He's a pretty sarcastic and cynical guy, but ever since we've known each other, he's treated me differently than everyone else we know. He's kind to me and opens up to me about a lot of things that are hard for him to talk about. He lets his "wall" down when we're together. A few months ago, he was going through a particularly hard time due to suffering from withdrawals from a medication he had been addicted to. I was a friend to him throughout this time, and we really grew close because of this. One night he came over to my house and one thing led to another and we had sex. Since then, we've been dating. That was about 5 months ago. He calls me his girlfriend and we regularly hug, kiss, have sex, etc. But not once has he said he loved me. I haven't said it either because I don't want to scare him away or make myself too vulnerable. It's hard for him to express his feelings, I get that. But if he can kiss me and have sex with me, why can't he say "I love you"? Am I asking too much? He's such a complicated, messed up guy. I don't know what to think of him half of the time. Yesterday, my friend told me he didn't actually like me. We were at a party a few months ago night & my friend, the guy I liked & myself were pretty drunk. He didn't ask me to their last fraternity function last month so I began to wonder if it was just me that was having crush like feelings. A couple of weeks ago, he asked me if he thought my roommate would want to go with him to their semi formal. Posted: 03 Dec 2015 06:32 PM PST I was with my ex 2 years before we ended it because the relationship was dead after trying it just wasn't working so we took time apart, Shortly after, I met a guy who left the next day for navy duties..we emailed for a month and we started to really form a connection.. and he came back from his mini-deployment and we spent a whole month together, I really started to like him and we had already gotten to know so much about each other trhough just the emails, he wanted to date me but I wasn't quite ready.. my issue is that he left for deployment for 7 months and my ex came back around and said he wanted to try to fix things, so I had been spending time with im, his family still loves me and thinks we never broke up.... it put me in a weird place because It is tough to think about letting all of that go, and starting with someone new.... anyway i found out I was pregnant, which was a dealbreaker for my ex. because it was the navy guy's kid. I'm also young, (19) BUT I am a senior at my university and am about to have my bachelors. I have a job and a plan, and the both of them have jobs also, I hate the idea of abortion.... but It is still so early, I want to take the pill mainly beause it is possible my ex and I will get back together, and the navy guy... would be gone most of the pregnancy, there are just lots of complications... But I am not sure. |

| Question: How can I help my girlfriend with her brother? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 06:31 PM PST I love her and she feels comfortable enough to tell me about her brother's past. He has been in and out of rehab for heroin. I actually met her whole family on Thanksgiving and her brother wouldn't even acknowledge me there (which was clearly noticed by everyone there). It didn't really bother me because I understand that he's going through some tough times. I just don't know what to tell my girlfriend when she talks about him. i kind of just sit there in silence.. I want to help but i just dont know what to say.. |

I called him two days later because i regretted breaking up with him, but it sounded like he didn t want to so we agreed we would stay as friends. Two days later, he texted me and said that he missed me and sounded like he wanted to get back together. I was mad that he didn t want to get back together when I called so I was a ***** to him. So now it s been a day and he hasn t replied back. Should I text him and see what s up or just leave it alone and move on?? I really do like him, but our situation is hard. He is in the military and I m in college so it s hard to find time and chat, but I do want to work things out. Just now sure if he should be the one trying or should I?
