuck out. I called the number and found out that she was with him. I told my dad about it and I don't know if he said anything to her about it. Fast forward to Aug 2015 I find out that she has two other phones pretending to be my sister and I. He thinks my dad died years ago. She's pretended to have stokes and a mental breakdown as reasons for not being with him and pretended to be my sister and I to back it up. They're also engaged. Her second phone showed what her password was. He doesn't even know he real name, and just tells lies. In her photos there are some of them together, her with her hair under a bandana to make herself look like a cancer patient, and pictures of two of my friends that are sisters to make him think that they're hers, This past Friday she was late getting home and said she was getting blood when she was with him. The next day was my birthday and she said she had to get iron. When I looked at her phone I found out she was with him all day. I'm struggling to keep this to myself and don't think I can anymore. |
Question: Points to bring up when persuading parents to let you travel alone? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 10:54 AM PST I've never met my best friend of two years in person, and he lives three states away from me. I'm a few months short of eighteen, and I'm more than willing to introduce everyone to my parents with Skype. How can assuage my mom's fears? I can only think of Skype, pepper spray, and texting her with updates every hour (which is how it's going to have to be in college, probably.) Also, you can be damn sure I'm paying if this happens. Holy crap, presumptuous much. We've had more video skype calls than I can count, and I talk about him all the time with my family. I can literally find no reason for this to be behind my parents' back. I can verify everything he says with his mom, who I've talked to. This "hot romance" you've concocted mentally is nothing further from the truth. My parents and I have talked in depth about him, and since you're so concerned about my high school life, you should know I graduated early. |
Question: Why would inlaws include a girlfriend but not a wife in pictures ? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 10:34 AM PST They included me when my husband and I dated but after we got married I am mostly out of the picture ? They always include my brother inlaws girlfriend ? |
Question: I did something stupid in front of someone in my family now I'm embarrassed? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 10:31 AM PST It was this morning and when I just go up so I was in my pajamas which was just a big t shirt and boxer shorts cause they are comfy if you wear them as shorts. And I saw my brother n laws truck outside and then when I heard the door opening I ran to my room but he saw me and when he came in he was like "did you just run away" and I was like "yeah" and he was like "are you ok?" And I just said yes. Omg so awkward I don't even know why I ran probably cause I didn't want him to see me in what I was wearing. How do you guys get over doing something weird in front of someone in your family? Ugh so embarrassing lol. |
Question: Why is my mom ashamed of me? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 10:13 AM PST Where ever we go she says im not good enaugh. She wants me to greet all the people she does and she wants me to be talkative when her friends come. And when i laugh and talk with my friends its wrong cause i shouldnt be doing that cause im a worthless **** with F's in school. I try my best but she never sees that. She is insulting me all the time. She comments on my weight a lot. Yes i agree i have some kg more then i should but im not fat. When ever i eat she tells me how fat i am and that my face looks really fat. Sorry mom for having chubby cheeks i was born with. My mom coming everyday to my apartment telling me how stupid my flat looks and how unclean it is. Help please |
Question: How do I get my mom to stop being such a bitchy control freak about the internet? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 09:58 AM PST My mom likes to randomly decide how much time I get on the computer, often grounding me just for asking what's wrong with her (obviously I would, because I was upset that she just randomly decided to say I can only get 4 hours on the computer from now on). She always is moaning and bitching about how the internet is a horrible, terrible thing that has absolutely no benefits, and even though she has already talked with our counselor about this, and even though we're doing whatever the quack says, she's always been this way. It needs to change. I hate my cruel, sick life, and even though our house is falling apart, our family is struggling to pay our bills, and I fear the thought of death or being taken away by Child Abduction Services again, the internet has always been there to support me. I actually have friends there. People who I can trust. People who actually care about me. I'm an entirely different person on the internet, and she wants to take it all away from me because she thinks it's a problem. It's not. Reality is a problem, not the thing that takes me away from it. And whenever I try and confront her, she always puts her defenses up. So, here I ask the internet: How do I get my mom to take down her defenses, just realize what's actually going on in my life, and stop acting like a damn Nazi about the internet 24/7? |
Question: My mom needs help how can I help her? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 09:52 AM PST I turned 18 yesterday and been wanting to live with my dad forever. My mom ruined my birthday. She told me to pay for my own gifts and she would take back my gifts. She dropped me to class and said you don't care about me and sped off. Then I went out with my boyfriend. I had fun but when I got home I told her he had a hamster on hold for me. She said no I'm not an adult and not responsible and it's a rat. So then I got mad and she said to shove the gifts up my ***. She and my sister were scared of me and were screaming bloody murder. My mom then said she doesn't like my face and I'm a rotten brat. She has a history of beating me as a child. She ran in her room and I thought she was going to kill herself so I threatened to call the police. She drinks all the time. What do I do? |

Question: My house was broken into!!!! Please Help!!!!!? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 09:08 AM PST This is not the first time and i believe that it will not be the last. The weirdest thing in the world is that they aren't taking anything that we can see everything is there and everything is untouched except by me and my mom and step dad. I would not be worried but my dog just died so she is no pretection anymore and I have TWO BABIES in the house. I think i know who it is or who the people doing it are working for. I don't feel safe anymore. There were footprints in the insulation of the attic. My dad said they would fall through i they fully stepped on the insulation and not the board i think that they were waliking on the board and just put a foot down for balance i know my mom never goes up there and that my step dad said he knows it is not him because he would fall through just trying to eep his balance and i never go up there because even though i have stuff up there it is to hot what to we do |
Question: Brother in law is a gamer Hoarding TV? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 08:37 AM PST My brother in law is a Call of duty veteran. His wife and kids are often forced into their rooms to watch anything on TV and when ever people congregate in the Living room he fires up the game and expects us to watch him run and gun. After growing bored with him (usually after about 5 minutes) people will often leave him there alone to play his game. Now he believes his wife is staging his friends to blow him off as well, in an effort to change his ways and has been even more hostile with family and friends. We told him point blank as a group we're just not into the game and asked that he chill out on the game when we come over, and insists he'll play whatever he wants in any room he chooses as long as he pays the mortgage. |
Question: Interesting toys for a creative boy who likes to build stuff but is getting older? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 08:31 AM PST I have a 10-year-old grandson who is very creative and loves building things. He has been a Lego fan in the past but is kind of outgrowing that. His current obsession is Minecraft, but he already has so many video games and his parents have a hard time peeling him away, so I'm trying to avoid more video stuff. Any good toys to recommend? |
Question: Family problems. How do I deal with this? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 07:49 AM PST I'm 16. Recently my dad, mom and I were invited to a VIP concert, by my dad's friend, who is a famous singer. Now my mom wants to divorce my dad because she fell in love with the singer, saying that he's her "Twin Soul". She even asked my dad to help translate her love letter to her... The singer is marries and has a child...., but my mom says "There will be a miracle.", well if there isn't, it's clearly gonna show that she ain't loyal. Oh gosh what do I do.. . If she gets accepted, we will feel bad. If she gets rejected, she'll probably commit suicide... |

Question: What do I get my boyfriends parents who do not approve of our relationship for Christmas? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 07:36 AM PST My wonderful boyfriend asked his father's blessing to marry me and welcome me into the family, his father readily declined and had a very less than flattering opinion of me. His parents are good people, but they are very legalistic Baptists whereas I am not. They found out I tried Molly (MDMA) over the summer and decided I was a drug addict. Seriously, they ask me how my "drug addiction" is coming along. I grit my teeth and bear it. Regardless, I would like to do something nice for Christmas. I do not have much money so I was hoping to get some DIY ideas. I was thinking maybe a sugar/salt scrub, homemade candy, that kind of thing? I would do the same for his sister-in-laws :) Let me know some ideas, thanks! These people are good hearted, but the women in the family take a back seat to the men. The women don't work, they stay at home and care for the home. I am awaiting acceptance to law school and my boyfriend ADORES me for being different, he constantly clashes with his family. . . |

Question: Me vs Boyfriend's mom? (10 points?)? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:55 AM PST So on Saturday, me, my boyfriend, and his mom went shopping and then out to eat. While we shopped, she bought clothes for his nephew/her grandson. When we walked out of that store, she began telling him about the clothes and said the word "uncle", which somehow made me angry (I don't yet have any nephews and nieces of my own). I was also having mood swings, so I let go of his hand and walked off angrily into the nearest store. They follow me and she yells at me. I was really ticked at first, but I eventually got over it. After I calmed down, we got along good and I apologized for my behavior when we went out to eat. Then after she drops me off, she tells my boyfriend I'm immature and self-centered. When he told me this the next day (Sunday), I was angry. I told him about the whole problem and even admitted that I'm not innocent either because I called her names in the past out of anger (to him, not her). This caused a fight between us, and he DID try to tell her how I felt, which she just brushed off. That was the only time she ever yelled at me and the only time I ever acted like that in front of her. I also feel that she should have talked to me or asked if I was okay (since I was upset and only walked off instead of yelling at her). Who's right here, and why? He's going to be a uncle-his nephew isn't going to be born until Feburary.... My boyfriend isn't a child. He's 16 and so am I |
Question: What do you think of my cousin's relationship? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:53 AM PST My cousin is 25, and her sister, my other cousin, is 21. My 25 year old cousin is in a relationship, and I have never met her boyfriend. My cousin's boyfriend is a divorced father of two, and is 38 years old. Problem #1. The age difference/marital status. My cousin is a quiet girl, and she would literally let anyone walk all over her, and her sister is the complete opposite. My younger cousin tells me that her sister's boyfriend is a negative person, and kind of controlling. If she wants to hang out with her sister, her sister will say "I can't he wants me home by 10:30." Who lets their boyfriend do that? Their father abandoned the family years and years ago, but now they live close to him, and my cousin's boyfriend always tells my younger cousin to get along with her father even though he has no clue what happened, so he has no room to talk. He also discouraged my older cousin, his girlfriend, from going to school, but thankfully she did. Whenever I text her she always seems to either be cooking or cleaning. Also, he's a different nationality from what we are, and we do not get along with his nationality at all. Problem #3. Her sister has told me that she doesn't even eat a certain type of food, because he won't. She would eat it all the time when we were growing up! What are your opinions? I think she needs to leave him and live her life. Also, she takes care of his kids. |
Question: Should I feel bad for my dad? I ve been given a very hard decision and am feeling guilty.? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:26 AM PST So my dad is verbal and physically abusive. Like the past weekend he was twisting my mom s hand and trying to break it, I guess, he keeps saying he wants to punish her for not taking care of his parents etc. And it was out of no where my mom was just sitting on the bed watching tv with a.scarf on her head, then he said he was going out. She said ok, then he said do you want anything and she said no. He then started verbally attacking her sayjng, she didn t speak to him correctly, and gave him a dirty look. This proceeded to physical abuse, I had to put myself between him and my mom. I got a little hurt, my mom got a scratch. My mom was pretty much on the bed and I was trying to push his hands away. He told me after he kicked her out of the house or Idk "took care of her", he would still provide for Me and I don t have to worry about anythibg. He also tells me that I m taking my mom s side which is a sin, Idk what that means. This isn t the first time. He doesn t ask for money. He also says I don't love him, it's more like I don't like him. He's still my father. He gets mad even if I'm sitting next to my mom. I m 27 and I m feeling guilty for leaving him and then he did raise me so it s hard to know what to feel. I m indian so I know I will be ostracized. I am afraid he will kill her one day and I can t even go to the bathroom I m so scared to leave her alone |
Question: How do I talk to my mom about getting married? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:25 AM PST Okay so here's the deal. I am 18 years old and my girlfriend turns 19 in a couple weeks. We have been best friends for 4 years and dating for just under 9 months. I love her beyond what I've felt for anyone else and it just keeps getting stronger. She feels the same about me. Recently we found out she was pregnant, and after about a week it pulled us together. Then she had a miscarriage and it tore us back apart slightly. Currently we are still working on a few depression episodes because of it but we are good. Anyway she really wants to get married, which I would definitely do, but I don't know how to tell my parents. My mother has always been very strict and told me that nobody marries their high school sweetheart and stays in a relationship. I don't know what my dad would say but I'm nervous. She really wants to get married soon but I can't figure out what to tell my parents. |
Question: Can I move into my friend s house? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:24 AM PST My friend is actually my boyfriend and his mom loves me so she wouldn t have a problem with it. All my parents do is yell at me and complain that I am never doing anything. I run to the store and buy their groceries, I drive the boys to school because my mom won t get out of bed to do that, I make my own dinner because they won t make it for me, I do there two weeks worth of dishes, I m tired of hearing that I m always asking for this when I am not, this morning my mom didn t even talk to me but she yelled at my brother to talk to me since I am deaf which I am not, I am always in my room, I never leave my room unless I have to I eat my dinner in there too. I m tired of feeling like a stranger in my own house and I tired to talk to them about it but they don t listen to me then we get into a fight about it. And it usually ends up with them yelling at me to go to room and to shut up and be quiet. I don t think I can handle that environment anymore |
Question: What to do with extremely agrressive autistic brother.? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:21 AM PST my husbands mother has passed away. my husband and I are his brothers only family. hes 18, weighs over 300 pounds, and is extremely aggresive. hes attacked me several times. he dropped out of school at 14, and every single day since then he has been home( he refuses to leave the house) and plays video games from 5 am till 10 pm. he threw my husband through a glass window (he had to be rushed to the er because he was losing so much blood) We are trying desperately to figure out if we should take him, or find him a home. he has extreme outburst, and is rather difficult. his mother let him get away with whatever he wanted because it was easier for her. her last wish was for us to take him, but between his violent outburst, and the fact he likes to hurt animals, (hes kicked our dogs several times) & pees on EVERYTHING I just dont know if we can provide him the home he needs. any advice is appreciated. we live in phoenix, but we are moving into our new house in cali. We have enough money to put into a really great home but were not sure if thats healthy for him. |
Question: My brother doesn't seem to even want me to confide in him and help us get better ? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:09 AM PST My parents & 12 y/o brother died a month ago in a car accident. The only family member I have is my 17y/o brother.Things are emotionally broken for us.I'm the oldest brother & his guardian.I recently got a phone call from school that my brother injured another student, which was a shock as this has never happened before.I came to realization that my brother was bullied all the way through high school by this particular student & his friends, b'coz he was normally the 'quiet one', so they liked pushing him around. But my brother never told me or our parents about it & taking the bully down was actually easy for him,as my brother used to go for kick boxing(b'coz of the bullying). What made my brother snap was that the bully made an offensive remark of our late 12y/o brother, which obviously made my brother to attack. The principle has given permission for my brother to stay home for a week so he can clear his mind off.My brother doesn't want to talk to me,he has been in his room & crying.Him & our 12 y/o were very close & after the deaths,my brother has changed & his behavior is unpredictable. He has become quiet even at home & gets angry if I try to even comfort him. This is hard on me,its been over a month,I will always miss my parents & brother,it really hurts & I can't stop crying too.l just want to confide on the only family that I have.I feel if I could talk to him,we can make things better for us in this tough time,as even Christmas is approaching, but he keeps pushing me out? |
Question: Why does my younger sister hate me? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 06:01 AM PST I have tried so hard my whole life to get close to her. Helped her as much as I could, have always gone above and beyond for her. She has made snooty comments about how carefree I am and that my looks wont last forever. That I need to figure out life. What she said stuck and I did it. Went to school and now doing very well. She is NOT happy for me. She has been in school many years to be a nurse and I have been cheering her on. Bragging to everyone about her, yet she is talking bad about me behind my back. Recently our last fight was a miscommunication of where I needed to drop off her son/ my nephew. 15 minutes before he needs to be somewhere she stats screaming at me on the phone. I don't like negativity so I hung up. I was covered head to toe in paint and needed to shower before I got into my new car. I had my BF drop him off and continued to ignore her demanding texts. I just noticed that she unfriended me from FB a week later when I was going to see if she was coming over to my mom and my son's bday party still? She told my mom no, and her sons father that he is not allowed to bring him here. She is scarifying our moms feelings and her nephew because she is mad at me. This story is a example of a annual fight. We won't talk for months and I end up being the ice breaker and forgiving her. She needs help with her anger. Our mom said she couldn't help her financially when she requested help, she screamed saying she is dead to her. Should I end this relationship? |
Question: I don't understand love.? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 05:53 AM PST First of all i apologized if my grammar is wrong. I never really understand what love means and how it feels? I have an average family my parent never abuse me, but i still dont understand it. |
Question: My mom is being a complete and utter ***. How to deal with her unruly attitude? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 04:57 AM PST I am 18 and going on my 2nd year out of HS and my 1rst year into college. I still live with my parents, so I get the "abide by your parent s rules" sh**. Though I kinda live at my parent s I ve been spending most of my time at work and with my bf before school starts. (which I m only going to college b/c my parents said I have to and I ll be paying for all of it). Don t start with the move out crap b/c I got offered a higher up postion where I work now that I could move out on and get a car on (no I don t have a car) so I spoke to my mom about it and she told me that she hates that all her time is spent driving me to work and to get a car of my own.(3 days a flipping week) which I was offered a FT position. full time = more money enough for car but she says no. Sadly b/c of my mom I had to turn down the job promotion. meaning I can t move out or get a car. Now she s telling me that I need to keep my room clean and pretty looking when just recently she took away all my storage space! So all my stuff is sitting in plastic bins b/c she said she needed money and sold my dressers and storage areas and hasn t replaced them with anything but plastic bins and she wants me to make it look pretty!! Right now I have all my stuff stacked so it s out of everyone s way and on top of it all. I m never freaking home!! So my room is never messy (just not pretty) and my bf a lot of times takes me to work (yes I pay her gas money when she picks me up and drops me off) Help!! |
Question: Grandma goes to salon every week, what is the purpose? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 04:48 AM PST My grandma is in her early 90s, but functions like a 70 yr old. She still drives, etc. Every single week, she has to visit her hairdresser to get her hair washed or permed. My husband and I think its 1) a waste of money when you get buy a $1.00 bottle of shampoo and do it yourself 2) very, very silly and pointless. My mom says her grandmother (my great grandmother) also went to the salon every week- despite never being able to drive. I understand she's not asking for any $ from anyone, and it should be "no skin off our nose" as my mom points out- but why would someone waste money ($30 a week) to have their hair washed 2-3 days before church? |
Question: Today is my birthday, and i feel so alone...? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 04:31 AM PST Turned 25 today and it's been the same just like every year. Nobody wished me, not even my parents. And to be honest, I don't want anyone to wish me because I am used to it now. Personally I don't have any real friends and I don't expect anything from them. It's just they my parents forgot as well. My dad basically works all the time and my mom is so busy with her affair that she had that she forgot about her son and just like always gives me money so that I could buy something for myself. It's been the same every single time, money and money on my birthday. But they never asked me what I really wanted; was a family a proper one..... |
Posted: 08 Dec 2015 04:30 AM PST I am 15, she is 17. Earlier today she logged on Facebook on my phone and forgot to log out. I went on my phone before and saw it was open. I didn't want to go through her messages and I was trying to look for the log out button. I navigated wrong and clicked on something just sent by one of her many exes. It was a fight over FB message and how she was pregnant and he didn't care about it, and if anyone finds out it will ruin her life forever. I am so scared I'm shaking. She always told me she was innocent and was waiting till marriage. I don't want the burden of knowing this. I don't want to know. What do I do? Please? |

Question: My cousin just came to my country but didn't tell me? Should I call him? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 03:23 AM PST I'm from Bosnia and I currently live in Sweden. I had this cousin who I basically grew up with as a kid. We spent basically every summer together in Bosnia doing stupid things. Then 5 years ago he got married, got a kid and the whole shabang. We haven't seen each other since. I'm not mad about that. That is life. People lose touch all the time. But I was in Bosnia for the first time in 3 years about a month ago. I was there with my father to watch a football game. I invited him and we saw each other. First time in 5 years. It was weird. He brought a friend and he was incredibly cold. I must have asked him over 50 questions about his life, his family, his job. He didn't ask me anything about my life. He mostly spent his time chatting with his friend. I tried getting in there but it was hard. His brother, my other cousin, also lives in Sweden. About 2 hours from me. My mother calls me and says that he has been here for almost a week to visit his brother and to help him with some car thing. I just find it very disrespectful in a way. It kind of shows me that he is not interested in any relationship with me. He's leaving on Friday but had he told me we could have organized something. I thought about maybe calling them but it's kind of clear that he wants nothing to do with me. Right? |
Question: Am I being an possesive troll? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 03:12 AM PST I feel like my mom is trying to play second mommy to my son (EDD 3/1/16).Every time she buys something, example formula, or diapers, or wipes, or clothes, they have to stay at her house "for the nights that she has him". she claims she's helping me out but if I want to take something she BOUGHT ME for HIM. I always get that response. I already told her that I'm not letting him stay the night at ANYONE'S house for awhile. She tells me whatever I'm gonna need her because I'm gonna need a break from him when he gets 3 months old and I NEED her to babysit,me and S/O already have a plan set up and it works perfectly. My mom is the type to have strings attached to her offerings, and she also is very overbearing. Anyways, I feel like she sees my son as an object as a way to get attention from people, she wants to have a coming home baby party when he's like a month old, so all her friends can say Oh look at how handsome he is congratulations(to her not me) and so she can be the center of attention and I've seen how she is with babies she doesn't like to give them back! I said no because I was advised it is flu season, and his immune system isn't ready he hasn't gotten all his vaccinations, after me telling her no about the coming home thing she never responds then posts on Facebook It's not that I don't care, I'm just backing off." like WTF did I Do wrong? because I don't want my sons health being compromised by him being passed around by YOUR friends that makes me a bad person? |

Question: My mother found out I'm having sex? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 02:36 AM PST I'll be 21 in feb and last night after snooping around my ipad, my mother found out I've been sleeping with this guy that i knew for 2 years after I had already gotten caught sending pictures to him a few weeks ago. It's a friends with benefits thing, but i tried to cover it was a relationship at the very least. I'm so devastated and embarrassed, i was almost to the point of suicide had she told my dad. I just want some advice because I'm incredibly stressed out and I know she and my sister can't look at me the same anymore. |
Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:58 AM PST So a friend of mine was arguing with her father about going to her moms and stepdads house for christmas but he was saying no and all that. he is a little over protective but he didnt really know he had a daughter until she was in 6th grade and now she is in 10th. She brought this up and said that her stepfather 'was more of a father then he would ever be' and then he slapped her. I mean yeah it was a little disrespectful but i dont think he needed to hit her. She still isnt going to her moms house. But what would any of you had done? |
Question: I don't want my daughter to have sex? Posted: 08 Dec 2015 12:57 AM PST My 18 year old daughter hangs out with this friend of hers which I know is very perverted, I've seen signs of him and constantly observes his motive -- sex. No one else in the household knows about this, and I have yet to tell my wife yet. I don't want my daughter to go out with such a man, he is very suspicious and just the thought of my innocent little child being violated by this guy is unforgivable. I can't stand it. How do I shake this guy off my daughter's life? I understand she is old enough to make her own decisions now. However a part of my doesn't want to accept that. As a boy I know how things go from here, this guy is a serious threat he might be planning to shoot porn with her. My daughter happens to be busty for an 18 year old. Sure she has grown and I am proud of that as a father. Doesn't mean I'll just stand here and watch her get picked upon the wrong industry. |

I'm just so angry and sad and don't know what to do. I hate her I felt as if I've lost all respect for her. you see, I do want to confront her about it, but idk how. and now she just told me she's leaving on the 15th so San Francisco but she's actually going with the guy to LA on that day wtf I hate my life |

Question: How do I get my 18 year old son to care about his future? Posted: 07 Dec 2015 10:50 PM PST Hello I am a mother of an 18 year son, only child. Growing up he was always a good kid, honors student, and very easy going. Never got into any trouble. We hd such a great relationship u til he was 16 and I caught him smoking weed. That ruined our relationship. I started drug testing him weekly which I know upset him but I thought I was doing the right thing. He stopped caring about school at the end of his junior year but I pushed him too hard and forced him to get good grades. I made him apply to colleges which he got accepted to many, but I knew he wasn't thrilled about but my rule is if you don't go to school you can't live in my house. The first semester he called and fold me he hated it and wanted to leave and I told him he couldn't come home unless he finished the semester. Then I didn't hear from him in three months. He has since dropped out and bought a truck which he lives out of, and apparently lives at the beach and works at a restaraunt, and sleeps and surfs all day on his days off then sleeps in the back of his truck. He has become a beach bum and only cares about surfing. How do I comvince to get back to school? He just called me the other night to tell me he was ok but he has lost a lot of weight. I feel like this is all my fault. Please help |
